Ialo was exasperated, to say the least. "Yeah, I know!" He looked around him, safe for a split second and seemingly calmer, although his eyes were still red. "It's like they have Ebo -"
Suddenly, he realized was he was saying and inhaled, biting his lower lip as he focused on not looking right at Riser.
".... Really. I mean, really. I never see this coming."

Kai jumped far back landing next to Ialo with a Soft tap. "I'm confused now what are we talking about?" She asked blinking towards Athena, X, then riser. "What made these things and why did it make you stop mid sentence?"
She twirled the cleaves in her hands, dropped them mid spin and let the golden chains attached to the handles twirl them in a Giant circle.

((I return! With my internet now virus-free, my nose un-broken, and my Trig grade passing (kinda)!!!!! Huzzah!))
Satan was not pleased. That was the gist of the message that had been sent from demon to demon throughout the lands and realms, traveling from ear to ear. Word was he was offering immediate rise in status to anyone who could bring him the infamous Shadow Runner, alive and intact. That was a huge incentive for anyone, especially low-level minions who'd been forced to do good ol' Shadow's bidding a time or two.
Word also said that he'd gotten fed up waiting for his Hell's Guard members to grab her from the Ancients, so he was making it a free for all. Within minutes of his announcement, said while he feasted off the blood of a demon who'd had the misfortune of having a very vague resemblence to Danni, demons everywhere had begun to mobilize, searching the globe for the one they'd once obeyed.
Of course, the Ancients got wind of this message themselves, and Salem could be heard cursing imaginatively in several different languages, since his human form always brought such strong emotions closer to the surface, while when in spirit form he was practically unshakable.
To his way of thinking, there was only one choice. They could no longer continue to protect Danni this way, in their human forms where they had limited power. They needed to regain their spirit forms and take control once more while there was still time. But that meant he needed someone to look out for the little warrior.
As soon as the thought came, a solution, so simple really, came with it. Where was the one place on the earth no one would look for the girl? Why, the place she'd disappeared from. That was the answer. They would hide her in Mystic Fountain. Hadn't people from there, good people, been bugging him to return the girl anyway? So he would-with certain conditions. She would still regain her memories one at a time, but it would have to be faster now. He'd have to have someone-the brother, most likely, stay by her side to make sure she didn't have any sort of relapse. But other than that...well, they didn't have many other options.

((So THAT'S where you've been! Glad to have you back - and you came back in time for something good!))
Ialo anxiously ran his hand through his hair. "Bola-bola," he answered Kai. "If I'm correct, which I'd like to think I am, for once."
For a moment, he was in awe of the little group that had amassed here. Kai was right, Athena was really quite a force. She could certainly hold her own in a crisis. There was, of course, Riser, and Kai, and of all things Zephyr was here too - and X, whoever he was. Ialo had a feeling that once everyone's lives were no longer in immediate danger, he would want to stay away from X for a while.

"Bola ... Bola?" Kai tilted her neck to the side like a curious puppy before straightening up and lobbing a zombies head off that got to close to the clearing they were standing in. "forgive my ignorance but umm, What?" She sighed returning to twirling the cleaves on with the chains the gentle golden glow following after the cleave's path.
X sighed as the last of his shells ran dry. "damn it, I've been fighting for days now I'm out of shells." He grumbled tossing the shotgun into the air catching it by the barrel and using it as a mace to fend of the freaks.

((Boom won't be online for a while))
Ialo watched Kai decapitate a zombie, and turned a faint shade of green and looked away. It wasn't so much the body parts flying through the air and the gruesome entirety of the scene, as it was the thought of Bole-Bola. Looking over at X pounding away didn't help much either.
"I don't know how to be gentle about this, but, uh..." During the pause, Ialo focused on a nearby powerline, and it severed itself and fell, destroying many zombies with its high voltage. "He was one of the Big Five."

