The page's declaration that she loved stupid ideas drew Ptolemy's delight, but he noticed her hesitation shortly after and the expression that replaced her grin. Was she worried he'd look up her dress or something? No, seemed more like she was concerned about the dress itself if her gaze was anything to go by.

"Relax," he told her, the tension in his own shoulders easing. He'd been slapped, hit, and punched for less before. At least this page seemed tolerant enough of his ridiculous request. "I know it's a nice outfit, but if you power down and power back up again, it'll be good as new! Besides, I don't know about you, but that thing looks annoying as hell to drag around. I'd constantly be worrying about tripping on it."

Before he'd finished speaking, though, she had already carried out her sacrifice. He raised his brows at the altered attire, but refrained from an appreciative whistle in case she took offense. "Tastefully done. Alrighty, up you go!"

He did his best, but even tall as he was at 6'3", he didn't think he had balanced her correctly before she'd thrown her missile. "Oops," he apologized. "I'll try to be more steady next time. Um...maybe throwing rubble will work better?"

Carefully lowering her back down, Ptolemy went over to some of the pieces that had broken off the walls from the volleys of attacks and handed her a sizable one. "Hopefully it'll be more effective." Taking one of his own, he tossed it up in the air once to test its weight before making his throw.

"Don't, uh, mention it?" Phaethon looked down at his hands for a moment, for a second at a loss, then rubbed them together again to pat them against the armor of the man standing in front of him. He felt his own skin warming up and assumed that it was transmitting. He hadn't so far experienced clothing or armor being an issue, anyway. "It.. doesn't do much, but." Maybe if he wished really hard, it would help more? Was that how all of this worked? None of it followed a pattern he had noticed, so crossing his fingers was sounding as good to him as anything else.

Oh. Oh now there was a fight. Well, there had been fighting, but now there was more fighting. As soon as Phaethon was reasonably sure he'd done as much as he could, he backed away and began searching for more rocks or debris. He trusted the man would be alright enough--there wasn't much else he could do--but the last thing he wanted to do was get in the way. Though, belatedly, he remembered offering to help him to the pad thing and quickly looked back over to see if he still needed that assistance. He'd offered, after all, and he wasn't going to just leave.

Well, not on purpose anyway...

Except the pad thing was gone, and there was--oh the man he'd healed was running into the fray anyway.

Nothing was really, processing, honestly. Phaethon felt distinctly removed from most of what was happening, and the monster that charged into the room got a muted reaction from him as a result. He stared at it for the space of a couple heartbeats before engaging any kind of actual action. He wasn't terribly keen to run up to it and start hitting it, instead opting to hover around the edges of the room and search for signs of anyone needing a helping hand. But, after a moment of that, he did give hitting the monster a go, ducking in and out when he thought he saw an opening.

Her attack now out of the way, Acubens pulled her second mirrorshard out of her fuku and shattered against Mithra's tiara. Hopefully... maybe... it would be enough to keep her at least awake and able to get out when this was all over. And it was going to be all over, and soon if Acubens had ******** all to say about it.

A frown curled the sides of her mouth down as he explained his reasoning, the tall boy removing the grip she specifically fastened to his wrist with the intention of retrieving him.

“You can't tell me what to do, we’re on the same level, Lieutenant.” Her nose wrinkled and she suppressed the urge to stick her tongue out at him. “I'm not about to let you wander off and get yourself killed. General Zircon might mistake you as a martyr and I'm not about to let you achieve a title I can't compete with.”

She looked at him, clearly exasperated as the stubborn boy continued to hobble his way towards the back of the room. Shaking her head, fists curled up at her sides and she stomped her way to catch up to him, jerking his hand up until her smaller ones moved to support his, latching on like a remora to a shark.

“The only liability around here is letting you roam off on your own. Don't be a dumbo, Sin.”

She paused, then looked up to offer a sly smirk as she teased, “Sinbo.”

This entire situation was a mess. Why had the stupid thing selected this particular group as well? If it had just been a bunch of Moonies vanishing off of the planet she would have perhaps enjoyed that a little bit.

Instead, she had to stab this stupid thing with a not-so-damaging blade. Oh, she was so inconvenienced!

Generate your stage’s number bracket as listed above! (for example, Eternal Sailor XYZ generates a random number between 21 and 30 for each post because they are Stage 3!)

• IF YOUR POST IS NOT FILLED IN BY THE TIME I CHECK NUMBERS, IT WILL BE SKIPPED!
  
• You may generate numbers THREE TIMES PER ROUND! If you’re busy and don’t have time to fill in a huge post to go with your numbers, that’s okay! Anything is better than nothing!
  
• Each round is when I’m able to check numbers - 12PM PST and 6PM PST
  
• All bets are off - you can summon your weapon, use your Aspects, use all your magical abilities, etc. Even Knight Summons will work here. Please make it clear what your ability does when using it!
  
• This fight will last or until you are Contained or Omega is defeated.
  

[Special Rules!]

• 4th stage characters may use their royal ability ONCE during this combat. Both Leto and Camelot’s abilities reduce the amount of damage taken by their group by HALF for that round. (this damage reduction is for this event only - I know Leto’s ability is technically
  camouflage, but simplifying how it works makes things easier for the event! ICly, Omega would have a harder time detecting and attacking its intended target anyway.)
  
• Mauvians have unlimited kitty beams!
  
• You can ICly assume you’re using your most powerful attack. You do not have to count the number of times you’re technically able to use your magic.
  
• Characters with healing magic or abilities can opt to heal instead, generating their stage’s number bracket and using it on themselves or a teammate. You can only heal 3 times this combat. Make it count!
  
• If you are reduced to 0 HP, you will be contained!
