The thick drop of drool that has been forming at the corner of Reya's lip finally reached its limits and fell. It landed on her right arm, where Reya laid her head. The faint sound was enough to wake her up. She took a short glance around the room and noticed how it was empty.
Then Reya raised her head anf arched her back. She streched her arms to their limits and yawned. Yet again Reya had fallen alseep behind the bar counter, while she was on duty. And yet again no one was around to interact with. Hopefully, she thought, today or tonight (she had lost track of time and there weren't any windows in sight to peek out of to see if there was any light out) would be different.

Sitting atop the bar counter he drank some unindentifiable liquid from a wine flute. Despite being in plain view, he melds so well with his enviroment that one probably wouldn't notice him at all. Blowing the long white bangs that hung limply in front of his face he smiled having been watching her from afar.
"Ah so sleeping beauty finally graces us with her presence. Welcome back to conciousness m'lady."
Sipping more of his beverage his dimly hued eyes sparkle as if expecting something more.

In total contrast to his dim eyes, hers glowed a brilliant blue that could be seen from miles away. She recognized him from a previous visit, although she knew it was from a long time ago.
Reya sat down trying to remember the past encounter with him. The only physical difference was that her eyebrows knitted together and her blank, lost gaze that went right through him. After a minute of so she gave up (what's so great about the past anyway?).
Instead Reya acknowledged the compliment and bowed in response.
"Why, thank you. I feel welcomed."

Wrapping his tail around his waist he hopped off the counter looking over the drinks. Turning to face her he smiled.
"So is there anything I can get you? You may be the bartender, but even the servant must be served at times."
Blinding grasping his drink once again with his tail he brought it to his lips.
"Its been awhile since I have interacted with anyone. I have been tranversing the world trying to find inspiration...."

Looking down and around and the wide selection of the drinks Reya had to choose from, one caught her eye. It was faint, but she saw it in the extreme corner of her eye. It was a fine tannish color, something she hadn't seen before. After jerking her head down and slightly to the left she noticed that it was her exposed legs that the tan color belonged to.
She blushed, and nonchalantly lifted her left leg and slowly placed it over her right one. Reya tried to act as if nothing was out of the ordinary, but she's heard of these Kitsune (assuming he was one with his fox-like features) and from what she's heard, they're quite observant.
"Ooohh, water's fine..."
She said, a bit forced, but she was able to get it out.
"What's this about inspiration..?"

Nodding at her request he reached into mini fridge producing a bottle of water. Setting the bottle before her he laughed lightly.
"My inspiration lies in attempting to find different ideas for my spell casting and training. Lately I have been up north training in the artic."
Propping his chin in his palm he smiled acting as if he hadn't been admiring her legs a moment before.
"So what have you been up to yourself? I know little of your exploits."

Reya clutched the water with her right hand and twisted the top open. She took a little sip, then breathed in and out. The cold water that ran down her throat revitalized her.
"Ooooh let's see... Reya's exploits, Reya's exploits, Reya's exploits..."
She repeated to herself although anyone in the general vicinity could hear it. As she thought Reya placed her left tip of her index finger oartly in her mouth. Her pupils sank to the bottom of her eyes as she gazed at the floor, lost in thought. Then, out of no where, she shot up.
"Hmmm, nope. Comin' up empty! I'd much rather hear about your spells and all that fun stuff!"
Her eyes beamed as she smiled, waiting in anticipation.

Watching her from afar he smiled crossing his arms over chest his dimly hued eyes appearing to almost be a golden hue from the overhead lights.
"I'm sure your just being modest...but I won't pry."
Laughing he mulled over her question of his spells and experiences.
"Well I can speak of such things, but they don't try get the point across as well unless you can show it."
Turning towards the small fridge he had retrieved her water from he produced one for himself.
"Well let me give you an example of what I've done..."
Twisting off the cap he proceeded to pour some of contents on the bar counter top, rattling off undiscernable language. Rather than flowing onto the floor it pooled into the shape of a perfect disk. Raising his hand over the pool he looked to her once more.
"Well every year I make a jaunt to the artic...."
The image of the white tundry could be seen in the disk as he spoke. Panning the image of ranges of mountains and majestic bodies of water could be seen with large icebergs atop their surfaces.
"There the harsh conditions prove to help build concentration and focus."
In the image a heavy blizzard blew harshly across the cold wasteland.

