"Damn, where is he... also where is he as well?" Hibiki grumbled as he reappeared on top of a roof top. The first he being Hei and the other being his lieutenant. "Damn, maybe they're in the squad barracks. I have a bone to pick with both of them." he spoke as he pulled a piece of paper wrote down their names and chose via 'random selection'. "And the lucky winner is... Hei, great just my luck." he searched the festival area for his reiatsu signature but noticed it to be absent. "Well, guess it's off to Squad 9 then." he spoke before promptly dashing towards his Squad's barracks.

The Lieutenant of Squad 4

I’m not a destroyer,
But rather a healer.
Dreams are hopeless useless to me.
Peace in the whole of earth is a total impossibility.

Since the children had finished their game, Elisia had left from their game, trying to conserve what energy she had left. She had forgotten that children were always so hyper, no matter where they came from. Turning her head, her buoyant mood disappeared entirely. She had just seen her worst nightmare. Her parents. They were walking down the streets, followed by many servants which were carefully making sure that no riff-raff came nearby. She had two choices - to flee or to face them bravely. She walked straight into their path and some servants bustled over to shoo her away. When they saw that she was their master's daughter, they hovered and grimaced at each other, unsure of what to do. Trying to keep a polite stance, she nodded briefly at them, before passing into a narrow alleyway. She stopped to catch her breath. She would never do that again. The glint in her father's eyes and the disapproval written on her mother's face was very clear to her.

Needing somewhere to breathe, she moved outside, only to be confronted with masses of people. Trying to find some room, she moved away, heading towards the direction of nowhere in particular. Finding herself in a another corridor, she turned her head, feeling really trapped by the masses. Not watching where she was going, she kept walking and bumped into a guy who was in this busy corridor.
"Oh I'm so sorry," she apologised, brushing the dust off her Shinigami outfit.
Looking up, her whole face turned red. She was mortified. Apparently she had bowled over Daiki, the Captain of Squad Two. Hopefully he would not be too angry...
"Sorry, sir," she said, getting more flustered as the time passed, "I didn't mean to bump you..."

...The Flare of the Phoenix is with me...

Daiki thought perhaps somebody had just shoved him on purpose. He turned around to see Elisia on the ground apologizing. He offered his hand to help Elisia get back up. She looked quite scared of him. "There is no reason for you to be afraid. Just 'cuz Squad 2 is the Assassination Squad will not mean I'll kill just anybody. He gave a warm smile and leaned in to whisper something in Elisia's ear. "Besides, you should be more afraid of Captain Hei. Had you bumped into him, he would probably turn you into one of his lab experiments. He's so uptight." He dusted some invisible dirt of his robes. He returned to his normal speaking voice "Would Captain Yuki allow that?" He asked Elisia but really the question was more for himself. He sort of realized he had spent more time on this subject than deserved. Perhaps this eased Elisia or perhaps not.

"Meh, i honestly dont think of myself as a 'high' ranking position. I prefer to think of my self as an equal to most people, well other then the captains of course." He exclaimed, as he began eating his Club Sandwich. He set his sandwich down, and scratched the side of his head.

"Wow, your job sounds kinda fun, in a sence more of exhiliration more then actual enjoyment. Not having a weapon to fight and all. Although, id have to say im not horrible at fist to fist. but i most likley pale in comparrison to you. I like using my zanpaku-to, personally. Mostley because we seem to be on good terms and all. That reminds, i am the Ice element. What force do you posses?" he said smiling, at the continious conversation with his newfound friend.

"Yah i hope to be great friends. For many years to come! We should toast to that!" Artemis announced raising his saucer of sake in the air. "And well because I woke up from my accomatosic state, i dont particcularly have many bounderies for myself in the age sence. Heh, i guess maybe i should set some now that i thinkabout it. Im not givin' up that sake though hahahaa" Artemis blinked a couple of times, and held a large smile in place, as he starred at Tsume.

