TheQualityofMercy Lighten the skirt just a little more...and let the light-area expend closer to her arm.
The highlight on the hair looks pretty good, I would make her curls two or three pixels thicker. That way you can have more fun practicing to shade them! whee
Did you give her a smaller chest? Perhaps it's your white being evil again.
Feel free to go just a titch darker around the very edges. The grey you've got right now looks awesome!

My current Gaia avatar is a good example of white clothing on avatars, you might notice that they go quite dark grey with shading and it still looks fine.
Darker shadows stop things looking luminant. 3nodding

 ninja dunno if I should be here...but just made this for a friend of mine...of a more ...modern crowd...needed opinions. XD And yes, the staff IS suppose to be exactly the same color as the shirt. I had a hard enough time distinguishing it in the picture... emotion_sweatdrop

Good guess, sailore, this is where the comments and criticisms are served in buckets.
I do like your latest edit. The pastelly colours do make it look very soft and very homosexual. I'm sure your mate will be very happy. :3
Lucca: I really do love the details on the suit's engraved pannels. The helmet is exquisite. You have every right to be proud. That edit is definitely one of your most in-depth. Awesome work!

i know u said that the staff & shirt are the same exact color.. but if u want to distinguish one from the other more, u can try giving the staff more of a shading on its right/bottom side & a soft highlighting on the left/top side.

lucca, i agree with vorty.. ur stormtrooper edit is spectacular.. u did a wonderful job with the armour & helmet's shading, and i like how the pose came out with the blaster rifle. tis a work worthy of praise. 3nodding
