This UK heatwave is really kicking me and my PCs a**, I have to keep a fan on my laptop otherwise it overheats in seconds.
The vents keep spewing out near molten temp air, CPU and GPU stressing at +140f+60C.
To the point that the screen just freezes if the work becomes too much, deffo gonna have to upgrade my rig later this year, this bad boy is taking a beating rn.

I'm gonna try to finish Mafia remastered tonight, so close to the end now.

Hope the day is good to all and air conditioning is available! heart

The berry picking went pretty good! Well there was a ton of biting bugs and a small bear ran like a bat outta hell thru the blueberry patch and mom just kept picking lol. the lady running said he's a yearling that she didn't think the mother still kept with it. just like.. "oh ya he's been running around ppls farms lately the lil scamp" lol.. otay.. so i'm lucky i wasn't a happy meal for a mom bear today i feel but still cute place. called friendly goat fruit farm lol. they also have blackberries like a bucket for 35 bux but she picks those herself. the buckets of blueberries were like 13 bux a bucket. was a good deal. they were almost too ripe tho. rly thin skinned sweet blueberries but weren't gonna keep long so they went straight in the freezer!

howdy fairy and aaron and everyone! enjoy mafia aaron and holy crap the humidity be killing me here this week. hang in there with the heat! and yes i have a window ac and i love it so very much!

ya we were pretty excited! we got a buncha peaches and nectarines cut up and frozen too. we gotta get some sweet taters boiled to peel chopped n canned.. and we got wild raspberries growing outside now startin to pop! we gonna need a bigger freezer.. or .. cuz we aint made a money.. gonna have to go thru freezer and see whats freezer burned in bottom and trash hopefully only a few things for the chicken order next month..

very lucky to be in a place with good food options and to be able to freeze it. but rly.. i most enjoyed talking to the goats lol.. the bugs bout ate me a freaking alive while picking. but proud! they all frozen safe today!

mornin all! dark out. lil rain here n there. i think moms got me off the hook to not work after pulling off a double shift yesterday lol..

OH we got her heart cath exploratory scheduled next tuesday 730 am.. i hope they can get her patched up w/e needs done. I can tell she's slowed down and lost stamina so its time for some management. my last filling and her last crown is next week too. so least things will catch up soon..

oh and i never did post the pics of the cows that infiltrated my yard from next door last week lol.. here y a go! it was a trip to look outside kitchen window and see a bull 2 feet away from you.. burning_eyes super tame tho thank goodness. owners led them home with a rattling food bucket hours later lol

Lol the bear thing, I love the meme that's currently going around about white women and bears, for some reason they just sorta exist near each other without getting violent lol, some of the vids are crazy like a lady just chatting to a black bear on her porch xp
That's a damn good price on the blueberries tbf, with this weather being so hot they are better frozen even just to eat.

Imma huddle a fan and play Mafia 2 because ngl I really enjoyed playing the first one, not my ususal genre but the story was so compelling it had me totally hooked, deffo recommend it while it's on sale.

ew sorry bout the mosquitos. they were everwhar at that berry farm! and ya the bull brushing by bro's truck was a nervous moment cuz i mean he could take out a mirror just scratchin his head.. but they got by without dmg.. and ya the goats were so cute. the old guy reminds me of gandolf..

its so humid i need gills. the temps arent in 90s but the air is steam.. and mom couldn't leave the weeds alone near frog ponds.. she weed eated them and we found out one had drained half out but she only broke a piece in side of pool halfway up so at least most of em were still in there ok but rly in need of clean up and fresh water. all 3 ponds have gotten muddy algae and gross. we went and bought 3 new pools yesterday and we've got half of em moved over in clean water and put fresh water in all the pools but its too hot out. we covered em mostly over and will hit it again tonite likely.. probably spent a day per pond.. gotta be done. some are getting lil legs so had to blanch some spinach and toss in.

gonna do some crock pot chicken out on porch and some taters in another crock pot on the other porch. cuz fook the heat and we'll have food lol.

and ya.. mom is too used to bears.. or rather.. too addicted to blueberries she was rdy to throw down rather than leave the berry pickin rofl

enjoy mafia 2! i keep wanting to play sims.. the nature expansion out atm is awesome! imma get it next month b4 the dlc for getting it first month out expires. they have 3 worlds in one xpac and one is a world of gnomes and gnome architecture.. TAKE MAH MONEY!..but im addicted to my wows and gotta lvl that fookin panda and get that dang recipe so eff having fun.. i got work to do lol

So it turns our we have what is called a "heat domb" over the UK that is making it 32c/90f sometimes, I am struggling to even function lmao.
Got a fan on me at all times and enough diet pepsi to fill Lake Superior.

Aww lil refresh for the froggies, probably the best time for it before it gets hotter and things that grow in water decide to hit turbo whee

Omg I had to go through the files fo Mafia 2 myself and delete all the spyware that 2k added to the game, it basically scans your PC and reports back cookies, internet usage and a bunch of sensitive stuff.
Cut that crap out and severed the games ability to go online, now I can enjoy the game in peace, hasn't crashed since I did that too.

hi ya'll! and that sux aaron that's what we had a couple weeks ago over us was that heat dome. it got to where we couldn't really go out day or night which we have some air conditioning at least in a couple rooms we just closed off spare rooms to get it tolerable. it was soooo damn humid under it was the hardest part. the heat was bad. but trapping steam.. not good.. it broke after about 5 days when it finally just dumped rain. I hope its over for u soon too!

sux bout the spyware.. gtav has that friggin kernel lvl anticheat that watches everything i do when its running.. not technically spyware i guess if i let it be there but stinks anyway..

bro got to come home! and omg yesterday evening we went to check frog ponds and a big snake skin was in it. mom raked around with garden hand rake and had to take on a black water mocassin or otherwise known as cottonmouth snake. venemous lil bish. bout 3 feet long hiding in ponds and striking at us woudlnt run away.. its gone now.. but blugh not fun.. and i hate having to get rid of critters even if it was poisonous. but.. fook that guy he coulda sent us to the hospital not to mention he bound to be full of frogs..

welp.. with that .. have a happy saturday lol. lets get some catwalk!

Omg this heatwave is beating me up, I woke up at 1.30pm today and now I feel like it's wasted, had plans to do the shop for the house but now I'm like meh.
Today is kind of an entire write off now, missed my timing to shave my face so now imma look like a gremlin all day sweatdrop

Checkin in earlier because I'm probably gonna stew in the shade being kinda mad at myself the rest of the day lol.

That sucks ryd with the anti-cheat, anything added on top of a game that also has to run just takes up more of your PCs power on things that aren't making the game run good.

Headachy from the humidity, I'm gonna surround myself with icy things now.
