He spent a bit more time trying his hoof at it, but after a while he'd had enough. He'd...he'd be back.
But not before turning in these seeds. That was...all of his. He was fairly impressed with himself, all things considered.

Rob also hadn't actually been paying attention to what the seeds were going to be used for. Cooking, planting, trading, an art project...?

Rob plunked down the collection for the day and metered out the results with one hoof.

It was a new day, which called for...more effort?
Perhaps.
Or perhaps it called for a reinforcement. Westward Bound had recruited Time to Go, who looked aghast at the two achas running the booth, and then back at Westward Bound.
"I can do the talking," he said, grumpy. "Just gather seeds?"

Well, Time to Go could do that easily. She stuck her nose in the ground and winced at the kin nearby, but still managed to come up with seed after seed.
"Twelve?" she said, turning back to Westward Bound. "Is that all right?"
"...let's go for a bit more," he decided.

1 / 3 Little Clouds came back to gather seeds again. There weren't a lot of others participating but she did not mind that. Today, she walked behind a lush green tree with many leaves. Surely enough, on the ground, many helicopter seeds were scattered. she picked up as much as her mouth could carry and walked back to her seeds pile besides the booth 4 seeds carried over from last day + 10 seeds from this post = 14 seeds

Again she walked back to the lush tree and gathered a few more helicopter seeds. Looking up, she saw them twirl and fall onto the swamp's ground. They were so cute.
14 seeds + 4 seeds = 18 seeds

Her last trek took the longest and she had the somehow juggle and push back 6 chestnuts on her own. When she finally reached her pile beside the booth, she counted and realized she was jsut one seed short. "Drat, I will have to keep a close watch on this pile tonight."
With that, the blue acha slept beside her seeds pile until morning comes.
18 seeds + 6 seeds = 24 seeds

Westward Bound let her change the subject. "An expert at work, I see."
"Don't be silly," Time to Go huffed. "At Westfen we rarely have need for seeds. Look - you can turn these in. I'll keep going."
It really was strange that someone so agreeable was Westfen's second-in-command.

Well, whatever, thought Time to Go. Longclaw was certainly different, and it was his will that mattered.
...actually, it was probably stranger that they were such close friends. What did she know, though? She was just the plant doe. The plant doe who'd gathered plenty of seeds.

They had thirteen all together now, but some quick work could certainly increase that number. At twenty-two, they were nearly done.
