Their game was in full swing, when the headmistress made her announcement. Niamh listened, her eyes locked on the headmistress. They would be able to go to their dorm rooms. With a whoop, she scrambled to her feet, upsetting the board game in the process.

"Shoot, I'm sorry guys. I'm just excited because now I can check on my familiars. In my dorm." She had a huge grin spread across her face. " And the bracelet making looks fun too!" She tried to keep her voice down, but it was hard, she was excited!

She knelt back down to scoop up scattered game pieces. "Sorry again!" She hurriedly stuffed the components into their bags, and folded the game board back into her box. Niamh grinned at her friends.

"Okay, I'm gonna go check on them. You can come if you want? Or we can meet up at the bracelet making when I'm done?" She bounced on her toes, hardly keeping her obvious impatience in check.

Harley's golden eyes tried for a moment to think of a recent elective class that she had. "Hm... A class..." She focused on this question, trying to think up a good one, something thoroughly thought out so that her mind was occupied. "I recently took a care of magical creatures class. We had to care for Flutterrats for a week and we ended up getting to keep them. I named mine Bean!" Thinking of the cute winged creature made her smile, but then it quickly fell. "I'll.... I'll need to be checking on him soon... I hope we aren't stuck here for long...." The anxiety was settling back in. What if they were trapped her? She made sure the Flutterrat had enough to eat and drink before leaving to the festivities, but what if they were down here for a few days? A week? Forever!? Her golden claws ran through her hair as she thought of this possibility...

But then, the headmistress started to let people go to their dorms. Were they finally free of danger? No... It couldn't be that simple... But other things were taking place. Did she want to go back to her room? She probably shouldn't be alone at the moment. Bean was fine... She looked up at Baum with concern in her eyes. "M-maybe we should... Make a bracelet... Bean should be alright. I can check on him soon after..."

Aedus listened to the head mistress he wanted to check out his room too and make sure all his familiars were ok. Some of them were at his parent's place so not all of them were in his room. "Yea me too, do you want me to walk with you to your room and then I can go to my room to check on my familiars?" He asked Nim he didn't like the idea of here wandering around by herself. He turned to Kappa "If you're not allergic to familiars you can come rest in my dorm if you want somewhere to chill." Aedus said in his normal grumbling tone. He didn't mind the game being dropped he hadn't liked it anyway, he only played for Nimah. He shrugged at the bracelets he would likely make one for Nimah since he liked her.

Kappa twitched when Aedus spoke to him. He had gotten the sense the boy wasn't quite fond of him, so the direct comment had caught him off guard. However, the offer of peace and quiet was well received. Last time he remembered, his door had been knocked down....

"I'd like that." He murmured softly, tugging softly at his shirt. Somewhere to avoid everyone would be nice.

"Sounds good." She chirped happily, wings all a flutter. Niamh set off towards her dorm room, practically bouncing. Reaching her door, she pushed it open, it still bore the name tag her Freshling rommmate had made her. She had a double room, but no roommate yet. Her Vespercats and Crocobee all swarmed up to greet her, and she dropped to her knees, trying to pet them all.

"I'm so sorry guys, I didn't mean to leave you alone so long! Some stuff happened and I wasn't allowed to come and see you, but it seems okay now." She made sure to spend a moment petting each familiar in turn.

She looked back to her friends, still smiling. "Uh, I kinda want to change out of my costume, so can I meet you at Aedus'?"

"We probably shouldn't split up, Ella. I really don't think it's a good idea. However, I'll help take care of Leslie. We'll be close behind you, okay? That way you can have a bit of privacy while you talk to Ava. How does that sound, Leslie, hmmn?" Raa looked down at the little imp and gave a soft little smile to them. He didn't want to leave Ella alone, especially after the state she was in a few moments ago. Especially not after a state of emergency was declared. And especially not when she might be sent off in to a panic if Ava gave her bad news. Raa wanted to be there and accessible, just incase.

Much like a prey being found by a predator, Bambina couldn't help but jump when Esuyak first spoke to her. It wasn't just his words, but the tone in which he said it that caught her off guard. This was followed by trembling, which she tried very hard to make stop, but to no avail. Curse her meek stature. Curse it to the blazes! If Ragazzino were there, she could have hid behind him, but he wasn't. She hadn't seen heads or tails of her twin, and so she was just going to have to go it alone for the time being.

"N-..." Her words caught in her mouth, stuck for a moment as if they had been trapped with glue. It was only after another beat that she found them again. "Nothing," she finally managed to get out, only to add a quick and hushed, "...Only that it seems that you're overcompensating for something..what with that bully persona you put on, and all...." Naturally, Bambina didn't look at her kumiho peer when she said all of this. Her gaze was cast downward, and her arms hugging tight the plushie that Kunibert had given to her, as if it would help.

Yet, in a way, it kind of did. Hugging the toy made her feel able to speak her mind more, hence why she spoke to Esuyak as she did. She ignored his comment about her head, knowing fully well that arguing against his statements or trying to defend herself would just add fuel to his fire. Perhaps she'd go try and sit with some other freshlings in a little bit? They'd certainly be nicer to her than Esuyak was.

For a second Ella just stared at Raa. Why did it matter if they split up? Why did it matter if she was in dan- stop. It mattered to Raa, and that was important. Someone cared, and that meant she needed to take care of herself if it meant making another person happy. That's how she functioned these days, anyways. Besides, something about upsetting the boy who was trying so hard to keep her safe left a bad taste in her mouth. He cared. She didn't want to hurt him.

"Okay." She relented softly, glancing at Ava before, with hesitance, she gestured that she was about to go over to the demon. When she was sure both had seen and were ready to follow she began moving.
