((Geez, that's insane Whysper. Sorry to hear about that. I hope the judge'll believe you! That's insane. Friends shouldn't do that to each other... I definitely hope things work out for you, that's just awful, especially this close to Christmas.

There's really no way to convince your father that your other siblings would be a better choice than you for king? If your heart's not in it, whatever you do is destined to be less than you hope for. Believe me, you don't want to be stuck in a position where you'll be miserable. Hopefully your father will be able to see that," he nodded.

Oh, a note. I'll be leaving next week to go to my grandparents for... five days I believe. We're leaving Christmas Eve. Chloe nodded, it was quite true that she'd never want to see Kaya in that position. Being forced to do something that he wasn't really interested seemed like quite a downer.
"Hm, I'm not sure what we can do to help," she admitted, nursing her tea as she leaned back in her chair.
"But I guess we can just take it one day at a time, and see where that leads us," she admitted with a slight shrug.

Kaya nodded to his friends, setting his fork down now that he was finished eating. "Well...I think I have a loophole, but it's success at setting me free depends on how much Brayden Loves me." he started, glancing around the Cafe. No one else was there at the moment so he picked up the ring box and dropped to one knee in front of his partner.
"Bray...will you marry me?" he asked as he opened the box to reveal the ring he'd bought. He looked hard at his lover's face for any sign of apprehension. He didn't want to force Brayden to do it if he wasn't ready.
((Feel free to say "no" to Kaya's loophole. And yeah, it is crazy, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. There are too many people in my family that do drugs for me to have one forever without getting busted with one of them with me and I'd be in the same position, just not as major, with them. And forgive my posting at 4 A.M. A thunderstorm here woke me up.))

((I have no qualms about it. This is all new to me. xD Never had my male characters proposed to before.

Brayden's eyes widened as he saw Kaya drop to his knee. He barely avoided choking on his gulp of coffee, before smiling. He dropped to the floor, hugging Kaya close.
"Of course I will," he grinned, nodding to the prince.
"There's honestly nothing that would make me happier than to stay by your side," he admitted with a genuine smile.

((Man, Torchic really like me. xD I think this is the third one I've gotten.))
Brayden fingered the pendant around his neck gently, smiling, "It's awesome, just amazing," he breathed, a bit at a loss for words.
"I don't think I ever want to take it off," he laughed, kissing his newly-dubbed fiance lightly.
"Thank you, so much," he lit up, smiling brightly, "I'll wear it proudly, both this and the ring," he grinned.
"I just wish I could get you something in return, though," he admitted. Brayden certainly didn't have much money, and adding that to his lack of employment, his only cash came from gym battles. Perhaps he could save up, though. He made a silent vow to himself.
While Brayden was distracted, a small fire bird hopped underneath his chair. The Torchic cheeped, pecking curiously at Brayden's bag. A Pokeball fell from it at the action, rolling across the floor before knocking into the Torchic.
"Chi?" the bird chirped, surprised, as it was drawn into the ball. A moment later the Pokeball vanished to Brayden's PC box.

Chloe might be a bit zombie-ish for the next day or so. xD I'm working on getting my 7 days for the event set up, as well as packing to go to my grandparents' on Wednesday. :3 I'm bringing my laptop there, and my dad said he can set up wireless internet, so I'll probably be able to get on, but probably not for long while I'm gone, probably just long enough to post the Advent event and maybe post once here. ^^

Chloe broke out into a wide grin as she saw Kaya propose to Bray. Her smile spread even further at Brayden's acceptance to the proposal.
"A huge congrats to both of you!" she beamed, clapping. She was definitely happy for the both of them. They made quite the pair, she admitted with an internal nod.
"Hope I get an invite to the wedding," she joked with a wink.

The Torchic that had approached Brayden was soon followed by a Magby approaching Kaya. Oddly enough, it carried in it's claws two carefully wrapped candies. "Mag?" it asked as it saw Kaya's Messenger bag with what looked like another candy sticking out of it. It reached up and attempted to grab the man's "candy", knocking the minimized Pokeball from it's place. The ball hit the ground and enlarged, rolling up to the Magby's feet. The little Pokemon went to grab the ball and ended up tapping the release button, causing the ball to open up and draw it inside. "Mag by!" it shouted in surprise as it was drawn inside. The Pokemon put up no resistance once it was inside, though. When the ball pinged, it was whisked away to Kaya's PC box.  Female Exp: (0/15) Lv. 10 Hp. 70 Pers. Has a sensitive ego. Self conscious. As soon as Kaya finished his transfer of the Pokeballs, his PPTS suddenly blared out another error message like the one before it. This time, when he silenced the machine and checked his box, he found that his Slowking and Magmar were missing. Seeing that he had no reason to keep his Magmarizer any longer, he used the machine and programed it to send the item to the same location as Magmar.
((Eldritch Esper wanted them and I don't plan on using them anymore. I caught Magmar with the intention of getting a Magmortar but I realized afterward that I don't like Magmortar. Hopefully they'll get more out of it than I will. And Slowking was more because I thought It'd need it to beat Flannery and didn't.))

