Charlotte Aoyama

[ P O S T ]

Charlotte seemed to stay focused Aaron and zylah for a few seconds. Least until lunia spoke again and her eyes flickered over to the blue haired captain. Her left eyebrow raised as she spoke about go oh hang on. Did she mean she wanted charlotte to hang onto her? Hang onto a light? Or was it that silly phrase to wait. Her breathing was a little shallow as she waited for lunia to stop looking at the thing that makes pretty noises and occasionally has pretty videos on it.

It wasn’t long till lunia started to speak again. A soft sigh escaped charlotte's lips before she replied. ”Fine i’ll stay with you while you wait…” Though even as charlotte said that she had noticed that lunias face was looking more like zylahs with the plotting and mischief Especially as she was slightly closer than before. Much more closer and they would be touching.

Then charlotte watched lunia put her head down again to touch and stroke the pretty video device. Lots of squiggly lines later and a few letters that charlotte recognised. Then came a question that slightly confused charlotte. Causing her head to tilt over to the right hand side in confusion. ”What do you mean speak about feelings? I just..” She fluttered her eyes shut and tried to ignore things for just a few seconds. ”I am not sure what you meant by just on their first date. Why would it matter? Her right hand moved to cover her chest a little. Almost glad that everything went back towards the pair A slight smile on charlotte's face. Least till she started giggling a little as zylah chased after the cat. Even causing Aaron to fall over.

Charlotte flickered her eyes back over to lunia before softly speaking. ”If people are happy. Why should i make them unhappy before the end? If they are both happy then… that's good right!” She nodded briefly before offering a almost weak smile. She believe what she said even if it hurt a tiny amount. But she wasnt sure herself why.

His reaction made her newly found nickname for him all the better. The golden eyed huntress watched as the expressions as the shifted across his features. The realization the dawned and caused his eyes to widen ever-so-slightly. He had seen it coming the moment it crossed her mind, granted the smirk she wore was a dead give away. The same smirk that adorned her lips at this very moment, as she leaned back in her chair, only just barely managing to fight back the laughter bubbling in his chest. She looked rather content with herself and this newly found nickname. "Embrace it. Just as you have your monkey reflexes." She teased playfully, if not a bit relentlessly. The banter was a constant between the two of them, but it was one of the things she enjoyed most about their friendship. "Too good? We'll just see about that." She teased further, a playfully smug grin finding ots way to her lips. Within moments she found them nose to nose, as he closed the distance between them, meeting her gaze head on. The corner of her lips twitched slightly as she fout for seriousness, not so much as blinking as she bright her face closer to his. It was a slight movement, but in the lack of space between them, it caused there noses to very nearly brush against each other. "Bring it on, Adam Argent." Holding the last of space and fighting to keep her expression serious, it wasn't long before a smirk cracked her lips and a laugh finally broke through. Leaning back just slightly to return some of the space between them, the smirk lingered on her lips through his next comment. "Except that... That is above the pay grade of even the elite Master Chief of the Argent Armada." Ridley wasn't going to give in that easily and it seemed he wasn't going to push the subject any further, which saved her from the embarrassment that would be lying to explain these inner feelings of hers.

It came back to her eyes, as it so often seemed too. After all, the first time they had even met he ended up in her face just as he had now, commenting on just shiny they were. Once again, she couldn't help but smile at the memory. If there was one thing he was good at, it was making her smile. Granted, Adam had a knack for making anyone smile. The true beauty of it all was that no one had ever quite been able to cheer her up like he could. As always, he never missed a beat. He noticed right as her expression faltered. The moment the look in her eyes changed. The second the creases formed on her forehead. He made quick work of turning it all around and even though there was still something dark swirling around in her golden orbs, a grin was quick to work it's way through the clouds. Rolling her eyes playfully, she reached out, gently poking him in the side. "Hard not to be nervous when I have to impress someone as cute as you." She returned his light teasing playfully, but there was truth to the statement. She'd always been one to not give a second thought to someone's opinion of her, but that was different with Adam and it was a strange thing to try and accustom to. A small part of her was worried she would mess it up, even if that wasn't what had been affecting her mood at the moment. He wasn't complete in his task to cheer her up though and while she was expe ring more teasing, she received a much more sincere compliment instead. She blinked, almost as if she were surprised. She could feel the blush creeping into her cheeks, hot, red, and a bit unfamiliar. For a moment she just smiled at him before a small laugh burst through her lips while she tried to imagine his younger brother fainting as she walked through the door or his mother squeezing the oxygen out of her in such a hug. It really was an amusing picture, a bit silly, but it made her smile.

