Aislinn, for her part, laughed at Maiza's antics. The male medics backed slowly away at the threat of the Amazon's longsword and it finally took several female medics to keep her still long enough to take a needle and thread to her wounds. Ash saw-- but did not comment-- as one of the women craftily slipped a local anesthetic into Maiza's shoulder despite her adamant refusals.

Once she'd been patched up, the Amazon left quickly. Ash could only guess at her destination, but it didn't really concern her. The most important thing was that Maiza had received medical attention. Aislinn sought no such care. In fact, if she'd been alone, she would never have come here at all. Avoiding the medics eyes, she hopped down from the cot and made for the entrance. Guessing at her intent, several medics moved to intercept her escape route.

"Sit," One commanded her mildly. Someone took her uninjured arm and steered her towards an unoccupied cot. "We'll have someone by to look at that arm shortly. You may not leave until your wound is treated. It would make it easier for us all if you did not try to run,"

Just as the student doctor stepped away Ami made a quickly turn while holding onto a large stack of papers, today was the day when the young students from the academy got a hands on experience within fourth squad's medical wing. So while the students did the majority of the work, Ami was stuck with the mind numbing and most boring part about this entire job... paper work. It was obvious she hadn't been noticed before now because she purposefully buried herself so that very few people would be able to spot her and stop her while she worked.

Quickly setting the papers in a safe place beside a random cot she quickly snuck up beside Aislinn and glanced over her wounds and didn't really see any besides a huge bruise forming upon her left forearm. Raising an eye brow she grabbed the slip glanced at it quickly as she slowly moved between Aislinn's legs as she sat upon an empty cot. Looking up she grinned warmly and passionately, "Aislinn O'Shea." She giggled and moved in for a quick peck before pulling back and finishing, "What where you doing this time?"

Taking a step back the woman closed her eyes and focused her mind to become empty, visualizing the broken arm she simply slapped her hands together just over her own chest. Taking in a sharp breath Ami pulled her hands towards her chest, and then pushed out as she exhaled and a yellow aura began to glow from her palms that transfered over to Aislinn's forearms. The wound only took a matter of seconds to heal but it was still very much tender. Opening her eyes she nodded coyly as she moved in again and rested her pelvis at the edge of the cot, "Luckily just your radial bone was fractured, you also bruised the bone directly behind it..." She looked at a student which was looking at either of them with awe. The student was a young male and very much enjoying the sight of two women playing doctor. Grinning at him devilishly she hefted herself from the cot and walked just inches from him, her eyes traced his entire form making him even more nervous, just as she intended. {b]"Now tell me, what bone is that?" He shook his head and took a step back as he looked down then looked back up to her, "It the uh..." he stumbled to find the right words, but Ami cut him off, "Ulnar." She took a threatning step towards him and popped him playfully on the forehead, but heard enough to sting, "Make it a habit to know the body, even when your blood has left your brain." she took a a passing glance towards his groin, before making eye contact again. "As you where." the poor young man shook his head and turned stiffly and rubbed his forehead as he continued what he was doing before he began to stare.

Lookign to Aislinn she made a funny face by squinting it together making it obvious that she just had a fun time messing with a persons head, "Think he'll learn not to stare anymore?" she giggled.

Aislinn had been eyeing the door for some time, planning how best to escape from these medics. Their passive aggression much more terrifying than anything an angry hollow could cook up. Luckily, a rather large group of trainees had just been shepherded into the healing room nursing burns of various severity. Probably some kido had gone wrong. Aislinn was briefly reminded of her own disastrous attempts at spoken kidos. She never could keep her focus.

Back to the problem at hand-- Ash was really starting to get nervous. The smell of antiseptic was burning in her nose, try as she might to breathe only through her mouth. She gripped the edges of the cot upon which she sat in agitation. Escape seemed the best option and with those injured trainees creating a diversion, Ash couldn't pass up the chance. Just as she was about to bolt, a familiar voice spoke her name. Her eyes registered alarm, but they quickly crinkled in delight. The tension drained out of her shoulders and she relaxed, now completely oblivious to the environment that had so frightened her.

