Gomen...I''ve been stuck in my hometown for the past week. There''s virtually no internet access anywhere! That and being dragged around by family members like some tug-of-war rope...I am pretty exhausted. Luckily I found this one wireless network that I can get *just* enough signal strength from if I tilt it up while sitting at the cornermost part of my bed, so that I can get online.
I am so sorry for not being around the IPG lately. But I will be online more when school starts and the labs on campus become more available.
I will do my best to be online as much as I can.
I hope everyone is understanding about this....especially since I have to deal with my ....."mother" again.....*shudders*

Wow. Everyone seems to be having problems with their internet recently. *feels left out, because her internet has been working fine* But it's not that bad.
Anyways, could I delete all the posts in the announcement/rules thread that don't actually have anything to do with announcements or rules? That way it woul be easier for people to see when there's a new announcement. 3nodding
I just realized, I can probably just stop asking about this and actually do it. Well, whatever. I'll probably figure that out enough to actually act accordingly at some point.

I'm back boys and girls crying I miss Montreal already. I'm terribly tired and whiny too thanks to the long shitty bus ride that lasted 14 hours. Tomorrow is the Rolling Stones concert so don't expect full activity from me till sunday. I'll try and get some threads on my laptop when I get the time this evening.

I'd like to make a thread/temporary home for the IPG in the Guild Forum, but i want the go-ahead from the other mods first.

I'm going to just deny some of the people who have been on the list for over a week and haven't given an essay, or those who gave an essay which was deleted with the reorganization of the stickies, but we're still on the nay end, if it's okay with everyone.
And, also, might we want to start documenting when people request to join so we can keep track of when to refuse them?

Good Idea. I think we should. Way too many people on the request list.

I guess we mods will just have to unlock this topic to post, and relock it again once we're done. Or just trust the other members not to post. At least we can delete threads now.
But, anyways, can we make Yuko's journal a record of guild happenings, and which members have offenses against them and how many? I don't have Yuko's info, so I can't do that, so yah, and stuff.

I have an idea that the people in the guild could be divided into another level beyond what they are now. Like, the mods have mod privileges and Yuko's info, and then there could be a level of people below them that have been deemed trustworthy, so have Yuko privileges. What do people think of this?

Just a little note for the mods, since I really just realized this by default.
To delete threads, you go to the little arrow beside the "lock" option, and click that. It's the thing that was previously the "move" option, but it deletes threads.
Also, I think a bit many people are getting intimidated away by the word "essay". Maybe we should change it to "post stating and supporting your opinion on the chosen matter."