((This advent event thing is pretty cool. =) Kudos, mods.
Sorry for not being too active. Family's coming over tomorrow for festivities, so I'll be scarce on the internet. Today was "ZOMG CLEEN HOUSE!!!" day to make things presentable. xD))
Brayden smiled, genuinely happy about the gifts, as well as (if not more so) the heartfelt promise that came along with them.
"Thank you," he said again.
"And congrats," he smiled to Vhan, "Kaya's probably one of the best to learn from when it comes to anything Pokemon. He can even understand their speech, which is something I've always been a bit envious of," he admitted with a light laugh.
Brayden didn't notice a Piplup teetering under his cafe chair, prancing along, enjoying the winter weather, even though he did find his way inside.
He did, however, look to his bag hearing a clatter, noticing his things now scattered about the floor under his table. His Pokenav, changes of clothes, and various nicknacks were strewn from under his chair, beneath the table, and leading in a rather sloppy line a few feet away. Along with which was a rolling Pokeball, which spun in a rather odd pattern before pinging. Baffled, Brayden was about to pick up the device, but it vanished before he had the chance, transporting to his PC.
"Strange..." he murmured, as he picked up his things. He made a note to check what the heck it was he had snagged later on. And to give a piece of his mind to whatever klepto Pokemon it was. He noticed a few bottles of water that he swore he didn't purchase from anywhere...
Finishing rearranging his bag, Bray slung it on the back of his chair instead of the floor for safekeeping, before taking his seat once more. He was about finished with his breakfast, and was more sipping the dredges of his coffee than anything.
"So, we're headed to Iron Mountain," he confirmed with a nod, "I don't know too much about the place. I can probably guide through the first short streak of the journey, but I don't know too much about what's farther beneath the surface."

Vhan grinned as he looked down at Aoi, who seemed to be smiling as well. It was difficult to read the robotic Pokemon's expression. "That sounds awesome. I'm gonna have to learn that!" he declared at last, knowing that Aoi would be his translator for a while, especially since the Pokemon could already speak human. Shojo could have done it as well but she was much too hyper to be of any help with that.

Kaya released Tsuki from her Pokeball after a moment of contemplation and grinned as the Leafeon stretched out and curled up at the foot of his chair.
She had found one of the Princeling's stray Pokeballs and was balancing it on her nose and simply playing with it like any playful fox when a Piplup popped out at her. Surprised by the Water starter's sudden appearance, she bounced back a bit, dropping the Pokeball on the ground. The Piplup noticed the ball and picked it up, tossing it to Tsuki, as if to play catch. Seeing that the youngling only wanted her attentions, she caught the ball with her tail and flicked it back at the penguin, who failed to catch it. Instead, it found the ball bouncing off it's head as it misjudged the ball's traveling distance. "Plup!" it declared in surprise as the ball bounced off and drew it inside. Landing on the floor, clicking strangely as it did, the ball rolled towards Kaya, bumping into his ankle as it stopped.
"Hmm?" he hummed in wonderment as he looked down, seeing the light on the release button flash before a ping reached his ears. "Oh, dear. What have I got now?" he wondered aloud as he went to pick the ball up. It vanishing from his hand before he could check it's contents, however.
He made a mental note to check on it later and see if it was worth keeping or if he should pawn it off on a passing trainer. Brayden wasn't the only one finding bottles of water that weren't his, because Kaya found a small handful of them scattered around under the table while he'd been bent over.
"Yeah, really all I know about the Island is that there's an old abandoned mine under the natural caves." he put in on Brayden's comments.
((Dun worry. I had massive family over on Sunday. I'm just antisocial so I stayed hidden in my room all day playing online/attempting to draw between fighting the baby cousins out of my room.))

Chloe nodded, "I haven't been there myself, so I know very little. I've heard there are mines, but other than that, I'm clueless," she admitted with a shrug. She peered under the table as Brayden found his stuff strewn everywhere, but didn't catch anything other than a faint flash of blue.
Chalking it up to a trick of her eyes she shrugged, returning her attention back to those located above the tabletop.

Brayden nodded, "I've been a bit deeper than the first few levels. Mostly because I was just training a bit. However, when I ran into Galactic goons, I decided to hightail it for the time being. I'm not sure if they're still there or not, but I'd be perfectly fine with both," he admitted.
"If they're there, we'll give them a whoopin' but if they're not, I certainly wouldn't mind a semi-peaceful trek through the caves," he chuckled.