"Ami, I wasn't doin' anythin'" She grinned innocently at her lover's playful tone. "... But y' should a' seen the other girl," She finished proudly, referring to Maiza, the woman with whom she'd been sparring.

Watching Ami tend to her wound, Aislinn couldn't help but admire her skill. Kidos were something she'd never really grasped at the Academy. Yes, she could perform unspoken kidos if the situation demanded it, but the chants always confused her. The spells themselves were cumbersome enough without all those words involved. Following Ami's ministrations, the heavy bruise vanished along with the pain. Ami really was quite talented. She was about to thank her for the healing when Ami rounded on a male medic nearby who stood agape at the pair of them together. Ash hadn't even noticed him, but she laughed as Ami gave him the what-for. She almost felt sorry for him as he went back to work, face red, gait stiff.

"Want to make 'em really stare?" Aislinn reached out with her previously-wounded arm and pulled Ami to her. The once-bruised muscle only twinged slightly, speaking to Ami's prowess as a healer. She tilted Ami's chin upwards with a gentle hand and planted a passionate kiss on the little healer's mouth. Ash's sharp ears picked up the noticeable drop in noise as more than half the healing room stopped what they were doing to stare. She grinned as she pulled back and lilted, "Thanks for the patch job, Ami,"

Eyeing Aislinn for a moment she grinned and shook her head while crinkling up her nose, "You wasn't doin' anythin'?" She again attempted her accent, and giggled playfully, "An' ya be aimin' to escape too if I hadn't be'n 'er." Giggling again she prodded the woman's side playfully before performing the healing technique. Before she turned around to address the other student she quipped quickly to her following comment, "I told you to play nice Aislinn." She mocked a devilish grin before turning and performing her slightly unprofessional, and flirty disciplinary action upon the student.

As her lover quickly intercepted her chin she obediently followed the unspoken command and kissed back just as passionately, letting her hand quickly rise up to the girls head and grabbed lightly at her hair. Pulling back she licked her lips and reach up with on finger and wiped away her bottom lip as she looked around with a very, very devilish grin, "Any questions?" Looking back to Aislinn with a very devious grin she grabbed her uninjured hand and pulled her from the cot and quickly lead her from the medical building and just a few feet outside. Sliding the door shut with her foot many of the classmates tilted there head to get one last glimpse of the couple before the door was completely latched.

Standing for a moment to giggle and stare into Aislinn's eyes Ami looked away briefly as she held onto both of her hands with her own. Pulling Aislinn close her head tilted to the side slightly and her gaze softened, "I love you." Moving in for another passionet kiss she made sure to press gently against her bottom lip with her own before pulling away and meeting her gaze once again. "Now you be easy on that arm girly." She giggled lightly moving in for just a peck and then taking a step away letting Aislinn go. Ami crossed her arms over her belly as if keeping the warms of Aislinn within her body; giggling again it was apparent that Ami was glowing with pure joy. Being around this woman made her very happy.

"You should probably get going before I get yelled at, I'm supposed to be working." Turning she opened the door and took a small step inside. Her eyes never leaving Aislinn as she continued to gaze longingly. She paused halfway within the entrance and leaned against the door, she lipped again, "I love you." Then turned away and slid the door shut quickly going back to her work as if nothing had ever happened. In all honesty her mind was any where but here...

(I swear... I'm the only person who posts here. Anyway! Ready to go to Hueco Mundo?)

[Assuming this occurs days or even weeks later from the previous post]

An enormous silver wolf shouldered the door of the healing room open and padded across the main floor. In midstride, she, Ash, phased into her human form, looking about for Ami. Those medics who had stopped what they were doing to stare at the wolf quickly busied themselves with their various tasks. They recognized Aislinn from her numerous visits. If any of them were surprised by her shapeshifting ability, they made no comment of it. Still, some of the young men watched her with intense interest.

Too focused on her current task to really take note of the eyes upon her, Ash wended her way through the orderly rows of cots to where Ami sat at a desk going over a patient's chart. Any other day, Ash would have made some comment or another about Ami's apparently never-ending paperwork. But other days were normal and this one was not.

