*doo do doo* STILL ALIVE!
Hey guys, just dropping in. Haven't gotten a lot of time on the interwebspacenetwork, and what little I do is spent looking for pr0n and webcomics, in that order, but not quite for the purposes you might think. It's all very inspirational.
Speaking of inspiration, I came to Christ a while back, and some pretty wild, wonderful stuff is going on. LughsMondKind, if you want, I'll include you in my prayers--though I'd prefer an actual name. Mine's Andrew, which you may have gathered from the signature, then again, who's looking there!
Muse, I'm thrilled that you're moving forward in your life, and Can-baby, Elv, I miss you guys like crazy, your wit and humor in particular. Nick, Cari, I think about you often and wish you well. I love you all,

*sighs* we're remodeling our upstairs.... about 15k worth of work... I have school and it's inventory month at work. joyous freaking fun...

and it's nice to hear that everyone is still alive... mmm... other than Lion not posting in months, but i have talked with him recently, he's trying to get back on his feet, the job he had kinda went head over heels, but yeah... anywho...

I too am still alive. At least as far as I can tell--I totally jumped the last three steps yesterday (it was pretty badass) so I MAY be in a coma and not know it.
For a while I thought I was gonna have to transfer to a campus in a different city, which would have sucked. After two years of living in St. Pete I know where all the stores are, I know the best places to eat and I know where all the homeless people hang out (they get mean when they're in groups).
Seriously. My friend's church and I were going to do this "Feed the Homeless" thing so the other night we went out hand out information sheets, and this one guy started screaming at us, calling us racists and stuff. Followed us for three blocks. And then the other day when I was walking to the store:
Homeless Guy: Hey Miss, you got any change?
Me: No, sorry. (truth)
HG: You got any bills then, like ones or something?
Me: No, I don't carry money, sorry.
HG: Oh, you got change.
Me: Um...
HG: I know you got change! *Gets up*
Me: *walkingveryveryfast*
It's all cool now though. We did the food thing, everyone was happy. Yay, karma! I'm ready to win the lottery now! That's how it works, see. I'm kind of an expert, I watch My Name is Earl like all the time. I also saw an episode of E.R. once, so I'm good to have around in case of emergency.

Arrow; I don't know about My Name is Earl, because frankly, that show has never interested me in any way, but I have been watching E.R. since it started, when I was five. In fact, I've seen almost every single episode for fifteen years, and I watch reruns. I also saw THE LAST EPISODE last night. E.R. is one of my all-time favorite shows, and they don't make TV like that anymore. So now I have to find a way to get every season on DVD without spending a total fortune. XD
But yeah, given how much E.R. I've seen, I'd probably be really great to have around in case of emergencies.
More particularly, I've been Dr. Candice to myself for some number of years. I intensely dislike hospitals, and with the exception of going and getting my tetanus shot last August (as I was forced to by my ex), I hadn't been to a real hospital since before we moved to Barrie, when I was seven and a half. For myself, anyhow. I had been once when I was fifteen to bring clothing to my friend Leah who'd had a miscarriage.
And its not that I dislike doctors, because I have no problem with them. Its the fact that a hospital is a brewing pot for germs and diseases, and I would rather sit in a clinic with a filter over my face than attempt to sit in the emerg waiting room with people who are coughing, hacking, PV-ing, an so on.

So... Its like quarter after eight, and I just got home.
Some jackass stole my coworker and friend's dog last night. Can you believe it? We got off work, and I didn't want her to be alone, right? Cause the guy was threatening her life, and he has a key to the place cause he lived there for like a month. But he's not on the lease, and he's a drug addict, and a known felon, and they were telling him he had to move out because the landlord didn't want him there. The guy flipped out, and when she was calling the cops, he walked out with her little pug!
So we spent most of the day after lunch (we were at work, but we got off early) looking for her dog downtown. We also went to her place, drank tea, and played a nice game of boggle. I think it helped her stay calm, having a friend there to help her. But yeah, I just didn't think she should be alone after something like that.
Drew, if you get on before I call, I'll be calling in about half an hour or so. I need to just, you know, relax a bit first.

any who... we went to a bar for her friend's b-day party, then went to my house, watched my brothers and my one brother's girlfriend get drunk off their a**...
seriously,
one of them fell down the stairs, the other made it down the stairs alright, but had to crawl up them to get back to the kitchen
we're having our upstairs bathroom remodeled and there's no toilet in their right now, so they had to go downstairs to pee...
lols, my brother and his girlfriend could barely keep a conversation, they kept forgetting what they were talking about and got EASILY distracted...

You mean zinfandel? Heh, my dad's a wine geek--I probably will be too.
I remember mine and Billy's first kiss. It was after our first date, and I was feelin' reckless so I said, "What the hell," and kissed him real quick. He said, "That's not how you kiss. You have to do it for longer." And then he wrapped his arms around my waist real tight (which I hate) and mashed his mouth on mine for about ten seconds. It was awful. Never kissed him for longer than a second after that.
I don't know. My mom keeps saying, "Once you find the right guy it won't be so bad," but it just sounds gross to me.
I am so dying alone. emo
