"What?" Jakkin asked aloud, staring up at the brown. Had the brown thought his expression had been directed him? Had he offended it somehow? Did the--oh. Oh shards. Was this Impression? He'd heard about it from countless riders since he'd arrived at the Weyr, but it always seemed to vary from person to person. Some of them had been mauled by their dragons. Some of them had gone to help. Some of them had simply felt the need to pay a certain dragonet especial attention.
"Oh. It's nothing. I was just teasing him," Jakkin--was he J'kin now? That wasn't altogether different from his name, so he didn't feel it would take much adjusting. It would probably take more time to remember how to spell his name now. "Er, could you get off now? Your name's Riuruth then? I er... well they make us wear white. I don't really know why. I always thought blue might be better. Or brown. But apparently it's tradition. Silly one, really. They're probably already filthy, now that I'm on the ground." He paused and blinked at the brown's continual questions. "Uh. No. They just keep me from being burnt. You don't have to worry about that though--um. Do you ever stop talking?"
Perhaps when I know everything there is to know. Why are they leaving? Let's eat! What kind of meat is it, Mine?
"Um. I don't know. Can you stop asking questions, please? At least long enough for me to feed you?" The brown finally allowed him to stand, and Jakkin led Riuruth to the feeding tables.

"Of course. She is Calith's daughter, after all," T'rel winked. "You never know with Calith, but I fancy she's been corrupting the gold within since the egg was laid." T'rel shrugged, trying to make light of the topic. It was true he was wary of golds; Calith was an exception. He worried something would happen to the gold hatchling. He worried that she would be under his care during weyrling lessons. He didn't want to be responsible for her safety, when she meant so much to the Weyr. Now wasn't the time to think about that, though.
He grinned at Cesa. "Never," he said, with a shake of his head. "Someone's got to remember, and it might as well be me. R'yn's certainly not going to remind anyone. Anyway, it leads up into a good lesson. I can bring it up when I talk to them tonight. How to feed your dragon properly; and an example on how not to do it. Also, what not to do if their dragon's head does get stuck in a bucket." He smirked at the very idea. The thought that he'd need to share that lesson with a weyrling amused him.
"I don't know, Cesa. You need to teach that apprentice something. Her Master certainly didn't." The man paused, tilting his head slightly as if to ensure he had heard the greenrider properly. "Really?" he asked. "I figured you'd be too busy with the feast."

Ashlyn
Ashlyn watched the light blue guarding the other egg, thinking how very protective he was. She watched as the blue dragon got to his feet and started to head for the candidates. Soon the Elephant bronze joined him, which caused a smile to form on her lips, the two seeming to get along. She saw the Vulture was in a hurry and watched him head in the direction of the girls. She watched him start to circle them, thinking he was doing this very carefully, maybe not wanting to hurt any of them.
She started to wonder who that dragon was going to go to, thinking how lucky that person would be. She didn't think it would be her, he was too wonderful, he would pick someone who could take him places, someone sure of themselves. She couldn't help but wonder if her own dragon was in this clutch at all or if it would end the same way the others had gone before. She had gone through the pain of being left on the sands while many of her fellow candidates had become whole as a rider. She also wondered what her parents would say if it happened again. It would probably be the same encouraging words she always got. She was so lost in her thoughts that she nearly jumped when a snout pressed against the palm of her hand.
Hello, my Ashlyn.a voice came into her mind, which made her suddenly feel a lot calmer. She turned to see a rainbow gaze meet her own gaze and a smile appeared on her lips. I am sorry I made you wait, Mine, your Gyafrith had to defend his clutchmate. They were very frightened.
"No need to apologize, dear one, you did what needed to be done. I was actually worried about your unhatched sibling myself, so I am glad you went to help them. Come on, you must be hungry now, let's go get something to eat,"Ashlyn suggested. She laughed as Gyafrith started to push her in the direction of the feeding table.
I have a question, my Ashlyn,Gyafrith began. Ashlyn looked to the dragon beside her, wondering what he wanted to know.
"Go ahead, you may ask,"Ashlyn prompted.
Why were you hiding, Mine? I had a hard time finding you. Were you afraid of something?Gyafrith asked.
"Well..I...um..."Ashlyn stammered.
You never have to fear again, your Gyafrith will always protect you. You are too wonderful to hide in the crowd, you are a shining star,Gyafrith comforted, placing a wing on her leg. Then he took a piece of meat and offered it to her, giving her a look that she needed to eat.