"My uncle would probably give you a talking to... but I think he'd like you. He'd probably betray me, team up with you, and do everything in his power to embarrass me." Oh the stories he could have told Adam of her younger days and if she knew anything about her uncle, it was that he wouldn't hold back. Sure he was a bit overprotective, but he'd seen firsthand what Ridley had done through and he had seen her in her darkest days that followed. Despite that, she was sure Adam would be quick to charm hun and when that happened... well, Ridley's dignity would be doomed. There was a look caught between amusement and apprehension tugging on her features, but the expression softened as she returned her gaze to Adam's. "I think I got pretty lucky too." He was sincere when offering up his ears as well as his shoulder for comfort, before pointing out her worry lines as usual. Golden eyes followed his finger as it hovered just above her forehead. "I was thinking about my mom... She would have liked you too." She said, letting out a soft breath. Past tense, it was the only clue anyone really needed to take a guess at the situation. "But that's a conversation for another day." Ridley appreciated just how caring Adam was, and she knew she could talk to him about anything, whenever she needed it. She knew it nith from experience and the many times he had offered. It was something she was sure she would take him up on again someday, but she was determined not to ruin the night with memories from her past. So instead she smiled, the creases on her forehead slowly diminishing as she fell back into their playful banter.

"I like your take on that." She said with an approving nod. Despite the fact that her parents had been farmers they had always dissuaded her from her rambunctious nature. They had tried to teach her manners among other things always lecturing her about how she needed to act like a lady. A whole lot of good it had done and what her parents had worked so hard to discourage, her uncle had always encouraged. Ridley was a forest fire that just couldn't be put out. It was better to embrace it and watch from a safe distance. The harder one tried to contain it, the harder it fought back. Try to stray its corse, and it just might take you with it. In moments of mellowness it was almost beautiful to watch. Only when the heat became too much was it a frightening thing. Narrowing her eyes at his threat, she analyzed him as if trying ti discern if he already knew what food she hated most. It seemed she was sage for now, but she was suspicious. For now she had the upper hand, at least in regards to food, but who knew how long that would last. "You'll have to figure it out first." She teased, sticking her tongue out at him playfully as she waved another piece of pineapple tauntingly in the air.

Narx couldn't help bu chuckle at her phrasing. "Prolific at having children. I like your taste in words! I didn't know you were part falcon! That is wild! No pun intended." He slowed the dancing a bit as the music switched to a new song. A slower one. He kept his hand on her waist, but held her closer as he listened to her. He didn't even care what she talked about. It was just amazing to listen to her lovely voice. ."You definitely make good jewelry. I'll always keep this feather! As long as I live!"
He wasn't exaggerating he meant it. It was a testament to their relationship, and his prized possession. He almost wished he had something he could give her, but other than his hammer very little mattered to him that he owned before he met her. Not a single childhood memorabilia."I wonder what it would be like to have so many siblings. What are they all doing now? half are older right? Did they become hunters? dancers? jewelers?" He loved hearing about her past. This evening was more than enlightening for him. He slide his other hand to her waist as well and held her closer just to enjoy the warmth of her body against his if she would allow it. "You're a pretty good dancer too, well from what I can tell, its good to have many talents. Makes you more employable. I don't think I have any talents outside of fighting really, well maybe a little hunting and physical things like that, but not the kind that make me employable. Which is one of the many reasons I decided to attend combat school. And, also my retainer told me I had to in order to keep my healthcare." Narx said rather bluntly not realizing the strangeness of that situation. "You never told me about that Grimm attack. That is terrible. I think that is actually the reason most people become hunters and huntresses. Usually their family has suffered a loss from Grimm." His expression changed as well to be slightly more somber. The grimm were terrible creatures. Together they would hunt them down and destroy them. "Danaë. Do you think we'll always be together?" He would ask innocently, albeit, out of the blue. His yellow hued eye locked onto hers.

Eli couldn't help but to chuckle softly as Cali so quickly retreated back into her shell, and hmthus, unti his side. Smiling down at the sandy haired girl, he wriggled his hand out of hers only to slide his arm behind her back and wrap it ever-so-gently around her waist. Giving a small tug he would pull her gently into his side, as much for her good as it was for his. As much as he love to be her tower of support to lean on in the hardest of situations, which were often social cues for her, he enjoyed the closeness. Craved it. Longed for it even. Nearly to the point it could probably be considered greedy. But, could such a thing truly be considered selfish if it was both given and taken willingly. If said thing was providing just as much comfort to another as it was to him. It all went back to the simple fact that as much as Cali needed him, as dependent as she was upon the boy, he needed her just in ways. Possibly in different ways and thus it was often expressed in different ways, but there was no denying the fact. She was integral to his very being. It was like the foundation if a house. Take it away, even damage it just a bit, and the entire building would crumble. The pair had been through so much together, both good and bad. They had laughed together, smiledand played. There were countless fond memories between them, just like this beautiful night would surely turn into. However, weaved into the happiness were much darker tails. They had suffered both together and for each other. They had felt each others pain and torment. Sacrificed so much for the other with out so much as a thought as to how it woukd effect them. They had woven themselves e into the foundation if the others very soul and such a close and inseparable bond showed. In their gazes, in their smiles, in the way they moved around one another. It was a special thing. A beautiful thing. A tale worthy of the childhood stories they held so fond. The tale of Cali and Eli.

