1192 Hakase Hei Jūnibantai Taichō "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." In response to Elisia's greeting, Hei gave her his momentary attention, which was little more than a blank stare before he turned away and eased himself down near Yuki. As he was thrown into a mini-trance by his sister's delicate touch, Hei remained stationary, none the wiser to Elisia's farewell which was punctuated by her abrupt removal of herself from the building. In the interest of maintaining contact with her as long as possible, he rose to his feet just as she did, and remained quiet and content until she pulled her hand away to adjust Senka. The smiling infant held his attention up until the point that Yuki leaned close enough that he could smell the lavender scent of her shampoo, and then requested that he talk to Elisia. With little more than a curt nod to signify that he understood what she desired, he tensed up as he shoulder hit his, and watched her walked away while appreciating the "show" that he got, but nonetheless rolling his eyes internally at her teasing nature. Once she was gone, Hei turned slowly to the double doors that lead to the adjoining lot of his apartment complex, and he took in the sight of multiple people outside congregating. He shifted his weight and began to saunter down the hallway leading to the doors, with little more than an indifferent expression stretched across his face. By the time he reached the door, he could feel a child creeping under the door and passing over his bare feet as it filtered into the hallway. He would have to have that fixed. For a moment, he stood perfectly still staring out at those in the lot. Across the surface of his eyes, three blue concentric lines around his pupil took shape within his iris, indicating the special property of his new eyes. With these eyes, he was granted a 360 degree field of vision, along with the ability to view others through different X-Ray settings. Among those settings was a visible display of emotions represented by a haze of color that coordinated with the emotion. It was really advanced stuff to get i to work, so he had not even brought it up to anyone for unwillingness to enter a conversation that would end with the recipient being more confused.
For a moment, he did nothing more than tab the emotions of those present; Elisia's unease, Nu's raging curiosity, Tadashi's lingering anger, Suzume's anger and despair, and lastly, Tetsunosuke's obvious anger, which he could see was represented by a dark black haze around him, several dozen feet away in a park elsewhere. Once he was done with his experiment, the three lines died out and faded after he shut his eyes and opened them again. Hei moved his left hand from inside his Shihakushō's baggy sleeve and wrapped his slender, elegant fingers around the horizontal bar midway up, and applied a little pressure to it to push it open, allowing him to step out onto the sidewalk. Though he was struck by light winds that rustled his Shihakushō, his hair remained mostly intact, though the three groups of hair that extended from the inside of the Kenseikan on the top of his head were particularly affected. His bare feet struck cold pavement, but he did not appear to be bothered by this at all, as he did not recoil, but instead continued to advance towards Elisia while treating everyone else like they were non-existent. By this time, his hand had disappeared back inside his sleeve, and he was looming over Elisia once he reached her and Nu. Hei expected that his mere presence was enough for Elisia to pay attention to him, and going off that expectation alone, he dove right into what he was "supposed" to tell her. He slipped his hand from his sleeve and extended a finger in her direction as he began to speak. "Family or not, I still have expectations of you. Your consistent worry hinders me. Your worry begets Tsukiko's worry, and her worry affects her mother. When Yuki is not well, my household is not pleasant. I enjoy relations with her, and I enjoy peace and quiet. So, you may take this as my warning to you, girl; either shape up, or I shall administer the proper drugs to make you feel like you have not a care in the world."
Of course, Yuki had been searching for him to be gentler, but that was not his style in the slightest. He was blunt to a fault when others were involved. Certainly he saw Elisia as part of the family and as such extended his good graces to her, but he had yet to distinguish her from others when it came to his mannerisms. That was simply something that would take time. And as typical of Hei, he quickly assumed that what he said would fix everything. Sparing her a final glance, Hei lowered his hand and promptly vanished on the spot, reappearing on the roof as he did not feel like walking up three flights of stairs. Ignoring Hibiki, Blake, and Eriko, Hei slipped inside the door on the roof, went down to the third floor and sauntered down the hall until he reached his apartment, which he entered to the sight of Yuki and Senka at the table. Naturally his stiffness and disdain for the general population melted away from his face as he took on a softer expression while making his way to the table and sitting down. "Consider it taken care of." He said in passing as he looked towards Yuki and then shot his attention to little Senka who was reaching for the food on the table. Hei pointed his chopstick in her direction and shook his head. "Absolutely not. I just fed you two and a half hours ago, and I believe you had access to that chest right after mommy woke up. You've had plenty of food, and I'm sure you can wait until your sister can feed you." As he said 'chest' he jabbed his chopstick in Yuki's direction to punctuate his statement, then returned them to his rice before polishing that off in record time. He ate fast, and there was really no reason why. He flipped his attention back to her once more when she let out a cry of disdain, prompting him to shake his head. "You can scream all you want to there, dear, but I'm not going to change my mind." She let out another cry and Hei quickly returned the favor with his own cry, slightly teasing her, but it was in good fun. She was taken aback at this, literally recoiling and casting him a look that said she thought he was crazy. "What? I can scream too. If it's a screaming match you want, I can deliver. Senka continued to eyeball him curiously for the next minute or so before switching gears and breaking out into a fit of giggles. Hei nudged his head in her direction while looking at Yuki. "She got that from you, I swear." He said with a chuckle.

Hibiki Kirisho - Squad Nine Captain - ================================================
The gods trembled The demons flockedLiking hollowfication to a disease was as exact as one could get to comparing it, thought Hibiki as he listened to Akane. For some reason, Hibiki felt solace in what Akane said, no doubt cancer was much more horrific that what he was experiencing, but as the man said, some still had the courage to face it unyielding to it. Although he was now much more confident in himself, he only smirked at Akane’s statement of him being an excellent Vizard Captain. As a Captain he was average at best, for him to suddenly rise through the ranks would require a miracle no less than planetary alignment.
Mention of the word kiss, caused Hibiki to give Akane a puzzled look, as if to say ‘Wait, what?’ as the man explained it to be an acronym, Hibiki chuckled to himself, struggling not to become to boisterous in his laughter ”True, true, she might get a cold. replied Hibiki as Akane started to go back down, carrying Suzume over his shoulder. Waving back, Hibiki smiled and replied back ”Yeah, I’ll remember. It’d be hard not to.” breathing an immense sigh of relief, Hibiki leaned back on the rooftop’s railing. It’s as if a great weight had been lifted from him, and everything was just suddenly so peaceful.
