As Maia spoke to her, she nodded her head the bare minimum it took to realize acceptance, just in case Mizu was watching. " I agree with you fully, lets show him a bit more power though." She muttered low enough so Maia could hear her. Then, Ruri ran ahead of the group to get into a good spot of sunlight as it finally peaked a little into the trees. "My master was in charge of war matters. He tended to come back slightly bloody, though he never would tell me why he was fighting in the first place." She sighed happily as a ray of light burst through a break in the foliage. Ruri immediately fell onto all fours, her body changing position to fit a more lion like frame. Her hair grew out to cover Ruri's body in a mixture of fur and feathers. Wings sprouted and grew from her back, casting off black feathers that shaded to purple. Ruri's face elongated to become a black beak and her eyes moved to the side of her head. Feathered ear tuffs also grew themselves from the top of her head and started to move around as if they were actually used for listening. When she was finally finished she looked to be a strange cross between a eagle and a black lion and left her kimono in a heap on the ground. Ruri shook herself all over and smiled a gryphonic grin. "Thats...sooooo much better. I missed being in this form...you have noooo idea." She stretched her claws and dug little furrows in the ground as she waited for the others to catch up.

Mizu was angry that those fools were interfering with his plan and they also might blow his cover. If anything, what made him feel the msot anger was they were seeing him witohut his armor. Did they not realize the plan to assasinate the High Priestess. The paln was to pose as victims of the war and try to gain access to the Lake of Allies, then killing the Priestess during the night as well as cutting down that cursed tree.

"WOuldn't it be easier for you to move about in human form?" Rikku asked Ruri calmly. "This area isn't very big..... I bet you cant wait until you can fly! then you won't have to worry about any of this any more. You can go wherever you want whenever you want." She smiled trying to get Ruri pumped up for learning to fly.

"How do you know all that...?" He asked admiring her knowledge. "I suppose it is best to know your enemy... but you must've had alot of time on your hands... to learn about creatures that are usually very peaceful."

Eran sighed and swam up, towards the surface of the water. Finally reaching his destination, he reached out and grabbed a trout right out of the water. He cracked its skull open and ate it in one swift bite. He raised his hand and muttered slightly. A large wave swelled up behind him and pushed him foward, against the sea's natural current. Finally reaching the coast, he swam rapidly around the coast. "It is kind of funny to see how slow you are in the water now." Tai laughed swimming a quick circle around him. "Although I have to admit you armor looks badass." He said calmly.

Jewlet took off. "Hm. Ok." She stopped and looked at Katsu. She stuck out her tounge and laughed. She turned back and headed for the tall sea weed. Fish swam out from the sea weed when she entered. She rested on the floor of the sea hiden by the sea weed.

"Sunia! A war bewteen two fair clans have broken out on the island!" Sunia looked at the fairy. "Ok thank you for telling me." Sunia took off and traveled across the sea just 12 inches above the surface. Heading for the island the fairy spoke of.