Mei Nothing was more nerve wracking than having a dragonet circle them like they were some sort of prey. Had Mei not recognized the telltale calm colors circulating through those facets, she might have been afraid. That bobbing and weaving head was searching for someone, and Mei felt the compulsion to merely… step out of the blue's way. It had been the correct assumption, because the blue had darted straight for Ashlyn. Though disappointed, Mei could honestly say she felt happy for her. The girl at least seemed genuinely nice. And now, enraptured with her dragon, she was practically glowing.
Now though, Mei was beginning to calculate her odds. There were few dragons on the sands, and few still within their shells. Three eggs left-- well, four if she counted the golden egg, but she'd already had personal bets for who that one would go for, and she did not have her marks placed on herself. The bronzes? To the men, obviously, they were not part of the equation. There was a green and a blue still on the sands, ones she kept her hopes out for despite the blue's voraciousness and the green's vanity. Mei was about earning one's keep and deserving where they are in life, but she also had to keep in mind that these dragonets were complicated and sapient creatures, and like a fine piece of crystal, their only facet was not just the one they were presenting on the sands.
Still, the didn't seem obvious matches in her mind. The other eggs… too many factors remained unseen. Impression was beginning to seem unlikely. She put on a brave face, pulling her chin up in a subconscious effort to not look worried.. but Mei was the sort who would have a contingency plan, already thinking of the face she'd put on at the evening's dinner for her parents, and the speech of why she should stay at the Weyr for another chance. She didn't want to go home. For all that she loved her family, she didn't want to be bullied and guilted into marrying and becoming a housewife. The crafts and the Weyrs were so -different- from the holder's life. Once she'd experienced the relative equality that women had within the Weyr's walls… she didn't think she could go back to what she once was, not even if it meant living amongst the beautiful fruit trees again.
Hennory
Hennory, in stark contrast of his more logically thinking friend, was still all hope. Then again, his options were increased by two in the form of two bronzes on the sands. Was he aiming specifically for a bronze? Shells no, but it did mean that there were more options for him; one more potential dragonet to look to him as their life partner in the skies. The Elephant had begun to move now, his strides deliberate and steady. His heart jumped in his chest. This dragon had been on the sands the longest of them all, taking his time to choose. Was he about to do so now? There was such a buildup now, that surely everyone was curious as to who the bronze would choose.

Kieza watched from the feeding tables as yet another Impressed. A beautiful-colored Blue. She smiled, her arms around Nyxbath's neck as she continued to feed the fidgeting youthful dragon. More of her siblings were finally coming out, and she was more than raring to play. "Sit still and eat, Nyxie." She murmured, scratching the scales along her chin as she fed her Green bonded dragon. "There will be time to play and greet all soon. But eat, you glutton. You'll run out of all that playful energy if you don't!"
This gave the playful dragonet pause. Oh, I don't want that, Mine! She snapped up a gob of meat, her dazzling eyes turning all sorts of hues as she fought the urge to bounce over to her siblings and say hello. But she listened to Kieza and remained by her side, eating the meat given her.

