Hmm...I've been reviewing some of the new features for guilds, and I've came apon these: biggrin The ability to advertise in the registered guilds section.

The GGN FAQ Q: Where do posts go when deleted? A: Posts are removed from the view, but they still exist. Gaia moderators can review them for evidence. Guild users do not have access to deleted posts. Q: Where do topics go when deleted? A: They go to a hidden guild that Gaia moderators can review for evidence. Guild users do not have access to deleted topics.

The GGN FAQ Q: How can I transfer ownership of my guild to another user? A: The Captain or Vice-Captain (note the italics, as this will be important later) of a guild can appoint a new guild Captain at any time through the captain moderation controls. Q: The captain of my guild got banned/quit Gaia, but there is no Vice Captain. Can a moderator change ownership of the guild to a different user? A: No. This was the reason Guild Captains are now able to create Vice Captains. If a guild captain wishes to ensure that their guild will continue to have a captain should something happen to them or their account, they will need to appoint a Vice Captain who can carry on in their stead should something happen. Q:I don't want my guild to show up my guild member's profiles! Is there a way for me to do that? A: Yes. There is an option in the Captain's guild controls under 'edit guild settings' to "Hide from Registry". Having a Vice Captain that can change ownership ensures that the guild can live on. You don't need to have a Vice Captain, but its a good way to ensure you'll never get stuck without a Captain.

I think we should hold a guild vote of all the mods and Vyce will have like we say in french 'le droit de veto', which basically means the last decissions. This way, we'll have a guild elected vice-cap'n.
Well, my two cents.
And when will the results for the art contest be in?

Yeah, maybe each mod should nominate 2-3 people whom he/she thinks is most qualified, and in order to get to the Vycie-sama-decision level, each person must have a certain number of nominations.
I would nominate:
Koiyuki, as he restarted the guild when the first one was closed.
Oni-Angel, as she is generally helpful around the guild, responsible, etc. Plus, she's, like, our official mascot for teh bewbehs. xp
I don't really know Ruby that well, and so that's why I'm not nominating her. So ya.

So ya. You don't know me cause I'm a behind-the-scenes kind of girl. I like to take care of the itty bitty tedious details and other things, I don't enjoy patrolling the threads so much. I'd only make a good 'second banana' if you all didn't mind a hard a** law enforcer and wouldn't mind some periods of absence but I wont deny that I wouldn't mind it one bit. Anyways, I'd go with Koi because he shows a lot of dedication and initiative towards the guild. I'll have to think about my second choice.

I'm going to clean up the threads a bit and delete the ones that can be trashed either because they are inactive because they are irrelevant to the guild now or just dead and useless.
edit: Actually, I didn't do much. It's no use trying to sort through it all because there's always some info we want to keep. Meh, I'm a organisation freak when it comes to this sort of thing. -sigh-