So peaceful in fact that the Captain started to fall asleep, which in retrospect was quite to his disadvantage, as when he awoke to the sound made by ERIS and Blake, he awoke to the sudden appearance of Blake near him. Sheer astonishment was written on his face as he hadn’t expected someone to suddenly appear near him. As Blake conversed with ERIS, Hibiki’s face slowly gave way to exasperation, as he realized they were having a race, something Hibiki found to be a tad bit childish thing to do at this time and place. However, his train of thought was interrupted by the sudden thunder crack created by ERIS. As the two confronted each other, Hibiki found himself slowly falling off the railing due to his surprised reaction at ERIS’ thunder crack. Flipping over the railing, Hibiki managed to grab hold of the railing and started to pull himself back, before realizing he could simply air walk back up. After doing so, he sat back down on the rooftop, just as Blake went back to greet him.
Eyeing the man a bit, Hibiki sighed as he gave a quick wave in his direction ”Can’t complain, can’t complain. How about you, Captain Reeves? You seem to be quite energetic.” replied Hibiki, speaking in English as he found out that the man knew both English and Japanese. And seeing as how his name sounded more western than eastern, Hibiki decided to opt to using a western dialect. Despite his name being Japanese, Hibiki was quite well-versed in English, which wouldn’t be a surprise, as he lived in the heart of an English speaking country. As Hei appeared upon the rooftop, Hibiki spared him a quick glance, waiting if the man was going to say anything or simply just stand there. Before even a second passed, the man opened the rooftop door and made his way back down, which seemed odd with Hibiki. But what was odder, still, was the fact that he managed to prevent himself from throwing some nearby projectile at the man, either it was because he was feeling at ease with himself because of Akane's pep talk, or because he was still a bit surprised by Blake and ERIS' race was unknown even to him.

Before she could answer Elisia, large crashing sounds seemed to resonate throughout the room, only to be explained by the newest captain, Blake. Instead of taking the stairs, he chose to jump off the balcony....typical of the man. She swore he has a child trapped in a grown man's body. Although, now that she thought about it, if not for their visit for Tsukiko and herself, he could have stayed there for who knows how long, so she rationed he could be wild for a while longer. "Morning Blake, how are-" Her perfect English was interrupted by another crash, this time being his mechanical spirit, which seemed equally as child-like, Nu finally connecting the dots in that they were playing some sort of game....in their home. "Ne ne, this isn't the place for stuff like that, try to act more prop-!" Again it seemed like she was interrupted, as Blake and his spirit ran off without so much as a look back, leaving Nu to promptly place her hand to her face, shaking her head left to right slowly. "Sometimes I feel like this is more of a playground, ne?" Turning to her, she realized that Elisia asked her a question on her strange behavior. It seemed Nu failed to hide her worries over Lee very well, but a miracle came in the form of someone who she was rather surprised to see.
"Hold on for a sec, looks like someone wants to chat with you Elisia."
Pointing to the ever moving Hei, she could only close her eyes as Hei "chatted" with her daughter in law. Nu was sure, somewhere.....very deep down, that Hei accepted Elisia as part of the family, but he sometimes conveyed his love in a combination of sweet and yet bitter talks. Watching as he walked away/ she quickly opened her eyes and placed a hand on Elisia's shoulder, offering a smile. "Y'know, in his own way, I think he is trying to cheer you up.....in his own way of course~" With a more straight posture that resembled Hei in only the vaguest sense, she stared at her friend with intimidating eyes and a low, monotone voice. Her rendition was horrible, but that was the point. For anyone else, she would sooner kill them then do this stunt, but if it was for her, she would do it gladly.
"Ah, Elisia-san, please try not to worry so much. Just relax and everything will go smoothly- Is what he is trying to say, I think."
With a playful wink, she took her friend to the seat she was sitting on, letting her sit as Nu stood, looking rather bored with herself. Crossing her arms behind her had, she stared at the ceiling, blowing a stray hair from her head as she did do. "I'm good, maybe too stressed is all, and you shouldn’t worry so much y'know?" With that she looked back to her friend and hid her worries behind a grin. Slapping her worries and anxiety away, she bent to one knee, being eye to eye with Elisia, as she pulled on her cheeks teasingly. "Ne ne, you still on that veggie diet? Yer almost skin and bones as it is Elisia-chan!" As is to prove this, she began to repeatedly poke her best friend in the stomach, laughing as she did so. It was by then that she began to realize that she must look rather odd at the moment. Elisia was practically the only one who she could openly tease in such a manner, and it was a rather stark difference to the icy cold persona she often used when around others. Shrugging, she continued her attacks, she'll return to her harsher Captain role later. Sometimes she needed to let out some steam, even if that steam was the urge to do non characteristic things.

⋆⋆⋆∥ HAKASE xELISIA ☇【 yonbantaixTAICHO 】 “A playground’s an understatement for that,” she chimed in fast and fluent Japanese, hoping that if Blake was still in hearing range, he wouldn’t be able to understand what she was saying sometimes. Nu was shaking her head in disbelief at the actions of Blake and ERIS and while Elisia understood the feeling, she always sort of envied them. It was nice to be able to run around carefree in that manner. The battle might change all that though, though she sincerely wished that it wouldn’t. Things had gotten quite lively with the addition of Blake, and his spirit if one counted ERIS as well, and Senka. Hopefully, things might calm down a little but for some reason, she doubted it. Then again, having a child around made her feel younger and it was a clean break from all the fighting. This child would grow up a little strange, of course, due to the outside influences but she was sure that Senka would be able to deal quite well. Tapping a foot, she flicked a strand of her hair from her face, her emerald-coloured eyes boring into Nu as she waited for an answer to her question about the strange behaviour she had been seeing recently. Perhaps it was a problem with her Vizard or something like that? After all, having one zanpakuto spirit was quite chaotic in her own mind, although it had been quieter recently, and having a malignant self inside the mind would never be good for anyone.
If that was the case, what could she do in this situation? In spite of everything, she did not know personally what it was like and thus, couldn’t offer very sound advice to Nu about dealing and coping with it. The others with Vizards would most likely not be able help, since Tetsunosuke was holding a clear grudge to her at the moment, Hibiki was dealing with his own stress over the fact that he was a Vizard himself and Hideki…well, he could be a potential help. At first, she had been rather scared of Hideki as with all 12th Division members when he was still in that Division, but as time progressed, she found that he wasn’t as bad as people portrayed him as. Remembering the familiar gesture that he always did in poking her forehead with his fingers, she half-smiled, pleased by the fact that she had managed in some way, to get closer to other people. Drifting lost in her thoughts as usual, she lifted her head in an inquisitive manner as she heard Nu’s comment about someone wanting to talk to her and followed the finger to see where the girl was pointing at. She almost instinctively and minutely withdrew into her shell of protection, her mouth form a small ‘o’. His existence had become less scary to her, yet when he was approaching her directly like that, she couldn’t help but feel this was something bad. It was rare that something was good and it was better to not be disappointed at all by silly optimism. This was one of the rare people that she fully paid attention to all the time, since she knew that she had been criticized several times by him about her lack of alertness and the time she spent in her mind.
