Yumeko would look at the other two that she said there was a price for them to stay. The red gleam would return to her eyes. Yumeko wasn't evil, she just wanted to gamble. Rowser was wanting to do a bet, bets weren't fun. When you bet against yourself, you always push yourself to win. That was a form of cheating in her mind. From her hip, she would take off her cards, and start shuffling them as if she was ready to play, with the finesse of a card shark. A sadistic smile would cross her face. "My price is simple. I wish to gamble, and I have a game right here." Once the cards were shuffled, she'd lay them flat, design side up. She would then explain. "The game is simple. You pick one of the 22 cards that are on the sand. I'll pick one, you'll pick one, and then Valleria or Rowser will pick the last. Now, this are tarot cards, namly the major arcana. Each card has a number on it. If the suit is flipped, it's negative, if it's right side up, it's positive. Once all 3 cards are flipped, we take the total. If it's positive, you win, if it's negative, I win. Loser must buy the group ice cream. Do you agree to the terms?
She would then take the hug from Rowser. He was such a goofball. "You know I don't like unfair bets, gambling is so much fun. Plus, you'll get a free ice cream out of this either way. her eyes were still glowing red. She was excited to gamble.

Having felt combat had ended, so to speak, the mans loud (and he assumed rhetorical) question made Chase tense up. Had he not just been in his "combat mentality" he may have jumped from it. Chase had half turned to look back towards the man when he noticed the person he had knocked down before was getting up with a death glare and looked to be about to fight again. Chase had an unsure look on his face for a moment, like an internal struggle of something inside of him, before he noticed something else. Roq was advancing. Before the man could do anything, or Chase see which mentality he would be, he had the man by the neck. He would whisper into the mans ear, with fear evident on the man's face by the words Chase could not yet make out before...he pulled the guy backwards and shoved him out of the shop. The man landing on his face from the action of it. Now it was Chase's turn to look slightly dumbfounded; he hadn't expected Roq to go out of his way to help him. Or anyone really for that matter. Before Chase could really process everything...it seemed like things weren't settled quite yet. While Roq went to, in gentman-like fashion, let the girls in first...It seemed the girls, or at least Tabby, was not quite finished with the man.Tabby had gotten to the man with a...brutal elbow slam to him while saying faunus protection justice slam. Chase, now that his own anger had subsided, felt slightly bad for him...though he had to admit when Tabby forced him to apologize and he ran he felt satisfaction. 'One less person prone to such acts, and hopefully one more to be respectful.' He thought to himself silently. At the very least, the main thing wounded for the guy was his pride.
What was even less expected for him was Roq going straight to him and...slap him on the back. Chase would jump slightly from it as Roq would feel...like something soft/ squishy was on his back instead of what he probably expected to feel. Chase was in a slight daze as he said he was a legend and White Steel laughed loudly. His mind running with too many emotions; the pain from the guys slap to the back cause of his strength (even though it wasn't as bad cause of Chase's mantle), the physical contact of a guy which usually sickened him, yet the cheering Chase on for what was a simple and deserved punch to a wretch of a person. Not to mention all the attention Chase felt he had at this moment. It was a mix of embarrassment, pain, happiness, and...something he wasn't sure of. Surprisingly, disgust wasn't even present for once. 'Is this what it feels like to be accepted and to be good?' He wondered to himself silently, a shy blush to his face while next to the boisterous Roq and eyes mostly down. Roq would go on to excitedly say it was something he would never forget, seeming to delight in the guys anger and them putting him in his place. Chase could only shyly nod at that, words escaping him for the moment. Still partially lost, Chase would find his attention drawn to Poppy as she shyly (judging by her arms held tight) spoke. To thank them. Chase smiled slightly at that; not used to be thanked very often nor expecting it for something he felt was...deserved for the mans actions. Though his eyes would blink in confusion when she mentioned him bleeding, and following her eyes, she would see she meant his knuckles. He shook his head hurriedly and responded. "No need to worry...I'm fine. This was...his blood. But...thank you. And anytime...we are a team after all." Chase would respond softly and shyly, seeming to have a hard time actually speaking rather than deciding what to say. His eyes noticeably could not meet hers.