It seemed Nox was surprised to see Cali slip out of her bubble of anxiety, even if it was just the smallest of bits and being caught in such a vulnerable state only caused the girl to retreat back into the sanctuary. Eli was there to welcome her back, his hand running the length of her side in a gentle, consoling manner. Their team still had a way to go before Cali would open up to them completely but progress had been made. Slow and tedious, but wait was as he often told her. Baby steps. They would get there in time. However, in the meantime Eli would enjoy Nox's teasing as well as the rosy color that filled Cali's cheeks in response. "Damn it. She's onto us. We better go tell your sister." The boy played along, going as far as to let our a dramatic and quite obviously fake gasp. "The gig is up. How will we ever go on?" The goofy green that it up the boy's face would surely be enough to elicit a laugh from one of them, if not then he was certainly failing in his duties of what some might call the class clown. In turn both a compliment and some gently teasing was recieved from Cali herself. "Well, they don't call me the amazing spider man for nothing." He joked, unable to help but laugh at his joke. Truly Eli hit the top of the spectrum when it came to things such as silly and goofy, yet then there was that mischievous shyness of his, and on the other end if the scale, the over bearing sweetness. All wrapped into one little bundle of a guy whom in all his heroics and martyrdom was surely meant to be a knight. "Anything for my little minx."[/b]

Their trip to the food tables was delayed by Cali's embarrassment at his last compliment. Eli got just a glance of her adorably reddened face before it was shoved into his side, hiding the rosy hues from the world. Squeezing gently with the arm that was wrapped around her, his freehand simultaneously reached up to run gently through the length of her hair. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he watched her, electric orbs never straying from the adorable sight that was the flustered girl at his side. It was a picture he wanted forever burned I to his memory. Once she was ready to face the world again he strode forward, keeping a gentle hold on her as they walked with Nox. "If you sight a preferable partner, just let me know... I'll snag him for ya." He teased, likely painting an amusing picture in Cli's head for she probably knew exactly what he meant by snag. Quite literally a string of webs shooting scrisd the room and dragging whichever individual she so chose to her side without so much as a word of their opinion in the matter. After all, who could say no why tangled in a web with the broad from of Eli glaring you down. He was joking of course, but one might have to wonder just how far he would go.

As they reached the food tables there was no sign of their little bunny friend un sight. However, he had thought he saw what looked ti be another rabbit faunus running off and into a rather large woman. Shrugging off the event his electric gaze swept through the area ine last time. "Well, considering the doors trays are still mostly full, the service is either exceedingly excellent or Yenna hasn't found the food yet after all." Laughing softly to himself, he looked both to Cali as well as Nox to see if they had any alternatives. However, they were here already, so they might as well enjoy the refreshments while the could. Picking up a little rolled snack, unsure of exactly what it was, he popped it in his mouth. He worked to chew it while serving up a glass if punch first for Cali, then for Nox, and lastly himself. The task was a fair bit mire complicated one handed.

                                                              ⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯muckle ⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯¤⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯

There was definitely something off with the boy. He was rather peculiar as it was, but for him to stop in the middle of one of his favorite nicknames for her, that meant there was something particularly wrong going on up in that noggin of his. Granted, she hated the nickname, so why she would be so off put by the fact that he had decided not to use it was a mystery even to herself. Perhaps it was simply the fact that she was both suspicious and eager to know what he was up to, because if it had anything to do with getting thrown out of this ball, she wanted some part of it. A very tenuous alliance it might have been, but it would not be the first of those she had made, just long enough to get her way. The lioness didn't even seem phased by the fact that his drink splattered along the hum of her dress. Hell, she didn't want to be in the thing anyway. Any excuse to get it off. Unfortunately, whatever powers Lafelle had processed it with not only protected it from her claws but from stains as well. Sighing a look of disappointment crossed her features as a string of cuss words were muttered under her breath. The disappointment was quickly replaced with agitation that would quickly boil over into anger at his next comment. "I've even trying to get out of this damned thing, believe it or not. I don't know why I thought I could count on you to do the one thing you always do." That one thing being piss of off, cause trouble, make a scene, you know... anything that would get her out of the torture that was this dance. Steely gaze flashing dangerously, her lips pulled into a vicious frown. She could feel her blood boiling, pale cheeks flushing in anger. "I'm... not... ********... cute." Ever word was uttered precisely in a low and threatening growl. She glared at him for several moments, only just managing to keep her claws in check. The more seconds that ticked by, the more she wondered why she didn't just let him have it. After all, she would not only prove his ridiculous point wrong, but a security guard would have been on her in moments and she would have been escorted out and left to spent a lovely night brooding in her dorm room. Once again, it all came down to one thing. Or rather, person. Maria. The blue-haired girl had no more desire to be here than the lioness did and Kenna would not abandon her on her own in such lowly situations.

