*tentatively raises hand* Uhhh, though they're definitely not Nu-Metal, I was wondering about Beto Vasquez Infinity. I mean, if Nightwish qualifies as metal, then I certainly think they should...if Infinity Space is any indication. Errrr...hold on a minute. Does anyone here even know who Beto Vasquez Infinity is? xp

Oh, and speaking of bizarre mish-mashes of metal artists, any thoughts on the Probot project? I hate to dig up old ghosts, but....I'm curious.

durrypoo To Hittokiri: You can always check them out on Metal-Archives, if they appear there, you can be almost sure that the band is(or was like Def Leppard) Metal. If you don't find them there, but are still unsure on wether a band is or is not Metal, you can always post links to some songs so others can listen and help. To swordguy: I don't think we have any policies on Metalcore, waiting for Clasi or Shade would be the best. Ah thanx I'll try that.

About the Probot Project, I was really disappointed about it when I heard it some years ago, when I was big into metal... King Diamond's song was what I was expecting the most and it was REALLY disappointing... the only song I did liked was Lemmy's, that one had balls, and the video was alright too...
The rest of the album I didn't care for at all

I dunno what our policy is either, give us a while on that. :3 And as far as Metal Archives, don't rely on it. >.>; It will tell you 80's hair bands are metal, and a great deal of them are definately not.

And I still think M-A is a good place to verify, at least if it's not about 'Hair Metal' bands, though some of them are Metal too(or were like Def Leppard). >_>

I checked M-A and di not see them...so I dunno. I thinking they maybe considered Death Metal with some Hardcore. I am going to post links to their websites so others can listen. Becoming the Archetype here and Mortal Treason here. You all may have better ears than me.