Flinching automatically as the finger was pointed in her direction, she listened intently, before stuttering in reply, “Um…um…v-v-v-very well, I will do as you say, shuuto-san.” Obviously frightened by the threats that he said, as she was completely sure that he would go as far as something like that, she bowed her head, not moving until Hei had completely vanished. She let out a long sigh as soon as he was gone, a sad look appearing on her face as she realized the fact that most likely, Yuki or Tsukiko would have talked to him about that, most likely Yuki from his speech, since Hei was not one to talk to her about something like that unless one of the others said something first. Irritated at herself and her lack of an ability to stop herself from worrying, she turned around in surprise to see Nu’s smile as she felt a pressure on her shoulder. “That’s a very weird way to cheer people up,” she said in a confused tone, before watching her friend with interest in her eyes. While Nu did not really manage to do a very good imitation of Hei, she giggled at the stance, eyes and voice that she used before bursting into peals and peals of laughter, unable to control herself any longer. She didn’t really know why, perhaps it was because her apparently serious friend – whom, according to rumours, was the dreaded Captain of the Assassination Squad – had done something as silly as that for her. It was also touching in a way, to know that the people around her cared so much.
Clutching her sides as the laughter kicked in, she let herself sit down, before wiping tears of laughter from her eyes. “Nu-chan, I must say, you have a knack for humour sometimes,” she replied in a choked voice, catching her breath from all the laughter. However, her laughter and good mood abruptly died as Nu spoke, saying that she was stressed. Telling herself not to worry anymore, she was unable to stop herself from asking, “Stressed by what? Is everything alright? You can tell me, you know.” As her friend teased her about her vegetarian diet while pulling her cheeks and poking her in the stomach, she pulled a childish face, pouting in the most silly manner. “I’m not that skinny, you know!” she protested, “And I’m off that ‘veggie diet’, or whatever – Tsuki told me it wasn’t very good for my health.” Deciding that it was about time to tease back, she waggled her fingers in Nu’s face, before speaking in a manner that was as if she was telling Nu off for something bad, “I wonder what those members of your Squad would say, dearest Nu-chan, if they saw their beloved Captain behaving this way,” she leaned over and ruffled Nu’s hair before continuing with a cheeky grin on her face, “I’m sure they would be oh-so-scared by this personality of yours, and I thought you had a scary reputation to uphold?” ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

1061 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
Yuki pulled a face when Hei mentioned that Senka already "had access to that chest," like touching privileges were something he was being deprived of. Even if he didn't mean it that way, it held an air of truth to it since she was somewhat tender there recently, so she had staved off his advances with the bottom of her foot to his face. Yuki had certainly let him do other things, but she reasoned he probably had some sort of withdrawals at this point. Her mild annoyance shifted to a small form of pity, realizing that Hei had said this unconsciously and not with the intent to make her feel bad. With that in mind, she let the subject fall from her mind after promising herself that she would make an effort to let him do as he pleased, and would deal with the discomfort in order to make Hei happy, which she loved being able to do. The minutes passed as she amusedly watched the exchange between Hei and Senka, shrugging honestly at Hei when he said that Senka got the ability to switch from discontent to happy in an instant and without provocation. It was true, and it couldn't be helped. She finished her meal relatively quickly and once Hei had finished as well, she cleared the table and put the dishes in the sink. She would get Tsukiko to clean them later, since she wouldn't be doing much else than watching Senka.
After a moment or two of her leaning against the kitchen counter, she slid over to Hei and eased herself into his lap. Yuki moved her hands to the back of his head and pulled his face into her chest while she ran her fingers through his hair lovingly for a bit. Though she was experiencing discomfort, she endured it for the sake of entertaining Hei before they left. "I'm proud of you, you know, for accepting all of this when you didn't have to." She pulled his head away, and gave him a soft smile while her eyes roved all over his face and torso. Then she dipped her mouth to his and kissed him deeply, moving her left hand to his robes, bunching them in her palm while she moved her fingers through his hair and did unspeakable things with her tongue. She broke her passionate kiss a moment later and touched her forehead to his. "I always had faith in you; that you'd do the right thing, because I see what others don't. You will get through this, okay? We all will, then we will return to our normal life and raise our little girl." After kissing him once more for reassurance, she pulled away, and then rose to her feet before disappearing into their room without letting him say anything in response. Truthfully, she didn't want to have to hear it, because it was hard enough that she had to lock her own brother up for what he had done earlier, and having to talk about it any more than was necessary only made it worse. He had made it slightly easier by agreeing to it right off the bat, especially since he technically couldn't be tried for something he did while outside of the jurisdiction of the Central 46.
But, for whatever reason he had decided upon, he had agreed with her when she mentioned that he had to be punished when they got back. She was well aware it would have normally been dealt with immediately, but she couldn't very well put him in prison and leave the current Vizard Captains to train by themselves. Not to mention they had no prison. It was hard on her because she was well aware that others thought that she was playing favorites by not doing anything to him, so it must have been even harder on Hei who would have to shoulder her guilt as well. Hei had told her to talk to them about it, but she refused since she didn't think it would make a difference. By her reasoning, anyone that had a problem with her inaction would still not be satisfied because they held that much disdain for Hei, and her standing up for herself and him would only make it worse. Whether that was the case or not wasn't the issue, since calling more anger to her family was not something she was willing to gamble. So, she bore it, with Hei to assist her at the same time.
