A smile was cemented on Deon's face as he took a few steps backwards and then sat down against a wall, still overlooking the entire city. "Great idea...really is. Glad you dragged me away from the mall and brought me up here."

Zephel walked up to the doorway that lead to inside the statue. Him, chattering away on his sidekick. He had been talking to his friend about a car somebody down the street of his friends house that was on sale." Pedro man that car ain't worth ese. Que fuera Que to madre te dijo. You know what your mom said man, you can't buy it. Any way I bet that thing smells like crap and weed inside it dude. You know those people down the street are the biggest weed heads." He said arguing with his friend in English and Spanish trying to convince him to not buy the car. "Listen, i'll see if i can get a job somewhere around here for cars and I'll try to hook you up OK man.....yeah.....Fine I'll see you next week then." With that he hung up on his friend and slipped the phone into his pocket. He continued up until he reached the top of the statue where tourist usually were. He always wanted to get on the tip of statue's torch but then people would get suspicious and a whole mess of things zephel was not in the mood to deal with.

A wave of sickness washed over Layna at the smell of blood. But another smell was there, one she recognized. "Takiko..?" She whispered, unsure.

"Who?" Deon asked, glancing over at Layna with an arched eyebrow. "Who the hell is-" He stopped, hearing the reply, before turning to look at the source of the sound. All he could see was the whites of somethings maw, as wella s a few glittering patches of red. "Hello?" He asked, looking upwards at this being "I dont mean ya any harm..." (I cant do anything in LA.)

Takiko's voice spoke to Deon now. The scent of lycanthrope was not strong from him. He must have been new. A whole new world he'll have to learn.
Finally, she realized what she could do. Takiko could stop the painful transformation of being a lycan and merely kill him. He'd be better off dead anyway. When she heard Layna, she looked surprised, "I am not weak! I'm not doing anything to myself. What are you talking about?" Clearly, Takiko had not assesed herself recently.

"I need a ******** cigarette..." Doen muted very slightly to himself, before he sat down on the rail to the lookout, watching the two females talk. He dident know takiko, and truly dident really have anything to say to the woman. So long as she, whatever she was, dident attack him or layna, then there wouldn't be any trouble at all. Of course, it wasent like he could do much without any weapons, but he could always try.

"Takiko. You have not fed in a long time, I can tell." Layna said, stepping closer. She looked up at her friend. "Why are you doing this to yourself?"