Chase would find his attention then drawn back to the counter by a light tap to his shoulder which made him stiffen slightly; before realizing it was just the shop worker with his shark frenzy. Smiling shyly, he would gratefully take it and...overpay for his own sweet treat. Partially as his way to apologize for what occurred in their shop and...to pay for everyone else as he made a gesture to his new companions. Though he would also notice, by her look, that Roq was sort of blocking the counter a little. As he seemed to be slightly...dreamy, Chase thought was the word, of what had just occurred though it shifted to checking on poppy. Chase would...leave it be for now. He figured since he got in line here...he was holding the spot for the rest of his team anyway. As he doubted anyone would really confront them. Plus...he didn't want to detract from Roq's current contentedness. Hearing Poppy ask the same question of if he was okay, Chase wondered how well the two knew one another. Since it seemed a more personal one than just caring for the team, but he had no way to be sure on that. And while they were in line anyway...Poppy would order something of her own, Tabby's suggestion if Chase remembered correctly. Grabbing a small spoon, Chase would gently take a small bite and hope this was all the violent excitement they'd have for today. Having stepped aside so the rest of his team can get their sweets; which as they ordered they'd find out was paid for them by him.
Ella would look towards Chloris as she politely asked to not be splashed, she smiled towards her friend and nodded "Of course Chlo, I'll keep you safe in the water!" she said as she watched her go off and explore on her own. Hearing Remus laugh as he surfaced from her 'attack' she smiled towards him, opening her mouth to say something before she heard her leader declare a water fight. It was almost as if a spark flashed in Ella's eye as she turned to Henryk who decided to splash water over them both. Taking her hand to the water she lifted quite a large amount of water and threw it towards Henryk, "You call that a splash?!" she yelled playfully, almost getting carried away in the water a little bit. She would then face Remus and splash water at him without any semblance use, so nothing too severe.

It was apparent that Hades memory was fading a little. He thought things were so long ago but yet it was still fresh, being reminded that the time he thought had passed hardly. Thinking on it, he wanted to smack himself for being so wrong but it came with the territory. He was trying to forget it all and with that meant forgetting specific details. Her spying his only fans page he should of seen coming. She was still a woman and she s till had a jealous nature within her whether she liked admitting it or not. IT was not that he cannot be shared. she was not a yandere. HE liked to do stuff on his own without her. It was more....not slipping away? AT least that was what Hades thought. He could be completely wrong though knowing him. As the sun beamed on them and Blair got close, he would stay quiet before she mentioned the manipulative charm that he had. Looking down at her slowly, he would stop for a moment before grin took over his lips.
¨I was assigned to kill after all. I cannot help it that my first reaction seeing you was trying to see what that body can do~ Honestly, has to be some type of pull cause I could of just shut down the chase and be drowing in women right now. The young huntress-in-training was very much curious why the white-haired knight refused to answer her. But, no matter, she would pin him down at some point. Deciding to take a breath for holding.
Just then a wave decided to wash over her a bit, surprising the poor country girl. She was lucky to be firmly-footed in the sand. Holding her breath, she would be under the water only long enough to pull the seaweed from herself free."Cough. Cough....Well, ain't this interesting,"She mumbled to herself as she go a mischievous thought. Hands kept under the water, she would wait for them to be together activating her semblance, the discreet glow of pale green would encompass her like a halo as the seaweed grew in length; she was no more than 3 meters from them. Once they were close to one another, she would try to manipulate the seaweed to tie them together and pull all three under."That's the idea at least."She thought absently.