Jasiline
The argument among the other candidates was just stupid. Jasiline had no desire to get into a petty little bicker fight. No need to prove she had bigger trundlebugs than the rest of these jumped up gold diggers. They could have the shiny gold. Jasi wanted a fighter!
And there were a few on the sands that looked like they could fulfill her desire. Even after the fiery Black Mamba Impressed. Two bronzes, one a possible pacifist, the other reminding her far too much of her middle brother, were noted and for the most part ignored. Unless they decided to get angry, their antics had no affect on her. The new blue was a beast of a dragon though! She could hope for a blue couldn't she? It wasn't unheard of for a girl to ride a blue dragon and one that big already could probably last a whole Fall too! She'd probably ride a green. That was perfectly fine by her. It was her favorite color after all. Jasiline cracked a grin and laughed at her own thoughts. Shells. She'd just be happy if she didn't have to go back home.
The Badger brown paced the line of candidates, even coming down to examine the girls. Jasiline stared over the heads of a couple who'd moved in front of her in hopes of Impressing. Browns could Impress girls too huh? Jasiline made a face. Maybe he'd chose from among them.
Mine! There are far too many people here and your Voracath does not like it. We shall go elsewhere, my Jasiline. I do not wish to be crowded any longer. No come out of that cluster of weaklings and feed me. To anyone else it might look like Voracath was staring at the tall twig of a tomboy but to Jasiline is was the most loving gaze she had ever born witness too. With no regard to the girls infront of her, Jasiline shoved them roughly aside to get to her Voracath. Her handsome brown Voracath.
Really Jasilinemine. Why do you hang out with them? They are so far beneath you and I. Now come. I'm hungry. Voracath didn't even wait for Jasiline to reach his side before he was off towards the feeding tables, his low body swaying as he trotted towards his goal. It was up to the young girl to keep up with him. His desire was for food, hers was to touch that voice within her mind, to feel him and know that he was real. Nothing else mattered.
Zofer
Jakkin's call got Zofer to look away from the two bronzes for a moment. He hated being called Zo, or Zoe, or Zof. His name was not that long. Did people really need to shorten it further. Zofer grimaced crossly. "It's Zofer. And of course I do. Doesn't every shaffin dimglow out here think there's one for them?"
Heh maybe the Serval Bronze was more like him than he'd thought. Zofer turned back to see the newly hatched bronze putting the moves on an even newer green. Still, following after her like a lovesick puppy was no way to win a girl's heart. Zofer knew that well enough, you had to draw them to you, not the other way around. He could help the bronze with that. Zofer was the image of cocky self confidence as he watched the bronze and green pair. He only moved to get out of the brown's way as he went to choose another candidate. Brown's weren't for him. Neither were blues. No Zofer was certain now that the Serval was his. He just needed to wait till the Green had either Impressed or grown tired of his drooling before he realized it.
Zofer would really have to work on that drooling. It was going to get that bronze nowhere.

Reaching the crowd of males Elephant did not cease, with the same steady pace he walked straight into the group. Luckily he moved slower than his siblings, not building up enough momentum to knock any of them to the ground, just gradually push against them until they relented and he was able to pass through unhindered. The large bronze hatchling was thoughtful as he worked through, stopping each few paces to look up into a hopeful face before moving on. Pausing in front of Zofer Elephant looked steadily at the boy for a long while, no expression on the draconic face as he simply looked at the overlyconfident youth. Silently he turned his head and continued on stopping at another boy, Hennory once again Elephant did nothing for the longest time. Finally the bronze let out a sad rumble, an apology, before turning away once again and moving on. While the Elephant seemed intent on getting closer looks at each of the candidates, there was one that had made his decision from afar. Having efficiently looked over all of the candidates Hippopotamus promptly picked himself up and began to walk towards the males. The fastest way between two places was a straight line and the blue hatchling had no issue with moving in a straight line now that he knew exactly where he was going. There would be none of that pointless wandering about for Hippopotamus. When he reached the candidates however he saw the issue of there being so many, it did make things awkward. He slowed ever so slightly, eyes still fixed forward. It was clear now who the large blue was staring straight at. Mine. The blue said simply as his eyes exploded into the rainbow gaze of impression, his eyes firmly fixed on Lysandor. It is time now, you Potamphith has chosen you and you must step forward. The hatchling came to a halt just before reaching the candidates. He saw no point in dragging his chosen out of the group when he had already called him. The blue stood solidly, waiting.

Lysandor
The young man had been watching the bronze move along taking its time making its choice when suddenly his attention was snatched away his head turning to latch onto the rainbow hue of the blue dragonet. A wave of emotion flooded through him and giving a small smile he moved forward as it seemed Potamphith wasn't going to get any closer to the crowd.
Good, I hunger feed me mine so I can then go lay down.
the dragonet seeing that Lysandor would come to him relaxed somewhat as the male got closer even venturing a small nudge in Lysando's arm to indicate their move towards the feeding tables. Although it became apparent Potamphith didn't want to get close to any of the other hatchlings as the approached and he became bristling with aggression.
Lysandor picked up on his dragons unease and stopped from progressing further. Although it would take longer the boy would walk back and forth from the table carrying meat to feed his new companion. Potamphith relaxed though was far from at peace and stood watching the rest of the dragons and candidates even once full. Only once Lysandor began to scratch his eye ridges did the large blue go to lay down.

