Trickster Loki Laufeyson They made Goku white. Brrrrr. It just feels so blatantly calculated in a cast otherwise dominated by "ethnic" actors. Like that damn movie with Shia LeBoeuf, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li. Or Bulletproof Monk. I really do not think that the American moviegoing audience is that ******** xenophobic. It was Michael Angarano, not Shia. The "heavy lifting" martial arts was still done by Jet and Jackie, whereas the kid basically got outclassed most of the time. He could beat up mooks, but any of the named characters laid him out. And the movie itself was still pretty good.
Now, the Avatar casting is pretty whitewashed. I can understand Zuko being white (it'd be better if he was Japanese), but Sokka and Katara are Inuit/Eskimo and Aang is Chinese. Not sparkly vampires and Texans.

I thought the whole point of The Forbidden Kingdom kid being a white nerdy kung fu movie freak was so it would be very fish of water.

Chris Powell I thought the whole point of The Forbidden Kingdom kid being a white nerdy kung fu movie freak was so it would be very fish of water. Yep. Great movie. One of the better ones from last year. Actually, it's probably in my top 3 favorites from '08. 1. Kung-Fu Panda2. The Forbidden Kingdom3. Hellboy II: The Golden Army

There is a game coming out next year called Batman:Arkham Asylum.
Why you should be excited:
The story is written by Paul Dini. Kevin Conroy voices Batman. Mark Hamill voices The Joker. Gameplay will not only focus on combat but also on detective work.
For PS3, XBOX 360, and PC.

It's also not tied to any movie. It's always nice to have comic-related games that have noting to do with movies.

Ah, I remember WormyT. His fake Spider-Man 3 and TDK trailers, in the form of GIFs, were pretty awesome.

Saw two movies this weekend. On friday, saw the Spirt, I enjoyed it, but critics don't seem to feel the same way. Samule L. Jackson was a riot as the Octopuse. Now it's not as great as Sin City, 300, or Dark Night, but it was still a good film.
The second movie I saw was Seven Pounds with Will Smith. I have mix feeling about. Like it was good, even though I don't normaly watch sad films, but i figured out the end of the movie and all about half way though it, but it went on pretty long. about 2:30 hrs. and i was ready for it to end about 1:45 or so.

UGH I got World of Warcraft again. I'm back on the crack.
So, anybody rockin' the Horde on the Archimonde or Thunderlord servers should whisper at Wyra or Merlynne.
