"Well, not all of them are like this." His paw was slightly shaking, but he held back most of it. He wasn't sure if it was because his paw was up in the air for a while now, or it was because he was afraid it was poisonous and didn't want it to bite anyone.

He was rather calm. How could he do that? “I think we should let it go now, it could be getting angry.” She said in a small voice, so that she wouldn’t irritate it. “We could do something else, now that I know what a snake is, and what it looks like.” The snake was still staring. Didn’t it ever blink?

He nodded in agreeing with her. It seemed like a great idea. "Yeah. Might as well do something else now." He quickly, yet slowly put the snake back down and put some leaves over it as if they had never disturbed it at all. " Ready?" He asked her "Captain." He added with a smile.

He had put it down and was smiling. He called her captain. She tilted her head to the side and uttered a small, “huh?” She was confused, when she remembered that they had made a bet. “Right! I am ready!” She grinned and started off in a random direction, making sure it was as far from the snake as possible.

"Were are we off to now?" He asked her in an attentive way. He looked at her with a stern look as if under a command to stand still ready to obey any words she gave him. He bobbed his tail back and forth smiling down at the young Ulaya.

She trotted along, answering his question in a tone that she found to be very commanding. “I have no idea. We will go any way I want, okay?” She looked out of the corner of her eye to see if he would follow her orders. She would figure out where they were going, eventually.

He gave her a salute. "I, I captain!" He sat there and waited for her to give him any other commands. Paw still up at his head and standing straight. Even his tail was still this time.

He was still, like a statue. Giving him a critical once over to make sure he was completely still, she nodded her head. “Then follow me!” She turned her back to him and started strutting through the foliage. She was gonna go where the wind took her!

He didn't ask any questions and started following her again. This day had become one of the longest days he could remember, but it seemed really fun. He didn't know when the last time he had this much fun. His tail wagged back and forth again. He felt like he was also a kit, though, just really tall for one. "I, I captain." He said with a smile.

Ambrosia stomped her way through the forest, peeking back once or twice to make sure he was still following. Her tail wagged back and forth, making a light breeze behind her. She was grinning and she was very relaxed. The sounds of her surroundings were peaceful, a bird would chirp or the wind would make the leaves on the trees rustle. The best-est day ever!

He continued to follow, but he was trailing behind just a bit. Not wanting to waste the rest of his energy. The adventure they had been had began to ware him out. He didn't show it though, besides slowing down just a bit. Giving a few steps between the two.

He was slowing down, she could tell. She slowed down also, so that she walked right in front of him. Because really, why should she walk so fast? This adventure would last a while. Or maybe not. She was getting tired as well.

He didn't notice totally that she had slowed either. Until he realized she was back right in front of him. He looked about to see where they were, but he couldn't really tell if he'd been here or not. Well, at least he didn't think he'd been this particular way.

Looking over her shoulder at him, she noticed him looking around. This prompted her to also look at her surroundings. She hadn’t been around here before, and she was getting kind of tired. Might be the perfect time to rest. She thought with a nod. They were both tired probably.

Hakim slowed down even more, almost to a slow walk. It seemed they both were tired. He did a stretch, while he continued to walk. Though, he wasn't sleepy. The sun seemed to be setting though, just the beginning of a set. The sky had just started to turn an orange color.
