Molan had been wandering randomly at the moment, not truly having any specific place to be. He felt he'd been to most of the booths, minus a few. There was this one... with... things. He'd seen one following Andrew and... well he didn't want one to follow him around. So he'd sort of avoided it. But he'd been to most.
And yet here he was, at one of the first he'd been to. That candy... did he dare? The boil watched the bowl carefully before slowly taking one of the bright colorful items from it. He hadn't dared to touch it since the first one sent him on a trip to happy land and back. Yet it seemed to inviting, so harmless.
What was the worst that could happen? He slowly, hesitantly ate the thing, and briefly after regretted those thoughts.
Right, there was the worst that could happen. The world was a rainbow of colors again, and his good friend the polkadot squirrel was back.
...at least he realized some of this was just in his head this time.
He quickly flipped out his phone at that point and sent one quick, simple, text to his brother. A warning. Because really, staying away from it was the best course of action.Kanth Text to Etzer: ...really should avoid that candy from now on. Remind me later. Azmodel's eye was attracted by the colourful display of sweets, and coincidently her feet decided to bring her closer to the bowl.
Free candy ?
Now that was interesting ! Taking a pink one -it seemed to be the color humans prefer to associate with Scarentines- she sniffed it and deemed the sweet eatable.
Well it wasn't very tasty, but harmless. At least she supposed so. She didn't feel any effects from the candy but people were starting to look at the valkyrie funny. Did she have a bubble with an "?" in it or what?

Free candies for today. They were looked sweet. He couldn't resist temptations of sweet scent.
He had never got good result with this candy, but he decided to challenge again. Who know if he eat normal strawberry candy?
He picked up pink candy and ate it.
Umm, it was strawberry candy as he thought.
Suddenly he saw somewhat moving. He stretch his hand to catch it.
It was small buttwings! This candy was not bad.

Azmodel was back. Sure last time she ate a candy from here something strange happened. But maybe it was the only strange sweet in the bowl?
Plus, who could resist free candies??? Not the ghoul !
And jack damn it ! It happened again ! She didn't feel any different but people were staring... Really there must be something wrong with those sugary treats.

She walked passed the booth and glanced something in the corner of her eye. Is that candy, she thought to herself. Well, the note say I should take one and so she did.
Nothing happened, she thought disappointedly. Well lets move on. She never noticed the people looking and giggle at her.

Take a candy? Don't mind if she does ... Chaya sneaked a peek at the lepus guide to see if it was going to object. It didn't. She snatched a candy out of the bowl and danced a few feet back, feeling very much like she'd gotten away with something, even though the sign had instructed her to do exactly what she'd done.
The candy vanished in a single gulp, and then the spectral hound's head tilted slowly to the side as she realized that she could see strings attached to creeple. There were even a few winding around her, and she tried grabbing for them, only to find that her hand went straight through them.
She sneaked back over to the booth. "What are these strings?" she asked the lepus.
"Did you know that you can take a free candy?" it asked back.
"I just did, and then I started seeing funny things," she informed it.
"Did you know that you're welcome to eat a candy from the bowl?"
"But I just - I asked you a question ... ?" Chaya's tail drooped.
"Did you know that nobody places quality controls on free candy?"
Chaya edged back a few steps. Ooookay, maybe she wasn't going to get anything useful out of the lepus ...

He saw free candy booth. With hot body, he decided to walk around a bit during taste candy.
He picked up green one. Green? Maybe melon. He thought.
He ate it. Well, nothing different, he murmured. It was good news.
He started to walk. Suddenly he noticed the bubble made, left of his head. It was looked like emotion bubble. No way. Now the bubble showed angry feeling.
He ran out of there.

Ragnorak knew that she probably shouldn't have more candy, because bad things happened...really bad things. But she really just couldn't help herself...really.
Popping another in her mouth, she waited to see what would happen.

Phone in hand, and a little down, Olivia passed by the candy booth as the rest of the festival seemed to be packing up behind her. The booth still seemed standing as if untouched and the bowl of candy remained.
Couldn't hurt to take one last piece of candy before she headed back to her dorm, she figured, and dipped her hand in and placed it in her mouth without much of a care.
Her eyes popped open, as if a burst of energy came over her. There were spots and colors she hadn't noticed before. And it was like the overwhelming sadness was replaced by ... more sadness but happiness all at the same time. Everything looked so wonderful, rainbows with dark chocolate rain coming down in the distance and happy singing little grumkins dancing around her while her body felt the biggest compulsion to cry even though there was no ability to.
Olivia turned her head, confused at the rest of the booth. And for the first time, noticing Argyle. Had... he always been there? Like, the whole time? Or was he brought on by the effects of this specific candy. Or with all the bustle of the festival as it was, did he somehow blend into everything, going unnoticed? The wight gave him an awkward sort of smile, didn't say a word because she wasn't sure he was real. Because a lot of things that hadn't been were suddenly there.
Blinking like a few times, the ghoul turned her heels and walked back to the dorms. Though, she was unsure how that was going to go. At least she'd make it there in good times with the rate she was walking.

It was the last day of the funny festival, AJ had to say he enjoyed it so much. Now, he knew it was for lover to celebrate, albeit he didn't have someone he loved yet. It was fun, he met some new friends and got a lot of tasty foods, and prizes back. He unconsciously passed by a booth with candies and tossed one into his mouth, too good his mood that he didn't realize it was the booth that gave him the shipping vision. Sin passed the candy booth. He reminded something. He was embarrassed since his bubble emotion and cute buttwings. It was really fun, he giggled.
This year's Scarentines was so unforgetable.

Since all the booths were starting to close up now, Astra quickly did a last check of ones she had not visited to try and grab some last minutes goodies. And one of the last booths ended up being the free candy one, so she couldn't miss out on her last chance for free candy!
Landing in front of the booth, the fae took a piece and ate it happily, savoring the sweet taste in her mouth. Though as soon as she ate it she felt something...weird. Like there was something else on her back beside her wings...
turning around to look at herself, she was startled to see a tiny set of wings. On her butt. Of course they were a bright red and clashed with her clothing. She frowned at this new pair of wings, which moved of their own accord. She didn't need a second pair, especially on her butt.

Kari stared at the basket sitting by its lonesome at the seemingly abandoned booth. It still had quite a few candies within. Figuring that she had nothing better to do, she took one of the candies and popped it into her mouth. After all, the thought bubble hadn't been so bad, so what else could happen? Kari waited to see if she noticed any changes. She had the same chalky taste in her mouth as before, but didn't feel any different. Looking herself over, she saw no noticeable changes. Could it be that... She looked up to see the thought bubble once again floating lazily above her. Inside it was an ellipses mirroring her disbelief. What were the chances that she'd end up with another thought bubble. "Do all the candies do this?", she murmured as the bubble's contents slowly shifted into a question mark. Letting out a sigh, she walked away from the booth, figuring that even with the thought bubble hovering around her, she probably wouldn't run into anyone else for it to matter.
