Nicknames/Name Meanings: Her real name is Miranda Sinclair and Olivia is her middle name, but she prefers to be called by her middle name instead. This is because she was named after her grandmother and when she went to live with her, her grandmother would call her Olivia, so it just stuck. Her nicknames are Livvy or Liv

Arts: Witchcraft (spellcasting) & Swordplay
Character Looks: Livvy has long black hair that reaches her lower back. She ties up two small parts of it on either side of her head with black ribbons. Livvy's hair is smooth and naturally wavy because she brushes it all the time. It's her favorite feature and she takes very good care of it. Her skin is very fair, probably because the only light she prefers is candlelight. Otherwise she is content with total darkness. She stands at 5'6" and she is very thin since she doesn't eat much. Her eyes are a bluish-green color.
As for her attire, Livvy usually wears black or dark colors. She usually wears skirts with a nice top. Her tops are usually long sleeve or sweaters, even in the summer. She likes to dress for protection and warmth. Usually with her short skirts she'll wear long black sock that come up to her thighs along with a pair of loafers.
Allignment: Neutral
Personality: Olivia usually likes to keep to herself, but she's not exactly a loner. As a child, she made one close friend that she's very fond of, not to mention protective of. She doesn't really want new friends, and you'll find she doesn't open up very much to people. If your lucky, when you first meet her she might seem sweet and friendly, but it's just a facade so that when she meets new people they don't reject her. You'll soon find out she's quick to anger and she seems almost as if she's cold and unsympathetic. She's just tempermental and the only one who doesn't seem to mind is her childhood friend, Minami. But then again, she is much more open and friendly with Minami than with others.
Aside from all that, Livvy is very sharp - almost nothing gets past her. She's quick and cunning and always on the ball. She also really likes flying on her broomstick and sitting alone in the dark. It's very soothing to her. Sometimes she'll light a few of her favorite lavender scented candles and meditate or read...for fun.
History: Olivia's life had been scarred since the day she was born. Her mother was a witch, and the whole town knew about it. When they heard she had married and had a child, they knew the little girl would follow in her mother's footsteps. But Olivia's mother had done nothing wrong to these people. They just shunned her because she was different, and they shunned Olivia as well. But at the time it mattered not, for they were a happy family nonetheless. That is, until she came.
It was rumored that a dark mage had been terrorizing a ton of people, killing them mercilessly. She went by the name of Riku. The mage came to the witch's house personally, as if she wanted something from her. Olivia's mother hid with her in the house, while her father tried to protect them. Of course, it did no good. Olivia was practically still an infant, but she could recall her father's death as if it happened yesterday. Evertything after that however, is a blur. It was like time seemed to move in fast-forward. Her mother quickly put up a spell to shield them and repel the mage. Olivia's mother truly was one of the best witch's of her time. But she used her spells and potions to help people and very few ever trusted her. Still, Livvy does not know what the mage ever wanted with her mother in the first place. She guessed that maybe her mother posed some kind of threat to her. Regardless, whatever her mother did to Riku kept her away.
But that didn't mean she never got to them. Life was hard after that - almost brutal. The death of Livvy's father was devastating for both of them. Livvy's mother had lost her true love and she was never the same again after that. She spent most of her days doing nothing. Sometimes Livvy thought her mother had become some kind of zombie with the way she would always stare blankly at everything. At night, she could hear her mother cry herself to sleep.
School kept Olivia busy for a while. Though, the children there did nothing but tease her and make her life hell. She didn't care what they thought and it was that pride and determination that kept her going. That, and Minami.
Minami was the one girl in the whole school, and probably the whole town that ever stood up for her. Sure at the time she was just an angry little six-year old who basically told the kids to 'go pick on someone your own size,' but it had meant so much to Livvy. They were the best of friends. Minami was always there for Livvy and she was the only person in the whole world she truly needed. And Minami needed her too. Livvy had once mentioned that it was fate that brought them together.
But even with Minami, Livvy's life was still spiraling downward. For reasons unknown to even Olivia, her mother had pulled her out of school before she had even finished her last year of elementary education. It hurt Livvy because she was no longer able to see her friend everyday. Minami's family was quite wealthy, so she tried to visit whenever she got the time and she invited Livvy over to her home often.
Then everything changed when Livvy's mother finally past away. Some say she died of a broken heart, but Livvy was sure she had killed herself. She was fourteen when she was forced to go live with her grandmother far away on the outskirts of town. Livvy's grandmother was a divinist and hardly had the time for her granddaughter. But Livvy held no grudge against her. After all, she had been more caring then her mother had been the past twelve years. The only thing that bothered her about the move was that she was no longer able to see Minami.
The girls kept in contact through letters. Minami was still going to school and Livvy was learning divination from her grandmother. Olivia didn't really like divination, but it was the only thing her granmother would teach her. That, and how to make her own clothes or cook a decent meal - things she would need to know if she were ever left alone. But she wanted more. She wanted to go back to school, but there was no way for her to attend the schools Minami attended. That's when she got a letter from Ria High. It was a boarding school for "special" students. Livvy was accepted to the school and left without second thought. This school would help her learn witchcraft and follow in her mother's footsteps. But it would also help her learn and allow her to practice with her swords. It was a secret desire of hers since she was a child, but her mother had frowned upon it, as did her grandmother. At least far away at this new school, she wouldn't have to worry about what they thought.
Any weapons/armor you have: Two twin blades, but they are an onix color. When they are first removed from their sheaths, they look like small sai, but the blades grow and transform them into swords.
Any items you have: Spell book & her mother's broomstick (to fly on)
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: She uses her swords for battle, but she hardly has any experience in battle because she prefers to avoid physical confrontation. She also has the ability to walk through walls/solid objects, though she doesn't know why. It's not an art, just a strange mutation she was born with. And her spells she learns strictly from her spellbook.
Character Flaws: Olivia is extremely stubborn and impatient. Also, though she is a quick learner when it comes to spells, she has alot of trouble when it comes to her swords. Minami says she'd be a great swordfighter if she'd only put her mind to it, but she tries to avoid physical confrontation, unless she's provoked beyond her level of tolerance. Not only that, but when she does fight she tends to lose her concentration. She's completely on the ball and sharp as a tack any other time, but when in battle she just can't seem to focus. Perhaps it's because she feels like she's betraying her family by fighting when they frown upon it.

