Down in the basement of the school, hidden carefully away from prying fingers and curious eyes, lay a mirror. It was elegant, beautiful, and enchanting--in more ways than one. This mirror, for all its beauty, was dangerous and haunted. Inside it lurked a horrifying secret, an angry spirit who blamed her death on everything and nothing.
The spirit wanted revenge, and she would get it soon. She had been building her power back up slowly, carefully, never attracting unwanted attention to this mirror that resided ever so innocently in the darkest corners of the basement few people even bothered to venture into. Tonight, she swore to herself, today, whenever this was, she would get her revenge. She would come back once again.

Luna touched the mirror. I wonder when this got here... When should I tell Ialo I'm carrying his babies? she thought.

Too bad. Game over--touching the mirror is a no-no, my dear friend... A mad, barbaric laugh seemed to rip from the mirror, swallowing the stupid woman in front of it, absorbing her, and ultimately killing her. Not a single drop of blood was shed, no evidence left behind of the event that killed Luna Wolfe, babies and all.
In the misty smoke that was left from the enormous bout of magic, a woman stood up. The body looked so similar to the woman who had just died, perhaps even the same, but the hair was a full white, and the eyes had turned malicious. The woman's whole demeanor had changed, and soon a laugh came--the same insane laugh as moments before, floating out of this woman's throat.
Luna Wolfe may have died that night, but Setsuka had come back, and she was pissed.

Luna was absorbed into the mirror. "IALO!" she cried-- her cry echoing-- as she disappeared and quickly died inside of the cursed mirror.
Luna Wolfe, herself, existed no longer. Setsuka had taken her place, acting on her own will. The appearance was so very close to the same... Those who saw Luna would be, at first, convinced. But, after staring into those malevolent eyes, they'd soon be aware of the new treachery found within her.
((If you don't get the point, LUNA IS DEAD.))

You know, logically speaking, we should get out of here, the Human pointed out. Zombies! ******** zombies! This is a battle for a grand city, I will not back down! Dragon was roaring at the of his silent lungs. And look at the demon girl! That is power, at her finest! We must make sure she stays on our side, that sort of clout is indispensable! The Darkness said nothing, save think to himself that he had clout as well, and that the demon girl also used dark magic. Therefore, the Dragon and the Human were being hypocrites of a sort, discriminating against him because he was part of Riser. Fools. Riser had plans for this body that far surpassed any of the petty squabbles they would have by themselves.
"A little bit of craziness is good," Ialo replied obliquely. "It conserves my sanity, you know?" It was a little pathetic, how much of a mind wreck he had become in the time Kai was gone, and in the school year so far as a whole. Everything had actually been going very smoothly in his life until about August.
"But sanity can be overrated sometimes. Like now. Or maybe it's the nerd in me, wanting a Jeep and a chainsaw right now."

"Hey, I'd say it's about time we get out of here, huh?"
"Agreed. Start it up, we'll hold the freaks off for now." said Riser. He was as calm as ever, striking out at whatever opponent challenged him at the moment, decimating each and every possible contender. "Ialo, your brother is activating our route out of here, get the wolf under control and keep these things away from him." After saying this, he shot into the air and dug his ethereal limb deep into the pavement, ripping up the entire street and pushing it back to create a wall to stave off their attackers. He proceeded to do this on each street nearby, limiting the flow of enemies to the few that managed to scramble over his defenses.

"Sure, fine..." Ialo agreed. As much as he hated Riser, the god was helping them - and Ialo trusted Zephyr. The irony of that was not lost on him.
".... Damn it, I can't believe I agreed to that." Getting Athena to calm down would be like... no, wait. Under control didn't necessarily mean calm. But before he wasted time mulling it over, he tried the obvious tactic first. "ATHENA!" he bellowed at the demon dog. "OVER HERE, NOW!"

Kai face palmed watching as the streets were lifted up to block the freaks from passing. "Your not supposed to go destroying everything! ... Well I guess since this place is getting destroyed." She reasoned with herself used to trying to avoid damaging anything when she was in the middle of a fight. She regained her composure looking at the destroyed street. "so what's this escape route your talking about?" She sighed flicking her blond hair out of her face.

Upon hearing her name, Athena reacted before thinking. Ears perking instantly, she turned around excitedly, fires disappearing, and leaped over the whole few meters to where she'd heard the voice--Ialo was the one who'd called her right? Before she realized what she was doing, her tongue snuck out and she delivered a sloppy dog lick/kiss to the Headmaster. Hey, it had 'master', right? Weren't all dogs, like, required to like their masters?

Before Ialo could react (he honestly did not expect Athena to respond right away), she had bounded over and LICKED him. Getting licked by a huge demon dog is... is disgusting, frankly. He could have sworn he was actually lifted off the ground, but he couldn't tell. He had his eyes squeezed shut to protect them from copious amounts of demonic drool - and he thought that maybe his hair had been styled into a permanently new position.
".... Sit, Athena," he choked out.

Sighing as only a dog can manage, and then briefly hoping she didn't have dog-breath or something, Athena sat. "...Sorry," she said, the word sounding weird coming from a mouth unadapted for speaking. "I have less control on Earth. I act like big dog." She didn't like speaking in this form when she was on Earth. In Hell it was fine, because the magic that almost created a haze in the air enabled it freely, but on Earth it was very difficult.

Kai blinked, her eye color going from green to pink. "Ohhhh Ialo are you hurt?" She squeaked Immediately running over to him grabbing him in a loving embrace. the demonic dog drool not deterring her for a moment. "Oh your so..."
She blinked again and her eyes changed back to green. She looked at Ialo then down at herself. She let go of Ialo quickly Brushing the robes off "DAMN IT! ... sorry about that my angelic form ... *Ahem!* ... has a crush on you Ialo." She grumbled grabbing her forehead. "She gets more control of my personality the longer I'm in this form."

Regulus Sadalsuud In spite of their slow pace, it didn't take them long to reach the lake. Or so it felt. Masaki wasn't quite grasping the passage of time, some he deduced they must have been quick. By the lake, with water reaching his heels Masaki took in the scenery and inhaled deeply. "This will... Take a while. Please hold back anything that may attack." Masaki told the demon dog. His attitude and voice were much more sombre that they had previously been, his face wasn't quite a slothful mask of bliss. Not any more. With an impassive face, the young man clapped his hands together in respect and bowed. During the act, which had been directed at the large body of water, he thanked for the meal. He knelt and pressed against the lake's surface with his hands. Then, after closing his eyes, he remained perfectly immobile. "I will need two hours. Be ready." Was the only thing he said. The elemental lord was, very, very slowly heating the lake. Specifically, he was using himself as a medium -a lens of sorts-, to transfer the heat his body was collecting into the lake's water. There was no spell, no magic, no trick to it. An elemental lord doesn't work like that. It would be more appropriate to say that they tell nature how to act. So, he was telling the lake to become hotter. It was a slow, painstaking process but at an imperceptible rate, the lake's water was gathering heat from the surroundings and generating it's own, working as a heat sink. Adolf did so, guarding the lake happily. He wasn't really sure what this Masaki kid was doing, but it seemed to have a relation to food and probably soup, so he was plenty fine with that. Besides, not many people would want to bother a protective full yokai.