Though declaring a water war probably had gotten rid of that surprise. Hearing Remus' response only made Henryk more determined than ever to win. And rather than be disappointed for long, he would feel the retaliation from Ella who managed to get him with a big splash of water. Hair pretty much flat on his head and partially covering his eyes, he would shake his head before using a hand to brush the hair out of his eyes. A smile on his face and a look of determination on the young ram. For now, he forgot about Chloris mostly cause she hadn't joined in yet. Instead, his main target was Remus now. 'We'll see if you can avoid this!' He thought to himself in excitement as he heard Ella question his own splash to them. "I'm only warming up!" He would say with a determined and happy voice. Seeing Ella go on the attack, Henryk would make his own move. Even with the water, Henryk was both strong and fast and would use that to help him close the distance to Remus and Ella faster. Rather than just use his hands though, he was going to go for a full water assault!
Once close enough, he would crouch and quickly spring back up to launch himself a foot above the water before coming back down with a big splash near them; though he was directing this assault to Remus mostly since he and Ella were even in his mind. But that was not all. He would quickly rise up from beneath the water, both hands out to scoop and pull up as much as he could, to create a large splash of water towards Remus...before bringing his arms/ hands back down to the water and doing a rapid fire series of tall splashes with the palms of his hands towards the two of them. Henryk was not pulling any punches in this assault now; he was gonna prove how good he was for this water war! Both for fun and to get at Remus for his earlier comment; he wasn't gonna let the guy get away dry from all this. He wished he had something to anchor onto though; if he did he could've used his legs to generate even bigger waves for the two, and especially Remus, to face. Blair was quiet for a moment as he asked her what it was all about. How would she word it? Not to mention there were still questions she had herself. The mission was still ongoing, the next stage was being planned, and perhaps he could come along for it. Having him there to have her back made her feel a wave of comfort, that everything would end up alright. Besides he was sure not to pass up on the idea of killing someone who has harmed her?
Closing her eyes she took in his musky scent currently mixed with salt. Exhaling slowly she slowly wiggled out from his grasp so she could speak freely.
”As proof of loyalty, Aurtrox has tasked me to deal with the remaining members of the anti human group I was born into. It is still ongoing, we have a few more targets to go after, but… in the process, I came across documents about me. About why I was born. How. And what for.” She paused for a moment before going into depth. Giving him every last detail she was currently aware of. Once she had finished explaining it all she looked down to her hands as she pulled them out of the water. Her eyes watching the sea slowly drip out of them as she spoke up again. ”I always knew they wanted me to be a good little soldier…. but…. this….” She couldn’t finish the sentence. It was still hard for her to wrap her mind against it. The lengths to which they had gone to in order to ensure she was a perfect warrior for their agenda, though even from the beginning she had been considered a failure compared to the others. All because of one fact: she had be born immune to their ability to control her, which lead to them resorting to other means to “brain wash” her will.

“Rowseeeer,” Damien belted loudly approaching quickly from behind. Damien hovered over the boy but that did not stop him from throwing his arm around Rowser’s neck. He crouched over and laid his head on the boy’s shoulder peaking over at Yume, as well as two other lovely new friends whom he had not had the pleasure of meeting quite yet. Damien had a big, goofy grin meeting their gaze, “Hey!”
“Are you back at it Yume,” Damien raised an eyebrow. He was all too familiar with that look in her eyes having been raised at the manor. “What are the stakes,” Damien asked curiously while standing up and stretching his arms behind neck. Damien admired the beautiful day. The boy was not too heated with his exposed upper body and his green & blue striped, baggy, tied swim trunks. He did not have much interest in gambling but sometimes he liked to play too because it made Yume happy.
Fortunately for Rowser his “bet” was shot down. Yumeko had a habit of turning that against him by, y'know, actually placing wagers rather than simply being bamboozled into an easy win for him. Not that it ever stopped him from trying. However, if he had non-humanoid ears they'd have certainly perked at her proposal. “Free ice cream? Say less!” This day just kept getting better!