When she is angry or upset she gets a faint white scar across her left cheek as if she has just been slapped. She is 6 feet high. On a normal day she wears casual robes of varying colours, usually green or red.
Alignment: neutral
personality: Willow has allways been friendly towards others and extremly intelligent. she has a quick temper and has no problem exspressing her feelings. She is a complete bookworm and is very rarely seen without a book in her hand. If you do make friends with her you'll have her for life.
History: Willow used to live in the country with her parents. They thought she was just a normal person until she was 13 when she started to show her magical gifts. They realised something was wrong when she started to change her hair colour at will. Her father wasn't happy about her being different as she was the first in the family for over 500 years. They sent her to school so she could learn how to use her powers but mostly so they didn't have to see her often. They gave her a pet so she wouldn't be lonely and she chose an owl as they are allways seen as intelligent. She called him Hermes.

Willow has great magical ability but is a little unsure of how to use it. Most of her power comes from earth.

Character Looks : He stands at 6' with fairly tanned skin. Although he grew up mostly in Japan- and even looks more or less japanese- he has dirty blond hair; the highlighted part is the dark part, though. His eyes are a rich auburn color and when looking into them, it seems as though they may just suck you in and have you fall endlessly. He doesn't look it, but he's pretty built; it's what you get for going to the gym, right?
Allignment : Neutral
Personality: In truth, he's a spoiled rich kid. However, he only acts like one every now and then; he's usual kind and sweet hearted, as though he had no money in the world to care about. He's usual blunt in manner and isn't afraid to snap at someone if they piss him off. He, however, is somewhat cold to girls, although he may flirt with some here and their when he's extremely bored.
History : With his parents from two parts of the world, he's grown up in two different places. His grandmother was french, so he's only a quarter, if you think about it; otherwise, he's japanese. Most of his life, since he was one, he lived in Japan, moving over into France at about the age of 14. In both contries, he'd been developing his skills and techniques.
Once there, he met an interesting family; one by the name of Martin. He constantly visited them, always wanting to see the young maiden of the family; and one day, she even told him she loved seeing him day after day. She said it made her feel safe, that she didn't want to seperate from him- ever. He trained along side her for a year or so, their relationship growing stronger each day. The leader of the martins, the young girls grandpa, was also intreged by him and decided to have them marry.
Just after they all agreed, they were about to approach the young girl to make it official, when she suddenly fell into a comma for two years. He feel into depression afterwards, and fled back to Japan; the grandpa thought it best.
After finding she's awakened, he came to Ria immediately to find her; he's sworn to himself that since she told him that before the coma, since they were to be wed while she'd been in it, that he was going to make it happen once more, to win her heart again after so long.
Any weapons/armor you have : Just a cloth that protects against various spells and attacks- not much, though. He also carries around daggers and a sword.
Any items you have: Besides the sword and a ring? Um... I don't... think so
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Psycic abilities and Assassin ones are self explanitory, right? Other than that, he can't really do anything but cook extremely well and has a passion for sports- but those aren't powers... are they?
Character Flaws(You must have at least two.): Since he's engaged to be wed to Skylar, he's somewhat extremely protective of her; however, he's not so sure he wants to anymore- she doesn't seem to be acting as she used to, and he likes Kana more, now. So, he's become extremely protective of both of them, although more increasingly of Kana.
Another, though, is that he refuses to turn down any challenge and/or refuse any sweets. He also hates people who can't cook too good- they have to at least know how to boil water.