Mei Oh, -rotten- luck. He'd truly thought the little bronze had chosen her friend, and immediately was glad that she'd postponed in any celebration when the look of pure dejection came across his face. It was strange to see it, especially twice in one night. Generally the young man had seemed cool, prideful and confident, carefully reserved. To see something beyond that even after knowing him for the entirety of their candidacy was unnerving.
Then again, she wasn't weighing on this hatching quite like he was. He'd expressed his desire to Impress multiple times. To find purpose. Mei had purpose and drive, she knew that much about herself, and perhaps was the more confident of them because of it. She could easily leave from here without a dragon and go back to working a shop, or perhaps looking into a more long-term job as a trader. She had options. She had..
Purpose.
She let out a slow, calming breath. Faranth hear her.. if either of them came out of this with a dragon, she certainly hoped it would be Hennory, for his sake.. And not because she was some sort of altruistic being, either, but Mei wasn't the sort to hold all of the marks in a situation and not wish to drop one into the hand of someone that didn't have any. Though, for all that she could hope for that to happen, she couldn't make it happen; nobody could control to whom a baby dragon would go.
Hennory
With how long the Elephant bronze had stared at him, he'd begun to hope, to wonder.. to search out mentally in question for that special bond.. but it would never come. His eyes were huge, hopeful, searching. No wonder the little bronze had felt the need to be apologetic before moving away. The young man deflated, his breath coming out of him with a tight, uncomfortable sound as he watched him move on.
Unworthy?
That had been the question he'd asked himself, but, that seemed a touch too self serving, didn't it? He'd been considered, it almost seemed, and that would be an appeasement. Perhaps 'worthiness' hadn't been the issue. Perhaps.. they weren't right for each other. Someone out there was better for him, and a dragon was still out there that would be better for Hennory. He was vaguely aware of the blue making his choice, but he didn't look in that direction, seeming far too intertwined in his own thoughts to come out of his own head. First the green, and now the bronze.. these close calls would be the death of him. Already, he was feeling a bit more reserved, like perhaps he shouldn't go about throwing himself out there for each and every dragon that passed by. Was he seeming desperate? It hadn't seemed right to appear discerning when it was the dragon's choice and not his.

Rissa
Rissa felt a wave of sympathy for the two boys as the bronze came so tantalizingly close to them. If it weren't for the way the dragon carried itself she'd almost say it seemed like it was taunting them with it's presence only to prowl off after another. It was clear that neither of the two boys had been the bronze's rider.
However on the brightside the massive blue had finally impressed and wandered off the sands leaving just three dragons left to impress that were still wandering around and with the number of eggs on the sands narrowing the candidates once hopeful looks were growing more and more desperate around the large cook as she observed them quietly.

Ameleia watched closely as the two dragon brothers as started toward the male Candidates, one of them prowling around to inspect each and every one closely before continuing on his way, while the other one seemed to know exactly who he was looking for. It showed how different she thought to herself as she watched what it was that the two of them were doing. The Blue, unlike his Bronze brother found his partner it seemed and then two of them headed off of the sands together to find food for the little one. She watched as they headed off for a moment, her attention went to the Bronze, hoping that he found the one that he was looking for soon. He'd sounded so sad after inspecting some of the boys only to find them wanting, "Poor little guy." She murmured before turning to check on the others once more.
Not many more left on the sands unhatched, other then the Bronze who was prowling around and inspecting the guys there was a second Bronze who was still strutting his stuff and the pretty Green as well. She watched the two of them for a moment, wondering for a moment if they were having a 'whose prettier' contest between the two of them. The idea was a funny one, and then her eyes went to the eggs that remained unhatched thus far, cocking her head to one side, curious if they were planning to hatch soon. She was more then certain though that those on the sands with her didn't mind waiting until the hatchlings were ready to come out and face the world, no matter how long that might take.

