bagel could only smile back and blush just the same. her innocence was showing thru as well as her embarrassment. Bagel was keen to her averting eyes to. He was not stranger to the emotion she was feeling now. in fact he almost fell victim to such a quandary when he had caught a glimpse of her laced undergarments. Hormones are hormones and natural urges are very hard to contain. weather or not you understand them is the key. Despite bagels obvious impression of the level of maturity in her countenance at this point and time she reminded him of a young girl about 16 that go the same look on her face when she caught him in eh shower once.

quite and interesting event that was. Blush shrouded apologies and very awkward communication for days to follow. Then it struck bagel like a ton of bricks. His mind still waking up sent him the memory of a naked demon.(not explicit memory, but a memory of him being naked). bagel felt a bit of pity for he knew that may have been the very first time she had seen something like that. still not sure how to handle the awkward moment bagel did something he was often skilled at doing, changed the subject matter.

"Perhaps we should see if there would be anyone that needs our aid. imp sure the citadel has parts that are not of earthen make that may need my aid in fixing, and I'm sure you have talents that may be needed as well." Bagel couldn't help blushing himself. for him this was more of a matter of amusement and he tried to hide best he could so he didn't hurt the poor nuns feelings.

Pure innocence...a rare find... and too tempting for a mind like mine

((Sorry I haven't posted often, but I've been rather busy lately...and I'm sorry for calling your character's power alchemy Bagel san. sweatdrop ))

Quinta retrieved her scarf from where Bagel left it. Holding the materal loosely in her small hands, she stared after him with an air of curious regret. Having been lost in the memories of her past, she hadn't noticed him waking up until he was already walking away from her. She had tried to help him, only to not be noticed and left behind. Sighing, she wrapped the black scarf around her neck and sat with her back to the pillar, watching Bagel and Sister Raven talk.

If there was one thing that the little sheep anthro couldn't understand, it was loneliness. Yet she felt it all the time. Back home, if one could call the drab, cage like building 'home', she was usually locked away in one of the many small rooms. With no one to talk to or even look at, she would often just sleep the days and weeks away, waking up only to eat and relieve herself. It was lonely life, but it was the only life she ever knew. On the rare occaisions, like now for example, when she managed to escape she would pratically bubble over with joy at the many things to see and do. Oh, and the people. It was amazing how many different people there were in the world, and most of them didn't mind talking to her.

Quinta wasn't a child by any means. While her body was small, and her chest not as noticible as many other women around, she was still ninteen years of age. She just did not know how to handle herself around others, causing her to seem alot younger then her ninteen years should. Years of being sealed inside those dull grey walls had stunted her mental growth. At the same time, however, she was able to adapt rather well to the outside world having escaped her home and guards to visit it often. It just confused her when people didn't notice her when she was out here.

As an anthro, she often stood out more often then this, and if that didn't do then her extreamly expensive cloaks usually did. However, with the mass confusion and excitement around the titan and the demon, she had slipped into the background. If only her power hadn't been sealed......But then dreaming of such a thing was something she did all to often. She wasn't able to remove the seal herself, and no one whom ever examined the metallic substence around her wrists were able to figure out what it was made of, non the less how to remove it.

Slumping back, she sat perfectly still but for the rise and fall of her chest to indicate that she was alive. Legs outstretched in fornt of her, the split hooves of her feet poking out from the bottem of her cloaks, she lowered her head until her chin almost reached her chest. This way she remained, like a life sized broken doll, her hat balanced on her head in a way to hide her face from those people walking by. Perhaps if she stayed like this long enough, her caretakers would hurry up and find her. At least at home it was easy to ignore the feeling of loneliness that washed over her in a continous swell.

Zandar hobbled aimlessly for a while, looking back at Kurtz to see what he was doing, then saw the girl he had met earlier. He made his way over to her, and just smiled to himself at how comical he must look. It was nearly impossible not to see him coming, that was just how slow he moved. He finally got a few feet away. "I thought I saw someone I knew." he smiled.

He sat down next to her and tipped his hat up. He leaned back against the pillar and looked over at her then lifted his hat completely off his head, setting it down next to him. He laid his staff next to it and let his pack slide off his shoulders, landing with a dull, reverberating thud nearby.

"Feel like talking?" He smiled and lifted her hat up, looking for a smile. "You really shouldn't mope about, really. It's bad for you." He sat back against the pillar and sighed slightly. He rested his elbows on his knees and crouched down in an attempt to meet Quinta at eye level.

(That was REALLY REALLY BAD. Really short post. Blech.)

((Meh, we all have our off days.))