Character Looks: Long flowing red hair that looks like blood, sparkling emerald eyes, about 5 and a half feet tall, average weight, and tannish skin.
Allignment: Good.
Personality: Her personallity comes in layers depending on how well you know her. When you first meet her she's shy and distant, after you've gotten to know her she's friendly and bubbly. When you're her BEST BEST friend she's sensitive and will listen to ALL your problems.
History: She used to live with her mother on a vineyard, they were a rich family and always lived a good life. But one day when Kiria was at school the vineyard was attacked and all the valuables in the house were stolen, plus her mother killed. Her mother's will said that she would go to Ria High School. So with the remaining money in the bank she was sent off to school.

Her legs are also trim from her dance and they are also long.

Faia has a fiery but trusting personality. She is optimistic and cheerful. She is calculating. She enjoys the solitude of nature but also the joy of friends/people that love to be around her. She is never caught without a smile, unless she had a very bad day. She likes to write, dance, listen to music, and draw (Though not very expertly). She is also very friendly and energetic. She can be very empathetic. She has a free and romantic spirit. Though sometimes she paints a cheerful smile on her face to hide the feelings well kept inside. Her flaw in personality is that sometimes she can be almost too trusting, which leads her to getting hurt. Dispite what others assume, she is not naive; navity is just another "face" she unconsciously paints on. She is actually very knowledgeable and she hates to be steriotyped. Her smiling face is also an open one. She never lies unless it is absolutely needed. Some people tend to find that her empathy makes her a good listener, so they tell her things they've told no one else; then, if they need it she will give them advice. She hates to be pushed around mentally (AKA made to feel something: like guilt or pressure or whatever) so this causes her to never push anyone else around. Another one of her many flaws is that she is placed into this "Dumb blond" Steriotype because of her hair color and how she acts. She hates this and wishes to change it but she doesn't know how.
History:
Faia grew up with her father after her mother was torn away from them by her people. She never heard much of her mother after that. Her father was tender and loving and this had an influence on her personality. They ran a rather simple life in a modest house in Oakland, California. It was simple, anyway, until Faia reached her 15th birthday. While shopping at the mall, her father was brutally murdered by a sorcerer who did it just because he could. Faia blamed herself as it was for her that her father went to the mall in the first place. After this birthday, her powers started to really develop. In her grief, she didn't realize how strange it would look to a passer-by that a ravaging wind was in her house seemingly from no where. Social workers tried to put her into foster homes but they never worked out. Faia loved her father so much that in each house something happened to make the foster parents turn her away. After the sixth failure, Fae ran away. She could not stand
rejection and new families any longer. For a while she remained cold and emotionless but then she realized that her father would not have wished her to live like that. Thus, she completely changed to almost the same person she was before her father was killed. More will come soon.

Name Meaning/Nicknames: None.
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Race: Descendant of the Skyrians. (Skyrians were a race of humans with wings and enhanced magical power) He has wings, which he keeps hidden as well as he can, but the magic seems to have faded away.
Arts: Flight and Swordsmanship.
Character Looks: Orin is fairly tall for his age and 6'5", and also skinny with a build slightly under average. He has black hair that goes a bit past bottom of his neck at the back and just lower than the mouth in height on the sides. The front is long enough to cover his eyes, but he usualy has it combed to one side so that he can see. (like on my avatar). His teal eyes are covered by stylish, dark black sunglasses. He hides his eyes because he belives they are the only sign of pain, sadness and lies, all of which he wants to hide. He wears either black pants or long back shorts, depending on the weather. He has a blank, short-sleeved dark green shirt under his open black vest. He has a chain of black metal around his neck with a small, black metal medalion on the end.A neat '17' is engraved on one side and a phoenix on the other.
Allignment: Even though his dark clothing makes him seem evil, he has a great sence of justice, although he doesn't exactly do anything extraordinarily good. I consider Orin neutral.
Personality: At the start Orin is quite alienated from everyone and rarely speaks due to his past, but slowly he will gain confidence and trust. All I can say is he'll be friendlier later down the road.
History: Orin lived in a large city near where Ria High is located. He was rich until the town was bombed by terrorists because of a huge monument of a winged woman that represented peace and freedom located in the center of it. Mostly everyone he knew was dead. He was left with nothing. After walking to the nearest city, he applied to enter Ria High School. He doesn't have any goal in particular here, but he's hoping he'll atleast find someone he can trust.
Any weapons/armor you have: A decorative sword that was haging in a bombed-out building of his old home city. He took it with him for protection, along with a pocket knife. (amazing Orin hasn't been arrested, huh? razz )
Any items you have: Aside from his 'Xtreme Gulp' slurpee cup that he fills whenever possible and pet Falcon, which flies around freely and returns to his shoulder once in a while when he's outside, he has nothing left. (I don't realy consider the falcon an item, but there was nowhere to put it, so I just added it in here)
Any battle skills/magical powers you have: Orin is slim and tall, making him quite agile. When he is feeling strong emotions or has a sudden change of mood, the wind may act strangely for a moment or two. (he has no controll of his wind powers, which is from his Skyrian ancestors)
Character Flaws: Orin is weak when it comes to brute strenth. He will also do many unusual things to get his hands on slurpees, for he is addicted to them. A soft spot for birds also causes him to put himself in danger sometimes.