When he spoke again, it was different, both in speech patterns as well as tone. It was suspiciously lacking in that annoying jovial and boisterous manner she had become so accustomed too. It showed just how sour of a mood he was in, and while Kenna was not even the slightest bit sympathetic towards it, she could at least relate to it. She herself was in a rather shitty mood and she couldn't agree more with his statement. "Yeah, me too." Though, it was more the first part she was agreeing too. Kenna had left he Lioncourt manner long before she would have been expected to attend formal events such as these, but even if she hadn't it could be expected that she wouldn't be anymore welcomed and she wouldn't hate it any less. It was at that moment that Prism would chose to show up with Maria in tow. The robot would let out a sound of annoyance that he had likely picked up from Kendall. Kenna's own agitated sigh would sound almost in unison. "Prism, correct me if I'm wrong, but the last time I checked my father had black cat ears and he certainly didn't beep or boop or flash an array of annoying lights at me." That, and he was dead. The thought would vibrate through her mind as soon as the words had left her mouth. It cut through the most delicate and vulnerable parts of her, her heart throbbing painfully in sync with it. Mercury eyes would gloss over as a flurry of bloodied images flashed behind her lids. Then, just like that, they would close completely. Shoving the thoughts back into the depth of her mind, pushing them over the ledge into that dark abyss where all her demons lurked, she would let out a huff of air as she turned to face the robot. "Can't you see I'm trying to have a conversation here. You interruption is really quite rude." A smug sneer would tug at the corner's of her lips, looking entirely too pleased with herself as she used the robot's constant plight to try and get her to be polite against him. Truly, she was a cat that had ate he canary and she was much too proud of herself. She almost looked giddy with her victory as she turned back to Allister, if a sneer could really ever dictate that level of joy. "Oh... that dumb thing." Kenna was unimpressed with the prospect of getting her scroll back. The only thing of real value on it were the messages she had received from Maria over the years, and they were just as sentimental as they were painful. Most of which of which she had memorized by heart from the sheer number of times she had read over them when she had first returned.

"You know, I could say the same for you. Why are you still here if you hate it so much?" She question upon returning her stormy eyes to the white-haired male, who was still refusing to look at her. She never received an answer to her question. Rather he spoke of some reunion she was supposed to be getting on with, jerking his head back to Maria. Is he daft? I've already had that reunion. Clearly she hadn't yet caught on to the man standing behind her. Allister was quick to walk away which only spiked the feline's anger. "You slimy little rat. Come back here." Nearly indignant in her frustration, Kendall looked like she was about to follow. She was a stubborn little kitten and she wasn't going to let him out of her vice until she got exactly what she waned. A part in his schemes, for he was surely scheming and resulting deviations would certainly result in a prompt boot to the a** and right out the door. Which was all she really wanted at the moment. She wasn't even going to try to enjoy herself here. She had given up on it long before it had even started and was only here by the combined efforts of Prism and Lafelle, who she had already cursed to the end of the world. Granted, Lafelle must still know how much Kenna truly loved her. After all, her aunt had taken her in when there wasn't a singular place left for her. Kept her safe for years until she could attend Signal and learn how to protect herself. Savior or not, the lioness did not take well to being shoved in shiny dresses and forced to social events that she would much rather put herself down than attend. Her revenge was likely the state of exhaustion she had left her aunt in, because it wouldn't ever get worse than that. Other than the possibility of a few, well-placed claws. The robot sill had it coming though, for all she cared.

There was but one voice that stopped her from her mission. A voice she hadn't hear in years. A voice she hadn't thought she would ever hear again. A voice that stopped her right in her tracks. So many emotions were running though her, coursing through her veins and battling for control. Too many to make sense of. Too many to focus on. Too many to even be possible toe exist within one body all at once. It was like she had been shot through the heart. Not once, but twice, thrice. Again, and again. Each time was more painful than the last until there was nothing left. Her chest was but an empty cavity and she was numb to it all. Slowly, so very slowly her feet maneuvered her until she had come full circle to face the wolf before her. A wolf who was but a shadow of the one from her memories yet could not possibly be mistaken. A wolf she had both fought with and beside. A wolf she would have easily strangled herself but fought off anyone else who tried with both claws and teeth. He had been both a companion and a friend. An individual she had never seen eye to eye with and yet had known without a fraction of a doubt would have her back in battle. Even if they had put each other in the infirmary just as many times as their missions had. Even they were just as quick to take a stab at each other as they would have to an enemy. Even if moments of peace between them were far and few between. Despite the horrid way they often treated each other. Despite the loathing. There was something else there between them then just hate. Even if it was just a minuscule spark. Barely there yet none the less relentless to make itself known. They had left their mark on each other, both physical and mental. they and both done and said things that could never be taken back or forgotten. Just the sight of him made her blood boil and yet there was just the faintest shimmer of something else. She was glad to see that he was alive and it was distracting her from her anger in such a way that it was almost equally infuriating. There was just one other thing there. A slight ping of guilt. The frustratingly compulsive need to apologize for the way things had gone that night.

The lioness felt like her heart was being ripped in three different directions and it was an utterly uncomfortable feeling. She both wanted to rip his insides out and hug him at the same time. Which if it wasn't the first they had shared, she could scarcely remember another. It was nearly an inconceivable phenomenon. One that very nearly made her feel nauseous by the disgust she felt at the idea. Standing there in stunned silence while countless memories flashed behind her eyes in a constant and unyielding slideshow. Images that made her livid. Ones that made her want to laugh be it do to his pain or one of their shared schemes, few as they might be. Ones that stung at her heart, whether due to her own guilt or words that had shred into her very soul, causing a pain she would never admit to him. She was a lion after all and was much too prideful to admit her defeat. All the emotions swirling around in her head were making her dizzy but beyond all else she was but one thing. Shocked. It was making her unable to act. Unable to speak. Unable to do anything but stare at him like a dumbfounded fool. Which was exactly what he was doing to her. He hadn't even noticed the girl in the wheelchair just a few short feet behind her. The girl that had once been their fearless and daring leader. The girl that had been the only thing keeping them from literally ripping each other's heads off. Feralis. That was the name that echoed through her mind. It was not, however, the name that parted her lips. "Dog breath..." A nickname she had used for him on so many occasions that it was engraved into her brain just as much as his actual name. It was almost instinctual that it was that name she had let slip.

