Her last gathering netted her ten seeds. She herself took 25 seeds to the kin and turned it in for two tokens. She left the remaining seeds where she had found it and walked away..
If the other doe did come back, she won't know that it is missing 7 seeds unless she recounted...
1 seed + 10 = 11 seeds

Westward Bound dragged himself out to the market again, feeling very tired. He'd stayed up late the previous night collecting seeds - a strangely calming endeavor, but not one that really helped him along when it came to the lack of sleep issue. He was certainly heading to that booth early today.
Unfortunately the lack of sleep did seem to be affecting his ability to gather seeds. They were just so small, and he just...wanted to nod off.

He still had a good little sum of seeds, though. That certainly did help him along - as did chancing upon a little cache of seven. All in the same spot!
That was curious.

With a little sigh he moved the last few seeds into place and...ah. This was twenty-five seeds, actually, wasn't it? Twenty-five and...four more. He would confiscate those, then. Err, not confiscate. Westward Bound joined a small collection of other seed-hunters at the Polite Society's plot again. He wasn't sure if it was that he'd worn his laurels today - but it seemed absurdly easy to find seeds.

Of course, he thought: that very thought might have been his downfall.
Although apparently it wasn't: ten more seeds turned themselves up very happily for his search.

Perhaps he should just wear this more, he thought. He collected for a little more, before interrupting himself: he'd already done more than his share today. He could be back tomorrow. [ I do hope this helps! ] 4 + 10 + 10 + 1 (5 remaining)

The hardest thing, of course, was not to munch while she searched. The seeds were just so tiny, and tender, and delicious...she ought to visit the Rise and Shine booth again.

Phew! Gathering what she could, she trotted back with all of her hard...err, work.
They were not very impressed. 25 seeds? That sounded suspiciously close to a job.[ I do hope this helps! ] 5 3 7 = (15)

1 /3 The blue little acha had indeed come back to finish gathering the seeds. She was mostly gone since there were other booths to check out but she came back to gather. "1... 10..11.." s he counted, "hmm, the birds or critters must have run off with a few while i was gone.." It didn't make her upset but rather, she went to collect some more. 1 seed + 10 = 11 seeds from last post + current count 3 = 14 seeds

Little Clouds only managed to haul three back in her mouth and this time she looked around the bushes. Lo and behold, there was a jackpot to be found! She had to make two trips to gather all 9 seeds back to her pile near the booth.
14 seeds + 9 seeds = 23 seeds

Her last search netted her 6 seeds. Those she had to shove her head into a fallen tree trunk to fish it out. The squirrels were angry but she needed them.
23 seeds + 6 seeds = 29 seeds
29 seeds - 25 seeds = 4 seeds carried over for next day.

Perhaps not, but he was growing more and more accustomed to this regardless. Picking out the little seeds had become a bit of a routine.
He wouldn't miss it once the market was over, though.
