Soquili A splended unicorn came out from behind the kalona and dipped its horn into Mesarthim's wound. The magic healed a little bit but the evil was too great for a complete recovery. Mesarthim opened her eyes and attempted to get up but she was too weak.
"What happened?" she asked Glamrock. Glamrock gave the mare a reassuring smile though she was disheartened that her magic didn't help as well as she ahd hoped. She knew the injured mare needed support though and a lot of optimism. "I was kind of hoping you could answer that question. It seems you were attacked during the night and many have come to gather to figure out just what had happened. Take comfort in that and try to rest. You need to conserve all the energy you can."
Glamrock felt uneasy. Something terrible happened last night and it scared her to not know who or what it was. Even the Kalona knew to stay away from the Kawani village. The two-leggers took great care of the races and animals in the area so who would dare harm them or other soquili in such a way? And a wound that did not heal.. that scared Glamrock most of all. It was unnatural.

Tawadi saw the old man in the distance with the coyote pelt around his shoulders. Had he indeed killed the creature?
"My people.. this warrior ought to be commended for killing the coyote who ravaged our village. Look at the giant skin around his body.. surely this was the creature. Maybe I misunderstood when I saw the hoof print.. Soquilis walk all around this village."
He reached out respectfully to the old man. "Brother, please join me by the fire to eat the food the villagers brought you. Tell me the story of how you killed the beast. I see your hands and face have been injured. Was it a worthy fight?" he called out loudly hoping the old man would hear.

Krouw moaned, and instantly ran to Mia. "Mia! Oh, I'm sorry.. I was out.. trying to fish.." She grinned, despite the horror the village was in, and indicated to a sharpened stick she was carrying. "Whats happening? Oh.." The young girl brushed back her raven black hair, and looked at the man that sat infront of Mia. "Who's this..? Instantly she cringed, and looked away, ashamed at the man's nudeness.

Aruna nuzzled Astia back. "I know, love, I know. The smell is horrible, but try to ignore it. Something has happened... many believe that a Soquili has done this destruction." She eyed all the others carefully. "I doubt the Kalona have done this; if they had, the attack would have been more organized. Calamity, however, I doubt was a part of this... if it were the Kalona. But looking over at that red stallion there, I doubt they have."
Miakoda patted Saika gently. "Wait here, Saika, I want to speak with the Chief." She looked around, and spotted him, speaking to some Soquili. "Chief Tawali!" She said, approached respectfully with a bowed head. "Our Soquili are here to protect us... but I was wondering, perhaps...?" She wanted a word with him, about that old Indian man who had suddenly appeared.

She entered the village and looked around quickly, seeing and smelling the distruction of the place. It all brought back frightening memories of her own village, tears slowly streaming down her cheeks. She couldn't move, the images flashing before her. "The Gods bring their wrath where I tread! Forgive me, please." She felt like crumbling to the ground until she saw Ever in the distance, standing near a Kalona. Her dear friend look angry and ready to push for answers. "Ever! Don't," she shouted, running quickly to stand before the mare and Rötschreck. The mare was about to slam her hoof down to get his attention when the words of Princess Soquili came to her perked up ears. She flattened them, glancing between the Kalona, the two-legger, and the Unicorn that had attempted to heal the fallen mare. She was about to open her mouth further when her own two-legger flung herself between Rötschreck and herself.
Her icy blue eyes looked down at her and then back up at him. She snorted and nuzzled Evening on the cheek with her nose. "I apologize for accusing you, bat-winged one," she said to Rötschreck. "It was not my place to judge one without seeing the action done itself." She was very uneasy around this Kalona and kept her eyes narrowed as she spoke. (( Used the wrong RP color for Ever. xP Not rosybrown, seagreen. ))

Jeevita stood a few feet away from the rest. Watching carefully at the new human. He was strange. Why did he have a coyote on his back. What was he hiding? Something wasn't right. Either it was him, or something closely near the group. She had a bad feeling. She wish she could do something.
Alsoomse watched as the people gathered around the newcomer. She smiled. He seemed pretty nice. They should try to help him get better stuff and some food. She tugged on Jeevita's hair trying to get her to move closer to the new fellow. Pulling out an apple, she tugged on Jeevita again. "Please, I'd like to give him some food" She said sweetly to Jeevita.
Jeevita didn't move at first. The another sharp tug on her mane and she started to move towards the new one. Making her way through the people. It wasn't safe to do so, but she figured if she was there it'd be fine. Jevita could jump with no problem if she though there was going to be a problem.
Alsoomse held out the apple to the old man as the were close enough. She had to look down at him because she was on top of Jeevita. "Please, sir. Take it." She said in a kind child voice holding the apple at his face.