Once she was inside the room, she quickly gathered her uniform and put it on, studying herself in the mirror for a moment or two before putting on her various accessories. She stopped when she reached her wedding ring, and toyed with it for a moment before slipping her finger inside the hole and whisking herself from the room. Yuki figured Hei wouldn't try to respond to her last statements since her hastened exit had sent a pretty clear non-verbal massage that she was done with it. For a moment, she lingered in the kitchen while she put her hair up and into a single braid that put it at the base of her butt and while she did so, she spoke to Hei around the hair band that was between her teeth. "I think I'm going to get everyone to leave now, since there's no point in waiting for another hour or so. You should get ready too and take Senka to Tsukiko, and I'll get everyone to go to the lobby for a meeting. It is too cold for Senka on the roof, and I want Tsukiko to be at the meeting too." She didn't mention it, but most of her reasoning for pushing their departure time up was due to the drama that was already occurring within less than an hour of the lot of them waking up. She had half a mind to beat them into submission, but that never worked anyway, so she would make it a point to mention that they were in a military, not a summer camp, and they needed to behave like adults and not six year olds. Still, it was rather tiring to listen to the constant bickering. Hei, at the very least, and mellowed out slightly and didn't do it that much. For that much, she was grateful. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, xxxxxxxx And the storms their energy, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.xxxxxxxxxx

1200 Hakase Hei Jūnibantai Taichō "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." Any straight male's reaction to having their face pulled into a woman's bosom was the same thing; they got excited. Whether they showed it or not, or admitted to it or not later, was not the issue. However, Hei's thinking process did not stop at "Hell yes, boobies" but instead carried over to the thought of his nine-month old daughter who was undoubtedly watching the both of them with curious eyes. At first he panicked, because he didn't want Senka exposed to these sorts of things, and although the feeling of her chest against his face was excellent, he made a movement to push her away. However, it dawned on him that she was obviously not going to do anything more than this, so he turned his push into a grab at her waist. Surreptitiously, as he still did not want Senka looking, he blindly moved his foot towards her high chair, then grabbed the leg between his toes and abruptly turned her away, the initial movement startling the infant, but the change in scenery quickly quelled her confusion. Hei was grateful for the lack of crying. As he clung to her, he remained still while she began talking, and replied with a muffled "I know" to her first statement. For the minute he was losing oxygen, but he almost didn't care; death by suffocation of breasts sounded like a spectacular way to go. Unfortunately, or fortunately for him- he hadn't decided yet-, she pulled away and gave him a kiss which he responded to just the same, enjoying that and her fingers in his hair while it lasted.
He watched her disappear into the room seconds later, her last words lingering in the air. She had faith in him, so much faith in him, yet he had been stupid all of these years and did things behind her back that were of no concern to him, but illegal in the eyes of the Seireitei. She hadn't allowed him ample time to respond, so with the lingering feeling of her chest on his face and her tongue in his mouth, he put his elbows onto the table and raked his hands through his hair, putting it in order while hunching over and exhaling a sigh. He had already been thinking about this subject for a while now, mostly that she trusted him so much, yet he still did such stupid things. Of course, he saw nothing wrong with them in the Scientific sense, but somewhere in the back of his mind he knew they were wrong without actually being able to define that wrongness. It was like knowing murder was against the law, yet not thinking it was wrong, as if he believed the system was incorrect. Because of his surging guilt, he had stopped the interactions with Lee and Hibiki, but still remained irritated with them. Now he just didn't do anything about it. "She loves me that much, and I'm this bad of a person." His voice trailed off, but his eyes caught a glimpse of Senka looking behind her, staring her father down after apparently reacting to his words, or perhaps even sensing and gravitating towards his momentary feelings of unease and guilt. "Your father is a terrible person, please don't grow up to be like me, dear. Make the right decisions and don't push people away. It's terrible to be alone, and if it weren't for your mother I would be so alone right now, possibly dead. Please, don't be like me." He was on the edge of pleading with her despite her being none the wiser, and his voice sounded like he had a little bit of sorrow in it. In an instant, he dropped his head onto the table, allowing a loud thud to fill the room while he sat there motionlessly, staring at the close-up of the tabletop. He would be going to jail soon, that much was true, so perhaps, when he got out, it was time to change.
Silence ensued for a moment or two, but that was abruptly shattered when Hei heard the distinct and unmistakable utterance of “dada” fall from Senka’s lips. His eyes widened, almost refusing to believe it. Babies shouldn’t be talking until one year of age, and even now she should only be limited to noises, not complete words. Tsukiko, on the other hand, had started talking a month after this, but she had been proven a genius on Hei’s level after a few clinical trials. Almost scared to find out he had been mistaken, he tilted his head to the side, dropping his ear to the table while he gazed up at the sight of Senka, who was turned around in her high chair, clinging to the back of it with both hands and resting her chin on its edge. They locked quizzical gazes for a moment before she did it again, and this time he was able to witness her lips moving. He fell onto the floor in his haste to stand up, and he has grateful no one had been there to see it. Putting himself at her side, he hoisted the girl into the air by her under arms and rotated her as if to inspect her all over. "You just spoke, didn't you?" He desperately wanted to hear her say "yes" in response, but it was nothing doing. She wouldn't learn all of her words in one night, and all he got in response was happy giggles because she was being given attention. The sight and sound was enough to make his heart melt, and he cradled her while he eased back into his chair, craning his neck so he could look down at her.
He had said for her not to grow up like him, but it seemed she was already picking up his traits. Of course, he had been foolish; this was bound to happen. "Okay... You can be like me a little, just... be more like mommy, okay? Promise me that. Say it, say that you promise. Pro-mise." For a moment he goaded her, but he was met with nothing but her fingers wrapping around his and hanging on to them as he spoke. He didn't get a chance to do anything else, because at that moment, Yuki returned and began to tell him that he should bring Senka to Tsukiko, which he suddenly didn't want to do. In a brief lapse of his thoughts, Hei had a sudden willingness to remove himself and Yuki from the Gotei 13, and take his family far away, so he would never have to leave their side- so Senka would not have to experience a span of time in which he was not there to give her attention. He stuck to this conviction while she continued talking about leaving early, which only furthered his thoughts on the matter. Finally she was done, and he watched her finish putting up her hair before he spoke up, completely off topic at this point. "Senka just said her first word. She called me dada." He waited for her reaction, and his thoughts of taking them and leaving were still fresh in his mind.
[Noooo clue what the Japanese equivalent of dada is. >.> Edit: Changed "unwillingness" to "willingness". >_<]

"Yes yes Elisia-chan, its not like they would believe you though. This kind of conduct is saved only for a few, you should feel honored!" A wave of her hand suggested that she wasn't worried much on the subject. Like she said, who in her division would believe her? Who would think that underneath Nu's usual business like persona, would contain a lovelorn, caring woman who actually fretted about her men? Her division was the feared Assassination Squad, if she showed even an ounce of emotion, then she would bring shame to her division. Besides, too much time in Lee's division has taught her to keep up a business like appearance to prepare her for this kind of seclusion. Not much for a man of emotion, Nu picked up a thing or two besides kido from the Captain before transferring to her newest rank. Around her men, she led them with an iron fist and cold logic, her men trained not to fear death, only knowing that it brings shame. If one were to actually breach her shell, like Elisia did, they would find an entirely different woman, a side who she has only shown on rare occasions, though more to Lee and Elisia then anyone else. "I'll uphold my oh so frightening personality on the battlefield, just try to keep out of my way when I have my mask, alright?"