She jumped as he spoke to her. Being so caught up in her own little world, Quinta hadn't even noticed him as he walked over to where she was sitting. Raising her head slightly as he took a seat by her, she stared out at him from under the rim of her hat as he made himself comfortable. When he lifted her hat up to see her face, however, she quickly adverted her dual colored eyes and stared out across the cobblestones. Luckly she looked away quickly enough for him not to notice her staring. It would have been embarssing (sp?) if she started blushing.

Continuing to avoid eye contact, she turned her gaze to the tips of her hooves. They weren't that interesting to look at, not to her at least, but it gave her something to distract her mind from the man sitting next to her. Tapping her hooves together to make a faint, metallic pinging noise, she sighed. "I wouldn't mind talking, it's just that no one seems to want to talk to me back." Her soft, breezy voice whispered out so quietly that it was probably hard for even Zander to hear.

Not that her statement was true anyway. Afterall, it wasn't like she was walking around and attempting to strike up a conversation with anyone. It was just so much easier to get depressed and pretend that it was everyone elses fault at times like these. Besides, the sheep anthro wasn't a stranger to mood swings and usually had them often. Only when she was at home would her mood stay perfectly the same. Lonely with a twinge of regret thrown in. That was what often drove her to escape and visit different places.
Once that mood washed back over her, however, it usually wasn't long before her caretakers would find her and lead her back home. One could say that they were able to locate her by focusing in on her when she was in that type of mood.

However, even though she attempted to stop it, a small spark of happiness flared up inside her. Now she had someone to talk to, and they came to her willingly. This time she didn't have to hunt them down using the bond that she connected between them.

"I don't see why..." He said with a smile added. "...nobody would want to talk to such an interesting person as you." he was trying to encourage her, as well as try to strike up a conversation. If he seemed to be flirting, it was completely unintentional. He kept smiling and hoped that by the end of this conversation he could get her to make eye contact.

"So, Quinta, right? What brought you to the Citadel in the first place? It's pretty interesting how many people there are here. Especially that huge guy and the demon, huh?" He looked over at where Bakemono and Sister Raven were, noticing the obviously scared look on the demon's face. I guess he wasn't expecting her to react like that... he thought to himself as he caught a glimpse of Kurtz, still walking slowly away.

He was glad to have someone to talk to. He was a traveller at heart, and most of the time travelled alone. He rarely had someone to talk to, and was overjoyed to be able to calmly converse with someone. He somewhat preferred it this way; so many interesting people to see everywhere he goes, and, almost as importantly, peculiar things to eat. He always had to try the local flavor.

Zandar was a simple man, with simple needs. he had main wants; the basics, to eat, sleep, and drink, as well as peculiar needs like travelling and fighting. Above all, he liked to eat. He never ate a food he hated. He didn't have a disorder or anything, as evidenced by his in-shape body and simply his ability to lift and carry his pack, which was very heavy. Conversation was an essential thing to any sane person; it kept them from crossing over into insanity, and even- Zandar shuddered when he thought of this -monologuing.

(that was... better.)

Ty winced when another lady made her way over to the small group. The woman was just as energetic as the other even if she wasn't as bubbly. It had her head reeling to be around to women that were going to bicker and fight. The one dressed in red seemed to be some what of a ditz. It even had her chuckling a bit. She could understand what the other sister was going through. Her own sister was a bit naive when it came to things of life. This very girl reminded her of her younger sister. The two seemed to be bickering. The girl in pink was a healer and yet she was asking her sister what it was she should do. Tylian shook her head. Perhaps the girl needed some direction. Not that she was offering she could just imagine the girl would drive her up a wall but she would surly get along with the fantasy living sister she had back home. Aye the two of them would mesh well.

The little pinky ( your new nickname Cherry) squat down and clasped her hands together as if she was saying a prayer. Ty watched her with interest. It was a fact that all healers had different ways of healing and she knew for a fact that her way was perhaps not the same as the pink woman's way. Aye she did know the name but it didn't seem to suit the woman she should be called pinky instead of cherry. Shrugging her shoulders at her own foolish thoughts she paid attention to what was going on.

As she watched she scene before her she scoffed. She should have known. The pink glow that surrounded the man did not surprise her. What else could you expect from a woman that had pink everything? Healing was a part of you and so naturally when she healed she would use what was within her to heal and everything within her seemed to ooze pink. The chit was talking to herself as she healed the man. Ty wondered if she even knew what she was about. She would laugh but she was sure that the woman would loose all of her concentration and the man would be pushed further down than need be. The light around the man grew brighter and brighter until it began to hurt her eyes to watch. How foolish this little lady was to have her power exposed for all to see. Aye she had opened herself for many to use her if that was their will. All they had to do was control her little mind and then she would be at their beck and call.