Ashlyn
Ashlyn was watching the hatching, wondering who the other dragons would go to and what was in the remaining eggs. She had convinced Gyafrith to let her feed him, she would eat later, she had assured when he had expressed his concern that she had not eaten since the previous night. When she saw the larger blue pick his rider, she smiled and clapped quietly, glad to know someone else had impressed. Then the smile slipped from her face as she saw the bronze and she was sure at least one of the boys he had looked at would be disappointed. When she heard the sad rumble, she made a small sniffling sound.
Ashlyn mine, why are you crying? Did someone hurt you or did I do something? Was I not the dragon you expected?Gyafrith asked gently.
"Hmm, oh no, no one hurt me and it is certainly not you, my dear one. I love you more than words can express, you are precious to me, like I have known you forever. I am just worried about Elephant, hoping he will find his partner. I also feel sorry for the candidates that will not impress today. I have been in their shoes so many times, Gyafrith. It hurts not being picked, at least for me it did those previous times. I thought I must not be good enough,"Ashlyn admitted, having not told many that, but it spilled out so easily with her dragon.
My big brother will be fine, Mine, I know he will. The other candidates, they will be alright, I know it. Oh and you are more than worthy, you are perfect. The other dragons were just not meant for you. I am sorry you felt sad, Ashlyn mine, your Gyafrith will make sure you are not sad,Gyafrith spoke comfortingly, nuzzling her hand.

Tacelon
The Serval bronze was still focused on his green sister, but she lead him towards the Candidates so they could both Impress. That was good of her, that meant the bronze wouldn't spend so much time posing for anyone who would watch. Tacelon wasn't sure if a dragon could be so self-absorbed that it put off Impressing too long, but it seemed to him that the sooner the dragonets Impressed, the better.
A baby's roar drew his eyes sharply back towards the other dragonets to find a blue he hadn't noticed before, probably just hatched. The blue was glaring at a brown who was scratching at another egg. Apparently the blue didn't like having his unhatched sibling bothered. Tacelon wasn't sure why; there didn't seem to be any reason why a hatchling couldn't urge it's sibling to hatch, since that had already happened earlier in this hatching and nobody had seemed to mind, not even the bronze who had been pestered out of his shell.
A shriek and a charge later, and the brown was driven away. He seemed to be a poor sport about it, but an older dragon interjecting made him finally leave. Tacelon watched the grumpy dragonet carefully, but he seemed to have calmed down by the time he got to the Candidates. As the hatchling pushed through the crowd of boys, Tacelon made sure to step aside, but the youngster seemed to have no intentions of bothering anyone, except the boy he jumped on to treat with a rainbow-eyed gaze. Well, that made one more dragonet Tacelon need not worry about, so he turned back towards the sands.
The defender blue was heading towards the Candidates, as well as the big bronze. The blue headed right for the girls, and after a bit of circling, soon found His and Impressed. The bronze seemed to be taking his time though, letting the blue dart ahead while he trod forward at a more steady pace. He kept that same pace as he walked into the cluster of boys, not even stopping to let Candidates step aside and pushing right past them. Even if he wasn't going fast enough to hurt anyone, Tacelon watched the big bronze so he could get out of his way, since he didn't want to be knocked down or anything. The bronze stopped now and then, looking at one boy or another, but his eyes lacked a rainbow swirl and he kept moving on.
Tacelon was so focused on the nearby bronze that he didn't notice the approaching blue until he stopped just outside the cluster of Candidates. He glances over, saw the rainbow-hued eyes focused on someone else, and went back to watching the bronze. The blue had nothing to do with him.

Despite how long he had been on the sands and how much time he had spent searching, Elephant still seemed unconcerned with how long finding his chosen was taking. He had tried searching from a distance and now up close he was finding it no easier. He was too big to navigate through the sea of legs as quickly as his siblings, nor was he able to demand that his walk out to meet him. He could feel his chosen, yes, they were here, but he just couldn’t see them. They were observing those that were coming and going, being sure to stay out of the more reckless hatchlings’ way and stay on his feet. Still he pressed on, pausing at each lad. Halting in front of each one and looking up into their faces. Staring blankly into them, looking deep inside all of them, only to find that they were not the one he was looking for. They were always too much of this or too little of that and in some cases Elephant could not tell why it was they were not right, they simply weren’t. Yet the giant bronze did not lose hope, nor did he panic. His was here; it would simply take time to find them. That made them all the more prized. Once again finding another young lad lacking the large bronze heaved a sigh, turning away from yet another disappointed face. He looked up and scanned the remaining candidates. Perhaps his was not here? But he had felt them. He was certain. True he had not been able to see them, but he had known they were there. Not with his eyes, but even before his brother had forced his way into his shell he had sensed them not far from him. That feeling was still there, but he could not see them. The young dragon stopped among the candidates, finally ceasing his slow and steady movement. Maybe now was not a time to rely on what he could see, but what he could sense. His was here, he could feel them and if he could not see them then hopefully they could see him. Closing his eyes the bronze reached out for the mind he could sense just within reach of his own. I am here. His voice whispered against the edge of his chosen’s mind, a difficult task with nothing solid to cling to, but he would persevere. Mine, I have tried to find you, but I cannot. Please, come to me. I need you. Elephant called out into the emptiness, willing that the one that was his would hear him. Would come to him now and prove it was not a lie.

