((Star Wars Universe has a lot of potential for really cool rps. But truthfully its a difficult feat because you have to have a great number of people involved and most of them would have to come across as under powered. If all you have is Jedi and Sith, then it would get old fast. That aside, what Star Wars continuity are you going to use. The games tend to throw in a larger pool of abilities and new things arise if you cite from the books. Aside from that ones mind runs to Gendy Tratovinsky's interpretation of the Star Wars universe. Some people claim its blasphemy. Others like myself, deem them better than Lucas' latest trilogy.))

((I'm using a basic amount of normal Jedi skills, form what the most basic Jedi use generally. I'm using a Clone War-era Jedi. I think they have the most potential for better lightsaber skills and I personally think they live in perhaps the most interesting time in the galaxy, save perhaps the Yuuzhan Vong invansion.

And I'm not aware of Tratovinsky's interpretation of the SW universe.

My Jedi is from another galaxy and from a time 46,000 years ago thanks to a faulty hyperdrive. Happened to some guy in the canon universe, in which a two hour trip brought him 200 years into the future. So there is some actual canon level to this.))

((The idea of a grey Jedi seems to be deriving from the books and games more so than the movies. Truthfully I would have to agree with you guys that being towards any one side leaves much to be desired. Who wants to be a goodie two shoes are just a villian all the time. Well actually I love playing villians. Its fun. Morality be damned at times. Just acting on a whim can be quite gratifying.))

((Star Wars canon would have to be the movies, which in truth seems to s**t on itself with the newer ones as technology seems to be more advanced in the past. Then again one could blame that on the waning strength of the force in the original trilogy in comparsion to the Force in its decline in the contemporary trilogy. I should really shut up now as I am far from a expert on Star Wars. I haven't sat through the original trilogy or read any of the books.))

((*has read your profile* You took all the good powers and lightsaber forms! I don't wanna make it look like I simply copied you. xD

Pith: I don't think I can make myself be a 100% villian. D; ))

((Jolee Bindo was perhaps the best example of the grey Jedi, in my opinion and really captures the best qualities of a grey Jedi. I actually enjoy the Potentium view of the Force, that it took no general side of 'light' and 'dark', that Force was always inherently good but those who used it could use the Force for evil.))

((Well there is the dual saber form of Form X: Niman / Jar'Kai. There is also the highly aggresive Form V: Shien / Djem So, the style used by Anakin Skywalker and his other persona Darth Vader.

And I wouldn't care if you copied me or not. Ataru and Shii-Cho were common Jedi lightsaber forms, anyhow.))

((Ooooo, maybe I will be a dual-weilding-pseudo-bad-a**. That like....goes insane...well, not insane, but more like a Sith Marauder. Okay, maybe marauders are insane. >> << >>

((I love playing villians because evil is a relative term. Stating that one is evil or a true villian is too simple. An evil person is generally one who goes against anothers preconcieved notions of what is proper state of affairs. I just enjoy characters who go against the grain. Speaking of different Light Saber forms and different force abilities. Truthfully in the dark about alot of that. One thing I'd like to note is that, isn't the Dark Side physically corrupting one's looks mainly from the Knights of the Old Republic games?))

((Yeah, but then you see how Emperor Palpatine or whatever got all old looking when he OD'd on the force lightening in Episode 3.

If it weren't for that, I would agree with you, though. But KOTOR is where I got the idea of looking physically different.))

((Palpatine could be a potential victim of Dark Side corruption. While some of his disfigurations probably came as a result from burns, the melted face and facial indetations. Others had to come from his long usage of the Dark Side, including his paled skin, raw eyesockets, ect, ect.))

((Palpatine got physically disfigured when Mace Windu reflected the force lightening back. I don't think it had much to do with him over using the force because, after Anakin cleaved off Mace's hand, Palpatine fried him.))

((I think that was all from the burns adn what not. Wouldn't he have already been exhibiting alot of those physical abnormalities prior to that moment then. I would think Count Dooku would be more scarred if that were the case as well. Yes he hadn't succumbed to the Dark side that long, but still.))
