Keno watched as Ichi was approaching the boy, blade in hand. He heard Epithany's words, and once again seemed rather unmoved. Her frustration wasn't without reason. The problem wasn't that he didn't value human life, but he didn't expect her to grasp the concept of his perspective. "Afterall, value is a matter of perspective. Some lives are more valuable than others. That's why some are blessed to die and others are cursed to be killed."

Keno nodded at Unks. He once again barely seemed to care. He had been judged before. None of these reactions were new. "Indeed it is, but don't think too lowly of me or Ichigo if you can help it."

*Seth appears about 8 feet away directly in front of Unks, Masamune already drawn. He charges his demonic energy to a level suitable for combat just in case Unks tried anything.*

Ichi stood up quietly. So many people were getting into this. Ichi hated the fact of people telling her not to kill him, to kill him, the human life. Humans. What did they mean to her? There were a few in the town she lived in before. Although it was a little hard to hide her ears and tail, she always had to wear a hat and a long coat or skirt. Her tail did pop out of her skirt, and the wind blew her hat off. Kids thre stones at her, making fun of her abnormalness. Ichi hands clenched into fists, her long nails digging into her skin. She bit her tongue and ran at the boy and jumped. Her foot aiming for his throat.

What did the growing audience expect? Perhaps they thought Keno would be satisfied with this. Maybe he would smile? Smirk that sadistically arrogant grin that ticked off so many. No. He watched as stone solid as he had been. Being stripped of a weapon didn't even stop her in her pursuit and for that he was proud. But clearly this was an indicator that humans didn't value Ichi as much as Epithany valued humans. There was utter malice in this attack, completely separate from the need to feed. What had humans done to her he wondered. Now she just had to finish the job...

The job she never began it seemed. Seth had interfered, stripping Ichi of her first kill. Keno was ipset about this, but nevertheless, simply stood, awaiting Ichi to react. But as he waited he glanced at Seth. "She may not mind, but I do. Next time, let her do it or she'll never learn independence. Surely you understand the disappointment one feels when his kill is taken from him.."
