Ialo nodded, and focused. His magic, energy, aura, signature, whatever one chose to call it, collected in his hand. It was blue. Not visibly blue, but nonetheless it evoked images of endless water, a long and curved horizon, and a deep blue sky with low misty clouds and stars visible beyond. That was not Ialo's intention, but that was who he was. There were spots of darkness and light, naturally, but the energy was undeniably that of Ialo's.

Gradually Danni's body relaxed, and a slow, hesitant smile came to her face. "I won't let you down. Anything you want, anything you need...I'll do my best to give it to you...Headmaster. You work so hard for me, for all of us..." She smiled wider now, spreading her palm against his.
"You worry so much, so I'll work on my control so you won't worry. I'll make you proud, you won't regret taking me in. I swear to you." She said, grinning reassuringly before her face slowly blanked once more.

Ialo was still for a moment, not knowing what to do. Danni... Danni was really back, he realized, even if she didn't know she was.
He tugged on her hand and pulled her into an embrace. He hugged her, and kept his arms wrapped around her shoulders for several minutes. "... I thought I lost you," the Headmaster finally choked out. His voice broke slightly, there were tears on his cheeks. "You saved me - your note woke me up..." He was shaking, too scared to let Danni go in case he lost her again, lost another student, another person. "I wanted to thank you, but you were gone..."

For just a moment, a small light shined in Danni Rinaldi's soul, and it burst out for a split second, snapping free of Eldest's control so that he staggered back a bit as Danni's arms wrapped around Ialo.
"All you have to do is call, and I'll return. All you ever had to do was ask and I'd have slayed all your demons for you if it was within my power. You were a light in the dark, and my port in the storms that I could never face alone. You saved me and you didn't even know it, so don't be sad. I lived the way I chose because you made it possible for me to do so. I worked hard to better myself, because I wanted to be like you. I owe you everything, everything I have, everything I am. If you wish for me to live, then I shall do so, because you asked for it. I'm always in your debt, Headmaster. The dragon who put me on his back and showed me the world." She smiled at him, her eyes shining with gratitude, with love, with sorrow, and then even that moment was gone, and she was just a soul trapped inside a shell once more.
On the other side of the bed, Eldest let out a breath, flexed his hands. "She...Her soul came out from under my control...She really...Feels something for you, so many feelings mixed together you can't even seperate them anymore." He shook his head, ran a hand through his hair.

Ialo listened with bleary hazel eyes, never once letting go of the girl. "Oh, Danni..." He felt her soul shine, and then fade away again, and that was when he completely broke down.
"No more," he sobbed. "Please, no more. I can't... I can't seeing you so faded.... Come back..." His whole body trembled with ragged breaths, and his tears were beginning to dampen Danni's hair and shoulder. "Please come back... I need you to come back..."
He needed her to come back so badly. Ialo had lost too many friends, all of their deaths his fault. He never did anything to try and save them - but he would not ******** up again. He would not let another one get away. He would not let another student, a child, go the way that his peers had gone - because all the students Ialo knew when he went to MFHS, save for Kai, they were all dead or gone.
"I won't let you get hurt again!" Ialo continued to cry, unaware if Danni was still there, listening to him, or if he was simply scaring Addie. "Please..."

Ialo was crying. Headmaster was crying. Somewhere deep down, she realized this, beneath the empty shell that had become her body, and the part of her soul that had been beneath the vulnerability, scared into hiding, reared up.
With a violent snap that had Eldest reeling, her soul broke free, and a fire of rage lit up her eyes, her mouth working into a scowl.
"Who the hell made him cry? Tell me who it was, and I'll turn them into a frigging boiled toad so fast they won't know what hit 'em." She squeezed Ialo's shoulder in support, running on clueless adrenaline. Leaping to her feet, she began stalking around, hissing out a breath.
It seemed to hit her all at once then, and she stopped dead. She let out a helpless sound, standing in the middle of the room, before memories baraded her and brought her to her knees.
"Too much, too much. Stop it! Stop, stop! What is this? Why am I here? Why aren't I dead? STOP!" She clutched at her head, let out a choked sob as memories, feelings too strong for a young girl to have assaulted her.
"I was afraid of this," Eldest murmured, and knew he would only be able to stand by now. She'd either stand or break on her own. It was all up to her.

