Athena rolled her eyes as much as she could. "I do what can. Not all easy. You try." For emphasis, she stuck out her tongue.

"Oh, believe me, young dragon, there is nothing simple about any of this. But why complicate the little things? You love this girl, as do I, and so you shall be able to see her. She shall need those she loves to completely heal as it is, so who am I to deny her?" He shrugged his shoulders, accepting.

Ialo was silent. He had no idea what to say back to Eldest. The Ancient's explanations were acceptable, yet unacceptable to Ialo. Something felt wrong. It was an awful tugging in his chest, and it wouldn't go away. He couldn't tell what exactly what it was, but something terrible was happening somewhere close by.
"I..." Ialo began slowly. "There is something wrong. There is something very, very wrong here." His hazel eyes were glassed over and had a haunted, empty look. The dragon was sensing something on a level his human half could not comprehend. The imbalance was causing his mind to lose focus, leaving Ialo glancing through the room and seemingly past the walls for whatever was spooking him. He ran his hand through his hair nervously. His breathing was speeding up. "I need to go, whatever the hell is causing this..."
Ialo did not finish whatever he had been saying. He simply turned and walked out the dorm door, closing it behind him. There were no students in the hallway to see him, no one to suspect anything.
"Koy," he thought to the angel, his mental voice sounding extremely anxious and unsure. "Something is wrong. Cover me and help me find it."

Ialo's message hit Koy loud and clear, she took a breath and answered. "Yes I sense it also ... It's gone but it's evil still lingers in the air," She answered him the voice that echoed in his mind was far calmer and somewhat soothing. "Where do you want me to meet you?" She asked already walking towards the doors of the school.

"... The basement." Ialo's response was a few moments delayed as he was trying to scout out the source of this terrible uneasiness. It was coming from underneath the school, permeating through the floors and walls.
As he was speaking to Koy, Ialo was dashing down the stairs, and finally realized it be so much faster to cast an intangibility spell and plunge through the floor of the school into the basement.
It was eerie and dark in there, almost like a dungeon. The walls were concrete, and it was essentially a grid of four hallways with many storage rooms. There were also very large open areas, the only adornments being the items too bulky or eclectic to be put into the smaller organized rooms, and series of plain stone columns to support the building.
"Where, where, where...." Ialo mumbled to himself. His eyes had quickly dilated to accommodate for the lack of light down here. The whole basement exuded various auras from the magical items down there.
He walked to the center of the basement and turned around slowly, hoping to locate the source of his sudden anxiety.

Once koy heard Ialo's response she immediately rushed to the basements. It was cool and dark although as she walked she began glowing softly illuminating the space around her. "This is defiantly where it's coming from ... why is it so much fainter then before?" she asked him mentally as her hands gently ran against the dark, clammy walls. "Someone has recently escaped a dark prison ... but at what cost I can't tell." She grumbled to herself noticing herself glowing like a firefly in a mirror that had been leaning against the wall.

Setsuka could feel Ialo's presence return to the basement before she herself returned, and a wicked grin broke her face, wild eyes glinting with untold malice. Satan had not agreed to her plans--not yet. He would though; oh, he would. She would ensure that at nigh any cost. There was little she could accomplish without an army, and Satan's army was already so very well-trained... it would save her much time.
Shoving down the maniacal cackle that threatened to run from her tongue, she masked her aura and feel, adopting the aura of that Luna woman whose body she had stolen, made hers. No one would be able to tell the difference--not until they saw her, not until they encountered her. It was a perfect disguise.
Ripping a hole and stepping back into the basement from whence she had come, she ran haphazardly to where she could feel Ialo's aura. "Ialo!" she yelled, her voice sounding so odd to her ears as it, too, took upon Luna's tone and inflections. She was headed on a crash-course for the dragon.

Koy flinched hearing Luna's voice and immediately knew the direction from where she was coming, but not where the two were. "... oh no... please not her, Not to Ialo!" She said knowing Luna hadn't been on the campus when they got there, after that it was easy to piece things together. "Damn it where are you Ialo? trying to contact you could put you in more risk."

Ialo continued to scan his surroundings for anything unusual. He was so focused, he had not been paying attention to anything Koy might have been telling him. He finally stopped, and stood there a moment, lost.
Suddenly, he heard his name called out, and whirled around. "Luna!" Ialo called back. He grinned - he was so happy to see her. Already, the anxiety was receding from his mind. His guard was down. "What are doing down here? Do you feel something strange too?"

Mentally, Setsuka smirked. It was working--that stupid dragon was falling for her trap. "Ialo!" she repeated, her face pulled and distraught. "I--it was--I mean--" She pretended to be so horrified that she was speechless, and she barrelled into Ialo. She buried her face into his chest. She would not give him time to figure out that she was not Luna until she wanted him to know--he would be at her mercy.

Eldest merely shrugged when Ialo left. If anything was wrong, it would not enter this room. He would make sure of it. Even as the door slammed behind Ialo, Danni was awakening, groaning softly as she pushed herself up on the bed, pushing her hair back from in front of her face.
"...Eldest?" Her heart beat slowed from it's panicked speed when his hand took hers, and she didn't realize, not then, how dependent she had grown towards the man who'd saved her soul. "I'm sorry, I fell asleep...Where's Ialo?" She asked, confused, and Eldest chuckled, stroking her hair.
"He had some business to attend to, my child. Don't fret." He said, and felt her relaxing under his soothing hand.

Ialo made a funny noise -he lost his breath when Luna launched herself onto him. "Whoah, whoah, what's the matter?" He was alarmed - what the hell happened to her? "Luna, you need to tell me."
He hugged her, held her tight, hoping his embrace would comfort her like it always had. Her personal heater, she had dubbed him. "Where is it Luna? What's got you freaked out so badly?"

She shook for a few more moments, odd sounds coming and--she lifted her head, her arms moving quickly, ripping his from around her and throwing her hands around his neck. Dropping her pretenses, she grinned at Ialo--an insane grin, her eyes wide and frightening. "Me," she said, laughing.

His eyes widened, and he suddenly understood - this was not his Luna. His Luna could not smile like that, she couldn't - she wasn't -
Ialo pushed her away. His heart was racing. He took a step backwards. "You..." He didn't know what to say, how to respond right then. It seemed like an eternity before he heard himself say anything.
"Who are you?!" Ialo demanded angrily. His eyes seemed to turn blue, but instead flashed to red. Already, Riser's mark had kicked in, and black markings on his right hands had appeared, and were spreading like spilled ink up his arm.

She cackled, following him like a predator would follow prey. "Oh, Ialo... I am saddened. Do you not remember me?" She pouted before reaching out and dragging a fingernail along his jaw. "I had so hoped you would..."
