Varon shifted his weigh and stance, his body angled away from her to his left where his right side dominated and the according hand gesturing as he would speak, "I cannot say I'm very familiar with your school of magic... there have been far too many deviations to keep track of them all." Varon's tone held a scholarly tendency as he'd answer her inquiries, "In essence, I am an Illusionist. Unlike popular perspective on the subject, I don't deal with just making people see things, but in fact, smell, touch, feel and hear them. If you dwell deeper, you might even find that all that is just the tip of the iceberg. It's not something I can accurately depict in the measure of a casual conversation."

Surfacing from his intellectual thoughts, Varon gazed at her curiously, relaying the sentiment in his speech, "I see that you seem to have trouble in the very structure of your approach, as if it had been done on a whim or reaction rather than an calculated decision. One might only speculate what had driven you to such an extent."

Ryu checks the battery on his psp and it's about to die so he shuts it off and puts it in his pocket but he doesnt move from where he's standing and once again scans the crowd for his date and not seeing her he sits down in the corner near him and falls asleep not that any one notices due to the mirror sunglasses he's wearing so no one can see his eyes or whether they are open or shut behind them.

Phae's mouth fell open. Who was this guy? He was handsome, no doubt about that. But Phae also guessed that he was probably insane. Only a crazy man would actually say 'we will soon be wrapped up in the passion of night' to someone he had just met.

But for some reason she was having a very difficult time trying to deny his invitation.She mentally kicked herself several times. He was handsome, so what? That didn't mean she needed to put his life into danger for a few minutes of fun and merriment.

His face was close to hers. She leaned forward, keeping her eyes on his. When her face was a few mere inches from his she spoke. "You don't want to dance with me." Her voice was intense, and slightly shaky, but she kept her gaze locked onto his. "I'm not worth it."

Rain sits at a table watching as everyone dances together, she sighs then turns over to her date James who had been talking non stop for that past hour. well that is if he wasn't eating.

"Do you ever just shut up?!?" Rain yells in a cruel voice. James cringes back looking hurt, but shuts up. He looks down at his plate then down at hers.

"Hey are you going to eat that?" he asks quietly, now looking up at me with a curious face. Rain looks at him with a death glare

"Really? are you serious?" Rain asks with a pissed off tone in her voice "Fine eat it, i dont care." she says as she gets up and walks away.

Her bright red dress shimmers in the light as she walks up to one of the walls and stands there leaning against it. James starts to walk over to her, looking as if he had eaten too much.

"If you want to survive past this night, i would leave me the hell alone." Rain says looking at him with a very serious face. James walks away looking even more hurt, as he leaves the building.

"well there goes my ride" Rain mumbles to herself. She stands there for a few minutes, wondering if she was just imagining all the faces of people staring at her.

Being board and dateless Rain walks out to the dance floor, and starts do spins in circles around the floor gracefully, Letting her long red dress flow behind her, as it glitters in the light.

Sam sighed as He leaned agienst a wall on the far side of the dance floor, wondering where his date was... She thought she'd saw her a bit ago... but it seemed she had disappeared. Haku looked around, operantly not noticed by anyone. Sam and Haku watched the lights going around the floor, wanting desperately to run after and try and catch them... but they stood where they were. Haku sat on Sam's head, nibbling on a cookie Sam had gotten her a bit ago when they'd passed the snack table for the third time. Sam was almost tiered of waiting for this... Ai girl. But she decided she'd wait for her until... whenever Haku's patience tested and demanded to go to the haunted house. Sam loved Haku... although, the little clay figurine that she had turned to life with her powers could get a bit... to hyper for her to handle. Not that there was anything wrong with Haku drinking to much Sake... she wasn't even considered alive... but, still, Sam loved her friend. She swung her leg back and forth as she waited for Ai to arrive.

Frowns but then smiles again "Im not in trouble, I just am not used to wearing dresses thats all." She looks around as if searching for something and then looks back at Varon. "You said you were an illusionist right? Is there a way you could make people...I dont know, make people feel like old emotions come back as if seeing an old friend?"
