I think I was invited. Yeah. I was invited.
What else do you do besides write?:
I draw. I mentioned my tumblr url before and my dA account. You can find some of my drawings there, though I don't usually upload a lot of good art. I mostly do fanart for my fandoms (check out my profile to see my fandoms), but the vast majority of my time is spent on Sherlock.
For example (warning, large images because I'm too lazy to scale):
I'm a student.
I also watch too much British telly, do martial arts, read classics, memorize Shakespeare, play the guitar, sing, and eat lots and lots of food. Yep. That's me.

How did you find the guild?: Posted on one of Gaia's fanfiction forums, and the next morning I found an invitation.
What else do you do besides write?: For the most part, I play video games. I cook, do work around the house, draw, surf the web, and have had no luck in finding a job. And I'm still into Yu-Gi-Oh! Haven't been able to duel anyone recently, aside from an AI, but I like the deck I built.

What else do you do?: IIIIiiii used to draw a lot? I wore out that interest though so I'm writing to try and reclaim that artistic skill. u v u" I like to sing and listen to music. . . jam out. Yeah.

I was invited much to my surprise.
What else do you do besides write?
Drawing... a lot. In fact you can usually find me in Art Freebies throwing out pictures to people.
I also read, watch TV / Anime, tumblr and play video games on occasion. I used to be an avid Role player as well.
Currently an unemployed introvert.

What else do you do besides write?: I live a busy lifestyle, and the only reason I've been able to get online or write lately is because I'm holed in with this stupid polar vortex! I am in janitorial services (fun, right?) at night, but a volunteer ministry servant during the day! Other than that my hobbies are writing and drawing and writing... did I say writing?

What else should you know about me? Well, this isn't my primary gaia account, but it's hard for me to say which one really is. They each serve a specific purpose, but I've forgotten a bit what exactly those purposes are... haha. In any case, it's a bit of a fragmentation of who I am, and a way to protect myself online, by keeping various facts about myself restricted to one place or another, but not all easily accessible from one account. What I do know about my PrettyKoala avatar is that she isn't involved in my career or my main hobbies, so I'm not going to talk about those (unless I mention teaching, which was something I did briefly a while back and doesn't have anything to do with what I'm passionate about). Actually, it's a miracle really that I'm even sharing this much! I don't usually let people in on my online segmentation.
I wanted to share that with you, however, even though I don't know you yet. I will disappear every once in a while for months on end. It depends on whether I feel like coming to gaia at all, and also on which aspect of me I feel like entertaining when I do come here (as I said, PrettyKoala doesn't embody my main passion, nor my main hobbies). If you really want to get in touch with me for whatever reason, send me a pm, and I'll get back to you when I read it (which might not be right away). I promise, I will get back to you at some point.
Why did I join this guild? Because I've suddenly become rather inspired in the fanfiction world again lately (by lately, I mean over the past several months... almost a year really), after a 4-year or so hiatus (well, I don't think I've been this active since 2006 or 2007 really, but I did post something in 2009). All my posted stories are complete. Most of them are one-shots or poems. I've got a handful of chaptered fics posted. I'm working on a number of one-shots for a challenge I started last year and a number of chaptered fics, some newly inspired, others that I've been working on since... 2002? Yeah, thereabouts. I intend to completely write the stories before posting anything, because I'd rather not leave anyone on a ridiculously long hiatus, and I want to finish everything I start.
Uh, I'm sure there are other things I could say, but since this is just supposed to be an introduction, I'm sure I'll get more of that out there later!