Tsuki smiled like a Cheshire cat as she had seen the teacher nearly jump out of her skin. Though she could not help but burst out in laughter when the giantess was on the other side of the table. After she had doubled over in laughter, she wiped a tear from her eyes and stood up. She then smiled to Rachel as the shark faunus was coughing and choking. Slightly concerned though, her tail swaying from side to side slowly. "Are you alright?" She asked her calmly. It was then that she met the woman's glare with calm icy-blue eyes.

As she waited a verbal response, she watched her friend, not sure how to help, but hoping to be able to help. It would seem it would be unncessary though as the other female began to swallow whatever she had eaten.
"My. What a menacing glare. She's mad isn't she?" She thought to herself, amused with the anger in Rachel's eyes. She did not seem frightened though, like any sane person probably should be. Ah, then Rachel's threat. She sighed and looked to the woman on the floor. Oh, leaves, she smiled and watched the leaves. "Oh, did you eat some of the decor?" Miya inquired before frowning a little. "Aww, come on Rachel, it was just some good fun," With a kind smile, not really taking into account that the giantess really could do so, or just not caring that she could. Either way, she enjoyed the company of the woman. "Hm, should I present her with the gift?"

Her attention was then taken from the giantess when a blur of white streaked into the shark faunus. Concerned, she looked to the person with an icy-blue glare. "You better run bunny" She told the rabbit faunus, not so much that she would hurt him, tail slowly twitching as if she was readying to pounce. She was just mad that he ran into her friend, and she was always protective of her friends. There was no need to fight, but there was no need to be running into people either.

Sakura slightly flinched. He found her out that easily, huh? She didn't think she was being all that obvious about it. Sakura sighed, a small on her face as she tried to come off as if she wasn't bothered by the statement. "Well, you're the boss. Literally. I just don't like to be a burden." If anything, she was good at burdening herself considering how many times she's talked to herself late at night. Sometimes in her head, sometimes out loud. Helped with being a good listener, she guessed. Sakura shook her head at his thank you. "It's no problem. I understood what you felt. I wanted to give them a good face bash or two but it just would have caused more harm than good." She said before she chuckled. "And it's nice to walk away as the bigger person. We have the high ground now. Karma's gonna have to handle things from here." Hopefully when they were both around to witness it. Fingers crossed. Sakura nodded along in agreement with his next statements. "Yeah, definitely! You cleaned up nicely. Though, hopefully you can stay that way past midnight. Wouldn't want to have to go around trying to find your lost shoe." Sakura hid her slight smile behind her cup, taking another sip of the drink. "And thanks. But the heels are certainly a new thing for me. I know in a few minutes standing up is going to be actual hell." She groaned. "I know the last time I wore heels, I almost broke my neck and my feet were sore for a week. And the reason for wearing them in the first place didn't even have a proper pay off. Woe is me." She placed her hand against her forehead, faking weariness. "Hm. I wonder where Yui is. And Ren to. I know he's here but I'm also scared to look in his general direction. I feel like the moment I do, we'll be dragged in too. It'd be entertaining at least? But I also fear Ren hugging me." Just picturing herself acting like a loopy drunk in such a public place made her lightheaded.

------------

It seemed that tonight's events were playing well. Besides Eira, Richard was another person that could easily be adjusted for her to get comfortable around. Did she really just use "The new kid" excuse for not having a date for this? Sasselia would have fretted but it did not seem to faze Richard from what she could tell. It was pure luck the woman did not go back to flustering. She finally found the voice she wanted. To waste the effort would be utter futile on her behalf. Richard was so welcoming like her own teammate it made things easier for her to let the walls down.
His welcoming to her being at the academy brought a more respectable impression then what had already been transgressing. Chivalry was far from dead here it seemed! It was an admirable trait. The bow of his head to her caused a blush upon her complexion. "Well thank you! It-it helps with the adjusting of everything really." With a contemplated smile, Sasselia had bowed her own head slightly in return, a soft gasp escaping her lips from his compliment. She was not coming off strange after all!? Phew~!
" Oh? R-really!? That's a mild relief to hear actually. I was in fear I would be too... Awkward to pass a normal student. I am grateful for the feedback! Ah! I-I mean... Oh my goodness..." Sass actually giggled to that tiny slip of the tongue, pausing herself from surprise.
Eh~!?
Her gaze dropped away from his eyes, to his hand, and back up again, the blush on her face deepening.
"That would be wonderful~! I may have accidentally sent one of my only known teammates to a potential stranger! I only recently learned about my teammates but have only met one... I-i had sort of panicked and tried to kill two birds with one stone... I just hope that was not the case~!" Laughing off her nerves, she obliged, delicately passing her own hand upon his. The warmth of his fingers brought a well-mannered smile, One question that had stuck was the wonderment on what Richard meant by a girl like her. Of course she would not ask of it, merely taking it as a compliment as the most likely scenario was that. It would have been confusing if it was negativity. She thought of it allowed her the calmingess to walk alongside the very sweet companion who was making her night.