"Ami," Even her tone was off. Her posture, usually so relaxed and confident, looked tense, as though coiled to spring. She'd never been one to hide her emotions and she knew she couldn't have done so, now. Not when Kasen was in danger. Luckily, Ami's presence was calming her enough that she wasn't bolting for the door, but only barely.
PostPosted: Fri Jan 08, 2010 9:17 am

Today Ami was extremely out of shape, her mind had been busy doing paper work all late at night catching up to the new year; and she was nearly completed now. All she had to do was... Ami frantically flipped through the papers and realized all she had left to do was sign them and then she'd be done. Envy had promised to give her a full week off to do whatever she wanted. So it was perhaps just coincidence that Aislinn would come to her now to request her services for a real rescue mission. Her hand quickly flourished her signature and with a flick of the same quilled pen she pushed the paper work into a huge box and she was completed. Another student would come by later to pick them up. So with a happy sigh she leaned back into her chair.

Looking over lazily to her lover she yawned as her arms folded over her chest. She squeaked slightly as she stretched her legs but realized there was something off about Aislinn. Quickly she stood and pushed the chair aside and took a curious step towards Aislinn, and in that same second all of her fatigue was gone.

Reaching out she placed a firm hand on Ash's shoulder and her gaze became more focused and sincere, "Aislinn?" and she could feel her world spin as panic began to set in as she instantly began to maul over why her lover looked so distraught.

Ami's hand on her shoulder anchored Ash somewhat. She could look at her lover with a clear enough head now to realize how her manner was upsetting her. She saw the alarm in Ami's eyes and she instantly chastised herself. It wasn't fair to plague Ami with concern for her when there were greater matters to attend to. Still, she couldn't feign indifference to the situation.

"There's been an abduction," She said carefully, choosing her words for their brevity. For every word she spoke, there were volumes she didn't say. I let him get kidnapped, Ami. It's my fault I couldn't protect him from that arrancar. She clenched her teeth, angry at herself all over again. "Kasen, a member of 10th, was taken by an arrancar a few hours ago. Evil-taicho is mounting a rescue attempt. They're waiting at the mouth of the Labyrinth but they need a healer in case--"

She choked on her words. "He's Pack, Ami," She said softly, trying to keep the desperation out of her tone. It wasn't working. Kasen was like her brother. They shared a bond rivaled only by her feelings for Ami herself. "I need t' save him,"
PostPosted: Fri Jan 08, 2010 8:18 pm

Though Ash had gained slight control of her most outward emotions she did not do such a good enough job to add slack to Ami's own concern for her. Still just as nervous she clung to every word, not moving or speaking until Ash had said ever sentence. As she neared the end where she said, He's Pack, Ami." Ai Ami pulled her lover into a tight embracing hug. Simply holding her for a moment she attempt to mentally transfer confidence into her worried lover.

Pulling back she forced a warm grin, "We will get your brother Kasen back Aislinn O'Shea." Taking a step back she assumed that werewolves where exactly like a normal wolf pack in that the whole pack was family. With that in mind she slid her own hands down Aislinn's arms until she firmly held onto either one of hers. She nodded with a grin and quickly ran over and grabbed her sword. Looking back she nodded as she began to fill a bag with tools used out upon the field of combat. Readying herself for front-line medical equipment. As she did so her mind began to race with the memories and skills she acquired while attending the Academy. As if flash card flipping over her eyes she whispered the main muscles groups, and the arteries that went through each section of body and the bones each muscle was attached too. For Ami it was like reciting her own name.

Looking back again she secured the last of her package and quickly trotted for the door, "I'm ready." Stopping just long enough to open the door she nodded again hinting that Aislinn take her wolf form once more, "We shouldn't keep the forward squad waiting."

As Ami turned back to her, Aislinn phased into her wolf form, shaking out her glossy silver fur. Lean muscle flexed and rippled, belying her anxiety, but she waited as patiently as she could for Ami to signal that she was ready. It might have been a combination of Ami's presence and the wild, free feeling she got whenever she phased, but she felt slightly more confident about the mission.