Nagual didn't trust the man, not even when the two-leggers congratulated him. She couldn't understand why, though. Eyeing the two-leggers, the mare snorted, and then looked to Yei, "I don't know... but I think he would, at the least. There are just too many mingled scents, they do not piece together correctly..."
The mare shook her mane, "Pale-faces? I do not know what you mean..." Nagual had been in the wild so long, with only seeing a few others and Sanika. News did not travel to her.

"Krouw..." the older girl whispered, brushing aside her own dark raven hair. "I think something's wrong... I'm trying to talk to the Chief, but I'm not sure what's happening..." She didn't like that old man, somehow. But she trusted the Chief and his decision. "Chief Tawadi?" she tried to catch his attention once more, though inside she was cringing in fright.

Rasputin fluttered several feet up in the air to get a better look of what had taken place. He felt like a madman, crazed but he couldn't help it. He was excited. He hoped with all his might that the fool alicorn that harangued him the other night would be the next in line to die. He could think of several others that would qualify too. That punk foal for starters.

Astia held back sobs, overwhelmed. Why had she come here? "It's horrible.. I didn't know twoleggers smelled so bad.. and.. Oh god, is anyone hurt? Ohgodohgod." Needless to say, the mare had never been good under pressure. "Yes.. Kalonas are too good for this.. this is just.. Oh.. Ohmy.." Astia buried her head into Ru's mane, trying not to look at the two'ers, and cringing at every new one. This was too much. She had only come for food!

Tala looked up hearing the cheif, so it was a coyote's pelt that she had touched. She smiled, not just anyone could take on a beast such as that and live. "How admerable..." She said smiling softly. However she did not understand why he was speaking of the village being ravaged or this nonsense about a hoof print.
"Luna! Luna look!" Bandit cried pulling on the horses head. "You're bond is up!" He cried.
Lunathiel turned her head and looked over at a small crowd of people surrounding an old man. Sure enough, the was Tala standing behind him. The mare galloped forward to check on the girl then skidded to a hault, nearly sending Bandit flying, at the srong dizzying, scent of blood. It didn't smell like any blood. It smelt like the blood that flowed through her veins.

"Not long ago, pale-faced two-leggers from the west came on boats pushed by strange clouds." She explained to Nagual in an attempt to update her on past events, "They treated their soquili in odd way, bound them by leather and metal in the mouth...they even spoke strange languages and bore strange clothes," She shook her head and released a sigh as she turned her gaze towards the Beach where they had landed previously.
"They seemed peaceful but why is it that this has happened now that they have arrived? They do not understand our two-legger's traditions...what if their spirits don't either?" She enquired worridly before eyeing the oddly pelted man suspiciously, she still didn't trust him for some reason.
"He just doesn't seem right.." She mused slowly.

Oathkeeper, followed up by Oblivion and Paris arrived on scene. There was news flying everwhere and Oath's 1st expression on the whole ordeal was mingled between confusion and shock. "What's going on?" he questioned, observing all that was going on and trying to make sense of the most of it.
Paris took one look at the fiasco and snorted. She didn't know what she should make of any of it. What had happened shouldn't really concern her...right? She stomped a hoof and looked back at Oathkeeper. "What a bunch of *hokee drama. Come-on Oath, let's get back home" she demanded, but the stallion appeared to be not listening. She rolled her eyes and sighed. She would much rather be by Kadaj's side currently then dealing with other peoples problems.

Aruna allowed Astia to pull away from the smell and sight of the humans. "It's okay, my love, it's okay," she said, trying to comfort her sister. "Were you hungry? You were out for so long, I fell asleep without warning." She knew there had to be some kind of food around here, but with all this devastation, she wasn't so sure anymore.

What do you mean?" The younger girl still held a brave face, thought she was starting to panic. If Mia was afraid, there must be good reason to be. "Come on, you'll never catch his attention that way." She smiled slightly, and then screamed in a high voice, "Cheif tadawi! Cheif Tadawi!" Krouw jumped up and down, trying to see where the chief was in the huge mass of humans and soquili.