((Just incase, because alot of people dont know. Being in an accoma. is when you arent dead, but are in sleep for very long extended periods of time.))
Tsume picked up his orange soda and toasted to being great friends. After he gulped the whole thing down he answered Artimis's question, "well I have a combination of ellements, wind and illusion. My zanpakuto has kinda like a split personality, but about your accomatosic state, is it ok if I ask you what happened?"
Tsume scratched the back of his head waiting for a reply, he suddenly felt cold inside from asking such an personal question sweatdrop .

Artemis's eyes widend, then he smirked. "Nahh, its fine, nothing to worry about. It dosnt really matter anyway, i have nothing to feel sad about, because i cant remember anything of my past. Well, other then the past four years. Dont feel bad about it. The only thing i feel that i might miss sometimes is that i left something behind, which that i may have held dearly... Yah." His smile brightened, as he spoke. It may have seemed kind of abnormal, but not to him, because, he was talking to his new friend.

Artemis picked up his bowl, and practically inhaled the spiced broth of the raman. "Well," he said standing up and sippin back his last drops of sake. "Where would you like to go? OHH... i forgot it, but maybe we should go check out what was happening over from where we came. It seemed like the captains got excited about something soo..." His eyes glistened in hopes that Tsume would agree with him. He scrunched his face into a cat smile, and his eyes grew wider yet, farther thany any average person.

As soon as Hei's foot touched the ground and the base of the steps that wrapped around Soukyoku hill, he vanished. He simply had to get out of there, she was bad news for him, any girl was. He got away, far far away and ended up back where he had left Tsukiko and Yuki. The place was still full of shinigami but there was no sign of either of them and their Reiryoku was faint, both off in different directions, meaning that they were no longer together. "What the... No, of course they would have left." It was stupid of him to think they would stick around any longer. He felt that Yuki might be doing her own thing so he settled on Tsukiko.

After tracing her Reiryoku once more, he started off in her direction. He was calming down now, he felt no need to run around like an idiot so he refrained from shunpo or any form of instant movement and instead settled for a casual stroll. He saw her on the rooftop some minutes later, though all he saw was her back at the time. Hei pushed off with one foot and looked towards the ground as he did so, landing on the edge of the roof with his head down. He was about to speak to her when their eyes locked but she made a small head motion towards Yokozuki and Nu to let him know they were there. His gaze slid in their direction and he blinked slightly, he had missed them earlier simply because he wasn't trying to feel for them. Captains and Lieutenants were everywhere, not realizing the exact location of one wasn't unheard of.

He let out a small groan and sighed shortly thereafter. Doing his best to push away the stupid emotions that he gained from the festival, he mumbled his apology to Yokozuki for kicking his head. It wasn't exactly heartfelt, it was kinda rude too, but Hei felt no need to be that way, especially given Yokozuki's outlook on just about everything. Seeing as how he had no desire to be in his company, he hopped off the roof and pressed his back against the wall and slid to the ground with a deep sigh. "So damned intolerable these Captains are, nearly every last one of them... What's with the selection process these days, the Gotei is turning into a group of incorrigible miscreants. We've got a kid who can't stay up past 9pm, an arrogant boy with a sense of justice to match it, a narcoleptic procrastinating sadist, my sister who is sometimes too happy, a carnage loving, ignorant twit, a little brat who is always in a rush and might not be too bright, that girl with kind outward appearance but is just really a stuck-up brat, a lazy big-breasted b***h, yet another freakishly goofy kid, a blind brat, and then to top it all off, that freaky little brat with the demon hand." As he quietly rattled off this list to no one in particular, everything else just seemed to fade away in nothingness. God he hated people, they annoyed him so much. There it was, his normal demeanor was returning as the effects of the alcohol wore off. It never stayed in him long to begin with and he never got drunk.

Hisagi hid out from the masses of the seireitei because of the amount of damage he did, on Soukyoku Hill, long before Hei showed up.

"Grrreat... He's here..." Hisagi said irritably, but silently so Hei couldn't hear him. Then Hei left as quickly as he came. "Hm... I wonder what he's up too..." Hisagi thought, so he left and went after him, masking is spiritual pressure while following him. He stayed a safe distance away and heard Hei talking.

