Ialo came up coughing, having accidentally swallowed a mouthful of water into his lungs. He shuddered, not liking the sensation of wet fabric on his skin. "What was that... for..." He realized suddenly how close he was to Luna. And she was nude, too. "There's this neat thing about clothes, you know. You can keep them on for longer than three hours." He easily swam back from her, treading into deeper water. She's really cute...

Him being further away calmed her. The color faded from her cheeks and she floated on the water again. "That was for sending a geyser up my a**, genius."
She began swimming in backstroke towards him. "There's a cool thing about going commando, you know." She passed him. "It has a natural feeling about it."

The class Danni had teleported to was one of her favorites, mainly because it was a great way of relieving stress. She absolutely adored the attitude of her self defense and martial arts teacher, Professor Ken Blade. Of course, no one actually called him 'Professor' anything, he was just Blade.

His view was, the best way to learn how to protect yourself was to beat the s**t out of each other for about half an hour, then he'd teach you new moves that you could use a few minutes later, when you returned to beating the s**t out of each other. This way, people were inclined to learn how to protect themselves, and eventually forced themselves to get stronger. And all Blade had to do was make sure nobody killed or seriously wounded someone else. Now who could argue with logic like that?

What Danni also liked about this class was that no one used their powers, merely their own strength and skill with fists and feet. Every now and then, Blade would call the class to attention, and he'd get into what he referred to as 'actual teaching'. He'd use wooden dummies to demonstrate proper defense tactics, and large graphs of the human body to point out the most effective spots to hit. He'd go one on one with volunteers, showing the rest of the class different positions and fighting stances, different tactics that could be used in a regulat fight.

To Danni, the guy was an absolute god, sent to take her mind off the eternally damned Professor Jackson...ugh. So her spirits were already lifting when she met up with the rest of her classmates in the area just behind the school. Today, they'd be learning outside, where walls wouldn't get in the way. She merely raised a brow when Arzol, Gambit, and Dunstall appeared out of nowhere next to her. "Care to be my sparring partner?" She asked Arzol, then added, "Or would you rather pair up with a male. It's a great opportunity to get up close and personal with your preferred gender." She said, and Arzol's eyes flashed.

"I'll be your sparring partner, all right. And I'll enjoy seeing you on the ground at my feet." He said, just as Blade strolled around to where they all were. "Hey everybody. How're my Jackie Chan wannabe's this morning?" He asked, ruffling one student's hair absently as he grinned. But then he spotted the three newcomers, and raised a brow. "Friends of your, Danni?" He asked, and Danni frowned. "Nope. Just a few...newbies. This one's mine." She said, pointing to Arzol, and Blade grinned, wanting to see what she'd do to the new guy. He always enjoyed watching her fight. "Fine by me." He said simply, shrugging his shoulders.

Dymetri raised an eyebrow and turned behind him where a rejected towel was preventing the door from closing fully. "Oh."
He unwrapped the blanket and put it around her again, covering most of her body with it. "You need it more than I do, little one. I'm cold blooded. I'm used to this feeling." He sat next to her and placed a hand around her shoulders and pulled her against him. His hand slid up to her head, softly carressing her wet hair. He turned his face and kissed her on the top of her head. "I'm fully healed anyway, Lin."
After the sentence was spoken, he took a regretful glance at his knee, wondering if it healed. He kicked at the air randomly for his own sake and it responded with a soft click.
No, still damaged.

((Are they sitting on the bed? Lin had been standing when Dymetri came in. lol. But it's ok. smile We'll just say they're sitting on the bed, if that's alright with you.))

She sighed and sat back up so that she wasn't leaning against him. "Dymetri, where did Professor Akakios ((I spelled that wrong, didn't I?)) go? I needed to speak to him about my independent study schedule and make sure he was not angry."

He blinked and smiled. "He's right outside if you need to talk to him, kiddo."

[[Not much of a post, but Eli's not even here anyway, so whatever. I guess I'm done. Lol.]]

She arched an eyebrow at him. "Kiddo? I am 150 years old, Dymetri. And a 'kiddo' would not have been able to save you."

She couldn't hide the smirk on her lips as she stood up. "And a 'kiddo' would not do this."

She rested her hand on his cheek, pushing aside her nerves, and kissed his other cheek softly and slowly.

Then, with one final smile toward Dymetri, she went out to find Professor Akakios. "Professor Akakios?"

"Focus, Jeremy! Don't let your guard down like that!" Blade yelled across the field at a boy who'd currently gotten socked on the jaw due to pure carelessness. He was watching the whole class, but was mostly focused on the fight going on at the very edge of the field. Danni, who'd changed into loose sweat pants and a tank top, had tied her hair back and wa going up against one of the newbies, who'd changed into all black again, sweat pants and a tank top, his pentagram still hanging from his neck.

Right now, they were currently attempting to beat the crap out of each other, but were pretty evenly matched. Still, it was interesting to watch. They were going at each other as though they were out to kill each other, and he strongly suspected that they actually were, or would be if they'd been alone. He whistled in appreciation when a drop kick whistled a mere centimeter from Arzol's head, followed quickly by an uppercut that he barely managed to deflect, catching her fist in his hand and flipping her over his shoulder.

