Perhaps Zanna had let herself get a little too confident in herself, as she suddenly felt like she was doing something she should not be. She heard a murmur in her ear, and it made her paranoid, whipping her head around in an attempt to find it.
It was then she felt it.
There was anger flooding her that she could not understand, beating against her and screaming that she should not be here, she should go away, and she was violating something sacred by even setting her feet in these grounds. The sense frightened her, and made Zanna wanted to turn around and leave. Perhaps she should?
But she was so far in already, she needed to carry on for the sake of the course and to get through and -- the screaming was too much! What was it saying? Zanna lifted her shoulders, attempting to block the voice from her ears with no success, plummeting downwards in the process.
It left her, though, and she remained in the air even still, no matter how far she had managed to descend.
She had made it to the edge.

Where would she go from here? This did not seem like a place she would want to tread, the world ending here and seeming to disappear into an abyss she could not see.
But ahead, what she saw was enough to spur her on. There were islands. And even more than the islands, Zanna saw what would make the Goddesses proud--a place where she could receive more blessings, so she may shine and eventually become one of the Goddesses herself, sitting at their side and helping the world in the best way she possibly could.
And so, the blue-hearted woman advanced, thrown off by the sensation of the wind rocking her in one direction. Well used to this by now, however, she managed to get herself righted, continuing forward towards the island that glowed. She would get herself there, and do as the Goddesses wished of one of their Candidates.

The flight was much rougher here, and it was making Zanna nervous, what with the way it was rocking her flight back and forth, and weighing heavily down on her, almost as if it wanted her to sink into the abyss beyond what her eyes could see, down where the water fell.
But she refused to have any of it.
Zanna would not disappoint the goddesses. It was her job to do as they wished, and that burst of determination was enough to get her just a bit closer.

With every inch, it felt like it weighed heavier on Zanna, but she would not give up. The cold air was hitting up at her, making her shiver, which was somewhat rocking her flight, but she was determined not to let that deter her. She would succeed at this course, and get to the blessing she so desperately needed.

Zanna felt herself approach the glowing island, and finally, after what felt like an eternity of letting her body get rocked back and forth by the glider she rode on, she found herself there. The landing was shaky--she would blame that much on the fact that she was tired from the flight, but it didn't matter. She had done exactly what she was supposed to do, and the glow of the blessings radiating was enough to warm her to the core.
She knew what she wanted to do.
The blue-hearted advanced to the shrine, noting the avian symbols and other oddities around that she could not, personally, identify. While she stored them in her mind, she did not focus on them, deciding to pursue the blessings instead.
When she selected one, it warmed her... and the area around her.
When she opened her eyes, she found herself back on the cliff, blessed by the goddess.
