Hidden by the surrounding mountains there is an old cathedral that has long been abandoned. The holy structure holds many mysteries as no-one knows who built it or when. The waters surrounding the cathedral are calm although a ripple occasionally pushes away from the towers as if something or someone was pulsating with life.
The light shines gloriously upon the cathedral, illuminating it's mysterious archectural shell. Upon entering the limits of the cathedral a subtle sense of infinity could be felt. Infinity you wonder?
Indeed.
The area exists out of time. What lies beyond the doors is subject to the imagination, subject to fear, and subject to ones soul. Fate has brought you here but it's purpose is still shrouded in darkness.
[ As the description says this place exists outside of time. Whatever happens in here won't effect the current Vaste Lorde plot, unless otherwise agreed to by whoever your character is involved with. (If you're fighting or talking with someone and something changes to your character in here, the people you are fighting/talking with have to agree to it.)
If you peoples have any ideas that you'd think would work with this place PM me about it.

[Locations]&[NPC's]
~I'll update the locations and NPC's as they're discovered.~
[Bridge]- A lengthy bridge connects the main island to the mountainous pathway. A small canal sits beneath the bridge and surrounds the Cathedral and it's smaller sister towers. Once you step on the bridge you've entered the timeless zone..
[Main Room/Entrance]- There are 6 doors in this room. Four of which are on the first floor and at each surrounding wall. The other two are on the left and the opposing right wall on the second floor. Two flights of curling stairs rise to the second level platform. Each door-save the entrance leads to a hallway filled with more doors. The stained glass windows reflect various hues within the room, painting the inside walls with an ethereal light.
[Library]- A small library filled with older books. The musty smell of antiquity and dust taint the air. Perhaps within their pages a secret or two might be revealed...
[NPC's]
[Cloaked Figure]- Clothed in black robes, this figure watches from the background, blending in with the shadows they observe the warriors. This person emits no signal of life, giving the impression of a ghost. Before you get can get a chance to approach them they fade away from sight. Friend or foe, their position is still a mystery..
[Nightmare]- A manifestation of gathered fears, Nightmare can form full sensory illusions to tactically play with ones mind. Oddly it's energy is both angelic and demonic. This creature's sword Fuuinkai has the ability to absorb and produce various sound waves. Nightmare has one major weakness which can only be exploited by facing your fears...

A face to face confrontation with their fears was the key to destroying Nightmare. After the sudden battle, each warrior is left to wonder what other mysterious lie behind the Cathedral doors...

A lone figure had made himself known as he stood at the outside perimeters of the cathedral, peering down the bridge that seperated the cathedral itself from the surrounding land. With his white coat tailing behind him at his stride, Light walked ahead towards the entrance. The rings on the bottom of his shoes clicked and clacked at each step.
"...."
The rectangular shaped zweihander on the half-angel's back started to pulsate subtly as Light got closer to the building. The air was calm and it was making Light suspect things that may or may not be there. Although the air around the cathedral seemed familiar. He couldn't quite place his thumb on it, but he knew something was similar. He guessed he'd find more answers inside.

Taking his shades off, Light looked around the inside of the building. He couldn't sense any life nearby at the moment but something about the place made him suspect that there was more to this cathedral then met the eye.
"Hmf.."
Putting his shades back on Light turned to the right and pushed open another set of doors...

[ yawn ]
After a moment of wandering a hallway, Light reached a room a bit bigger then the rest seemed to be. Shelves and shelves were lined up with books that even Light could tell from his distance that they haven't been looked at any time recent. The room was musty with the scent of old books and dust. It was almost nostalgic to him. And he couldn't help but slip a small smirk.
The half-angel would browse along one of the shelves, wondering just what kind of documents were being held here...

a dark figure walked across the bridge towards the cathedral. he looked into the waters below and saw how calm they where. whitefang was hoping to find away to controle Argo in here. whitefang stopped at the doors and looked up and around everything was dark around here "these would be a place where anything could happen" whitefang mumbled to himself

James sees the cathedral across the bridge and sees himself enter the cathedral, this surprises James as he has not seen this type of magic before, he begins walking towards the bridge he is more interested in its Citadel as he seems drawn to it, he walks across the bridge to enter the cathedral and then find a way up to the Citadel, he sees whitefang near the entrance what are you doing here?... Have you seen anything strange...

"well yeah i have ths whole place is strange" whiefang looked and rubbed his hands against the patterns and marks on the door "hmm what are these markings about. looks like something to do with a great creature that is in this place somewhere" whitefang turned to face jame "shouldn't be a problem for us" as whitefang said this his eyes flickered to his demon eye then back again.

Light closed the book he had picked up and browsed through. A light cloud of dust rose from the covers as he closed it. He slipped the book back in it's place and scratched his chin, pondering a moment. So far he had found nothing "special", just a bunch of books that you'd find in any old library such as this. He then turned his head in the direction of where the entrance was. Even through the walls he thought he sensed someone's presence. But even he wasn't quite sure. For all he knew it could have been an animal..
Shrugging Light kept browsing the shelves for something that might clue him in on this cathedral. Surely there were answers somewhere...
[I have a few plot ideas, but they can wait for now. We can start off by finding the answers about Whitefangs demon or whatever? Unless you have another idea. smile ]

whitefang looked back at the door "okay lets go then shall we" whitefang went towards the doors and just managed to push them open they where so big that even whitefang with his great strengh, but he managed to get the open as soon as he got into the place the room morthed to somewhere that whitefang had seen before "wait a minute i have seen this place before. Wait!!" whitefang looked around infact it was a room of whitefangs past which made him who he was and why he was an avenger all of a sudden he heard a scream come from a small house "james lets go someones in trouble" whitefang ran to some random house.
((i am going to us this area to show your darkest fears and the past but only the past you dont want to remeber))