It was a blunt statement, and she wasn't going to try to sweeten her words. Ever since becoming a vizard she knew this was going to be the biggest problem. She had used her mask countless times now and was in control in practice, but the true heat of battle is something that cannot be simulated. So, in that time, she had trained to keep control so that she wouldn't. During that training, it was easy to see that all the other captains had much more fine control over their hollows, their time span of control exceeding her own on different scales. Still, Nu somewhat found the fact that she could only hold control for a short amount of time somewhat satisfying. It gave her more reason to train herself outside the Vizard spectrum and back into her original shinigami powers. Now with her metallic arm, she found out it took quite a bit of time to get her original strength back, but the awards quickly made up for it.
"So Elisia, how's the new life being a Hakase? Seems you still gotta inherit the Hei confidence~ And stop calling me Nu, try saying it with me. Mit-su-ru" Spelling out each sylable with her lips, it was getting hard with telling her companions her real name, they were too used to her alias. Returning the favor for her previous teasing, it was also a chance for them to get back in touch with each other. She spent so much time in the training grounds that it was becoming too common for her to constantly adjust her eyes when she returned to the surface world. Its been too long since the two had last seen each other, and even longer for her to talk with....well, anyone else. "So, are you ready for the coming battle?" While Nu highly doubted she would fight, that wasn't her specialty. While not made for battle, Elisia had medical skills that were second to none and for the battle that was approaching, it made her just as important as Hei.
She was trying to avoid her question; what exactly was she stressed by? Her hollow, while rambunctious at times, was still in the most part under her control. Her relationship with Lee was shaky, but she pushed those thoughts out of her mind, so what was it? "I can't say for sure, but its something that's bothering me, maybe just a headache or something......" She would have to make sure she took some aspirins before the battle. She couldn't have her health affect her in the midst of battle. She needed to distract herself with something. "Hmmm....." Using her astounding speed, she quickly left an afterimage, appearing a few inches besides her clone. The clone was an exact replica of her, which came in handy when she needed a distraction.....or when she needed to examine her outfit. "Perhaps I wear too revealing clothing......what do you think?" Again. Again she was asking her for advice, as she was more....professional in this art then her. Her outfit was practical for battle, but........bah! Why on earth was she distracting herself like this?
[Meh, rambling is rambling~]

Plenty of things…I…you….can’t?...damnit!” he finally said at last as his grasp of language slipped away on the breeze. He sighed and resigned himself to speaking the language in which he was fluent if only to not unnecessarily draw out the conversation and hold Hibiki from whatever obligations he had. “I’m good. There’s plenty of things I could complain about, but I choose not to,” he said with a bit of a chuckle, though he was disappointed that the language barrier had slaughtered his prior attempt at the joke. He placed his crossed hands behind his head and looked up at the slowly passing clouds in the sky, though not without letting his eyes take not of Hei’s sudden appearance and departure first.
“Yeah you could say that. Tag is a great way to sharpen one’s senses and reflexes before a battle….and it’s fun as hell.” Blake couldn’t help but to smile. Unlike the rest of them he hadn’t seen real combat in decades and hadn’t been to The Seireitei for nearly a century, notwithstanding the fact that his amnesia had all but stripped any memories of the place from his mind. This battle was like returning to a long forgotten childhood home to him and he was reveling in the feeling. He also liked the thought of a new enemy that he’d never faced before. He was practically boiling over with excitement that he was struggling to hold back. Continuing to look up at the sky dreamily he found himself thinking out loud before he knew it. “I kind of feel a bit out of place, though. Everyone is being so stuffy. What the hell is up with that? It’s a battle to take back our homeland. I would expect everyone to be a bit more fired up. Yet everyone is all mopey and argumentative. If you keep letting insignificant s**t crawl into your thoughts instead of focusing on putting your fist through your opponent’s face, then it’ll only serve to result in you being brought home in a body bag.” He didn’t have to be fluent in Japanese to read body language and it was everyone’s body language that led him to his conclusion. Blake moved to the dented railing where ERIS had dashed towards him, still unaware of the fact that what he had thought was an internal musing had found its way out of his mouth. If this were World War II, then he already knew exactly who would and wouldn’t be coming home at the end of the day. No matter how strong or weak you are, there was no denying the signs of reservation, for whatever reasons, that would cloud your judgment at crucial moments. He’d seen it thousands of times before in wars past. After putting his foot up on the dented railing, Blake turned his attention back to Hibiki.
“Anyway, you should try playing tag, Captain Kirisho. Wouldn’t want to cramp up in the middle of a fight or something. Maybe get Lieutenant Sakamoto involved. He seems a little…detached and it might make him not so…angst-y...to have some fun for once. Better yet, why don’t we play another game to ready our reflexes? We both jump off the roof and make an airwalk platform as close to the ground as we can. Whoever ends up closer to the ground wins, and hitting the ground in an automatic loss. I’ll go first!” Blake didn’t even give Hibiki a chance to respond before climbing up on the railing the looking down. He estimated the height of the building, then, by running a simple calculation through his mind for acceleration due to gravity and distance to the ground, he estimated about how many seconds it would take for him to hit the ground. After that, it was just a matter of making the platform as close to that critical limit as possible. Blake nodded then turned to face Hibiki giving him the same childlike smile as before. “Alright see you on the ground!” He then closed his eyes spread his arms and fell backward off the roof, jumping out a bit so he would miss the balconies below them, knowing full well he needed to stop himself in around 1.42 seconds. It was cutting it really close as any lag in his reflexes would put him flat on the ground, but he trusted that the game of tag with ERIS had adamantly warmed his body up and it would put him about 5 inches off the ground as he intended. Blake closed his eyes took a breath then stopped himself from falling right after. He opened his eyes and looked back up at the passing clouds before turning to look at how close he was. There wasn’t much to go by except for a stray piece of tall grass. Blake carefully reached over then pulled the grass blade straight and folded it over when it was even with the top of the airwalk platform. He then carefully pulled the entirety of the blade out of the ground so that he could have it as evidence of his distance. “HAH!” he shouted excitedly as he looked at the length of grass in his hands before looking back up at Hibiki and waving it triumphantly above his head. “FIVE INCHES! YOUR MOVE, CAPTAIN KIRISHO! C’MON! DON’T WUSS OUT ON ME! LOSEN UP AND HAVE SOME FUN BEFORE WE GO DIE!” Blake laughed loudly at this last part as it was meant to be a joke to pull Hibiki and anyone else that understood out of their pre-combat jitters. ◄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─▄─▀─► Notes:"English" " Japanese"

529 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
Yuki froze, dropping her incomplete braid and letting it swing free, striking her backside while it began to unravel. Initially she thought she had misheard, having the same doubts as she was sure Hei would have if their roles were reversed. Of course she wanted to believe her daughter was speaking, because just like Tsukiko, that meant she was gifted. But on the other hand, she had missed it because she was unluckily in the other room at the time. She had only been ten feet away, but she had still missed her daughter's first word. Now that she thought about it, Hei had heard Tsukiko's first word as well; this recollection didn’t help her at all. "You gotta be kidding me!" She said, turning around and approaching the two and setting her hand on the infant’s head. "I mean, that’s wonderful, but seriously baby, you too? God, when do I get to hear my child’s first word? I feel like I have to start all over again." Though her words held an air of disappointment, her tone maintained that she was speaking in rhetoric towards her daughter, not being entirely serious about it. Even still, it was disappointing that she had missed it.
