I HATE it when no one will share a stand with me.
and when the teacher makes me play by myself.
i also hate it when the section yells at me.
and when my friend makes me talk in class when i want to ignore the world.
and last but not least i HATE it when people in band yell at me because sometimes and i do not like being yelled at because without thinking i yell back twice as loud.

I hate it when punks in my section (trumpet) try to take EVERYTHING up an octave, even when they can't. I also hate it when the two people who can take it up do it at inappropiate times in the song.

i just hate it when people put stuff in my band locker and steal stuff from it.also when people purposely play around with my instrument like its a toy scream

...When people can't put away their cases in their lockers when we're playing, and instead leave them on the floor as a hazard.
...When people confuse my concert horn for a tuba and my mello for a trumpet. Not even close, in either case. Seriously, go crawl in a hole and hope I don't get enough time to find you.
...When people talk during the fifteen seconds between songs. Seriously. It can wait.
...When stupid freshmen want to tell me how to play. I can kick your butt playing newbie, and I won't hesitate to do so, you better believe it.
...Having to re-tune. Just, no...
...Freshmen that don't obey orders. I obeyed orders when I was a freshman. You can too.
...Drumline. Don't even need to explain that one.
...Careless guard people. Flag + head = PAIN

Ha ha ha.... in Flute lesson...I was a stand hog...I never shared.. xD *Hides*

When people confuse a Trumpet with a Trombone...(My grandma said my Flute was Violin..o.o)

When my grandma is overprotective when I have to buy slide oil...>_>

Oh I have SOOOOOOO many band pet peeves...

Let's see...

--Never practicing (yes, I'm a bloody hypocrite; you're point is...?)
--Never practicing while saying you do (at least I don't claim to!)
--Never bringing your instrument home...especially if you're a low brass or percussionist (all you need is a mouthpiece/drumsticks cuz you have one at home!!!)
--Random honks (any instrument) while the BD is talking
--Talking while in our twos
--Scale-flubbing (especially F, E flat, and B flat...)
--Messing up rhythms...the day of a performance/concert...
--Low brass reading treble (trumpet whimps...)
--Moldy picolos (ewww....Gigi's picolo! *dun dun dun*...)
--Not being able to march in a straight line (I'm sorry, but halfway through the season and can't march straight, much less turn?...)
--People who don't sacrifice themselves to save their instruments when they fall (me: jabbed in eye by a flute and fell, and I managed to only bend the bell a bit...peeve people: (*coughcoughSerenacoughcough*) fall with entire weight on horn on asphalt, pinching shut the second valve slide, pinching the second valve, mangling the bell, and destroying the tubing along one side OF A SILVER BARITONE!!!)
--Talking loudly while BD is seaking (whispers about band stuff=ok...whispers about non-band stuff=not great, but at least they're quiet...loud about bad stuff=not great, but at least it's band-related...loud about non-band stuff=very painful death)
--Mangled sheet music
--Not bringing in instrument
--Not bringing in instrument and complaining the music is too hard
--Complaining that the music is too hard (there is no such thing as music that is too hard...it's only excrutiatingly difficult at most XD)(you can only complain if you pull your weight and bring your instrument in...kinda like people who chose not to vote don't get to complain about the president (if you can't...then it's another story...))
--Having multiple picolos
--Out of tune-ness (my section hates me because I will badger them to death if they don't adjust so they're in tune...)
--Faking playing
--Not hanging your uniform
--Touching silver horns without gloves (DIE!!!)(actually yelled at a kid for it once, then remembered that it was his personal one...*whistles innocently*)
--People who get away with s**t (I make a point of making sure that the BD knows it when they do s**t to other people/to get other people in trouble (I project my voice REALLY well...then no one can cry or anything because I yelled at them XD)
--People who then try to get me in trouble (&%@#ing fools...)
--Insubordinate rookies (they shall feel my wrath *evil laugh* *lightning* *evil music*)
--Anyone (other than sousas) who complain about how heavy their horn is/how hard it is to hold it up before the baritones do (exception: floutists complaining about a shoulder cramp etc...especially once we start doing flat circle drills >.<)
--People who don't bathe their horns regularly (and they blamed me for the "banditis" (a.k.a. flu) that they got this year after I got a cold!!!)
--Rookies who think they know more/better than vets (officers set me on these rookies, then use that as a threat later)
--Rookies who act like they know more/better than vets and correct them (officers set me on these rookies, then skip the warnings and just set me on them, even when they're almost two feet taller than me (yeah...big macho kid who didn't make the football team, and I shouted him down...the band LOVED that one, especially the officers who had such problematic rookies... XD))
--When I go hoarse because of all of the rookies who need to be shouted down (then, they start rebelling stare )

And this is maybe a third of them...

The only thing that I hate about band is Loosemoore and the saxophone above me. Everyone hates her actually. Well, except the head drummer, they're dating.

That's my pet peeve.
The saxophone above me always gives the teacher attitude and she doesn't even play well. Posture is my pet peeve. She slouches and crosses her legs and doesn't tap her foot to keep the beat. She taps the foot that is over the other leg and taps the air. She's going to lose count! And she leans into the chair. I was trained to sit on the end of your chair like your about to fall off. She really bothers me with posture. I'm trying to help my friend with her posture. But it's a hell of a lot better than the sax above me... My friend just slouches a little but we're getting there.

Everyone except her thinks I should have her place. lol
