Nereus So, I want to know if it will work. Maybe Mana and Miko can help me with it since... Nereus thought were interrupted by the laughter of Mana, he tilted his head towards whatever was going on between them and saw Hikari following the Goddess. Nereus follow Hikari while trying to remember what he wanted to ask to the Teru twins. Damn...can't remember. Oh well...maybe I can ask her what's wrong. "Say...Hikari. Sorry about me asking this, but what's wrong? I think I know that you and me barely met but..." He cut his sentence short for the reason of causing her relapse into an FPD outbreak. "Just remember this. If you want to talk about anything you can consider me as a friend."

Gannon…
"M...My pride..." All the Teru could do is hang his head in shame and follow the others while taking crap from Mana. "At least I ain't in the dog house alone. The crossdresser's with me." He gave Aaron a pat on the arm. "Right, buddy?" With that, he was back in his usual mood. A grin spread across his face as he sped up to catch up with the Reyvateils.

"I- what!?" Aaron jumped back from the Teru in horror. "I'm not a freaking cross-dresser! We had to do something to get outta there without being noticed... ugh... you know what? Never mind. Next time you're the one who's gonna be dressing up, buddy, no matter how ugly you are in a dress." He stormed on ahead in a foul mood before pausing. Doesn't matter now, Hikari's already pissed at me anyway, he thought. Not gonna matter much if I offer my help to Miko now or not. He turned to look at the half-Teru, who was fidgeting nervously with one of the belt loops on her outfit. "Seriously, Miko. If you're scared of heights, I'll help you. Don't sweat it." He then turned and continued on his way, blush visible on his cheeks. Why did that girl have to be so darned cute?

Gannon…
He couldn't help but laugh. He called back to where the human was. "Yeah, yer just dyin ta see me in a dress, ain't ya, prev-boy? Should I wear the same makeup you did, too?" He continued to chuckle to himself as he finally caught up with the Goddess and Hikari. "Aw, I'm sorry, Hikari. I was just hackin' on 'em. Didn't mean ta upset ya."

*~NELIA~* After entering into the Tower, the Origin had made certain the doors were sealed once again behind them, leaving only the evidence that there had been a battle, with all of the robots strewn around in pieces and smashed into the ground, and the evidence of a flashing terminal signifying that someone had recently entered into the Tower. She marveled at how the air around everyone changed so much from somber and serious to being lighthearted enough to tease and make jokes. The only one who didn't seem to be enjoying the conversation was Hikari, who had come up sulking beside Nelia before the human and Teru came up to both talk to her. The Reyvateil deemed "Goddess" would have honestly loved to be part of it, however, she didn't know how to act. She had never been able to bond with any people before, always being revered so in the Eve and wherever else she went as some holy being. She sighed, stopping beside the first elevator and entered in her access code in the terminal. The door slid open and she waited for everyone to fill in before closing the doors behind them. When she was certain that everyone had stepped inside of the elevator, she pressed a button, closing the doors behind them and allowed the elevator to take them to the next floor. When the doors opened, she stepped out and gestured for them to follow her. "We must transfer to this next elevator just a little farther down. Elevator K." She nodded and spun on her heel, her long green tresses swaying from the motion behind her before continuing to lead the way for the others.