At the same time, the power of her lupine body reminded her just how fragile the average human was. She wasn't about to insult Ami by considering her average, yet she couldn't help but reflect upon how breakable she seemed, especially considering that Ash's jaws alone could crush bone with ease.

And Ash wasn't even the enemy.

She had certainly vowed to rescue her Pack brother, but she added a new priority: namely to protect Ami from harm. At any cost, no matter how dear.

At Ami's last words, she padded towards the door, weaving around Ami and brushing against her side. Even the brief contact was bracing, given that wolves were a very physical species. Touch meant comfort and security. Ash wished it wasn't the case, but she needed both.

Let's go. With a soft growl, she bounded forwards, glad to be free of the blood-and-antiseptic smell of the healing center. Stretching her muscles, she fell into a steady lope. It wasn't the fastest she could travel, but she kept the pace for Ami's sake. It wasn't that she believed Ami couldn't match her speed, but she had a cumbersome bag of medical instruments that could hamper her. Not only that, but the pair of them would need to conserve their energy for what could prove to be a dangerous mission.

(Exit! I'll post in the Labyrinth in Las Noches tomorrow.)
PostPosted: Sat Jan 09, 2010 9:09 pm

n a completely different light, Ami would appear to look fragile, and in many ways she was extremely fragile; but at the same time as glass could easily be broken, it then, when broken could cut extremely easily. Not to say that it took for her to broken to become an effective warrior, but it was a practiced fact that she was more than just some porcelain doll. She was a trained and exceptional Shinigami warrior and medic.

With a grin she simply nodded to the woman's command and followed quickly after, and even though she did not know how to perform any form of Shunpo. she could force her legs and body into a slight of glide between steps which was a factor built in by her Shikai and this allowed her to travel faster and to use less energy to travel at this quick of pace. As logn as Aislinn kept this quick yet steady pace Ami would have no problem reaching the gate to Las Noches.

Not knowing any of Aislinn's thoughts Ami simply carried on thinking that she was here to heal any injured soldier that was caught behind enemy territory and to heal those rescuing him. It made sense to protect a Medic but if she had known Ash's thoughts she would have quickly defended herself saying she was capable enough to protect herself and to tell Ash to worry about only her objective and herself.

The small woman carried herself along side Aislinn and as they made distance she quickly yelled out in a friendly tone, "How exactly are we getting to Las Noches?" this question was on her mind ever since Aislinn said Las Noches, since it was in the hollow world it would take a special gate to get there. Unless there was from previous attack upon Las Noches, a gate into such a place created or readily accessible to any squads in need of intruding directly into enemy territory.

A shinigami wandered into the Squad Four healing quaters, staggering from side to side, almost as if he was using the walls to keep him upright. His eyes were wide with pain and unfocussed, and his body was littered with lacerations and holes of different sizes. At a glance, the most obvious and prominent injury was that of the gaping hold in his abdomen, and a huge deep gash along his back. The hole was somewhat covered by a teal cape which had been torn in half, tied around the wound to prevent excessive blood loss. The blood seeped from the wound and dripped from off the already drneched cape. Other injuries that could be seen were a bloody gash along the Shinigami's left side, a number of bullet wounds in his hip and shoulders, and a nasty looking cut to the forehead.

The Shinigami steadied himself for a moment. "Kaisho... Fuyu-k-ki, Third Seat of... Se-seve-nth S-s-s-squad! Reque-" He muttered, giving into the pain and blood loss and toppling to the floor in a heap.

Kusari staggered into the healing room using the redeemer as a walking stick. He looked down at Kaisho and laughed. "p***y." His teeth were blood stained, but he continued to smile. Walking over to a chair, he sat down. "Bring on the drugs." He began to remove his top, revealing many wounds. It was a miracle that he was still standing, and the damage would probably be lasting, but Kusari was to stubborn to stop fighting because of a little pain.

(((Left arm is dislocated and has been stabbed. He has been shot in his stomach and left leg. His right hip has an open gash about six inches long. Basically he's lost a lot of blood and is probably going to die soon.)))