After stroking the top of Senka’s head, she glanced up at Hei and exhaled a sigh. "Of all the days for her to do this, it had to be today. Now I bet she’s going to talk a mile a minute once she’s alone with Tsukiko. I’m jealous; I want to stay home with her instead. The rest of you can go have your brutish war and I’ll stay home and shelter my baby." Yuki began to tear herself away as she spoke, as she was forcing her body to work against her heart, which was where all of that was coming from. She didn't actually mean it completely, even though it sure sounded like it. Her internal struggle lasted for a minutes before she was finally able to excuse herself from their apartment after waving goodbye to both of them. Once in the hall, she pressed her back up against the door and sank to the ground, hanging her head in defeat. For a moment she remained silent, but then jumped to her feet and balled up her fist while the darker, scarier version of her Reiatsu began to radiate all through the apartment building, but on a smaller level so that it was readily felt, but not debilitating. "I hate these ******** Arrancar. I’m going to kill them for making me miss my baby’s first word." With renewed vigor, Yuki stormed down the hallway, threw open the door to the stairwell, stomped noisily down the steps in the midst of her nearly comic fit of anger, and finally came to sit in the couch in a huff, throwing her body onto it. Now she waited for Hei to tell the rest of them to come, and while she did so, she tapped her foot in the ground while muttering things to herself, easing out of her anger as the minutes ticked by. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, xxxxxxxx And the storms their energy, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.xxxxxxxxxx

Hibiki Kirisho - Squad Nine Captain - ================================================
The gods trembled The demons flockedSlightly raising an eyebrow in mild surprise at Blake’s initial words, Hibiki was somewhat taken aback by the fact that Blake could speak Japanese. Though, after thinking about it, Hibiki found no real reason for him not to be speaking Japanese, seeing as how he was living with people who spoke such language. However, given the fact that he was unable to finish his statement, it seemed that he wasn’t very fluent at it yet, to which Hibiki gave a light chuckle, thinking it was rather funny, smiling as Blake reiterated himself, this time in English ”I suppose so, things aren’t exactly top-notched here, after all.” Hibiki replied, believing his complaints to be that concerning the apartment building. True enough, even Hibiki agreed that the place was a bit of a dump during his stay, but he didn’t mind it. Though, seeing as how the entire building was renovated during their stay, he surmised that the others didn’t share his view.
”Perhaps, but don’t you think it’ll exhaust you too much? After all, given our dire situation, I doubt we can so easily exploit our stamina.” commented Hibiki, he didn’t intend for his comment to be so long, but he had already spat it out, so he just left it as is. Genuinely surprised at Blake as he began to think out loud, oblivious to that fact himself, Hibiki listened closely, not sure if the Captain was talking to him or not. As he commented on their behavior in general, Hibiki couldn’t help but smirk at the fact. Though he didn’t know much about the man, he could somehow tell that he had experience in fighting, whether this was as a human or as a soul was not something he could deduce ”I guess you’re right.” Hibiki stated, he would continue on, but he was suddenly interrupted by Blake’s movement towards the railing. Turning his head to face the man, he found him looking at him as well, which only puzzled Hibiki more as to what his intentions were.
As Blake spoke to him, Hibiki’s expression went from indifference towards Blake’s invitation to tag, to amusement at his comment of him cramping up, to agreement that a little fun was necessary here and there, to confusion as Blake invited him to a reflex game, before finally settling on sheer and utter disbelief at Blake’s suggestion, staring at the man with disbelief as he climbed up on the railing ”Wait, I--“ Hibiki muttered out, but didn’t get to finish as Blake suddenly threw himself off the railing. If it weren’t for the fact that they were Shinigami, Hibiki would’ve let out a very audible ‘Oh shi--‘, though despite this knowledge, his face still contorted itself into something that visibly displayed the aforementioned expression. Looking down to see that Blake was still in one piece, and that his legs were still straight, Hibiki breathed a sigh of relief. He still could hardly believe he actually jumped off the roof.
Fixing his head back towards Blake as he exclaimed his victory, while holding up a blade of grass to prove his proximity to the ground, Hibiki could only stare at the man ”You gotta be kidding me.” he said to himself. Surely this man wasn’t expecting him to throw himself off the roof willingly? ”Do it, don’t be a wuss.” uttered his inner hollow ”Shut it, I ain’t jumping off a rooftop and that’s fina--“ he thought back, before he felt someone push him off the roof, he managed to grabbed on to the railing, allowing him to see who the culprit was. Seeing Kaze standing near the railing, he realized the man had actually materialized just to push him off ”Wa-wait a minute.” ”Shut it.” spoke the man, before stabbing Hibiki’s fingers with his scabbard, causing the Captain to fall down into the ground as he went back into Hibiki’s inner world.
To say Hibiki was panicking would be an understatement, and whereas Blake stopped himself after 1.42sec to achieve 5ft of clearance, Hibiki, in his panic, managed to stop himself after approximately 1.2sec, placing him higher than Blake, a distance he was unable to measure as soon after he stopped himself with the spiritual platform, his knees buckled up and he fell to the ground with a thud, hitting it with his rear end, not enough for him to yell out in pain, but certainly enough for him to feel it. Standing back up, he massaged his backside to relieve himself of the lingering pain before looking back up at Blake, still standing on his platform ”Remind me never to do that again.” he uttered with a groan as he stretched himself back up.