Kail would feel that her bag didn't wrap around the rabbit faunus' ears. Damn it. She then smelled him running into a crowd. She would speak, smelling that the one that smelled like wolves was moving away. "I can certainly fight without my semblence, but our fight will be during Aura/Semblence/and Dust class. She still had not gotten his name. She would recognize him by his scent hopefully, and his voice. He said that she could use her full array of weapons, which meant it would be a 4 on 1 fight, as Kail fully intended to use her snakes. She would then wander through the crowd, moving her cane back and forth.

She would follow the scent, until she got to a familiar one, with one that she wasn't sure on. One of meat and fish, the teacher Rachel. She would smile as she stared forward. Rachel was a magnificent teacher, at least when no one was injured. "Rachel, would you help me apprehend this student, he's using his semblence to make people intoxicated." She would continue to stare blankly ahead, blissfully unaware of the events that had just occurred.

Danaë would chuckle. "Well, with Faunus, you are really just one or the other, but there was a chance that Asger and I would be completely different than our parents. Also, Asger looks nothing like an owl! How did you think he was my brother?" She would have a fun tone in her voice as she said it. He said he would always treasure her feather jewelry. Her face would turn even redder. She wasn't even the best at making things, but it made her happy.

He would then ask about what their older siblings do for a living. "Well, they work as a pair, making natural Jewelry, finding things in the deserts of Menagerie. They come to Vale sometimes to sell their jewelry.

He would then move closer, placing both hands on her hips, she moved to place both of her hands around his neck, forming a loop. Then her head would start hurting. She had to stop the dancing as Images flooded into her mind, of him having something on his neck. It was a mark, one that made him angry. Her hand was over her scar as the memories kept flooding back to her. He had told her first about it, and she started their relationship by kissing the mark. She started to feel dizzy as the memories flooded back into her head.

When she came out of the memories, he mentioned something about a retainer. That didn't make sense. Why would he have a retainer? Did she miss something? "I think I missed something..." Her voice was low as she tried to process everything that was happening.

- - Nova Primrose & Noah - -

Nova looked between her teammates as they spoke, both of them seemed a little uncomfortable and she couldn't quite understand why. She crossed her arms and tilted her head to the side as a cat would, in an attempt to understand what was going on. Looking at Jessica specifically she could obviously see the woman was frustrated at not having a date, "Well if you ask me..." she said, looking around at all the people in the room, then back at Jessica as she nudged her playfully. "None of them look like they deserve ya anyway Jess!" Nova said, in an attempt to cheer up her captain.

The name Feralis was mentioned, and Nova instantly looked to Noah and frowned a little. "Noah, I don't suppose you can smell him and are hiding it from us..?" she said, bending down at her old pup. "Coz remember what happens to us when we lie to our friends.. right?" she said, a short flash of an evil smirk as she looked at him. Noah stepped back, flinching. "No, I don't want a bubble bath - I hate them!" he yelled, a bark could be heard from the small, yet old dog. Nova chuckled, and stood back up straight, looking at Ivory and Jessica. "He's definitely in here, I can smell him from a mile away!" she said, a playful smirk appearing on her face as she closed her eyes and thought. "So, do we hunt down the wolf now, or later?" she said, again another mischievous look on her face, what was she plotting?

Rҽιƙƙα Cҽɾυʅҽαɳ : Team CHAE
Dress, Shoes

After being reasonably semi-full for the time being, Rei finally stood up and approached her team. She went closer to them, then opened her mouth to speak openly and saying, "Greetings, team members! Care to join me at my table?" She motioned grandly, sweeping her arms over in the direction of where she was previously sitting, "I don't know if you have plans somewhere else, but it'd be nice if we could sit together as an actual group." She beamed half-expectantly, noting how oddly cheerful she sounded even though she didn't even know if they'd even want to sit with her. I guess a part of her was always optimistic of how these things went, even though she already received a tough face from Auburn before. But, then again, she just figured Auburn was just being herself when she mentioned her past. She didn't mind, and she didn't blame her. Rei was just used to a more positive atmosphere. Especially the encouragement from her parents, which have carried her all the way till the present. She almost felt a pang of guilt to know that not everyone was as fortunate as her, but she wasn't about to go rub it in their faces. Tonight, afterall, was a night of celebration and festivity, and Rei had zero intention to ruin it, even though her teammates already seemed on edge for even coming in the first place. She figured she should help the situation instead by simply being lighthearted about the whole thing, helping them feel at ease. It was the least she could do for them, to make this all seem as quick and painless as it can be.