Tacelon
Tacelon watched the dragonets moving about. There were three on the sands now, two bronzes and a green, as well as four eggs that had yet to hatch. Once of which was the queen egg, who would have no interest in male Candidates at all. It was looking more and more like he would be left standing again, just like the last Hatching. Not that he'd expected anything else, really. What dragon would want him, when there were better people to choose from? It didn't bear thinking about, so he watched the dragonets as if merely an observer. Perhaps next Hatching he'd watch from the stands. He'd get to see the events just as well, and there would be no chance of an angry dragonet getting its claws on him.
As he turned to check if any more eggs were moving, I am here whispered faintly at the edge of his mind. Thinking it was his own thought, he supposed that he was here on the Sands this time and not in the Stands, and he would have to make do. He did have a rather good view of the dragonets, he supposed, and could see them more clearly than many people in the stands. But the whisper at the back of his mind continued, Mine, I have tried to find you, but I cannot. Please, come to me. I need you.
That was certainly not his thought. Tacelon looked around sharply, confused as to where it had come from. A dragon? Dragons often called their rider Mine, he'd heard. But there was no rainbow-hued eyes turned towards him, not even and dragons looking at him. the Serval bronze was still admiring his sister, the green was still leading him on and the Elephant bronze was just standing there, eyes closed and not looking at anyone.
Feeling his rider focus on him, the big bronze said, Mine, surely you see me now. Come find me, so we may be together.
Tacelon had been looking at the closer bronze just before that voice appeared in his head. It was a stronger voice this time, not just a faint whisper, more like someone speaking from down a hallway. He stared and the hatchling among the Candidates, but didn't come any closer. I mist be imagining things, he answered without thinking, and without speaking. People would think he was crazy if he answered his own thoughts out loud. Or you must be mistaken. You must want someone else. I'm nobody and probably don't even deserve to be here.
As his rider's voice answered, the bronze could feel the boy's mind better. Yes, that was the one, and closer than he'd thought. Why had he been so hard to find when he was right there? Of course you deserve to be here. Everyone is someone, and you are mine. I would not make a mistake, not when I spent to long looking and considering. Such things can not be rushed. Now he was sure of where his rider was, and turned his head to face the boy. He opened his eyes to turn eyes swirling with rainbows on Tacelon. Now, come to your Donricath. You do not need to distance yourself any longer.
Tacelon could not deny that those glorious eyes were looking straight into his, or that there was a sudden presence in his mind that somehow felt like it should have been there all along. But he still didn't believe it. But you're a bronze! Why would a bronze want me, of all people?
Because you are mine, Donricath answered simply. I would not want someone who his not mine. Now, please do come here. I would like to greet you properly, and then eat. I do not like to rush things, but and empty stomach does need to be filled sooner rather than later.
Finally Tacelon took a half-stumbling step towards his dragon, then another. (How could a dragon be his? But he was, somehow.) Moving almost as slowly as the bronze had before as he traveled through the Candidates, Tacelon came closer, while far up above, he heard his flit Descant bugling the joy he still didn't know how to express. Somehow he managed to reach the bronze hatchling without falling over, and looked down at the dragonet who looked calmly up at him. He felt he should do something, but didn't know what. Laugh? Cry? Hug the astounding creature who somehow found him worthy? He settled for reaching out a hand to rest on Donricath's head.
The dragonet nudged the hand a bit, a tiny nuzzle. I am glad you are here at last. Now, If we could get some food, please?
Tacelon nodded. Yes, it would not do for you to be hungry. I'll make sure you never are. And without the word, the two turned and headed towards the feeding tables. They did nor rush, for Donricath did not need to and he did not think his rider would be up to speeding up just yet anyway. He had time to let His process the idea, and for now it was good to feel His with him.