A familiar voice shouted his name and the smile on his face grew. “MEE!!!” He replied and attempted to stand before Damien draped over his shoulders. “Blepf!!” Still, his arms would shoot up in an attempt to return a backwards, upside-downish hug. “Damien~!! Dude, free ice cream is about to happen!” Oh wait, he had been sitting here talking to these people and never asked any of their names. Rude. Well, that wasn't entirely true. He was talking to Yumeko, the others were just there. Double rude. He attempted to stand, but his newly acquired Damien-scarf held him down. Instead, he simply brushed the sand off his hands and offered a handshake to any of them who may or may not take it. “Oh, right, sorry. I'm Rowser, 'The Rabble-Man' Rabbleman.” Still not asking their names. Triple rude.
Rσϙ Oυɾɾσƙ went wide eyed when he saw Tabby slam-dunk her elbow into the guy and put him in a choke-hold before he scampered off like a wounded animal screaming apologies. Roq blinked once. Twice in shock. This team was something different. That was for sure. The best part was Poppy's reaction though. It was one of utter disbelief it seemed. Which, Roq fully understood. He in no way expected this from their team. The whole event was unprecedented. He had never has so much respect and shock from others. He was on a high that he had never been on before, is this what it felt like to have a like-minded team? Allies even? For a moment he forgot all about his self-loathing, and feelings of despair. "I'd say that was an overall success." Roq said as Poppy and Tabby entered at long last. An unmistakable grin on Roq's face. His blood was still pumping fast inside, he could feel it in his temples. The rush of a battle that had ended before it even started. But things were calm now.
That was good.
Roq felt an unusual feeling when he had slapped Chase on the back, but it wasn't something he really had the ability to register in his mind when he was so damn happy. Chase was bad to his casual shy self, Tabby was crazy as usual, and Poppy was stunning. All was normal, except there seemed to be an aura of camaraderie there that none of them had expected.
Roq raised an eyebrow when Poppy asked if he was okay. It was sweet of her to ask, in fact, it gave him butterflies. He sort of just paused for a moment. It always felt like she sucked the air out of the room whenever she said something kind to him. "I'm all good, only Chasey over here seems to have any injuries, but they don't look too bad." He said peering over at Chase's hand, trying to take the attention off of himself. Though Chase quickly clarified that it was the other guy's blood. Roq happily accepted this explanation without another thought.
His crimson eyes briefly made contact with Poppy's, before drifting over to the ice-cream selection. "I'll take a chocolate. Two scoops." Roq would exclaim say a bit abruptly to the shop employee who would get to work. Chase paid, so that was kind. Roq didn't have a lot of money. "I see a booth over there." Roq would begin as he turned to the grunt of the shop employee. Apparently he was in the way. Something he hadn't realized. The Shop employee said they would bring the icecream to him if he moved.
Roq pushed off the counter in a casual way and collapsed into the left side of the boost and scooted in. "I can't wait." Roq said getting excited for his ice cream, which the shop employee was purposefully taking a long time to make to spite Roq, though Roq was completely unaware to this.
The day had only just began it felt like, but was already so lively."These booths are sort of small." Roq said as he pushed up to the window, but saw that there was still barely a seat left. He wasn't even that big. "I guess that's what we get on main street." His attention was quickly taken by the passerbys outside the window. It was incredibly busy out. It sort of reminded him of the mainstreet in his small hometown on the weekends. Everyone went to town on the weekends, but other than that it was never busy. Here, just a small event could produce an insane amount of crowds. Part of him longed for his home, but an image of the shrine flashed before his eyes. A prison that his parents had locked him in for all of his teenage years. He came back to the present with a shiver and shook it off. He looked around like a deer unsure of where he was for a moment, but hoped that they just thought he was cold.
Roq laid back in his seat and folded his arms. Goosebumps lining his whole body. The icecream shop was cold, so nobody could question him. "We wanted to hit the beach after this right?" Roq hoped they were all still up for it.