Hei said everything bad about every single captain out there, "Hehehe... This is good dirt!... I wonder where I fall under... 'Carnage loving ignorant twit', or 'blind brat'?" Hisagi thought to himself. "Hahaha, he forgot to list himself under there! 'Complaining Hypocritical Nihilist b*****d'! Some people never learn do they... ah well, thats the rest of the world for you!"

Hisagi stayed still, and listened in on Hei's conversation. But he eventually got board and went back to the hill, to hide out again.

"Achoo!" Hibiki stopped as he let out a sneeze. "Sniff, damn it's to warm out to catch a cold." he commented as he wiped his nose with a handkerchief. "... Wait, that's Kokei's reiatsu." Hibiki thought aloud as he felt the reiatsu signature emanating from the Soukyouku Hill. "Might as well, it'd be nice to have a get together." he then vanished from the scene using shunpo and headed towards the hill.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 07, 2009 4:05 pm

Hisagi sensed the other captains coming the moment they shunpoed to the hill. His sense of reiatsu as far greater than any other captain, since he lost his ability to see, his other senses are near super-human, heightened beyond the normal captain.

"Hmm..." Hisagi didn't want to hide any longer, and increased his reiatsu so that they would notice him. "Hehehe..."

Tomomi had gotten bored of poking his passed out Lieutenant; So, he put a blanket over him and left his room, putting a paper on the handle reading, 'Do Not Disturb'. He dodged anyone he came across, but soon came to find the inevitability of getting past every person. Tomomi knelt quickly and launched himself up onto a roof, running across it. He finally came to a small pond and jumped over to it. Tomomi landed softly and in a half-kneeling position. He stood and walked to the pond, and sat down with his legs criss-crossed. Tomomi sat at the pond for some time; Eyes closed, hands in the other hands sleeves, and his head bowed. One would think he was meditating, but it was more sleeping. Tomomi wasn't actually asleep, but when he went into this state he could speak with his spirit and see it. His spirit and him would look at memories of old days, or simply sit and talk to one another.

He finally opened his eyes, "Good night, Ouhi-Hebi." Tomomi stood up and walked from the grounds, and went back to his training grounds. The large training ground was great for both training and sparring. The stone beneath their feet would stop them from going past shikai, and limit their abilities to non-lethal attacks, unless it was with the blade itself. Tomomi took out his blades and twirled them, "No.. I'm not going to release shikai." His spirit seemed to flow around him,
"Oh, but Tomomi.. You should be at the festival. Why don't you play more? You're still a kid on the inside, as much on the outside." Tomomi chuckled, "You sound like a mother, more than my blades' spirit." Ouhi-Hebi swirled around some more, "I am still part of you, Li'l Tomo. I have to watch your back in a fight.. Stop training and working all the time, and have some fun. You're strong enough, Tomo.. If you're not, then you've got Squad-mates and friends to help you." Tomomi sighed, "That's why I train. So I don't have to need them so much." Ouhi-Hebi laughed and smiled as much as a serpent could, "As you wish, Li'l Tomo." He sighs once more, "You're the only one I will ever let call me that.."

Tomomi, if seen by others, would probably seem crazy if they think of him speaking to his spirit. He began to thrust, slash, dice, block, and jab with his blades; Training while the others have their fun. He could feel the others spiritual pressures, and only a faint, almost non-existant signature of Hei. Most of the spiritual pressences seemed happy, and joyful. Some seemed more or less unhappy, and with Hei he could feel his most usual mood you get from him.

||Now.. I wonder which one I am.. Well, at least mine isn't as bad as the others. xD||

Kato ran in to the area where the festival was being held. Though he ran here from his dojo, the sight still took his remaining breath away.

"It's, amazing....I wish you could have seen it. I'll enjoy it for both of us," he said.

The tears rolled down his face but no one could see him cry. He stepped up to a nearby post and sat on it, watching the petals fall down on the people below.