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ Hikari had stormed off, following the Goddess. Part of her felt guilty for being so upset and the other part felt a mixture of agitation, loss, fear, and... jealousy? She hadn't felt so threatened when Gannon had offered his tail to the half-ling, but when told her that Aaron would comfort her, Hikari hit the roof. It was true, Hikari knew that she and Aaron had been drifting apart, and Hikari had gotten much closer to Gannon, but somewhere deep down, it hurt to make a clean break from it. Hikari hadn't gotten over it. Why had Aaron befriended her that long ago? It had only been to get into her Cosmosphere to continue with his mission. But then why did he seem to care so much now? It wasn't fair. Maybe Hikari wouldn't have felt so confused now if Aaron had stayed out of her life. She wanted to get to know Gannon more but now with Aaron here she felt scared, as if the Teru was going to do the same thing that the human had done to her. This isn't fair... He leaves when I need him most and shows up when I finally thought I was able to go on without him only to hurt me again. Why...?
Nereus had approached her within this time and asked her if she was okay, startling her out of her troubling thoughts. "Oh! Y-yeah..." She answered him. When he had told her he was there for her, she smiled back at him. "Of course. I already think of you as my friend! I feel like I've known you my whole life! Weird that we only met a few days ago though, huh?" She said with a nervous laugh. "But really, don't worry about me." She glared back at Aaron once more for good measure. Just forget it. Forget it! "Thank you, Nereus. I'm really happy you came along to help me! If there's ever anything I can do for you, all you need to do is ask!" Just then, Nelia stopped and waited for everyone else to catch up.
Gannon by this time had caught up with Hikari and apologized, explaining he'd only been teasing them. Hikari cast a dark glance once again back at Aaron, who of course, had come up close to Miko and started talking with her. When he walked away from the half-Teru, Hikari noticed a blush on his cheeks and she quickly averted her gaze, feeling even worse. "Really, don't worry about it, Gannon," she muttered, ashamed of herself for still feeling the way she did. "I wasn't upset at you and I shouldn't have taken it out on you." She clasped her hands together in front of her chest; she noticed that it had become of a habit of hers when she was upset to do that, and sighed. "It just reminded me of some things was all."
When they stepped into the elevator and the doors closed around her, she shivered and clasped onto the Teru's arm, probably too tight for his comfort, burying her face into his side. This cramped, dark, cold, enclosed space reminded her too much of the damp rooms in the CPG labs where she'd been held for most of her life and it terrified her to the point of being unable to breathe.
When the elevator came to a stop and the doors opened, Hikari let go of the Teru and staggered out immediately behind Nelia, gasping for air. "Sorry," she managed, smiling wanly at the Teru. "I didn't mean to do that. I wasn't expecting it to be... never mind." When Nelia announced that they were going to another elevator, Hikari paled considerably but steeled herself for what lay ahead. She couldn't allow herself to chicken out now. Nelia needed them. Melody needed them. The world needed them.My Song is a Shining Light

Miko~

"Wha-what did you say, Gannon?" Miko asked incredulously. "No, I'm really okay, why would I want to hold on to your tail of all things?" She bit back. "I'd be a goner for sure!" When he mentioned Aaron cross-dressing and then offered his services to comfort her she wrinkled her nose. "Doesn't he have some say in this? And something tells me you're not telling the whole story, Gannon." She shook her head and sighed. "I'm staying out of this."
When Aaron came up to her and offered to help, she allowed a small smile to touch her lips. "Thank you. I just might take you up on that."

--Aaron Leon Cecil--
"What the hell man!? Why would I want to even imagine your ugly mug in something like that? You tryin' to make me sick!?" Aaron shuddered as a mental image attempted to form in his brain but luckily he managed to block it from coming to fruition. When Gannon left to catch up to his sister, he ran a hand through his hair and stared off into space as he walked. He wondered what was going to happen when they got up to the Teru city.
Aaron had actually never been there before, as humans generally were unwelcome there, especially those of the CPG. Not to mention, he never much liked Teru, anyway. They seemed too stuck up. Even Gannon appeared to have some form of dislike or distrust for Aaron, though then again he seemed to be that way with every other male he came across, too. No wonder Mana hates them so much, he mused to himself. A little bit of that attitude goes a long way. If every other Teru up there is like him... He cringed at that thought.
When Nelia herded them into the elevator, he watched his sister and the Teru, biting his tongue to stop him from saying anything for a few reasons actually:
One, Hikari was still obviously angry with him over what Gannon had said and would likely get defensive and snap at him.
Two, Gannon wouldn't listen and tell him to buzz off.
Three, he understood that Hikari hated enclosed areas like that and he couldn't blame her. He watched for years the treatment that she'd been given. She'd undergone many more tests than the average FPD and many more installs. He couldn't fathom the nightmares it caused and the irreparable damage done to her Cosmosphere because of it. And... if Gannon could ease her fears, just a little bit, then who was Aaron to take that away?
When they got out, he just sighed and continued to follow Nelia without another word to anyone.

~*Rinna*~ When Gannon and Aaron were arguing back and forth about cross-dressing, a picture formed in Rinna's innocent and unwilling mind. First, an image of Aaron in a dress...

