Khalida Nyoka So then if our existance, in any way we could perceive it, hinges upon the veil remaining in existance, isn't it our responsibility to reinforce the structure to the best of our abilities? Why would it hinge on it?

(Note: I like tildes... a lot.. a tilde being the "~" symbol") Though I also explicitly stated "...in any way we could perceive it..." Can any of us comprehend, fully, what existance would be like if the Veil were removed? Or, more appropriately, could anyone have any potential at any point in time to make a decent stab at quantifying it?

Without it there would be a massive paradigm shift. Such a thing rarely yields a positive result. Eventually maybe, but it is usually very bad for a long time.

Unfortunately, I am dedicated to breaking the status quo and shifting any paradigms that need shifting.

I do too, in my own way. Sorry if I seemed wordy, before.
I just do my best to see patterns in life... and everything I've seen in the range of the "normal" would point to the Veil dissolving being a bad thing, for a minimum of fifty years.

I guess I'm just too much of an optimist in the essential ability of man to grow and evolve out of limited circumstances.

It would just take a while before they pulled their heads out of the ground... and even longer before such scary things as tolerance and acceptance would appear.

I think in an enviroment of total renewal, acceptance could gain as much power as exclusion.

I'm still unsure if it would be a good idea to interfere with something that we aren't certain we understand what exactly it is, how it works, how it was formed, and why. Too many times humans have interferred with something because they think that they can fix it but have not followed all possible consequences to their actions, resulting in the situation being worse than before. The best thing that we can do is watch, analyze, and learn, as in the end we all know that knowledge is a well-known source of power.
Anyways, I really like Nyoka's post with the frequency wave chart explaining how the veil could be set up and how it could function over time. It also ties into my theories of everything existing on key balances and cycles, with the fall and rise of the veil. After a couple of minutes, it started to get me thinking... the veil is made out of pure energy, which we have learned that energy can never be destroyed (nor created for that matter).
The first law of thermodynamics states that energy can be changed from one form to another, but it cannot be created or destroyed. If we take a look at everything in the world, we see that everything consists of some sort of energy. We find this to be true because of the common terms, "spiritual energy", "physical energy", and "mental energy"..... among others such as psychic energies, sexual energies, etc. What does this have to do with the veil? Let us think of if the veil did "break" or "collapse", what would happen with that existing energy? We cannot ignore the fact that the energy would still be present since it cannot be destroyed. Would the energies convert to another form? If so, what could this mean for us...?
Maybe we're all looking at the veil in the wrong perspective. Perhaps it is just a protective aura around our planet to protect everything from damaging factors which not only include spiritual harm (which is what this thread is focusing on), but also physical & mental harm. If we look at the importance of balance and cycles, including what I believe to be just as important to the existence of all living things which is the triad of the mind, body, and spirit.... This means that the veil may not just be a protector from spiritual imbalances, but equally a protector of mental and physical imbalances as well. I believe that you cannot have one without the others, so it makes sense that maybe the veil acts in the same way.
On a side note, energy can also be converted into heat as well. If we think about the theory that the veil "holds in" and protects the spiritual balances as well as the physical balances in the world, the weakening of the veil may be another cause for global warming... This means that if the veil did outright collapse, there may be a outburst of heat being released into our system on earth. However, if the veil has been weakening over time... this could explain the increase of heat (aka global warming), which can also sped up due to physical factors as well.
I know that may sound really far fetched, but perhaps it is time for us to stop thinking in such narrow ways that the scientific world is seperate from the spiritual world, and begin to understand that everything on earth is intertwined with each other and holds no importance over any other..
Anyways... thought I'd come back since I haven't posted in Gaia for awhile... might as well restart one of my favourite forum discussions. xd heart
//again, I apologize if none of this makes much sense... its been awhile since I've posted on any forum about this sort of stuff... xd

Welcome back Jinx. You are one of the best and most thoughtful posters on this topic. Glad to have you around. ^ ^
I understand the topic of it blocking other energies. But as for it blocking physical energies (forgive the term) and the formation of heat, as well as contribution to global warming, I think you need to define exactly where it *is*, first, before you can figure out the rest. Where are the boundries, in what shape, and seperating what how.

Where are the boundries, in what shape, and seperating what how. Easiest way to think of it, is to imagine a diagram of earth and the physical layers that the earth consists of (lithosphere, asthenosphere, atmosphere, etc) and perhaps the most outer layer is the veil, invisible to the naked eye, but still there nonetheless. In terms of saying what and how it seperates, I can't fathom the answer to that right now... I just don't know. neutral But just posted that to see what other people thought about it, and to also try and possibly shift the perspective of how we interpretate the veil, and what it can possibly consist of.
