"You still won some chocolate out of it," Sally soothed. She looked over the booth and shook her head. "I... it, it is covered in fake plastic sealpups, Eirian. I just want to laugh." She hugged the specter fox instead the gryftoo giving demanding noises at her feet.
"Darts," She said firmly as the suggestion of a new game came up and she knew what she wanted to do. "Darts, come on." There was a game booth near by and she wanted to show off to them.
She paid for three darts and grinned brightly, aiming and tossed, thrilled at the firm sound of the pop of a balloon as the metal point met it. Two more darts and she was picking out a bunyip plush and holding it out ta Eirian.
"Here... we can um, trade plushies we won for each other," and was that just making it awkward?

Reece noticed Liv approaching from the corner of her eye. She sighed a little. "You know I can feel you tense when you hear me coming, like I'm that kid in academy who noone wants to partner with. I always worked with that person cuz noone should feel like they aren't good enough Liv". She looked at Liv who was wearing what she assumed was posh dress then looked down at her own tshirt and worn jeans. Her ears lowered."I know I'm not cool.. or whatever you want to call it but I thought we were friends and that kind of stuff didn't matter. You were clearly embarrassed of me..or ashamed" She reached into her shoulder bag and handed Liv one of the two pink bunyip plushes she had bought. Each plushie came with a tag with a saying on it like those little candy hearts. Friends Furever. It was cheesy yeah but it worked. "I like being us better when no one is watching because if no one is there to judge you, you don't care so much about your image." She looked over Liv's shoulder were Nym was still standing in the distance. Reece took a deep breath trying to return to her normal happy disposition. This was not how she planned this day would go.
While perusing the various wares of the event Marissa stumbled across a stray wisp. She smiled and offered the wisp a energy crystal from her bag as food. You would think it an odd thing to carry with it but you never know when you could be stuck somewhere without power and need a charge. The wisp seemed quite pleased with this. It was glowing pink and Marissa could see its center was a plump pink heart. "Oh my aren't you festive!" she commented. "We match!" Smiling she twirled in her dress. The wisp seemed to mimic her by rotating as well though in more of a ticking clock formation. Though Marissa had always had it in her heart to own a vespercat or a fenniken, a wisp would be pretty cool. She knew from a friend that they don't require much care and this one was very pretty to look at. Smiling up at the wisp she offered it shelter and food in exchange for its companionship. Since she didn't rly understand wisp she couldn't be sure if it understood or agreed but it was following her so she supposed it accepted?

after spending hours at the HJ bella becomes a bit uneasy and returns home, she never was grate with public interaction
while taking her time to get to know her new companion suddenly something bops in to Stella's hat! as she bent down to pick up her hat she notices a cute little Nezubat dizzy and disorientated atop of her fallen hat. she couldn't help but smile at this adorable thing all baffled now gazing up at her, suddenly scurried under her hat , she picks it up as her little vesper gazes in with her, she is over come to become friends with the nuzu and take it home aswell
Vega had to do a double take. He thought he just saw Leto. Was that his hair? No, no it wasn't. He sighed as someone handed him a vespercat plushie. It was cute and all, but Vega was starting to feel lonely. He didn't see a lot of his friends, and Leto wasn't here as far as he knew. Maybe he should go home?
"Oh... I love specterfoxes." She looked down at the plushies in her arms. "...I have 10 of them at home." Yeah, she really loved them. "Do you... like specterfoxes?" Maybe they had common ground? Talking about familiars was easy, after all.
Meadow felt fabulous. He tossed the boa around his neck and strut around the dance. He got a handful of candy coins to munch on as he looked for someone to talk to.

He blinked as the goblin scooped off all the flavoring from the snow cone. "Ah...!" And like that he was ducking away. Well, now this was going to be a challenge. Mallory followed him. "You don't seem to be enjoying yourself." He said casually. "Maybe you need someone to spend the day with?"

"I'm usually with my family when I'm not in school, but today is a fun festival day, and one of my big brothers is being a real stick in the mud lately and I'm tired of cheering him up."

The sudden voice made Xenon jump a little. He dropped the plushies in his arms and blinked at the person who spoke to him before pushing his glasses up. "I... uh... yeah, it seems so." He knelt down to pick them up as someone draped a boa over his shoulders. "What the? Am I not fuzzy enough?" He stood up again with his prizes. "Anyways, yeah, plushies. UH... little sister will love these." Yeah, he could just imagine what Chidori would say if she saw him with a bunch of plushies. "Oh, I'm Xenon."

At least the music was good. Quill didn't mind wandering around alone. He looked around and saw that Xenon was talking with a very pretty nightmare and smiled. Way to go Xenon. It was about time he made more friends. Over all, Quill called this night a success, simply because his buddy was mingling.
Nuka was really enjoying the festivities and the loudness. It had his heart pumping in a way different than the clubs did. It was thrilling. It was exciting. It was full of energy.
Smiling happily, he moved over to the table of boas, eyes moving to Soleil to see if they would follow. He could make a craft out of all the boas and their colors were really too much fun. Decorating would also be fun. There was also… other activities he could do with them, though his cheeks flushed a bit and he quickly expelled the thought, reminding himself of what sort of crowd was around.
Soleil shrugged and easily followed Nuka to the craft booth. Might as well spend their time doing something useful. Although...They were pretty sure that their roommate was going to look at anything that they made and consider it trash.
Soleil smirked. Their reaction would be worth it even still. "What are you planning to make?" The kirin leaned against the table and stared. Deftly choosing out one of the pink bunyip plushies with the biggest teeth. The thought of their roommate holding the stuffed familiar had them smirking. It was so unlike him. Definitely needed. The look on his face was going to be priceless.
Getting to her feet slowly as not to disturb or hurt her new friend she tugged her plushie with her other hand and began to walk back towards where she got the plushie hoping her chaperone and group would be there.
She was a little scared but she was determined to find her way, she had a new friend and she felt safe. As she was walking a small bag of candy fell off a table and her familiar jumped down and grabbed it before skittering back into her hand but they kept climbing until they reached her shoulder.
Laughing she decided to call her new friend, Skitters. It seemed to like their name and tried in vain to get the bag open. SnowLily just let them play with the bag hoping they couldn't open it.
I'm choosing to ignore the roll. x Eirian laughed at Sally's comment about the booth. "It is rather funny looking.." They scrunched up their nose with a smile as they took in the full view. The attendent looked a little upset but shrugged after a moment.
When Sally mentioned darts, Eirian looked around. It seemed Saly already knew where such a game was, however, as she went ahead. Eirian followed behind her. The Fey hybrid had horrible aim so they wouldn't even try, but Sally seemed confident as she paid for darts.
One dart after another popped balloons with ease. Eirian was impressed. "Wow," they said as Sally picked out her prize. Eirian was taken aback when she held out the stuffed bunyip. They smiled widely before fully accepting the plush. "Thank you. A perfect way to remember this fun day."
"That was amazing, by the way," said Eirian with awe still in their voice. "Was that skill or luck? Either way, wow."