"Ice-cream?" Aurtrox would say from out of the blue. He was standing right behind Eszter with a stern look on his face, like that of an angered headmaster reprimanding a student. His stance was rigid and his menacing demeanor made it seem as if he was impossibly tall. "You always get brain freezes when you eat ice cream, my dear. You shouldn't do that to yourself." he said in a equally stern tone, but then his golden hued eyes gleamed with happiness as his shoulders relaxed. His charade was over. He was just playing games. It had been a long time since he had seen his former student. Eszter was a darling student, and he had many great hopes for her. He was shocked as anyone when she changed her profession. But this didn't get in the way of their unique relationship. "Come here!"He said opening his arms to embrace her in a fatherly hug, which would only look odd to those around as he appeared to be so very young himself.
"How is Virulent treating you?" Aurtrox would ask with a sly look on his face. Showing that he did indeed know about her current employment. "He's a fascinating man if you ask me, though, I've heard he's not too fond of my work." Aurtrox ordered two cones of ice-cream and swiftluy paid for it. Handing one off to Eszter."Which I find ironic, since he hired my work."He wondered if Eszter would catch his hidden meaning.

We have another game when I'm not ******** up if you win this time. If I win that one, you pay Val back. If you win that...I can't really promise money. But, probably something of some monetary value or I can be like your maid or something for a day. We can figure that out when we get there." She didn't really like being in this position, but, she didn't want to sour things too much and kill everyone's fun so, she hoped that this would be an acceptable compromise.
Just then, the boy held out his hand and introduced himself. Rena didn't take the offered hand, but did at least acknowledge the gesture."Rena Kiyoko. Hades would just hold her tight as he listened. He was not really sure how to feel about the Autrox stuff. He never took Autrox to be someone that goes and handle loose ends but considering everything that he knew about Autrox he could stand to be surprised. Hades knew nothing of the man. He just knew that he did not mind Hades....elaborate ideas on the time. Like he was going to sit in class but it seems instead he was a professor now. Without graduating. Faking it was amazing. Taking in the details, Hades got the main idea but the details of it all were not clicking with him. He got the main idea but there were hidden details he completely skipped over. He was not trying to be analytical or smart at the moment. He was just trying to be comforting.
Holding the faunus in his arms, he never really had a clue what to do in these types of situations. He knew who he was and who he chose to be. A god was who he was and he was going to let nothing or no one stop that. Blair always was different. "Blair. It doesn't matter... what matters is knowing what you truly are. A goddess who stands among a god. One who looks down on these peasants. It's why it did not work. They could not hold you down or control you because of your godly abilities. Remus chuckled as Ella made the sea rise up and splash Henryk with a splash more close to what one would expect of having someone cannon ball into the water right next to them than a pushing of water with the hand. It rather perfectly made his point for him. There is no way Henryk could beat Ella with a splash like that. He'd need to get seriously creative. Of course that applied to him as well. Ella turned onto him after splashing Henryk and scooped up sea water to throw at him. Remus turned to keep the water from getting onto his face. Doing his best to keep his head turned so his vision would get blurred out by salt water getting into his eyes Remus tried fighting back. He swept his arm along the surface of the water to throw up a spray of water towards Ella. Though the splash was lost as Henryk evidently kicked off the seafloor to jump out of the water as much as he could so he could cannonball back in as best he could. Actually perhaps he should compare it more to a whale breaching the surface and then flopping back down instead of a cannonball.
The big splash ruined his response to Ella and forced him to have to shake the water from his hair and blink his eyes a few times. Henryk was right there afterwards scooping up water in his hands and throwing it at him. Remus crouched down into the water holding his arms horizontally with them half submerged with the palm facing outward to create a flat surface at the end. The flat surface acted as a scoop to kick up a lot of water as he twisted hi upper body to thrust his arm forward towards Henryk. Each thrust threw up a splash several feet long and higher than Henryk's head stood up above the water. Remus kept throwing those at Henryk to splash him back, though in all fairness the two were mostly just cancelling each other efforts out as the two splashes and waves from them would just collide halfway between the two of them. With his focus on Henryk Remus was also completely unaware of the glow around Chloris.