Tsume finished his food and burped loud, he laughed a little, and agreed, "Sure what are the captains up to? It does look exciting i guess. Lets go check it out Artimis!" Tsume began to walk towards the area of the captains,"Hurry up Artimis! Lets go go go!" Tsume slowed down enough to let Artimis catch up. Out of the corner of his eye Tsume spotted Kato, the vice captain of his squad, he yelled over to him, "Hey Kato, Yeah over here, come hang with us! Tsume grabbed Artimis's neck and chocked him a little bit. Thats for not hurrying up haha! That guy over there is my vice by the way." Tsume joked around with Artimis, but finally let him free.

Akaiko-chan
Almost choking on ANOTHER rice ball,Nu glances down at her smiling captain. "And I just said YOUR captain was odd...." Deciding to be more friendly today, she mentally prepared herself to act natural and smiles, yelling back at him."Enjoying the festival Taichou!?~"

User Image Yokozuki gave Nu a quick blank look to her question. "The festival is quite beautiful, though I could do without some.." He stopped his answer there before turning away from Nu and facing north "I wanted to see how you were doing, I suppose you're doing fine then" He turned back to her "Well I'm off, this crowd is giving me a head ache" Yokozuki turned and left Nu again going through the crowd "Get out of my way! You're all so positively vile!" Yokozuki could be seen throwing or punching people to clear a path, from time to time screams of laughter could be heard for the people he was hurting were far to drunk to realize it and found it quite amusing.

He made it back out to a quiet little stone pathway that lead completely out of the way of the festival, there wasn't a soul around but neither was there anywhere to sit or relax, only walking could be done less one might take the ground as a chair. "So..you've been awfully quiet....what's going? Something wrong with you? Really I could care less it's just that you're always a chatter mouth, can't ever get you to shut up sometimes" Yokozuki rambled on and on to himself it would seem but he was talking to Tankesshouyoku, his zanpauktou. "You're always chattering, it's not like you to not be screaming in my ear about something I could hardly care less to hear, but you insist on always being so bothersome" He stopped for a moment, letting his Zanpakutou speak back apparently. "Hm, I guess so" He said in a far more calm tone then what it had sounded like before. "I left because I couldn't stand the crowd you imbecile!" He suddenly started shouting again at something his Zanpakutou accused him of in a rather taunting way.

Hayashi Yuki

"That's a good question, why don't you ask her?" It seemed that Yuki's time was excellent today. She approached them from the right, speaking in the 3rd person for whatever reason. As always, those around her would feel like they were in the presence of an angel, prolonged exposure gave a blissful feeling. Her gaze was on the ground because she had been focusing on Hei for the past several minutes. His pain became hers, his thoughts became hers, and his happiness became hers and she was feeling more happy than usual. The feeling wasn't annoying per se, it was just slightly odd feeling. So when she finally looked at them, her smile was delayed slightly.

Elisia noticeably relaxed. This Captain, although being the leader of the Assassination Squad, had not much anger directed to her. That was nice. Most captains would usually cut off her head immediately. Her Captain would not, but some Captains had the normal response of being angry. Elisia did not know what was worse. Being scolded publicly by a Captain or being killed. She weighed the options carefully. Being killed would hurt a lot. Just then, he leaned in and whispered in her ear. She nearly laughed but remembered her composure as a lieutenant. To her surprise, her own Captain came up, looking very distinctly happy for some strange reason. Elisia quickly decided to whisper to Daiki.
"Captain Hei is kind of moody all the time," Elisia replied, feeling a little more secure, and then raised her voice. "And being a lab experiment is not a nice thing...I think Captain Yuki would be annoyed if she lost her lieutenant...Right, Captain?"

She smiled at both of them. Noticing that people were heading out of this corridor already, she felt like going somewhere with open spaces. She turned around, wanting to ask them to join her. Hopefully it would not be too rude.
"I was about to get some food after an exhausting game," Elisia asked, facing them both, "Would you both like to join me?"