Reya marveled over the disk of water that produced such vivid images and accurate landscapes. In many ways it reminded her of a shake-up globe. But instead of focusing on that, she continued to gaze at the blizzard in front of her. She took in little of what he said. Only the key parts that seemed to be important stuck out.
"So, you have spells that keep you warm in that snowy place?"

Nodding at her question he smiled.
"I could but I mainly bind myself in bandages and tough it out in the wasteland. Keeping ones mind focused helps to strengthen one's resistance against interruption when casting spells."
Waving his hand over the disc of water it rippled and seeped onto the floor.
"I also have spells for clean up...hehe"
Crouching down he produced a handerchief from within his cloaks to wipe up the mess he had made.

Before he mentioned cleaning up himself, Reya paniced at the sight of the water slowly making its way to the floor (the same exact floor she cleaned yesterday). She then giggled after seeing his "magical" way of cleaning up the mess.
"Heh..."
She looked at her right ankle, the elastic on her sock was wearing down. The sock itself hung down slightly below her ankle. The most annoying feeling in the world, she though as she bent down to pull it back into its place, only to have it slip again sometime in the near future.
"Here, fix this for me, huh?"
Reya streched out her right leg and held it in place next to her new acquaintance.

Still crouched low upon the ground he blinked at her request turning to see her outstretched leg before him. Cover his mouth with his hand briefly he smirked admiring the gentle curve of her leg.
"I prefer not to use my magic too much...if you've got it flaunt it."
Gazing at her foot he gently places hand atop the bend of her ankle tracing the contour a similar enchantation to the one he had cast earlier filtering from his lips. Following his touch the fibers of the sock seemed to stiffen slighty. Grazing the skin of her calf with his finger tips he smiled up at her face.
"I have restored the elastic in your sock...All things have memory, and it remembered its prior state and thus was able to achieve such for once again."
Rising to his feet he settled atop his bar stool his gray eyes flickering in the light.

Reya smiled and soon bowed in appreciation. She sort of understood why he wouldn't what to use magic on such a frivolous matter. But quickly dismissed the thought as she gazed longingly at her new and improved sock. As quickly as the actual spell was casted, Reya darted down and pulled up her sock. Now it stayed in place where it belonged.
She then directed her attention back to the fox, who seemed to have moved back to the bar stool. Not saying a word now, Reya reached over for her bottled water and continued to drink it slowly, swinging her feet in a back and forth motion.
((Sorry for the pause; I was watching the end of FMA. @.@ ))

((No problem. The series is climaxing and many of the questions are beginning to be answered.))
Finding his original wine flute he brought the contents to his lips his gaze resting on her, clearly enthralled. Breaking his gaze he drained his drink finding the remainder of the bottle of water he had used to cast a spell earlier.
Refilling his glass he produced a caplet from within his cloaks, crack it open with a slight twist of his finger tips. The fine power and cascaded into the wine flute mixed into the water swirling into a warm amber hue. Whatever was had a earthy scent to it, but not in a bad way. Swirling about the liquid it once again retained the hue of the liquid he had been drinking earlier.
Breaking the silence he spoke in his warm baritone.
"I hope you are pleased with my work, its not very often I recieve requests such as those."

She returned the look. Her face tilted slightly to the left and her mouth held open a bit. She placed her hands on her hips then back up onto the bar couter, where they remained.
"You've never had a sock problem?!"
She was needlessly loud and shocked. The tone of her voice was not hostile enough to be taken offensively, it was just rather unnecassary.
