Cat made a frown. "The book never mentioned the Donavans...what happened between the tow families?" She asked, giving an almost sympathetic look to Vince. Then she looked at Seth. He looked hostile. What had happened? She knew this boy was somehow involved with Victor...right? "Wait. YOU'RE the demon? This isn't making sence."

"there was a rule.....the two families could never turn on each other.....but my foolish brother killed esme's mother and cuased this chaos!my family paid the price...they were wiped out and the alters were scattered.....I was only a baby when this happened and my mom had given me to a human....the demon elders foud me and cursed me creating victor..and the book never mentione dit becuase you were looking in the wrong spot."he pulled out a black key and toke the book and wrote donovan ont he cover."read it.....it should tell you about my family tree now."

Cat took the book, trying to find the family tree. She was confused. "How did this all happen in the first place? The thing between the Atlers and the Donavans that is." She handed the book to Seth. "I can't find it."

Cat took the book. "Thanks. I'll look this over Vince." She led him out the door. "See you soon." She closed the door behind him, sighing. She inspected the book. "Why wouldn't the Atler book mention the Donavans if they were such good friends? It doesn't add up..." She mummbled flipping through the book.

"I don't think so..." Cat grabbed the Atler book off the counter. "They're in the same type, size, shape..." She flipped through them at the same time. "Same index, or order of things...Wait!" She found a picture of what seemed to be Vince in Nobel's clothing, on the oppositie side that the one identical to Eseme's was. She ripped out the pictures, closing the books. Cat placed the two pictures on the table next to eachother. They were from the same painting. "The Donovans must have been a demonic family. This is how the half breed came about. These two." She said pointing to them. "I'm going to need a drink..."
