It was down to bargaining. all it meant was that now it was possible and not flat out refusal. Tseng was getting worked over. the sudden interest in trades had him scratching his chin in thought. "You will earn my friendship." He hoped the cheesy grin was enough to make it look believable. (*´艸`*) Go away bubble.

Tseng squinted at Damien to the best of his ability. It wasn't easy considering the positioning. "Your friendship? Truly?" he asked. That... face the bubble was making. Was it laughing at him? His eyes narrowed, not quite believing the hellhound just yet.

It happened, it finally happened. Damien was riding Tseng into the sunset. "Wheeeee!" (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) it was unexpected that the boil would fall for it. so easily too, but the hellhound was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. nope, he was just going to appreciate its buttwings. ((Exit))

The event was live and he wandered in, curious. There was a lot going on and colors everywhere along with people. He kept his tail tucked close to as to not accidently set anything or anyone on fire.
Oh… is that candy? Andrew’s sighs were set on the pink one, the sign did say. Having very little self-control, Andrew wandered over and took one, popping it into his mouth. Mmmm. The sugar was nice and the chalky feeling settled well onto his tongue. Perfect, except… he felt a little funny.

Oh, Scarentines. Typically, this time of year was an atrocious experience for the Lotus Eater, but this time things would be different. They'd be different for so many reasons: the Lotuses of Conquest and her friendship with Faussi and Olivia had been the key and it had only been the beginning. Finally, inheriting her alternate universe self... even if it felt like such a distant experience she could hardly remember... had pushed the Lotus Eater into something she'd never understood but always craved.
Actually caring for another. And instead of disappearing like she had from everyone else's lives, this time, it seemed like she could stick around. And it seemed like... for the first time, these terrifying feelings were reciprocated. It made them feel a lot more pleasant, and less terrifying altogether.
She was waiting for Zel, for their date. Her first date ever. And as she was waiting, she approached the candy bowl and idly picked one up to nibble on it. And the candy she ate made her feel very different, though she couldn't put a finger on it until--
Oh my jack, had Amityville always been this beautiful? Amarus stood there, snatching at the floating lights she could see.
And she giggled, quietly, as she thought that she closed one in her palm, only to open it and find nothing there. That was what she did, for about ten minutes: stand beside the bowl of candy, smiling widely and energetically trying to catch shining lights that were invisible to anyone else??

Wow… everything sparkled. He flame burned a little hotter, and he grinned off into space. Sure he felt weird but it wasn’t that unpleasant. Everything was just beautiful. Everything. Just… he watched a small bat with rainbow colored wings flutter by. Today was a good day! Now for him to go have fun. He wandered from the table with a goofy grin on his face, not even noticing the little critter staring off into space.

Zel had never really done the scarentines thing, his parents didn't really believe in it for one - preferring to show their affection in other ways. Regardless it seemed like a bit of harmless fun, and when he'd discovered the free candy he snagged one and popped one in his mouth.
He should know better than to take free sweets - first the drug laced cupcakes at the picnic...
He spotted Amarus and moved over to snag her to start their first date.
He didn't even notice the small, pale-pink buttwings that had appeared on his behind.

Like the Red Envelopes a few days prior, the events of Scarentine's was whispered throughout the school. She had seen the grams, even managing to send some out herself without fulling understanding it all. But now, seeing the booths in all their glory was ... rather awe inspiring to the young ghoul. So much color wasn't always what Olivia say on her day to day, prior to coming to Amityville and really the only other time she had seen such an array might have been on the Islands of the Horsemen. But, this was something else.
Her eyes were filled with wonder as she passed by a few of them, all filled with activities that she was bound and determined to do later. All the colors, all the.. huh, so much pink... and all the fun things to win. - Oh hey, did that say free? Olivia's eyes lit up at the words and she made her way over to the booth. It was candy.
Huh.
Gingerly, she plucked out one of the pieces unsure of what to do with it. She looked over, watching as someone placed it in their mouth prompting her to do the same.
And made a face. Taste buds were dead and long gone and she was unsure of what the sensation was that hit her. And if what hit her was because of the free thing. She blinked for a moment, clearing the spots from her eyes but then didn't notice much anything after. Well, at first anyways.

Amarus only stopped snatching at the glowing lights because she saw Olivia. She'd received the ghoul's gram, but... seeing her there, Amarus wasn't sure that she was seeing the truth. Was she hallucinating all of this? The bright lights, the beautiful colours.
Amarus booked it over to the ghoul, and immediately attempted to scoop her up in a spinny hug of sugar-rush doom. "YOU MADE IT," she addressed her, exultant. Amarus looked much the same as last they'd seen one another, but she was so much more... energetic. Alive-looking. Animated.
She spotted her ... well, she spotted Zel and waved him over. "Zel! This is Olivia," she said. "Olivia, this is my date, Zel." Amarus promptly noticed the butt-wings, and her eyes went wide. She clapped her hands together and bounded over to stroke the feathers, giggling.
She was clearly on a lot of sugar right now. A lot of it.

Another booth.
This one was serving candies in bowl, with a card written something. AJ came closer to read what was on it.
Take one? The candy?
He also noticed a small writting on the card, so sneaky? He quinted his eyes to make out the sentence. A - Hint - Of - Things - To - Come.........
"CANDDDDDDDDDDDY!"
Oosp. Too late. The head can't wait and snapped onto one of the heart shaped candy.
Very good, brother. AJ gave the head a frown. Let's see what "things" would happen.

Zel had moved over to Amarus and Olivia quickly bowing his head to the other ghoul with a chuckle. "Pleasure to meet you Olivia," He blinked a moment at Amarus. She was so... Energetic! Not that this was a bad thing, he just wasn't used to seeing his hopefully-soon-to-be-ghoulfriend in such a high energy state. Again, he didn't mind. That is - until she started to stroke at his butt. His brow shot up quickly and he turned his head and groaned a little. Buttwings? Really? Well he should have learned by now that free things weren't always safe to imbibe. Chuckling a little, he leaned down and grabbed Mar by the hips, and lifting her up onto his shoulder he held her in a fireman's carry and nodded to Olivia. "I hope you don't mind if I steal her - we are kind of due for a date."

Nothing at first, but then she heard the sound of bells and turned just in time to feel warms wrap around her small frame and her world start to spin. Olivia had no idea who this was now (how many people wore bells anyways) but the voice, that voice! "Aa!" She exclaimed, surprised. She knew it, but the tone still sounded a bit different than what she remembered. Had it always been so... animated?
But, for now it didn't matter because it was Amarus and Olivia could only smile brightly at the other ghoul. "Amarus!" The gram alerting her presence had worked - she didn't have anyone's phone number anymore after all.
It was then that she saw it, a faint glowing red string between her friend and whom Amarus was calling over. Olivia stared at it, curious what it was and when it had gotten there. Was this something new her friend had acquired, along with a hyper personality? She reached out, trying to touch it but her hand simply passed through it as if it wasn't really there. "Why is there a string?" She asked.
Oh wait. Olivia turned her attention from the puzzling string to those present in front of her. "Hello," she greeted Zel, "it's nice to meet you to!" Why was there a string between them? Would there be an answer provided for her even as this new mysterious boil that wasn't Faus then picked up the lotus eater?
Her head tilted, puzzled. Date? It never occurred to the little wight that this was a romantic holiday, even as all the couples and all the couple based signs were literally everywhere. "Oh, um... have fun?"
