Arden drifted into the room, practically a ghost as he tried to be as inconspicuous as possible. It wasn't that he was adverse to celebrations, but the Hunter's Jubilee did make him feel a little awkward even if the true intention wasn't purely romantic. He felt even more like the odd man out wandering into the festive, pink event on his own. Wings tight to his back as to avoid the usual attention, the Chimera drifted towards the freebie table. Nearly immediately, the shiny stones caught his eye and he kicked up it up to test the weight in his hand. Yeah, this was going on his shelf of things.
Glancing around, Arden quietly stuck the rock into his pocket. Not too far off stood another Chimera who looked almost as awkward as he. While those of his race gave him just as much as anxiety as those without, he still was most comfortable in their company. Leftover habits from the Clan he supposed. Quietly, Arden drifted towards Aren, raising a hand in greeting on the approach. His claws clicked together. "Just as lost?" he questioned, moving to rub the back of his neck as he came to a still next to the other Senior.
As uncomfortable as he was at the even he continued to look around. Seeing all the little trinkets and games that they could all participate in was neat and allowed him to slightly ignore his surrounding. He couldn't help but wonder if one of his few friends would show up. Esrael continued to scan over all the little trinkets, there was just so many pretty things! The Fallen smiled to himself as he thought about his friends reactions to him giving them a gift...well the thought of actually giving them the gifts made his heart flutter and made him really nervous. Still, he really wanted to show his friends that he cared about them and gifts were a good way of doing that without having to have a long conversation with someone!
As he was walking around, admiring all the different things, something caught his eye. A really pretty pendant, the heart was a pale yellow and he couldn't help but liken it to the color of Burvia's eyes. "This is perfect for her!" He quietly exclaimed under his breath. He took the petite pendent in his hands. He carefully opened the locket, thinking to himself that he could definitely put a picture of him and Joseth into it for her.

Citali tried once again to get over her troubles of being around so many at once, and made her way to the festival again. She was pleased to see that it wasn't as crowded, so she could navigate at least a bit easier. Weaving in and around all the wings, tails, and objects, she finally made it to the table with the books to her great surprise. Looking at each book she sighed and fidgeted. She didn't know which one Rae would like! Finally after minutes of arguing to herself, she randomly pointed at one and grabbed it. She hoped he liked it! Now she just had to find time to give it to him, or for that matter, just simply find him.

This was Lorek's first time on the school grounds. He'd be starting here soon, and was a little intimidated by how big it was. He held onto his brother's hand carefully, glancing around and hoping that neither of the two freshlings would be trampled.

Kiessi was glad that their brother had decided to join them for the festivities~! It was much more exciting with family, after all. And even though their mother hadn't joined them this time, they were especially glad to have Lorek at their side. They just hoped that he would enjoy it as much as they did.

Allumin had a very firm opinion on love and the pursuit of romantic partners. He knew he didn't have the time to distract him from his focus on his studies. However, that did not mean he could not meet a compatible individual now, which could one day turn into something more intimate after he achieved his goal. A good potential individual would understand his need to become a Master Alchemist. They would support him and help him study. Allumin slowly wandered the festival, his eyes moving from one display to the next as he uncapped his water bottle and took a small swallow of the lime flavored liquid. His tail swayed slightly behind him as he sidestepped around other festival visitors. He was a bit surprised to see some young ones wandering around. Surely they were too young to be looking for love? Maybe there was another element to the festival that he hadn't realized?
As Allumin browsed the booths, he found himself pausing and flushing at the sight of some plushies that resembled his familiar. With his brown cheeks a strangely darker shade, he pointed to a small blue one and mumbled to the booth owner that he would like that particular plush.
Conley hadn't realized quite how big the Academy was until there was a huge event crammed into the place. While you might think filling up the school would make it seem smaller, it was just amazing that all of it fit in there in the first place. It really was a pretty cool place. In some ways he could be jealous of those Grimm who grew up here. While in other ways it did make him ache for home. As he wandered around he came across and stand giving away a variety of roses, they also explained what the various colors meant as well. He couldn't help but pick up one of the white ones. This was his chance to make a friend!
He held the rose close to himself as he started the next part in his mission; locate someone to give this friendship flower to! Eventually a nightmare caught his attention, but she was definitely different from anyone he'd met before. They had talked about the Bakeneko and Naga in one of his classes, but he'd never met one before! Okay Conley, time to stuff away that shyness and try to make a friend.
He padded on over to the Bakeneko, quite curious about her race in general. They had pawed feet like Grimm! And fluffy ears and fluffy tails! But they were different at the same time. How exactly does one just approach someone and start talking to them? Much less give them a flower? He hoped he was acting cool, oh please let this come off as cool.
"Hi! I'm Conley! And I'd really like it if you'd accept this rose of friendship!" That was okay, right? Right? Oooo, he could feel the heat rushing to his cheeks. He couldn't help it! He was just shy by nature.... No matter how much he wanted to not be.
Husk was cruising around the arena of festivities, checking out what drew his attention, which wasn't all that much. His gaze just seemed to blankly run along what was around him, not picking up on anything in particular. However he did manage to snatch up a plushie that had definitely gained his liking, due to it being a fluffy little bat! without even paying mind to the fact that a game was to be played to win it, he continued on his way with it hugged to his chest, not even realizing the shouts that were aimed at him from the stall owner.
There were many new individuals about for him to investigate, but that would have to wait. He'd locked onto a form he had met and established a foundation with not too long ago. Antenna pricking right up as he spotted Sae, the fae instantly made a beeline for her, trotting right up close and personal to her, all bright smiles, "Sae you're here! How great!" he chirped, in a sing songy tone, wings twitching gleefully. Holding up his plush, he showed it to her proudly, "Look at what I found at a table over there."