Meanwhile, as the two of them leaped to their deaths, Yuki was coping with the fact that she had missed Senka’s first word. And by the time Hibiki was on the ground, reeling from the impact, her reiatsu started to spread throughout the apartment, eventually reaching Hibiki and Blake. Upon feeling the dark, and quite frankly scary presence, Hibiki’s face exhibited a look of comical fear for a moment or two as he realized who the reiatsu signature belonged to ”If I’m not mistaken, that was our Commander-Genral.” Hibiki stated ”I wonder what the problem is.” he continued, at this point he was just babbling. Because he was unaware of what happened, Hibiki didn’t know what to think of it.

540 Hakase Hei Jūnibantai Taichō "...allow me to show you a fate worse than death." Hei recoiled a little as she turned; he thought she might be a little disappointed about that. "If it's any reassurance, just remember who's responsible for how beautiful both of our children turned out. They certainly didn't get their looks from me..." He let his voice trail off as he considered another child after hearing Yuki mention starting all over. No, he didn't want another child, two was enough. With three kids they would switch from a man-to-man to a zone defense, and he had enough on his hands already. "I'm sure she didn't intend to, dear." He commented in passing at Yuki's silliness just as she was beginning to move away, and waved in response as she left. Once he was certain she was gone, he turned away from the door and swept Senka into their room, apparently over his mild depression from earlier. "Yes, I know mommy is crazy sometimes, but we still love her. You take the good with that bad, and there you have it, Senka-chan. Now let's get you to your big sister." As he spoke to her, he quickly changed her into a one-piece pajama-like suit that would keep her warmer than her current clothes. It wasn't an easy task considering she rarely stopped moving, but he managed just the same. Once done, Hei set her in her crib and put on his Haori, then picked up his knives and tied them to the back of his hakama-himo before sliding his tabi and waraji on. Afterward, Hei took Senka to Tsukiko's apartment and rapped his knuckles on her door, waiting until she opened up.
He was met with the sight of Tsukiko, who looked like she was wearing three layers of clothing, as she wasn't revealing very much skin. Her new ensemble was clearly a form of unspoken sarcasm towards her father's earlier desires of her changing. Hei was very aware of this, and to further his authority, he nodded in approval and held Senka up. "I approve, now take your sister and bring her downstairs." Tsukiko let out another frustrated sigh and hastily peeled off her jacket and tossed it to the floor to reveal a sweater and a pair of jeans. "Fine." Tsukiko rolled her eyes and took Senka from Hei, then left him standing there to close her door while she went to the lobby. Hei watched her leave quietly, and cast her a small smile when she disappeared inside the door. By the time she was gone, he picked up her jacket, folded it up, and put it on her bed before leaving her apartment and shut the door behind him, then arrived in the lobby a few moments later. After passing his only remaining blood relatives in the lobby, Hei strolled outside and came to a full stop by the time he got out about seven feet away from the door. He then slipped his hands into the adjacent sleeve and raised his voice so that he would be heard. "Sōtaichō-dono requests your audience," he began in his usual monotone "so get inside." Once finished, he turned away and slipped back inside, sitting down next to Yuki on the couch, crossing his legs and sitting up straight.

⋆⋆⋆∥ HAKASE xELISIA ☇【 yonbantaixTAICHO 】 Elisia was wiping tears of laughter from her eyes at this moment in time, before leaning over and ruffling Nu’s hair in an affectionate manner. It was nice to know the fact that she was doing something like that for her, but it also made her wonder exactly who else Nu would show this character to. There wasn’t too many other Shinigami that could be considered to be very close to Nu although the other girl had been a little friendlier ever since Elisia herself started encouraging her. Lee, perhaps? That wasn’t the best thing at this moment in time…and she had yet to talk formally to either Eriko or Nu about making up. Then again, why should they? Elisia herself knew the feeling of love and infatuation very well, which unfortunately Hideki and Yuki had seen quite a bit of, and it was something that one clung to, not something to be discarded lightly. It was not in her place to interfere, she finally decided, but she would do something only if it started to affect their conduct. After all, they couldn’t have two Captains fighting in front of either the Arrancar or the others, as it would give a bad impression. “Anyone would feel honoured in a case like this,” she replied without skipping a beat or hesitating in the slightest.
Tilting her head to one side as Nu started talking about something that was sort of related, she made sure that none of the slight fear that she felt within, would show on her face or change her current expression. She knew very well that Vizards could be more temperamental, due to the presence of another Hollow in their minds, and there was always a chance that one of the Hollows could take over at any moment if they weren’t careful. Chewing her bottom lip in distress, she nodded frantically, trying to convey her understanding as she placed a gentle hand on her friend’s arm, the non-metallic one. “Don’t worry, Nu-chan, I understand. But you’ll be fine, I’m sure you will be!” her voice was comforting and she sounded completely sure of herself, masking any doubts and insecurities that she was feeling inside. Nu-chan would be able to get through this no matter what and she’d need to provide support for the girl when the time came for it. That was going to be the case if she managed to get her own feelings under control. Hopefully, everything would fall into place and turn out fine.
Pouting slightly at Nu’s remark about being a Hakase and then about Nu’s real name, she sighed, “I’m not sure that there’s anything too drastically different about being a Hakase, though it does get a little confusing when people call me Hakase-Taichō. But then again, I guess that’s what happens when there’s so many Hakases everywhere.” Twiddling her thumbs, she pulled a funny face before enunciating slowly, mimicking Nu as well as she could while trying not to laugh, “Mit-su-ru. There, I said it! But ‘Nu-chan’ is so much cuter, perhaps I should call you a nickname or something. Mitsu-chan? Nah, that’s really…not cute in the slightest,” she pondered with a thoughtful look before suddenly thinking of one and talking in a half-singing manner, “I’ve got it! You’re going to be Ruru-chan ~” She giggled to herself quietly at that, before replying to the other girl’s other question absentmindedly, “I guess I’m ready for the coming battle, but we’ll see, won’t we?” Flashing a confident smile to her friend, she swayed her body from side to side, replaying the song from this morning in her head as she tapped her fingers in time. However, her good mood dimmed a little as Nu seemed to be a little worried about something. A headache? That didn’t seem like it, but then again, she wasn’t conducting a very in-depth study on her at the moment.