And then, respectively, Gannon.

"Gah! My eyes! My mind! My precious Cosmosphere!" She screeched out and started crying and running in circles once they got off the elevator. She turned around and stared hard at both men once more before sniffling and wailing. "They're both butt-ugly!"

Gannon…
As they stood in the elevator, Gannon couldn't help but notice Hikari cringe. Realization dawned on him. It was the same thing... Being trapped in a confined space like this... He instantly sympathized with the Reyvateil. But, before he could say anything to her, the ride was over and they were heading to the next elevator. "Hikari... I..." He was cut off by a sudden outburst from the newest member of their group. "B-butt ugly? Well, that's a first..." He turned to Aaron, wondering what the hell was going on, he seemed just as taken back as Gannon. "Maybe we broke her...?" The Teru shrugged and continued on his way.

The human scratched the back of his head and watched the crazed Reyvateil with a completely bewildered expression before giving a roll of his eyes and walking away. "Don't know. Don't wanna know. Probably some kinda virus or something."

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ Gannon looked like he was about to say something to Hikari but when Rinna started panicking over something, it was soon forgotten and worry for the young girl took over the situation. "Oh, Rinna, are you all right?" Hikari asked with a worried frown, rushing over to check on the other Reyvateil. "If you need, I can sing some Song Magic," she offered, putting a comforting hand on Rinna's shoulder. My Song is a Shining Light

~*Rinna*~ She dramatically covered her eyes with the palms of her hands and cried out, "I just thought of something totally not right and unnatural! I've seen something that shouldn't have been seen that can't be unseen!" She pointed to both Gannon and Aaron. "You two!" She commanded. "As of this very moment, both of you are forbidden to wear or even speak of wearing female clothing and/or accessories!" She announced, voice ringing and echoing throughout the cold walls of the lonely interior of the Tower.

Gannon…
"Great... Way ta go, Aaron! Now I can't wear that silky little number I picked up back in Behdla. Way ta ruin my fun! Guess I'll just have ta give it ta Mana 'er somethin." The Teru gave Rinna a wink as he spoke. They had definitely caused the young Reyvateil some psychological harm and he had no intention of stopping now. "Oh well... Maybe there was just TOO much lace on that, anyways..." He let out a dramatic sigh and rested one of his hands on his cheek, striking a feminine pose.

Rhaplanca After rushing to the tower the two had witnessed the remnants of a battle. Scrapped tower guardians littered the ground. Slightly scorched land was a dead giveaway for song magic being used.
Rhaplanca sighed, grateful and relieved, "Looks like who ever it was made it out okay," she walked up to the tower confidently and inspected it with a hand held out, "Someone's... been through here," she spoke with wonder. Maybe it wasn't they're group, after all how would they gain access to the tower? "[I implore you, as her daughter and servant, open in the name of NELIA_ANSUL_SOL=FA]," Rhaplanca spoke in Hymmnos. The door immediately responded, "Let's go," all of a sudden she seemed protective and to have a need to get to the bottom of this.Ishira
"Right," Ishira followed, a little surprised at Rhaplanca's resolve, "Where to?" he walked briskly behind her.Rhaplanca glanced back and forth between a set of elevators, she noticed one was not readily available to enter from this floor.
"Someone must have used this one," she mumbled in wonder and reached out to activate the panel to bring the elevator back down to them. Once the doors opened she wasted no time entering.Ishira was growing concerned despite Rhaplanca's bravery, "Maybe we should hang back a bit," he followed behind her quickly, "We're not sure who's on the other side right? And with what they did to all those tower guardians, if it's not our friends, I'm not too thrilled with running in to them," he positioned himself in front of her and the door and readied his weapon, "Stay behind me until the coast is clear," he braced himself.Rhaplanca felt immediately guilty for rushing in. She was too curious for her own good. There was a good chance whoever came through here wasn't they're group unless they found another to open tower entrances. A tiny pang of jealousy hit.
What if they did and left us for dead? Rhaplanca held her breath anxiously as the elevator slowed, "I am sorry. Just know what ever happens I have your back," she reassured and prepared to sing if need be. And then the doors opened...
