Pitch Dark Hall
A long hallway stretches before you… or at least you have to assume as much. The corridor is so dark you cannot so much as make out what is right in front of you. All magic spells fizzle, and all traditional methods of light fail. The glowing marks that occasionally appear on the walls are your only landmarks.
North: Continue. East: An ominous door. South: An ominous door. West: An ominous door.

Haunted Library
Pale beams of moonlight cast the room in an unearthly blue glow. A cool breeze drifts in through an open window, rustling a few scraps of loose parchment. Its touch leaves the room and everything in it as cold as ice. Hushed whispers, barely louder than the breeze, murmur from seeming thin air.
SEARCH [1d6]
1: You find a key! 2: You hear a soft scraping sound. The books slide out of their cases and hurtle towards you from every direction. 3: At your touch, one of the books reveals a trap door and a hidden room…! Crumpled within are the remains of a skeleton, bound and gagged. 4: The air grows colder and frost begins to form around your feet. As is spreads across the floor and up the walls, it starts to snap and crack with menace. 5: A whirlwind of parchment gathers in the breeze. A humanoid form emerges between the pages and suddenly bursts into flame. Screaming, it glides towards you. 6: You find a key!
North: An ominous door. East: The way is blocked. South: The way is blocked. West: An ominous door.

Opening a familiar looking door, Zelig finds himself in the pantry again. "FOOD!" he yells and starts digging on the shelves again. He is finding all sort of treats to devour. All this exploring has made him very hungry.
As he is sitting there eating like he has a bottomless pit he thinks about how to get out of this place. He already tried the tunnel and it brought him back here, so now he must face the ominous door. He knows he has to get out of here and soon, this place is beginning to get to him. Everywhere he looks he sees a clown whether it is actually there or not. He never knew he has a aversion to them until now, seeing that creepy clown room made him realize he wants nothing to do with them.
Finishing up the delicious bread he found, he polished off the jug of cider he decided to head out and face whatever was behind that door.

Kavi continues on, persevering over this seemingly endless dark hall. One step at a time, he moves forwards through the deep darkness, following the faintly glowing marks on the walls. He thinks perhaps he shouldn’t have gone this way but it’s far too late to turn back now. Kavi might as well continue forwards through.

Niamh was startled, EXTREMELY, by the sudden hug. She stared, shocked, then realized the woman who had hugged her was heading in the direction of the room with KNIVES. "Hey! HEY WA..." But it was too late, she, and the person she was with, were gone. Niamh stared at the door, a little despairingly, before shuddering and finally deciding to keep moving.
Who knew what else would come after her, otherwise?
As such, she turned East and headed for the door, her eyes nervous and her hand trembling... but at least the screams had stopped.

He heard Promise speak. Heard him asking about the cold in his own hand.
However, he didn’t hear Promise where he should be. Which was next to him. Holding his hand.
As though a bucket of ice water was dumped on him, he tried to stammer out something, anything. His voice kept coming out in a squeak, though. ”P-Promise,” he eventually whined. ”T-this isn’t you, i-is it?” he was able to get out as he moved his other hand to fill up the arm… up and up and up until… it encountered nothing. Absolutely nothing but air.
With a choking sound, he yanked his hand away, stumbling back several steps. ”Promise, where are you?!” he cried. He couldn’t just stand here. In the dark. It seemed like something brushed against one of his tails, he couldn’t be sure. But he wasn’t standing there to find out. With a yell, he began to run, not sure if he was going forward or back. He just had to get out of there or find light, somehow find Promise again.

Ayuu took a step back at the sight that met them, zer tail brushing the door as ze swallowed. "I'm not sure this is any better than outside."
"That's a key though, isn't it?"
Ellis chuckled, though there was little mirth in it. "I think so. Why don't you go get it?"
They stood in silence for a moment, then Bo strode forward and snatched the key out of the sarcophagus. "Done. We going?" He spun on his heel and waved his prize in Ellis's face as he continued back outside.

Out of the doll house and into a hall of mirrors. Xenia chewed at her lip. She was never great at these, but then again, she was probably a bit more motivated than anytime she had tried these in a faire or what have you. She took a deep breath before stepping in, moving carefully, her hands reaching out to touch walls of glass to avoid running into the face first. "No rush, I'll just take my time. It's not like I'm stuck in a creepy mansion or anything." She muttered softly to herself as she walked slowly and with purpose.
She surprised herself by managing to actually find the door- she had only bumped her nose on a mirror once on the way too! Oh. This door was locked, did those keys she pick up work for that?

The sound of canvas tearing made T'kani snap to look at the source, eyes going wide for a moment. She jumped back, thankfully not knocking into anything, before she started visibly giggling at the surprise.
Once she calmed down, she looked over at Noelan, making sure he was okay as well. 'This looks like it's going to be fun!', she signed to her boyfriend, trying to reassure him.

Roshan smiled at Eywa's jokes. This person was nice and definitely not part of this event. "I'm Roshan," they said. They waved away Eywa's apology. "It's okay. Being startled is to be expected." They opened the west door and prepared to step into the next room, hoping Eywa would follow. "There is probably a bunch of us wandering around right now," Roshan stated before moving forward.
They took a second to look around and instantly felt uncomfortable. Roshan didn't hate spiders, but the webs are sticky and those groaning cocoons were not pleasant. As much as they disliked this hall, at least it was possible to see it was a hall. Roshan saw slightly less of the cocoons towards the south and decided they'd rather go that way for now.