Nereus had been a little bit lost in a daze, staring at all the lovely decorations, and displays on the spread out tables. He was slowly taking in the scene, sighing wistfully at some of the shiny stones that had caught his eye on a table nearby. As he neared it, reaching to grab one, he felt the sudden brush of another body against his own. Blinking, he slowly peeked back to see what was the cause, only to spy a little goblin freshi. Staring at him silently for a spell, he finally gave a very faint smile, "Oh, it is alright, not to worry~" his voice was almost musical. Spying the notebook, his head canted slightly to try reading it, "are you doing homework here?" he asked slightly perplexed.

Dante was so glad to see Ivy again, he'd been bored without her. Sure, he got to hang out with Finn a lot, and with Shinobu and Kyoko, but it wasn't the same. He liked all of them, but he liked Ivy best. She was his best friend and the only one other than his parents that meant the world to him.
Wait, what? He blushed darkly from his own thoughts. Where had that come from? "Hey, do you wanna go grab something to eat?"

Ryker couldn't help but snicker as Matty did a fist pump. "Excited to be here?" he asked, then smirked and slung an arm around the goblin's waist. "Or is it the company?" He winked and smiled crookedly before letting go when Matty found a toy arrow. "Love arrow, huh? Gonna poke me with that thing, too? Or is there someone else who's caught your eye?" The grimm pouted at Matty and it was only half playful.
While he waited for an answer from his adorable roommate, he snagged a smooth stone from the same table that Matty had gotten the arrow.
Darrah was looking around to see who he could possibly prank at the party. There were so many targets that looked pretty good, but none that really jumped out at him yet. He decided to play a game and play nice for now. Maybe he'd find something to do for more fun later. Right! Games... This one looked easy. Tucking what was left of his brownie under his arm, Darrah tossed a ball at some heart shaped containers. Surprisingly, he made all three shots and won himself a plushie! "Yay!" he said happily and picked a vespercat plush. As he cuddled it, he hoped Bazza wouldn't try to eat it when he got home...

At the Winter Solstice, Bibiana had gone...a little bit crazy with the amount of jewelry and plushies she brought home. This time she thought she would try to take it easy. Which... Not off to a great start at that since she already had a plushie in her arms. Ah, well. Maybe she could start now then. Right! "Take it slow, Bibi," she murmured to herself as she made herself stroll around the party instead of bouncing around. Everything looked like so much fun, and the food looked delicious. There was so much candy, too! She would have to take some of that home with her.
Another game caught Nasrin's eye and he wandered over to it, clutching his little jackalope plush under one arm. This one was required the player to wear a blind fold and be spun around a couple times. Then they had to pin a heart onto a picture of a Nightmare. If they got close enough to the target, they won a prize. Nasrin thought for a moment before deciding to give it a shot. The vendor offered to hold his first plush before he spun Nasrin around a couple times. Feeling dizzy and disoriented, the little demon wobbled on his feet a bit but he had a pretty good sense of where he was going. With both hands stuck out, he felt for the paper and pushed the pin in before yanking the blindfold off. He was a little bit off, but the vendor gave him a plush anyway. "Thank you!!" the demon said as he beamed up at the Nightmare.
Burvia scoured the festival for something to take back to her friends. Hunter's Jubilee, after all, was how she first really got to know Esrael and Joseth. Burvia still remembered the gift she had given Joseth ... if only she had been able to give Rae something just as special, but back then, the two didn't exactly get along, despite Burvia's massive crush on the boy.
Now, as a junior, Burvia was bound and determined to find a gift for Esrael this time around. Much to her delight, the girl stumbled upon a ring that she felt would suit the fallen boy quite nicely!