Ialo gasped when Danni jumped up, surprised that she had returned again, so surprised that she was back, threatening to toadify someone for his sake.
"Danni, wait!" he shouted. Ialo dashed forward to help her. He had no idea what was going on, but he guessed it had something to do with her memories. "It's alright, I'm here!" He reached for her and just like a few seconds ago, he held her in a tight hug, frantically smoothing her hair out where she was clutching her head - instead, he tried to force her to hold onto him instead.
"Danni, Danni," he repeated, turning it into a mantra and trying to soothe her. "Please, just... just come back and focus on me! Please..." What was it she had called him?
"Your light in the dark," Ialo quoted her softly. "Your port in the storm. Please calm down, Danni. I'm right here. I'm not going to lose you again. I'm right here.... You're because I love you, Danni... I love you..."

"Ok, Bye cutey ... I mean Ialo!" Koi corrected herself but he was well out of sight before she finished what she wanted to say. She shrugged and looked up to Athena, "So your a Yokai? Hmm haven't seen one recently." She shrugged as her flat wings twitched on her back, It was obvious she was ready to dash after the dragon Ialo at any second. "anyways interesting day don't you think? Zombies and explosions."

Danni looked up at Ialo with tortured eyes as death and blood ran through her mind. She gripped the front of his shirt, staring up at him in desperation. "Help me, make it stop! Make it go away! No more blood, no more death, no more prophecies! I don't understand, I'm not Addie! I'm not Addie Harper. I'm...Danni." Her face cleared as she made the realization. The dreams had been her life, all of the dreams.
Her eyes filled with tears, and her hands gripped Ialo closer. "I'm Danni Rinaldi, I'm Danni..." She sank down so she was leaning over his lap, her head bowed as she let the tears fall.
"I'm Danni Rinaldi."

((Also, Silver, Secret is out of town for a few days, so you totally have permission to move ahead.))
Ialo gazed into Danni's eyes, so utterly fearful - both of them, he would realize later: he was scared for her. The Headmaster pulled her up when she sank down. He refused to see her fall. She was too young to fall. She... She had three fathers, and he was one of them.
"Danni..." No. He would let her cry. So, Ialo gently redirected her back to the bed, and forced her to sit down on the edge like before. There were no tissues within reach, but he could quite literally, give her his shirt. Ialo tugged at end of the long sleeves, and brushed away the watery offenders on Danni's face.
"Yes, you are Danni Rinaldi," he said gently. "You're a lot of things. A teenager, a student..." Ialo rubbed her back, wondering if he could will the sadness out of her. "Shhh, Danni. I'm here, and I won't let anyone hurt you again..." What a sight they both were, tear-stained messes. "You're Danni, and I love you. After all, how many girls get three fathers?"

Danni let him dry her tears, and though the memories, both the grusome and the precious, continued to press into her brain, she gritted her teeth to keep herself in check. She was back, she thought, for better or for worse. Yet still she took the comfort offered.
"Foster children." She replied absently to his question, and then blinked, as though not believing that had come from her mouth. It had been a long time since she'd used the fine art of sarcasm, and she realized she'd missed it...probably.
However, she blinked again, and she realized just what she'd done to the man who was comforting her now. So selfish, she mused, so completely selfish.
"H-Headmaster, I...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It wasn't supposed to hurt you. It wasn't supposed to hurt anyone. It was supposed to make things better...I'm sorry." She raised her hands helplessly, scrubbing at her eyes with her knuckles like a tired child.

Ialo blinked, and slapped her in the back of the head. As fast as he had been to break down, the corner of his mouth was twitching. "Foster children don't get to pick," he corrected her. "But never mind that." He sat down right next to her, and smoothed out her hair. His own tears were still running freely. Her suicide had been ripping up his nerves for a week.
He squeezed her shoulders. "Taking life is never the answer, no matter whether it's your own or not. You don't know how much you're loved, do you...? Even Ophiuchus saved you once, and he barely knew you. He's not even Christian."

(ok thanks for the heads up!)
Without waiting for an answer Koi looked towards where Ialo had flown off too. The mystic fountain? Why that was nay even a 15 minute run from A to B for her. Why was riser and Ialo's brother preparing transportation? ... On second thought why was she even waiting? Athena could easily keep up with her, and with that Koi took a single soundless step forward and disappeared into a blur of gold, the only indication of where Koi was, was the line of freaks that had fallen to pieces as she passed.
X however had no quarrel with staying behind, he had more then a day to leave and population of freaks dwindling by the second.

"How much I'm loved? I know people love me. I mean, Cook does most of the time, and Ambrose tries. I just tended to make their lives miserable most of the because I couldn't-can't-be what they need me to be. As long as I was alive, their life expectancies were cut in half because of who I am. There was a price on my head, so I just took it myself before anyone could get hurt. I wouldn't bring that sort of trouble here, not at your school." She said, deliberating only for a moment before she used her palms to brush away the Headmaster's tears. She'd comfort him if she had to, the way he was still trying to comfort her.