As Nu disappeared, Elisia patiently waited for her to appear again, knowing that the other girl wouldn’t have left so quickly. Switching her gaze between a clone and Nu although she had simply no idea of which one was which, she figured out Nu as soon as the girl talked. Revealing clothing? Finding the situation funny as it was something that any two ordinary women would talk about, she scrutinized the appearance of the clothing on the clone. “Nah, it’s not that revealing, I think, so don’t worr--” her voice cut off as she was startled by a loud shout from nearby. Jumping to her feet abruptly, she pulled a worried glance at Nu, before saying, “I think we’d better see what the matter is.” She hadn’t understood what the shout was as her mind had been switched to Japanese and she was concerned that something might have happened to somebody. Hurrying to only see Blake waving a blade of grass triumphantly over his head, she let out a sigh – one mixed of relief and frustration. However, her eyes widened with shock and surprise as she noticed the descent of another Captain, Hibiki this time. This time, she truly panicked, only remembering that they could actually stop the fall pretty easily when he used the spiritual platform. Wincing as he fell to the ground, as she knew that would have to hurt, she shook her head slowly side to side in disbelief. “Seriously,” she spoke in a clear voice in fast and fluent Japanese to both of them, “Are you two planning to make my job harder by jumping off roofs randomly?” It was at that moment in time that she felt the Reiatsu of Yuki, shivering as the dark and scary presence passed over her. Strange. Apparently their Captain-Commander wasn’t in the best mood for some reason and that could hardly bode well for the rest of them. There was little time to ponder on that as at that moment in time, she heard the voice of her father-in-law, calling everyone to get inside as Yuki wanted them. Ah well. Gesturing at Hibiki and Blake to follow, she headed in first, entering the lobby and leaning against one of the walls for support. She caught sight of Tsukiko there, before waving enthusiastically to the other girl with a small secretive smile on her face. ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

"Ru.......ru? What happened to Mitsuru?" With a overly dramatic sigh, she couldn't believe how childish she could be. But perhaps, this was why she hung around with the girl. Elisia could easily get serious when she wants to, but it seems she chooses a more amiable atmosphere, and she gets by with that kind of attitude. "Hmm....I guess so....eh?" Her head turned, she stared past her newly clone to find Hibiki and Blake. Those two seemed to be getting along well, though it seemed Elisia was hardly pleased. But how could she blame her? When she finds Captains jumping off of roofs like that? "Oh come on Elisia, let's leave them to their..whatever it was they were doing...." Before she could say anything else, she was stopped by something. Both she and her clone instantly felt an unsettling feeling that seemed to emanate from the building. It was like Yuki's, but this time much darker, though not exactly stifling, just enough for everyone to feel. "Seems like Yuki is riled over something, maybe Hei?" With a small chuckle at the thought, she slowly begins her descent back into her more captain like attitude, already dissapating her clone with a wave of the hand. It was by that point that Hei's voice was heard, summoning them all into the lounge. It seemed they have all been summoned, and it was already clear what they were being called for. "All right, let's go then." Walking behind the girl inside, she sat down, using the wall Elisia was leaning on for support as well. Try as she might, Elisia couldn't hide the smile she made to her wife. It was cute, and so, Nu didn't say anything on it. Elisia was kind enough to keep her love life mostly private, it wasn't Nu's place to tease on these things......all the time.

Akane Itsuki, Third Seat of Division Three Riku Ryuu of the Black Mist Mountains Akane sat on the side of Suzume's bed, thinking over the morning. He sat up and made sure his clothes were fitted. He takes his glasses and slides them on. Akane breathes in and sighs in a sign of content. He stands and Suzume finishes putting her Shinigami robes on, sliding in to her thick, white haori to finish her look. As Akane leaves Suzume's bedroom, he could feel the Sotaicho's little burst of anger. He could sense how most of the people around him felt, or even how excited or saddened they were in a way. He could tell Blake, the newest Captain, was difinitely playing with his Zanpakuto. He didn't talk much to the new guy, but Blake was just like Hibiki; a guy he'd sit down and drink with, and talk about stupid guy things about that have no real meaning, as most men often do when drunk -- no matter what they say different.
He can hear Hei shout at the ones outside about Yuki wanting their audience. Akane feels the tap of small fingers on his back, and kneels so Suzu can get on easier. Once he feels she is comfortable in how she is on her piggy-back ride, he stands moves down to the lobby. Akane thinks about the little baby. "In the eyes of a child.. the mother is God," would echo from Riku; Akane smiling and nodding on the comment. Sadly - as he got on the subject of thinking of his spirit - he could not materialize his spirit in its normal form, or there would be a large area of destruction. Riku was just far too large, and neither him nor Akane cared much for his more humanly form.
Akane stands near the couch, bowing his head to Yuki, "Madam-Taicho." He turns his head, feeling Suzume has buried her face in the crook of his neck. Akane smiles a bit, "Must still be exhausted.." He lets her be, as he knows if she can rest, then she'll be awake and alert for the assault ahead.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Tetsunosuke let out a loud sneeze as a shiver ran up his spine. "Crap! I shouldn't have left without more clothing. Argh!! Why can't I find where I was staying! Crap, crap, crap." A grit from his teeth was apparent this time as he ruffled his coarse untouchable hair.
"Hahaha, silly Taicho."
"Great. to make things better, I'm hearing voices. Hooray for craziness." He was shouting out in the public street. Of course no one understood his Japanese and only gave him a look of him coming off as a crazy tourist. "Crikey, he's a bit crazy." A man said as he walked right passed him. Of course, Tetsunosuke knew English. A red blush came to his cheeks as he heard the male.
The Captain walked into a clothing store and purchased a pair of jeans, a hoodie and that was all. He had already had shoes on his feet and shirt to wear under the zip-hoodie. He paid in native money as he smiled and walked out of the store wearing the clothes. A sigh was expelled from his lungs as he felt comfortable now. A serious look came over his face as he fell into deep thought while he joined a crowd walking across a street. 'Gotei 13... I'm still skeptical about how we- no... how they're running things. Everyone just goes along like it was nothing to lose a Captain-Commander and Captain. Am I the only one who has any incentive of sadness to loss? Or have I just not grown any at all to accept loss of important people in my life... all I keep coming to, is that I need a revelation in myself.' Tetsunosuke had sunk his hands into his hoodie-jacket's pockets while he was walking, he was still getting further from the apartment, but he did not realize it. His expression was calm as he took a left and walked along the side walk down another moderately busy street.