Her back hit the ground with a boom, but she didn't even flinch before planting a kick into his stomach, springing back up onto her feet as he staggered back a step. Their movements were incredibly fast, and eventually the attention of the other students turned to those two as well. Many didn't know more than the basics, and to them this was fascinating. Arzol struck out with his foot, and she crossed her arms in front of her face, as if to block it. But at the last second, she grabbed hold of his ankle, spinning him once in the air before slamming him down on the ground on his stomach and placing a foot on his neck.

"Ok, ok, that's far enough. No more, Danni." Blade said, striding over to them, and Danni shrugged, removing her foot so Arzol could spring up to his feet again, scowling. "I'd have beaten you, Shadow Runner, given a few more seconds." He said, and she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, sure. What?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at the people staring at her and Arzol. They quickly resumed their own sparring matches, and Danni crossed her arms, looking smugly at Arzol, who was practically seething.

Chris sat on his feet eating bacon, and watching the sparing going on. He chuckled as people his the floor. "Wow some people just have no idea how to fight." He then like all the others turned his focus towards Danni and Arzol. "Hope you Didn't break a nail princess" He yelled towards Arzol.

Danni looked over at Chris, grinning as she recognized him. "Don't think he broke a nail, but quite possibly a rib or two. But don't worry, Gambit'll kiss it for him and make it better." She said, earning a chorus of laughter from the other students, and snarls from the three demons. Since Danni's back was to those three, she didn't see when Arzol, pissed and fuming, picked up a rock from the ground and chucked it at the back of her head.

"Hey, watch it!" Blade called out, and Danni turned her head quickly, only to have the rock strike her right betweeen the eyes. As it started to fall to the ground, she caught it even as she fell back a step, clutching at her now bleeding forehead with her free hand. Complaints from the other students came out, and Danni scowled even as Blade approached Arzol.

"Listen here, newbie, we don't fight dirty in this class. Now you'll apologize, or you'll get the boot." He said angrily, but Danni merely pressed her palm over the wound and muttered a quick incantation. Immediately the wound healed, and there was a only a faint red line between her eyes that said anything had happened. "I don't want a damn apology for such a cheap shot." She growled, looking at the rock she'd caught. It was a big frickin' thing, and currently stained on one side with her blood.

"Haven't you learned anything yet, you friggin' gay pansy? It takes a lot more than a rock to kill me. Better luck next time." She said, her eyes flashing. Now she had a damned headache, and Arzol was grinning smugly, though he snarled at the 'gay pansy' comment. "My bad, Shadow Runner. My hand must've slipped." He said, and she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, and snow falls in August..." She muttered, then looked at Blade, who was still looking angrily at Arzol. "Don't worry about it, Blade. He'll control himself from now on. I'll make sure of it." She added the last part in a harsh tone, and Blade looked at her for a moment before he nodded, apparently satisfied for the time being.

Night appeared behind arzol. "Pst that was a cheap shot you know that? Heres another cheap one." Night taped the back of arzol's head and To him it felt like a metal pipe being swung at the back of his head. "Next time I kill you." Before Arzol could turn around Night was gone back with Danni's shadow. "He'll feel that for a while."

Chris got up and pulled a pair of knuckle gloves on, and ran up to Danni "you alright ... umm shadow runner apparently."

Arzol cringed and swore, spinning on his heel to see who had hit him. When he saw no one, he turned back around to glare at Danni, who looked at him innocently. 'Nice one, Night. That'll keep him confused for a while.' She thought, then turned when Chris ran over to her.

"Nah, I'm fine. b*****d throws like a girly girl. And no, it's Danni actually, not Shadow Runner. Don't pay attention to anything the gay cult members call me." She said, shrugging her shoulders. She rubbed her forehead again, felt the faint line her spell had left behind. "s**t, I'm gonna have a headache for hours now. Damn demons..." She muttered, shaking her heads. "I never did catch your name, now that I think about it. Who're you?" She asked Chris, stretching her arms above her head and making sure to keep one eye on Arzol and the others.

"Chris, and by the way it looks he fights like a girly girl." He looked back at arzol. "So they are demons ... that's sad." He took long strides as he walked past students.

"Good lets keep him nice and confused." He chuckled and looked back at arzol. "Hey I like this guy He knows what he's talking about."

Valrie looked up as she had taken her brother with her to the library. A old woman stood before her. She looked very sweet and caring. She, the old lady, sat down next to Valrie. "My granddaughter has died, your mother." This old lady spoke with a strong Latin accent and that caught Valrie attention.

Valrie knew this old lady as her great grandmother. She smiled and then nodded. "Yes."

"I see." Great Grandmother looked at Krish. "I know, you and Krish are in danger, more Krish though. If her is taken now, they could easily make him the way they want." She pointed out the already-knew item. "So, I have come to take him with me, to a place where not vampires can reach. Okay, dear." Valrie nodded remembering how Ella spoke of this woman, as ways kind positive words. The old lady picked up Krish and said. "Give this to your father." She handed Valrie a piece of paper. "It will tell everything and even where to find us." The little girl nodded. "Good-bye." The old woman smiled and Valrie waved good-bye. Then Great Grandma disappeared.

"Ok, Chris. Oh, he does fight like a girly girl. He just acts tough to impress all his homo lovers. What's do sad about being a demon? You get to obey fabulous people like me." She said with a grin, then turned slightly to look at Arzol.

'Yes, yes he does. A nice change from all the braindead people I've been surrounding myself with in the past...' She thought, shrugging her shoulders at him. She'd been making a point of talking as though Arzol and the other two weren't there, and was pleased to see that they weren't taking it well. There was something to be said, she thought, for small pleasures.