"... the big five ... oh yeah I remember them. Altho I can't say I'm not confused, I thought they were wiped out along with that creepy little girl that almost killed me." She sighed flicking her Hair to the side looking at the freaks numbers slowly thin out. She looked up noticing how dead it truly was, aside from the zombies nothing else was moving other then them.

"We're going to hide her inside Mystic Fountain." Eldest made the announcement as soon as he came down the stairs in their Australian home.
He got several stares, several less than pleased looks. "You lose a few too many brain cells in teleport, Eldest?" Eli asked, the deep voice growling out of the dog's mouth.
It was then that Eldest explained his plan. "So you see, the one place no one would ever look would be the place she disappeared from in the first place. And as far as anyone else there knows, Isadora Rinaldi is dead and buried. No one will ever be the wiser until we want them to be." He said, and Ambrose pursed his lips, looking towards the stairs, where the sister he'd buried hours ago sat in her room reading the fairy tales Eldest had given her.
"Yeah, dead and buried. I should know, seeing as I buried her, as did my father, and Cook. It tore them to pieces, putting her in the ground. And all because she was in Australia without a memory, living a lie. Do you enjoy messing with humans, or is it just a hobby?" He asked evenly, and Edmund sighed, sitting on the couch beside him.
"We did what was necessary to keep her soul alive, if not her body. If Satan got even a hint that someone knew of her soul's location, he'd have them tortured mercilessly for the information. So it was better that no one know. Not even her family." He said, and Ambrose fell into a brooding silence, watching the seconds tick by on the clock.

The silence of the city (aside from the immediate tangle) was not lost on Ialo. He thought it depressing, that such a bustling city, a center of worldwide commerce, had succumbed to this sort of thing. The Swiss army though, was world-renowned (and not for their knives) for disaster relief. Ialo knew there were many magic users in the Army though. Hopefully... Well, hopefully, and he very much wanted to be able to entertain this thought, that some people had made it out safe and sound.
The truth was though, that the city was decimated. These people were too ill to be saved, to even be considered alive. It was best, Ialo realized, that they be put out of their misery, that this horrid disease stopped before it could spread.
"Never underestimate your enemy," Ialo said bitterly. "If he wasn't destroyed, then we can assume that others are still alive somewhere too."
You shouldn't underestimate yourself, either.

"I never said they'll be weak ..." She sighed walking away as the last few zombies crept out of the shadows to join the fray. "We gotta get going soon these things will be clear in this area and we can get on our way." She shrugged casually strolling towards the zombies.
It was funny how alike the two worlds were, some areas of the plains looked exactly like this city although there were some survivors adamantly fighting off hordes or creatures similar to these. Most with battle axes, Guns, even some who used their bare fists. Children lived in a state of fear most of their childhood not daring to cry out or laugh for fear of being killed. the silverwings assisted these zones as best they could but the zombie's numbers never seemed to drop.

Suddenly, with the moon now the only source of light and the sun gone from the horizon, Athena let out a terrifying scream that morphed into something new, something different and fearsome. Her body followed, growing and changing even as she danced, and soon the humanoid girl was replaced by a twenty-foot tall canine whose black fur had red and purple markings of an unknown significance. Her eyes glowed, as did the markings, and she howled.

Ialo never really responded to Kai, because he was so entranced with Athena's sudden transformation. The girl's canine form was stunning to say the least. It was powerful. Ialo loved power, that love was what usually got him into messes. He could use Athena, he realized, as he slowly turned back to Kai. For what exactly he wasn't quite sure, but big plans were forming in his head before he was even aware.
".... Wait," he told Kai. "I want to see what she does."

As Athena howled, fire began to dance around her, encircling her, its movements strong. The fire turned white, blue, hot and burning brightly. Sweeping around, Athena growled fiercely at the zombies, and pounced, sending the white-blue fires into them, destroying them, obliterating them with ease. The power of the full moon coursed within her blood, and the light from it, the stars, and her fire, was almost as bright as the light of day.
