Gannon gave Hikari a nod and grinned. "Hey, I'm yer Vanguard, ain't I? And 'sides, I've never really been one ta say no to a pretty face." He stood and turned back to Nelia. "Well, sounds like if we don't do somethin', we're all gonna go down anyways, so why not?" He glanced at the group behind them. The Twins. Ina, Nereus, Aaron, and Rinna. "Whadaya say? Y'all in, too?"

Nereus Who would of thought that in mere seconds Nel, the mint colored hair Reyvateil, the one who I gave a Tranquility was Nelia the Goddess. Nereus just look up at the sky with a breeze hitting his face as he smile, he then heard Gannon and responded. "If there is anything that I can help, even if it's small, I join for in the end it'll be for the greater good."

When his younger sister had collapsed to the ground in front of the Goddess before them, begging forgiveness and pledging to atone and give up her life if necessary, it was all Aaron could do to hold his tongue. He would have gone to her himself but Gannon had beat him to it, again.
Gannon had been beating him to a lot of things lately though, hadn't he? Aaron didn't know if it was a good or a bad thing but in the end he supposed it couldn't be helped.
He sighed in relief when the Goddess had, instead of demanding Hikari's life, she asked them for help. Sure, it was a little unsettling to hear that just about any time now, the world of Fa Ciel could crumble beneath their feet into the hellish depths of the Sea of Death, but he at least had hope as long as his only family was still among the living.
It was when Hikari pledged to do whatever it took, even at the cost of her life once again, that he spoke up, ruffling her hair somewhat playfully. "Hey, Kari, stop trying so hard to die, okay? I think you'll be of more help to the Lady Nelia, and everybody else, if you're alive more than if you're dead." He grinned at her, showing that he was no longer angry. He turned to the Legendary Reyvateil before him and crossed an arm over his heart. "I'm not totally guiltless in this, myself. Years ago, I was acquainted with those humans who attacked you. Up until this point, I was acting as your Vanguard. If it will clear Hikari of her debt to you any faster, and for my own atonement, please allow me to continue to protect you, Lady Nelia."

Miko~
The Goddess of legends and folklore is standing before me! Miko mentally screamed. What do I say? What do I do? Her sister then chose that very moment to open her mouth and start joking in very bad taste, and Miko face-palmed. She remained quiet, at a loss for words and still completely in shocked awe. She finally recovered when her sister started in again, telling Gannon that he was acting too stuffy. "Mana! What'd you expect him, or anyone else to say!?" She shook her head and shook a finger at her sister in a scolding fashion. "Do you know how rude you're being to Nelia-sama right now?"
When the Origin explained the situation and that she was willing to forgive Hikari for the attack against her as long as she helped in saving the world, Miko swallowed hard. "I don't possibly know what I could do to help you," she admitted to the Legendary Goddess that stood before her, "but, if there is a chance that my powers could be of use to you, then I would be most honored to fight beside you, Milady," she murmured.

"You too, Sis? Good grief! Ya know, I didn't see you guys acting this stiff around little Nel until she showed you this side o'her." Mana shrugged and turned to face Nelia. "You don't mind if I still call you Nel, right?" She grinned at the emerald-haired Reyvateil. "And since I got nothin' better to do at the moment, I suppose I'll tag along in this wild goose chase. After all, you did me a favor by not pickin' a fight with my little bud, Hikari over there, so I suppose you can't be all bad." She shrugged. "It could be fun, anyways."

 The Reyvateil hit a switch on her bracelet that would send a pre-coded message to the men stationed outside the Inn. On her command, the soldiers burst through the doors and stormed the building. She knew the sound of the men going through the Inn would travel down into the tunnels, flushing her prey toward her.

Gannon…
Gannon turned back to the Goddess. "If you'll let us, we need to get back to Ce Palym. A friend is in danger, and if we can take the tower up, it will allow us to get ahead of the C.P.G. We'll be able to get her out of there before they even show up."

"I can take you there," she said with a nod. "However, we must make haste for I do not have much time." She could feel her consciousness beginning to slip away. Apparently she was not at full strength yet. Nelia paused, casting a glance back to the others as a silent hint for them to follow her. She stepped through the doorway and into the Tower. "From here, we must walk to the elevator, take that one to J, and then transfer to K. That will bring us just under the city of Ce Palym. From there we will be able to climb a short distance and should be there within minutes."

"Oh, no..." Miko's stomach lurched at the thought of it. "Don't tell me we're taking the same way we did when we went down with Rhaplanca to rescue Hikari..." Miko groaned. "I hate heights!" She slumped her shoulders and sighed. "Well, I guess we don't have a choice..."

The Teru nodded as he committed the way to memory. He followed the Goddess through the tower toward the elevator shaft. He couldn't help but feel worried about Melody, but with this shortcut, they should arrive well ahead of the C.P.G. He tried to put it out of his mind for the moment. "Aw, c'mon Miko. It ain't that bad. If yer scared, I'll let ya hold onta my tail." He raised his tail toward the half-breed. "Or would ya rather Aaron over there comfort ya?" He chuckled as he continued on his way.

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ "Really? Climbing? I can't wait!" Hikari gushed excitedly, following Nelia. "I want to get as far up as possible and then stare right down into the Sea of Death! Isn't it amazing?" Just then, Gannon spoke up, offering his tail to comfort the younger twin, and then mentioning Aaron and Hikari froze and stiffened. She turned her gaze on the Teru, colder than any ice-magic he could conjure up. "...Oh, really... So that's how it is, is it?" She shifted her glare to Aaron before clenching her fists and storming off after the Goddess, obviously miffed.My Song is a Shining Light

"Wait...what?" The Teru had been taken by surprise by Hikari's reaction. He reached out to try and keep her from marching off, but the vibe she was giving off was worse than any monster he'd come up against. Was Hikari...Jealous? Oh man... If she reacts like that to a joke, I am so screwed... "Well... Doesn't that just beat all?"

First Hikari turned on Gannon for his comment, and then Aaron himself got the death glare. "Wh-what the hell did I do to deserve this!?" He sputtered. "Gannon! This is all your fault!" He snapped. "I'm not comforting anybody!" He protested, trying to get Hikari to look his way again. "Ugh, why me?"

Mana, who had been watching the entire scene fold out before her started laughing. It was honestly better than any comedy she'd seen as a kid done in a theater. She darn near busted a gut on it. Wiping a tear from her eye, she called over to Gannon. "Good thing we're heading to Ce Palym next, eh? I'm pretty good friends with the carpenter there, so he could cut you a deal on a dog house. Looks like you'll be needing one pretty badly there, Bud."

~*Rinna*~ "I don't really get what's going on here, but if you guys don't stop playing around, Lady Nelia and I are going to leave you behind," Rinna said, pointing to the Origin who was already a ways ahead of them, standing at the elevator, waiting for them so they could take it to the J floor elevator.
