Last year my BD told the whole class to name their instrument and to talk to it. Yes he was a crazy dude but he was OUR crazy dude. So, I decided to call mine Clarence. Can you guess what instrument I play? The one I play at school this year is named Jupiter because that's the name of the company that made it.
BTW one guy tried to call his trumpet John and the BD made a joke about putting his mouth all over John's mouthpiece. The guy decided to change the name to Destiny.

I never named my trumpet.....I just refer to it as trumpet and when it's in its case, I call it trumpet case....... .______." This is a strange topic..........

I haven't named my snare yet but my BF, when he played snare, named his Gregory. I named my metronome Jerald though! whee

I named my flute JIm Bob, Violins name is Vile, my oboe from school was named Joe, and the piano's name is Paul and Kim.

Ahaha, my sister named her flute Jeffrey. I got pissed because that's what I wanted to name my Alto. I decided to name it Luthor. He's a boy. My sister keeps making really perverted jokes about him though, such as, "Oh doll, just go blow on Luthor!"
My tenor, which is the school's tenor, goes by various names, including vulgar language. My personal favorite is "Stupid piece of s**t tenor." It's laquer is fading badly in alot of parts. I miss the one I used in Middle school. )': I named that one Alt-key ironically.

I'm in Color Guard and most of us name our equipment.
My rifle is named Miroku and my sabre is named Sango. People don't name their gloves, but I did... XD I named them Hikaru and Kaoru.