A pair of very young twin girls, Ecalipsa and Numia made their way from what appeared to be the shadows of a nearby room. Appearing just before the man Numia quickly wrapped herself under one of his arms while Ecalipsa did the same on the other side. Both took a steady breath and picked him up and fluidly slid his entire body onto a bed cot that was stationed nearby; and some how with all of these moves they where able to move him without much pain, and not causing any further injury to any already pre-exsisting wound. As either girl on either side of the man focused on what they where doing, their palms began to glow as they attending different wounds that where lining his entire body.

His skin began to glow and a numbing sensation washed over every wound as he slowly began to heal, looking into his eyes both girls spoke in unison, "Please remain calm, your wounds will be healed shortly."

{{ Who are you healing first? }}

Meanwhile, Kaisho was making a mess on the floor as a small pool of blood began to fill around him. He retainted some form of consciousness and when Kusari walked in a cursed him, he laughed. "hey..." he groaned, "I'm not a p***y. I just got a little too careless is all..."

He noticed that he sat down and muttered something else, but his consciousness kept slipping slightly and coming back. He heard the sound of footsteps in the room, and looked up to see twins funning around helping Kusari. Finding the energy from somewhere, Kaisho picked himself from off the floor and stood up, clutching his stomach and being careful not to stretch his back. He sawyed before calling for some assistance again.

{{ Recap: Kaisho's stomach was driven through by a spear, he has a few bullet wounds on his hip and arms. His back was slashed and there's a cut on his forhead. His hands and feet are bruised too. }}

Elys would walk into the healing room looking around having received a call from one of the earth stationed shinigami of a new arrival in the hospital. Apparently some big battle went down and this man was one of the people tether on being a causality. She'd spot the two students Ecalpse and numia taking care of his more basic needs, but they'd forgotten to check if he'd need anything taken from his body and to properly clean his wounds, also from how beat up the man looked he need a blood transfusion. So getting at least his name was best to find his blood type on file. Elyse would give a frustrated sigh as she'd rush over and place a firm hand on numia's shoulder.
" Please tell me you were preping him for cleaning his wounds.." Elyse would sound a bit vexed, but obviously holding back. She'd look to the man and ask his name. " Sir I'll just ask you to focus for a bit and just tell me your name and squad." Looking to Ecalipse, " now watch carefully, you should always check if someone has anything foreign in the wounds. If you don't they'll heal but it may cause complications later, like infection. " Elyse would quickly start to clean his wond and the student numia would have gone to get the blood as soon as he'd simply tell them his name.

ELyse would move quickly on to using "Chiyudou # 5 Kai kizu" to close up his flesh wounds. As long as it wasn't a severed limb or a ruptured organ, it would suffice on the gash, and stabs. As for placing his shoulder back, Elyse went with the old fashion method and used her knowledge of the bone structure to relax his muscles enough so she could pop it back in, he'd feel a nudge and no pain since the students handled the part of prep. As for the tissue damage it would be healed with the same chiyudou, but as for if he had nerve damage that would remain unknown.
With him receiving blood intravenously he would be stable until Elyse would come to finish up closing his wounds. using her shikai's power to finally finish his damaged organs.
Lokking to the two students she'd smile and give them a thumbs up and a pat on the back for being quick to respond.
"Thank you girls, and Kusari I suggest not getting your self so ******** next time. It's a lot of work for the healing corps but I'm glad your okay. so just heal up for me kay." Elyse would give him a soft smile as she'd walk away from his bed side and find a seat just outside the healing room leaning back in the chair with a distant haze in her eyes. She was thinking about Ami. She wanted to talk to her but she didn't know how to approach her at the moment, but Elyse being herself she'd most likely just just go for it and say hey.

Elyse would snap out of her daze and head back in to get the other shinigami that the students on hand should have placed in a bed already and set the poor guy up with blood, at least he said his name as soon as her entered.

((All better, but i hope you don't mind me kinda puppeting you saying your name and squad I wanted to get you fixed up quick Your chara was loking like s**t from your description, hehe))