Rei went up to them holding a toothpicked piece of appetizer, not at all abashed that she was showing that she had a big appetite, though remained virtually skinny aslong as she didn't overdo the eating. She remembered something about maintaining a big aura through eating well. Atleast that's what she thought she heard. Nevertheless, Rei was in a rather good mood, but it was dashed by her team's eagerness to leave and let the whole party pass by them like some painful trip to the doctor. She wanted to help without dragging any of them unwillingly to the dance floor. She didn't know how she was going to manage it, but she knew that she must try, "Does anyone want to dance with me later on?" She chimed-in brightly, hoping it would break the ice well enough, though she knew she would feel drastically disappointed if no one raised a query. The cold shoulder is what she's been getting recently, but she never took it personally since she's always been trying to socialize with people who made it difficult to make friends. She knew plenty of them, and so wasn't as inexperienced with such matters as most people think. Though it was depending on how well they were willing to be getting to know others from the start. She wasn't exactly a stranger to disappointment nor shyness, either. In the past, she had always been rather shy due to the fact that she was never as confident as much as others were, but when she realized she was going to be left behind due to her inability to make friends, she made it a point to be as hospitable without seeming creepy as she can be.

Narx laughed off his ignorance. How did he not know this stuff he did not know, but it was nice to be with someone who had brains unlike him. "And, well I guess I thought he was your brother by the way you ran up to him crying. Obviously he meant a lot to you, and well even though you may not look alike how many aven faunus are there really around here? And the fact that he called you sister. That piece was probably the greatest tell." He said with a charming grin."Your siblings come to Vale on occasion? Well I should meet them sometime! Menagerie sounds really cool. Maybe we need to make a trip there sometime."
He was enjoying the conversation when he noticed her made a wince-like expression."Are you okay? What was that?" He knelt down a bit to look at her scar, but that didn't tell him anything. "Do you have a headache? I can get you a drink if that helps?" Narx wasn't sure what was effecting her, but he wanted to make sure she was comfortable. Maybe it was time to sit. "Would you like to sit down over there for a moment?" He walked over to the table near them and grabbed their drinks and offered one to her. Maybe it was the injury. Nerves could be damaged and causing pain maybe. "Danaë. Just let me know what you need and I will get it done! I hope you are okay." He leaned in to kiss her scar instinctively. Like a mother kissing her child's booboo. He despised seeing her in even the slightest pain. Especially since the event in class. She was fragile right now and he wanted to protect her.

XXXThe throat of the goliath was on fire, burning from irritation as she swallowed the possibly fake foliage of the decor. Even if her powerful jaw and rows of teeth were able to shred it to tiny pieces, it didn't mean that it was any less uncomfortable to swallow. Not to mention the prior choking, getting a good chunk of it stuck in her throat until she finally managed to force the blockage down and get the first breath of fresh air from her near death experience. ... It wasn't a pleasant experience, least to say. Piercing cyan eyes would glare like daggers through the tiger woman's soul as she began to mock her. Oh, all in good fun, right? Eat the decor? How silly~ NO. It wasn't as simple as that. Rachel's temper was not something to trifle with, whether friend or foe. Those dead, piercing blue eyes would continue to stare down the tiger faunus as she began to slowly push herself up. However, she only managed to get to a kneeling position before a reckless rabbit slammed into her at full force. Though with her body already so tense, she would not topple over. Rachel, in fact, had become an immovable object that this rabbit only wishes it could've KO'd and continue its escape. Fate, however, would not be so kind to such reckless prey.

An intruder, an interruption, a mistake... All those words raced through Rachel's empty mind and echoed in her bitter rage as her piercing gaze was pulled away from the tiger faunus that had wronged her, and instantly locked on the young rabbit faunus that had ever so recklessly toppled into what was surely the most dangerous predator at this school. A cold, dead expression would snear down at the faunus who surely needed a moment to recover from running into what was essentially a brick wall. Rachel's expression was bitter and displeased, already so annoyed with the furball who'd frightened her only moments ago. Now though, that aggression was redirected towards the new challenger that confronted her. "Reckless prey... Never see the light of day." .. It was almost odd to see Rachel fall into such a serious expression. The careless riot that radiated recklessness and never-ending energy was suddenly hardened and chiseled, all due to a simple interruption. Before the boy could manage to scurry to his feet, Rachel's own arm snapped up as fingers went to wrap his rabbit ears. If secured, the woman would instantly rise to her feet. Such an action would reveal how terrifyingly large she was, something that couldn't be conveyed with her kneeling and slouching. A wicked grin crossed her lips as she showed her both massive and terrifying set of teeth, a sight that would surely make most prey piss their pants in terror. "I was needin' something to wash down that shitty plant, I think a rabbit would do just nicely~" A low growl rumbled in her throat with her words, jaw moving with her words to show the rows of teeth behind the front, making it clear that she was a living blender. Though, something about holding this boy... She couldn't help but fight this fuzzy feeling that was beginning to brew.