The man woke up after pinky poked him and he did not seem pleased. He ordered her to turn off her powers and the two girls seem to be at a loss. Neither of them knew how to cloak their powers. Her mouth fell open. Well now that was even more dangerous for them than showing that they had powers. Now they could be found by anyone that was looking to drain a powerful source. Why was she feeling the need to help these girls was beyond her. They didn't need her help. They had each other and she was sure they would eventually manage to learn to control themselves. Though she wasn't sure they would gain any sort of common sense. Shaking her head she watched as the elf disappeared and the two begin to look around to see how they could help any others in the area. Well at least they were looking to do a good service. Brownie points for them.

Ty was pretty bored with the whole thing.

' You know that you should help those girls. They are young and they don't know what to do with themselves.'

' Did I ask for your opinion? No so there shut it!'

'Make Me'

' Damnit all to hell can't you just leave me alone for one day. Its enough that you are my subconscious but do you have to bother me every day. I swear you are becoming a nuisance. I don't know why I accepted you when you were offered. If I had known you were this much trouble I would have rather walked about the place without a care as to my actions.'

Tylian continued to grumble to herself even as she followed behind the two girls. Darn it she had to get home to her sister she didn't have time for this frivolous foolishness.

The voice in her head giggled, ' I win!'

Reaching up to push her hat off so it would hang down against her back, Quinta brought her knees up to her chest and leaned forward against them. Folding her arms around her legs, she rested her chin on her knees and continued to stare down where her hooved tipped feet were a moment ago. Now her voice was muffled by the thick scarf that was pulled tighter over her mouth by the position she was in. "I came here to get away for at least a little while." Flicking her gaze up at the now clothed demon and then to the titan before letting it rest on Sister Raven and Bagel. Sighing again she lowered her eyes back to the cobblestones in front of her.

"They are pretty interesting I supose. Although they did make a mess of things." narrowing her eyes, she traced on of the many cracks that still broke up the cobblestone floor. The was still alot of repairing to do before things were made right again. Heaving another sigh, getting angry at herself because she allowed herself to slip into such a depressed state, she ran a hand through her snowy hair. She pushed it out of her face, only for the silky locks to slid back in place a moment later. Perhaps she should get it cut again, although her caretakers had been out of their minds with anger the first time she did that. They also weren't to please with the random pleats woven in. It wouldn't do to have them guard her extra carefully for another few months again. She had almost gone mad with bordom the last time.

Shaking her head lightly, attempting to keep her thoughts in one place instead of having them drift all over the place, She reached up and tucked some strands of hair behind her left horn. Tapping a translucent finger nail against the horn as she did so, she decided to attempt to continue the conversation with Zander. Afterall, when her caretakers did finally find her again, it was impossible to tell when she would get to have another conversation with anyone. "So..." Taking her scarf in both hands, she pulled it down away from her mouth, unwilling making the seals around her wrists visible when she did this. "You've heard my reason. Now why are you here visiting the Citadel?"

While she was only turning his own question back to him at least now he would have reason to continue to talk to her. At that thought, a small smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, but she was able to keep her face mostly blank. Except for her eyes, that is. While it was harder to tell with her black eye, her right eye, the red one, shone with an inner light. Betraying her joy that she was working so hard to hide.

"Well..." Zandar reached for his belt and untied the sheath of his brand new dagger. "First off, I was looking for a keepsake. This would be... what I was looking for." he unsheathed the dagger, and pointed to a small emerald with a symbol similar to a large "S" engraved into it. "It's a long story, but the short version is this emeral was stolen from me... I believe it belonged to my father. I managed to find it and get enough money to buy it back, as well as this nice way to keep from losing it. He resheathed the dagger and tied it back to his belt.

"After that I didn't feel like leaving right away, and after that demon and the titan fought... I thought I could be of at least some assistance." he sighed. "if only." he whispered, barely audible even to himself. "I did what I could, but I don't think I'll be able to help any more." He smiled sheepishly. "I can barely even stand without the help of my staff right now." He looked over at her for a short while then looked to the ground.

"I have no doubt the entire Citadel would be destroyed right now if the fight hadn't been abruptly stopped." He looked around for the titan and the woman he was talking to, finally catching a glimpse of them before his gaze fell back down. "And... I just travel. Looking for new places to go, new clients... more places..." to hide. He finished that last sentence in his mind, not particularly wanting anyone to hear.

~Hey tough guy....you can get up now.~

"Leave me alone....I'd rather sulk in my hole....."

~If you don't get up, I'll go over the details of my last few love affairs.~

The man shot up out of the hole he'd made.

"Okay okay! I'm up! just....stop talking about that.....for one, it's disgusting...secondly...."

