Malcolm took a quick glance at Megan before staring back at this Andy guy. He wasn't too sure how he felt about him, but he'd give things a try. This was going to be especially hard for the boy, considering that he still had absolutely no clue what he could do, besides some sort of freaky insect-mind control. He really didn't want to start the next plague or anything, and besides...how could insects even get into this building when all the exits and windows were closed off?
Clenching and opening his fists a few times, Malcolm squared his shoulders and closed his eyes, trying to block out the excess noise around him. It seemed that everytime he thought of an insect coming towards him, he would open his eyes and there it would be. Hopefully it would work this time as it had been with Dion.
His favorite insects of all were bees of any sort, so he pictured a flower garden in his head, filled with bumblebees and wasps. He imagined himself standing in the center of this garden, yelling at the top of his lungs for attention. The stingers all perked up and seemed to notice him, and starting forming a mob around him.
Thinking this had to be good enough, Malcolm pried his eyes open and, much to his dismay, there was nothing buzzing before or around him. Evidently just thinking about the act wasn't enough. There must be something more envolved...and then at that moment, his glance headed towards that boy Raleigh, sending a surge of anger up his spine. ( twisted )

Indeed Rachel looked very unhappy. She looked up at Thomas as he explained what would be happening. She realised she would have to try her best, because she would evetually be the one to be protecting everyone. Her face was set in a grim expression as he continued on. And as he vanished, she gasped. Her eyes widened as she felt his hand on her shoulder. People could get this fast? She swivelled around. She hadn't seen him move. At all!

She turned around again as he vanished, trying to catch his movement. But it was no good. Her eyes were wide as he told them to attack her. Attack him? She wouldn't stand a chance. But then again, she had to start somewhere. And at least he wouldn't kill her... right?

Ho boy. She let out a sigh and closed her eyes to concentrate. It took her much shorter this time as she opened them again and watched the golden beams of light flow through Thomas.. no... Flashcharge. She didn't glance sideways, but she could feel Raleigh's presence.

She held back a groan as she pushed off and ran forwards. Hah, he was smirking! She would show him! Or not, but she could try. Keeping in mind her fighting lessons, she kept her wrist and hand in a straight line as she swung her arm to punch him.

Megan had tried to blush away from Andy, but in a moment but she found herself unwillingly grinning at him, and at the flower-formation he'd created. So, SO cool! Andy had to have the coolest power ever, 'cause he was always making really fun things! And it wasn't dangerous 'less a person made a bad mistake like she had earlier with it. But even then Andy made it better. She refused to think of him as a superhero, though. She hated superheroes.

She hesitated at Andy's words, and looked to Malcolm to make the first move. Attack? How? She didn't even know what she did, really, or how, and everytime she did, things got all wrong. She side-stepped away from the other boy as he concentrated, but ended up jumping near him again after she'd looked over to the rest of the room and saw some of what was going on.

"I don't think we can do this." Megan mumbled lowly at Andy.

Flashcharge smiled at the two kids. "That's right. I want you two to show me what you've got. You have full permission to attack me now." his gaze followed Raleigh's arm, waiting to see what he did. He was surprised to see the girl rushing forwards and attempting to punch him.

He didn't even bother to dodge, just lifted his arm to catch her punch and twisted her arm in such a way that she completely lost her balance and fell onto the ground. "Nice try there, but you will definitly need to work on your speed and strength if you're thinking about using hand to hand combat on someone much more advanced than you." He crouched down next to Rachel and gave her a pat on the head. "In your case, in which physical contact is needed, you might want to wait for your partner to destract the target so you can sneak up on them."

He glanced at Raleigh again. "Well? I am waiting..." he smirked.

Malcolm looked at Andy like he was nuts, wondering if Megan was thinking the same thing. It seemed that anger was the only thing to really flare him up, but he didn't want to have to be angry all the time. He looked away from Rachel and Raleigh and stared at the floor, realizing that there was no way he could do anything inside. He figured that he could work on defense now, then, since he was useless anyhow.
Dodging the small ball of light that flinged past his head, Malcolm looked back up at his instructor, or whatever Andy might be, and asked, "All right...so...defense how? Like, want me to throw a punch?" He could do that very well, after all, he thought, laughing to himself.
What was Megan's power anyhow? Mimicry was what the boy recalled, so unless he figured out how to do something, she was stuck with defense too. Well, this royally sucked. x3

Erol blinked stomping his foot in irritation. Well he had expected her to be strong; it only served to egg him on as she instructed him to try again. Erol was vaguely aware that Lorina had shrunk. Well that was nice of her, he didn't know exactly where she was but wasn't about to unleash another attack and risk hitting her in the process.

At seeing the smoke billow about, he did however get a plan. As she was now there was no way to penetrate her armor. He had to somehow distort her concentration and then her armor would loosen or come off completely. He knew he wasn't strong enough to remove her armor completely but maybe he could center an attack that would leave her a bit dizzy.

First he concentrated his powers at her feet, using his energy vibrations to shake up the ground and hopefully move her about. He then sent another burst of solid energy at her which slammed similar to the first causing smoke to rise up. This was were he decided to try something with less force. Sending another burst of energy it was softer more dense useful for traveling through objects rather then slamming into them. His emotions more calm and refined though he couldn't seem to shake the nauseous feeling that claimed his body after letting that burst free. He wobbled slightly then fell to one knee watching as the burst seemed to dance animatedly toward his target. It made him even more dizzy watching it. "I'm gonna be sick." He muttered squinting one eye closed while clutching at his stomach.

Lorina didn't see whether or not Erol's attack had hit the lady, but she believed that because she was speaking, and not moaning, she doubt Erol's shockwaves ahd done anything. As the dust started up, she smiled, noting her break away.She was about the size of a small book as rushed foreward, arms waving back and forth, to keep balance.. Bouncing around, in a zig-zag like pattern, she entered the smoke. Coughing, which sounded really squeaky, she tried to find where Darebone was.

Erol's first attack was both a good thing, and a bad thing for her. Remembering something from some lessons on fire, she dropped to the groud, crawling along. She felt Erol's second attack, brushing over head, and heard his mutterings. A smiled came to her face, if the wave had flown over her than the woman had to be behind her. Crawling even faster, she brushed by the woman shoe, and waited behind her, for her turn, incase she repelled Erol's shockwaves again.

Rachel gritted her teeth in frustration and looked angry at Flashcharge as he patted her head. She smirked slightly, as her power was still activated and reached up to put a hand on Flashcharge his cheek. She closed her eyes and started the familiar pull of life. Not with the intention to kill him, but to drain him enough for him to fall unconscious or just be really tired so Raleigh could do something. Her breathing was becoming quite hard as she focused intently.