Tsuki may not have known, but Rachel had a reputation at this school. While she was clearly a dimwit and could easily be outsmarted, as well as hopelessly reckless and constantly endangered the lives of those around her. ... There was one thing that would never change, and that she was always on the brink of finally eating a student. That she held such a terrifying demeanor whenever someone acted so defiantly and caught her at just the right moment. There were even times that she was in charge of truancy, and she would mercilessly hunt down the students that thought they could skip class... The sight was straight out of a horror movie. However, a familiar voice chimed over the jazzy music in her direction, the voice of another predator she knew well. It was Kail. The two of them had an interesting relationship, and it was simply that they had very different viewpoints. Kail was far more responsible and empathetic for the students than Rachel could ever measure up to, while Rachel threw all safety and responsibility to the wind. Still, they were faculty, and they were both fantastic and what they did. ... Especially so, Rachel did have an inkling of respect for the blind snake, being able to manage herself so well despite what reality had given her. Eyes like daggers would lock onto the empty gaze of the woman who had a request, to apprehend a student intoxicating others. Then there was a pause... This kid could get people drunk? "You're shittin' me, this bun bun is the one I've been hearin' all about? God DAMN." This is EXACTLY what she needed. In a snap, her serious and aggressive demeanor would vanish. Keeping a tight hold on Ren's ears, she'd attempt to swing him to fit snug under her arm as her carefree grin returned. "I already snatched me a lil rabbit, I'll just keep him snug under my arm all night~ Unless you think I should gobble him up instead? I could use a bite to go along with this drink..." Oh that sounded absolutely delightful... In a party with no alcohol, she just hit the jackpot. That would certainly explain the coming fuzzy when the boy crashed right into her. It all made sense, and she was more than okay with it~ At least... Unless he managed to slip away from her, or Kail wanted to take him away. But where's the fun in that?

__They rate me at (11) Level 0. ______My aura is.. inactive, and my semblance is.. down.
______I fight with team DECO. ________My status is.. content
___I am at.. Beacon Ball_______Currently I'm in the company of.. Yennefer?, Calista, and Eli

___ Nox's right hand shot out to grab hold of Cali's wrist where the gloves of her outfit covered her skin. The grip was firm enough to not be easily shaken but far from hurtful. Once she had a hold of the girl Nox gave her a little tug to stop her retreat. "No, you don't need to hide. I like this side of you. Now that I have seen it I can't let Eli hog it all up for himself." She let Cali go as she spoke. After all she didn't expect her to change so suddenly and didn't expect the change to stay suddenly either. However, she had seen it now. Cali need to be fully aware that Nox would welcome any side of her. It would serve as a carrot left outside the rabbits den to expedite the rabbit's venture forth. Since Cali had retreated back into Eli's side and he had wrapped his arm around her Nox slipped in next to her and whispered her reply into the other's ear so Eli wouldn't hear. "If you really like this stuff perhaps we should go out sometime and indulge ourselves. Just us girls. Someday your powers should be more controlled, and if not then I will gladly model anything you want for you. We have similar builds after all."

___ Nox stepped back since Cali was turning red thanks to Eli. While the other girl was hiding her face in his side Nox looked up at the only guy they had on their team. He was a joker, mischievous to to core, but sweet as chocolate and most assuredly reliable. Watching the two of them caused an sigh to escape from her that was unbeknownst to her. Nox was aware though of the giggle she made at his joking. There was a lot to pick at in his joke but Nox ignored it all in favor of one part. It had to wait until the back and forth the two exchanged drew up upon its end."Cali has a sister?" She asked, curious to learn more about her teammate. Their group had started to walk by this point so she wasn't able to really focus on Eli when he replied. Instead her attention was split between their party and the crowd around them. Hoping to spot their companion while they made their way along their path to the food tables.

___ When Cali finally calmed down once more Nox turned her head so her garnet like eyes could focus on the other girl. She was peering around Eli's chest to look at Nox who was walking on Eli's other side as she asked about dancing. The team leader's response was a definite nod of her head. "Love it actually. It ranks right up their with sun bathing or a nice soak in a hot spring. Though I suppose it is more of a hobby than those activities. So perhaps it would be more comparable to finding hiding places for things..." Nox replied strongly at first. Though towards the end she placed her left hand along side the side of her face and the strength of her voice waned as she seemed to be running her thought processes by herself more than conversing. Her hand fell and she lifted her chin so she could look up into the eyes of the much taller Eli when he said that she need only to pick out a partner and he would snag him for her.
"Ok then. I might just take you up on that offer." She had a grateful smile as she gave him an affirmative, clearly not catching the hidden joke in his comment. She adjusted her gaze back to Cali. "Though if Cali really loves dance as well I might steal her from you for a bit. Her gloves should keep me safe enough, though just to be on the safe side with my gown she can lead if we have a dance. I wouldn't appreciate ending up naked here anymore than her. Speaking of which, you brought her lots of dresses Eli, so how often will you have to swap out. I'm curious to see what all she has to wear tonight."

___ The group finally reached their destination. Eli was quick to sum up the amount of food on the table to mean that Yennafer hadn't been to get food yet. "I think there are more than one serving table scatter about the venue. Could just be she didn't find this one." She added for consideration. Nox moved a couple steps away and scanned the crowd a little more. Like Eli she caught sight of another rabbit based faunus but that student was clearly male based on the outfit. Plus they were much too tall. Finding someone of Yenna stature would be difficult without a higher vantage point. Eli was too finely dressed to be climbing trees though and both Cali and Nox were also improperly dressed for such activities for both the same and different reasons. Nox turned around when Eli tapped her shoulder. He was holding up a new glass of punch to her. She smile and took the glass from him. Trading him her empty glass for the full one. It was both amusing and a tad impressive watching him manage all that single handedly thanks to his insistence to use the other hand to eat while he worked. "Any meaty snacks on that table?" She asked since he had clearly checked out the food content of the table.