~jealous?~

"well, maybe a, HEY WAIT A SECOND!" Again the man seemed to be talking to himself as he stood up and glanced around the spot he'd landed in the citadel.

"Huh, i figured it'd be abit busier around here. Espcially if some demon-thingy went on a rampage here. Maybe the big 'L' wasn't on his mark."

~Demon thingy? Is that a technical term?~

"......."

~Sorry.~

"Now then, we need to find someone and find out just -where- the hell we are. Since 'master' didn't think it prudent to give us a map of any sort."

~Even if he did, do you think we'd be able to read it?~

The man looked thoughtful for several long minutes. Then nodded,

"a good point. In any case Garridan, you have the best supernatural sense, where's the most people?" As he said this he reached into his coat and pulled out a deck of what looked like specialized playing cards. Purple backs to them with various mystic circles drawn on them. He shuffled the deck then started to draw cards in a specific order.

~you know, I -could- just tell you which direction instead of us doing this little game every time you want to channel my spirit.~

The man with the shades frowned slightly. Then started to pick the cards back and put them into the deck.

"Fine, ruin my fun. Which direction?" He said in a mildly bitter tone.

Nodding lightly as he spoke, Quinta almost seemed to drift off for a few minutes as he finished. To be able to travel wherever you wanted, to visit new places and meet new people without having to worry about being found and dragged 'home' everytime a certain mood overtook you or if you attempted to remove the seal that twined around each wrist. It seemed like the perfect dream for the sheep anthro. To never have to go back to that ugly grey building unless she wanted to. To be able to live like that would cause her to feel so much happiness that she would be bound to explode trying to keep it all in.

The dreamy smile drifted over her nearly translucent lips and she lifted her hands up in front of her face. Holding them palms outward, she gazed at the substence that wrapped so snugly around her wrists and over the backs of her hands that it appeared to be a part of her. Concentraiting on her supressed power with every ounce of strength that she could muster, the black strands of the seals began to glow a faint red that slowly grew brighter. Her face was twisted with the stress she was putting on herself, but she continued to smile and just faintly, a flicker of red appeared in her solid black left eye.

Just when it appeared that she would succeed in breaking the seal, however, the seals released a flash of blinding red tinted light and she screamed as she was flung to the side from the force of the magic that incircled her wrists. Cluching her arms to her chest, she lay on the ground for a few minutes before pulling herself back up into her origional sitting position. Holding her hands back out, she reveiled the damage caused by her attempt at breaking the seal.

Black scorch marks marred her skin around the shiny black substence of the seals. Her fingers were twitching slightly from pain and she sighed as she lowered her hands. Letting her cloaks fall back down to hide them from view, she turned her head and finally made eye contact with Zander. "I wish I could travel around and visit new places. At this rate however, they're going to find me before I even get out of this citadel." Her black eye was just that again. Pure shiny black like the seals on her wrists without a hint of red to be seen.

Zandar was startled into awareness by the blinding light, and covered his eyes as he fell backwards to the ground. "My eyes..." He rubbed at his eyes for a while and grinned sheepishly as his hands fell from his eyes. "They? Who's they?" He looked at the seals and a look of amazement covered his face. "What... what is that? I've seen it before... I think..."

He pondered the seals on Quinta's for a while, and suddenly muttered "I do not have the power to break them. Maybe... maybe once I overcome a curse of my own.... but not now. He had a sad smile on his face. "Nor can I keep whoever they are from finding you. But if you wish to find me, I will tell you... my real name.

He leaned over and whispered into her ear, a name that, although it was in a different language, sounded somewhat like "k'hos mhakul" Which, if translated, would be it's own contradiction. K'hos would mean "blessed son," and mhakul would mean "cursed abomination" if you said them to him in his long-dead language.

"If you ever wish to see me, I have a feeling you'll be able to find me, now. He smiled. Maybe he was being a bit too kind and trusting. Knowing his name meant having some form of power over him. He really needed to trust whomever he told it to, and, even though he barely knew this girl, he felt like he could completely trust her.

Wil's teleportion scroll had failed in a way... he had only managed to say the half that teleported him not the half that said his target destination... oh the horror! He could be anywhere on a thousand planes. But luckily the writers need for character kept Wil from the abyss and he found himself on the roof of one of the Citadel buildings quite content with the now quieter voices and buzzing from below him he shook his head and felt his hair getting a little angry at Baza but calmed himself, anger would do him no good.

Sighing he began to take stock on his own power inside of him, he couldnt control it very well but he could watch it and shape it vaguely at a general direction if he wanted too... however half of the time the opposite of what he wanted would occur but hey! Practice makes perfect doesnt it... ((Unless of course your practicing could annihiliate the world Mwahahaha... ninja or a least attract the attention of passerby's and cause irrefutable damage))
