"Stay calm guys."
Light ducked and sprung back from the blade of one of the demons. Light quickly drew Remorse and Passion and twirled them about. He blocked with one katana and attacked with the other, slashing limbs off leaving some demons headless.
"We all have perfect weapons for this."
Light quickly sheathed his katanas and whipped Fuuinshin off from his back. He twirled around and stepped forward before slashing the blunt weapon at the knees of a wave of demons. Several of them flew back with the shattering noise of bone being crushed and took down even more behind them. The zweihander was originally used to counter enemies with longer weapons and strike at the lower body to cripple the enemy while at the same time remain safe. With the combination of James' scythe and David's large claymore they could keep the demons at bay for a while. But even then it would be a while before every demon had been slain.
"The messes I get into." He muttered to himself and slammed his heel into the chest of a demon, sending it back.

as they were in the middle of fighting off the demons James thought of something and asked Light about it if the paintings were painted with demons blood what are the chances that the demons we have just slain can regenerate from pools of their blood we're making

Light shot a glance towards James quickly and just as quickly looked over to some paintings. Just as James had feared the more demons that were killed the more that were forming back and reappearing from the frames. "Well isn't this just a bowl of apple jacks." Light scoffed. They would need to come up with a plan.

whitefang moved out of the way of the clones attack. all of a sudden the clone dissappeared and was no where to be seen. whitefang looked around the room "this is boring" as he said this the ground started to grumble " Uh oh im outta here" whitefang ran for it while the ground underneath started to fool` away "HEEELLLLPPPP!!!" whitefang shouted as it echoed down the hall way

"This way!"
A voice responded back to Whitefang and a passageway opened up further down the hall. An arm reached out and waved to Fang, hurrying him to come to safety. There'd be a ladder that led up and out of the chamber. The odd thing was that when he got there there'd be no one to see. Plus there was no telling how far up the ladder actually went....

"Freakin..." David said, narrowly dodging another swipe at his head. He drew the short sword in his left him, quickly slicing through the stomach of his attacker. He then stood up, and span around, slicing through the midsection of several more demons with a large arc. A demon jumped up, and shot down at him, attempting to impale his head with its claws. "Feh..." David muttered, taking a step forward, and bringing his claymore up in a down to up vertical arc. He sliced the demon cleanly in two. "You think we can destroy those paintings with our weapons?" David asked Light, dispatching another demon with minimal effort.

"It's worth a shot....But if one of us goes off into this horde alone, I don't think we'll get back out."
Light thought out loud and reacted to any demon who tried to attack him by simply countering and slashing at it's vitals with quick and precise attacks. "James! I'll clear a way for you! David, want to get his back?" Light didn't really wait for a response as he gripped Fuuinshin tightly. With a loud grunt he swung it over his shoulder, pivoted on his feet. He turned around several times, eventually becoming a blurred image. "Haaah!" Light roared out and swung Fuuinshin down towards the nearest wall. The demon that was in front of him slammed into the ground with it's skull caved in. But when the zweihander hit the ground, the ground itself shook as Light stepped forward and took Fuuinshin with both hands. He swung his sword out in a diagonal arch at a line of demons. With an almost surprising amount of force, the demon shot back, taking whatever was in it's path back with it. The wall shook from the force and Light kept spinning around from his previous attack.
"Now's your chance!!" Light yelled out. There was a small clear path from Light to the wall and where a small pile of demons were laying.

"Follow me, James!" David barked out, sheathing his claymore, and drawing his other short sword. He ran through the path, not waiting for James to keep going. Any demon that tried to clog up the path once again, was quickly cut down by David. They decided then to get smart, and bunch up in the path to form a fleshy barricade in front of David and James.
"Storming Blades." David muttered. This was not an energy ability at all. It was purely physical. David's arms were blurs as they shot out in front of him, taking hundreds of stabs per minute. The demons screamed as they were literally torn through. Unfortunately, David could only keep it up for so long, but James would be gone by then, David having had made an opening in the barricade.

James charges through the opening dodging and slicing demons in half as he goes This better work! James jumps up stepping on a demons head crushing it on impact then he jumps again even higher, he arcs his scythe as far back as he can then swings it, he slashes one of the picture flames cutting deep into the wall behind it any effect?!

At the destruction of the picture the ring of a small bell chimed out and somewhere amongst the horde of demons several of them were starting to fade away in a small cloud of smoke. It was now clear that the picture frames would get rid of the demons. But there were still many many frames left and just as many demons to cut through.
The demons now aware that the warriors had figured out their fatal weakness would smarten up and divide themselves into inner and outer waves. The outer protecting the frames while the inner closed in on the warriors to slaughter them..

David jumped forward, and grabbed James, without even asking for consent. Jumping off a demon's head, with James in tow, he shot towards Light, landing right next to him. David went back to back with Light and James, making a triangle formation. "I figured this would help us. We should move in a group, targeting one picture at a time. James, you should be the one to take out the pictures, since you have the longest range. Light, you and I should cover him." David said, quickly dispatching a couple of demons next to him.

"Agreed."
Light had stopped spinning by now and had kept Fuuinshin out to his left side. He looked from the left and to the right, trying to envision both formations of the demons as two whole entities instead of hundreds of single demons. "It'll take some time...but we don't have time to hesitate. Let's do it until we can think of a faster way to destroy them." Light spoke and gripped his sword tightly. He slammed the zweihander into several more demons, breaking their arms, legs, skulls, ribs, whatever had managed to get caught within Light's range. After swinging he'd quickly slash out Remorse, taking care of any demon who thought they could get past his defense. Light would start to slowly move towards one wall.

James continued attacking the demons waiting for an opening Light!, David! I'm going in! James grabs a nearby demon by the neck then uses it as a ram to push himself out of the inner ring of demons he tosses the limp demons body back towards the inner ring knocking down five demons, the outer ring of demons did not wait long to attack which James counters with a couple wide swings of his scythe

David ran right behind James, and jumped onto his shoulders the moment the outer ring attacked. He had already drawn his claymore, which was clutched in his right hand. He shot off of Jame's shoulder, over the demons he dispatched, moving right over the heads of another squad of demons. He swiped his claymore under him, going from left to right. This cleaved the heads of the demons under him in half, dropping them to the ground. "Go!" David said to James.
