"She was the one chosen by God, from the moment she was born." He explained patiently, running a hand over the girl's hair. "She is the Hero of Prophecy. Without her...The Top World, where all of you live, will inevitably be overtaken by Satan and his minions. He's gaining power, and only one on this earth blessed with the gifts to defeat him is the one from the Prophecy, out little Danni. See now, now when she's to be sixteen soon. The marks are already appearing, the marks of her fate."

He pushed up Danni's shirt just a bit, revealing the clear marks of a dark sorceress on her back. But there, twining around the black markings, were faint white ones, blending together so that they almost seemed to glow.

"She wields both light and dark inside her, as no other can, in perfect balance. She has access to spells and magics from both sides, and the thin line in between. It's something only she can do, something she's been training all her life for. I wouldn't have wished it on a young girl. Always before, the prophets were male, strong, loved, white magic sorcerers. She was a first, and it seems she'll be our last in this line of searching. It ends with her, at least as far as the fates are concerned." He murmured, lowering her shirt again.

((sounds like a silver-wing, anyway I don't want to leave Athena or boom, but I don't want to lose intrest so X will stay with the group))

Koi had since left a bloody line of freaks, and the city behind her happily dashing away towards the school. "I'll have to summon Athena when I get there." She said happily as the rough road turned into grass and forest. The trip was hardly an effort for her every second she seemed to only run faster, even when she hit the woods she never slowed down.

((Neither of them will be posting for another day or two, so it's alright. We'll just say whatever Zephyr was doing as the escape route worked, and Riser and Athena got away safely as well.))

((Also, Silver, thanks for the idea!))

Ialo stared at Eldest, having a tough time coming to terms with what he was being told. All the proof was right in front of him, the Ancient was telling the truth, but... seriously? But that didn't stop the thoughts, the ideas beginning to bloom in the dragon's head.

"Perfect balance, as no other can, huh? Something only she can do?" Ialo repeated to the Ancient. "After what I've been through myself, I can't approve of any sort of higher power using a child for an ulterior motive. Even if it's to save the world."

"But -" The Headmaster paced around the dorm, fiddling with strange toy-sized black cube in his hand. "You don't know a lot about this so-called Top World, do you?"

He turned around and stared down Eldest (which is an interesting task when the guy you're trying to stare down is taller than you). "What she needs then, is someone to tutor her in that sort of magic, right? Someone who can help her learn how to precisely control dark and light magic, and keep them in balance. I can do that - not that, but I know who exactly can help her. That sounds like the stuff Kai was born for."

It sounded perfect, Ialo thought. The whole situation reminded him of Kai and other Silverwings. They were part angel, part demon, and part human. Their whole being was a balancing act, and it made sense that if Danni had that sort of task, then Kai would be a good role model for her.

With a step and a bound Koi landed in the clearing that was the MFHS's grounds. She yawned and her wings stretched out and folded a few times before finally resting. "Well that was fun, I haven't had to run in woods for a long while," she said to herself admiring the work the male version of herself had been able to finish before she they died. "Now where is that dragon? I wonder if he's waiting for me."

"Doubt it" Kai's voice echoed in her mind

"Shut up and go dormant again!" She giggled happily as the human's presence vanished once again.

"Kai..." Eldest dug in his mental files, then nodded. "Ah, yes, the silver-wing. Yes, I believe...I believe he could be of some use." He agreed, starting to rub his chin until he remembered the short beard he usually kept wasn't on this human form. Ah, well...

Ialo leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. He was trying to calm down, inhaling and exhaling slowly. Today had just been... insane. Just one problem after another. He really had no idea how much more he could take, or why he hadn't snapped yet.

He looked up. "Well... Kai - er, Koy is here.... Sir..." Ialo realized that he wasn't exactly sure how do address an Ancient... nor did he know Eldest's name (or that he went by Eldest). "Sir," he continued, "There are demons at this school whose jobs are to spy on Danni. What in the world am I going to do if they find her here? I don't know how likely it is, but they bring the cavalry with them?" The Headmaster would do his best to fight them off, of course, but there was only so much he could do.

Meanwhile, a nagging, unpleasant buzzing was rising in the back of his head.

Athena had been running at the fastest she could underneath Koy, the moon's beams giving her energy, and the Dust safely stored into her collar. Unfortunately, she had built up so much momentum that as she neared the school, she was not able to stop when she'd intended to, and a large dug-up area appeared. A huge dog-nose soon found itself pressed up against the very window where Ialo was talking with Eldest--by coincidence or predetermined fate, it happened.

Big red-and-purple eyes blinked, and she pulled back, leaving the disgusting dog-nose wetness all over the window. "...Hello." The single word still sounded butchered with her unadapted mouth, but it managed to come out intelligibly.

"They call me Eldest." Eldest supplied, seeing the man's confusion, and then Eldest sighed, shaking his head.

"I know of Arzol and the other two. You needn't worry about them. We have a spy there, called Dunstall. They say he was denied entrance to heaven, when really he was called upon by we, the Ancients, to act as a spy. He gave up his spot in Heaven for this cause, so Arzol shall remain clueless until we deem it otherwise." He said easily, rolling his dark eyes when he thought of the head of Hell's Guard.

"Eldest...." the Headmaster repeated, cementing the name in his mind. "Wait, what?" He looked up suddenly, and jumped. Athena's demon-canine face was grinning at him through the door window - and truthfully, that was a pretty damn creepy thing to open your eyes to. Ialo held up his finger and mouthed 'Just a moment' to her, before flicking his finger to draw the shades from across the room.

"Spies for spies, really...." He groaned. "It's my senior year all over... Oh!" Ialo stood up away from the wall. "And what about you, Eldest? Where will you be, when Danni is trying to rebuild her life back here?"

"I am everywhere, yet I am nowhere." He said cryptically, then grinned. "In other words, I'll be wherever she is, always, until this is sorted out, until she no longer needs me. But at the same time, no one will be aware of my presense...or hers." He added, patting the girl's shoulder as she slept.

".... Right." Ialo frowned slightly. He was slightly envious of Danni for a moment. So far, Eldest seemed like a lot less of an a*****e than Riser. It was a pleasant change to meet somewhat who could wipe you off the map, but didn't make a show of it.

"But she'll be in this room, right? And I can visit her? This is MY school, after all."

"As you like," He said, shrugging his shoulders.

"... What the hell happened to the universe? Things are NEVER this simple. Something must be wrong." Ialo narrowed his eyes, glaring at Eldest - not for any particular reason, just because he was there.

Whilst all this was happening, Setsuka was... busy. She needed to get to that damn Foutain, but to do so, she would need an army--and not a pathetic one. Something strong, something invincible. Something that would strike fear with a simple look, a smirk from her.

She knew where she needed to go.

Hell. Setsuka was about to go to Hell, in the very literal sense of the word. Satan, if she could convince him that helping her would help him, would be a valuable ally. And, thanks to the air ducts in this pathetic excuse for a school, she knew exactly what was needed--that Rinaldi girl. She had done her research alright. Satan would be more than happy to help her if it meant getting to that girl.

With a maniacal laugh, she viciously tore a portal into the air, ripping the flimsy space between Earth and Hell to nothingness and stepped through, an evil glare and sadistic aura keeping every demon away from this scorned woman. She went straight to Satan.

"I sense gods and taint on the school grounds ... something is up," she said confidently as she smirked looked at Athena's sloppy stop. "hey Athena your going to have to work on that a bit more." She called cheerfully waving at her to get her attention.
